I took the lessons/road test package here and it was a great experience! I was very nervous and unsure of myself, but Tijana is a patient and understanding teacher. She was punctual, organized and took appropriate covid precautions. I learned the skills and confidence needed to obtain my N license, and would absolutely recommend Royal City Driving Academy to anyone wanting to take driving lessons.

I absolutely enjoyed all classes with instructor Tijana. I got my class 5 licence in my first attempt and I’d credit my success to Tijana without a second thought. Tijana provided thorough and precise teaching in all lessons that I took with her, which I found really, really helpful. I had some overseas driving experience but driving in BC is a very different with a new set of rules and challenges, but Tijana made it very easy to adapt to this new driving environment. She was also very kind, patient, calm, and supportive and always gave me helpful feedback. I also liked it when she'd use a whiteboard to illustrate key concepts (such as intersections and turns). Scheduling lessons was easy, and I could also schedule my lessons far in advance (which was much appreciated). Lastly, she is friendly and approachable which made my learning experience quite enjoyable. Highly, highly recommended for anyone preparing for the ICBC road test.

Tijana was my second instructor after a first fail attempt with somone else. Tijana is absolutely great. She was a very patient person who gave me constructive feedback when I did things right or wrong, but in a very nice way. She also was very detailed while teaching me, what help me build confidence as an international driver ( Brazil). The best thing for me was I felt relaxed while driving with her. My experience: We did a few sessions (maybe 8ish) and I passed my exam on the first trial. I recommend!!

Before I scared to drive a car ( even if I get classes with other driving school), I didn’t feel confident but after 2 lessons with her, she made me feel so relaxed and confident. Tijana was so cool and made me feel comfortable in driving. She taught me well from zero knowledge in driving and now I can say that I have the skills and confidence in handling the vehicle. This was an amazing course. I found it extremely helpful in preparation for my road test. The instructor (Tijana) was very friendly, and has an extreme amount of patience. She made driving enjoyable. Her teaching methods were easy to understand and remember. Because of her I passed my road test on the first try, but now that the course is done I'll miss her. I would highly recommend Tijana to everyone.

Tijana is fantastic!! I recently made the decision to start learning to drive again ( I had REALLY bad anxiety when i was younger), worried that my anxiety would still be to high. Tijana made me feel so comfortable behind the wheel and she was so patient. She made sure to take me to somewhat complicated and diverse area's of Burnaby over and over again when I was ready and until I was comfortable and fully understood the rules of the road. By the time I took my test- driving felt so comfortable and natural! Thank you so much for your kind and patient teaching Tijana!! Conquering this fear has truly been life changing :)!

Tijana is an extremely patient instructor who, through a series of lessons tailored towards international drivers, helped instill in me plenty of confidence to drive. She is a natural teacher and a her driving knowledge is unparalleled. Her lessons are very reasonably priced, and she is punctual and never cancelled on me despite having an overbooked schedule. She also took all necessary precautions during these Covid times which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, since she was overbooked, I could not make use of the road test package. I cannot recommend Tijana enough as an instructor if your motivation is to become a better driver.

After three months or so I had learned all the rules of the road, how to drive safely and pass my first road test thanks to Tijana. She is super kind and has a calming sense that allowed me to feel comfortable not only driving with her but having a conversation with her as well.
