I would give Duda a 10/10, and I have only good things to say about Duda as my driving instructor! I took extra practice lessons with Duda before my Class 5 road test. Duda is an excellent coach, very professional and thorough; she was also friendly and approachable putting me at ease behind the wheel. I've had many different instructors before and have tried different driving school such as Young Drivers as well, but none of them worked out. So I've stopped driving for about 8 years. Duda gave me the confidence and expertise needed to drive again and actually enjoy the process this time. My mentality around driving completely changed thanks to Duda I am no longer afraid of driving or dread it. Duda carefully takes the time to notice and explain my driving habits to me and little things to fine tune. She's very good at explaining things to me and when I don't get it she would take her time to demonstrate it for me or explain it in a different way where I can understand. As a learner of course there are mistakes to be made, but Duda never once got mad or lose her temper. She was very patient and understanding things happened and what to do in similar situations for future. With the help of Duda after 6 lessons I have successfully passed my road test!!

I did the 12 1.5 hour lessons with Duda. She is a wonderful teacher. Her teaching style forced me to come out of my comfort zone in order to learn as quickly and as efficiently as possible while still honing in on driver safety. I had never driven before and, naturally, was very anxious about getting behind the wheel. However, I am now a confident and safe driver all thanks to Duda; she had a great personality and was overall a very likeable teacher. Our energies meshed well, making me even more comfortable to drive with her and to be taught by her. During some lessons towards the end I would mention areas in my driving I still wasn’t confident with, and in response she would spend that day’s lesson primarily focusing on strengthening my confidence and skills in that specific area. I passed class 5 road test after practicing with Mint Driving Academy. Besides getting my license, my driving skills are much better now (more smooth and safe). We had to practice many hours as I failed the first attempt (my mistake -- I haven't noticed the car that had a priority) but I believe better driving skills will pay off. I recommend to use driving school car for the road test because in some moments examiner was covering second brake pedal being ready to interrupt me. I think in a standard car examiner could take control earlier to avoid risk and exam would be failed. In academy car examiner feels more control and let you finish the maneuver. Thanks to Duda for teaching me and for all the friendly support.

She has a very comforting presence, she knows what she’s doing, and she is fun to drive with! I tried teaching my son to drive. He failed. I then ordered 10 lessons from Duda for my son. Her prices are exceedingly reasonable. Most importantly was the improvement I saw in my son's driving. His road sense, fine maneuver control, confidence, and test basics all improved massively. He is now an N driver and I have peace of mind when he takes the car. My daughter will also learn with Duda. I have booked my Road Test for my class 5 few days ago. I didn’t want to fail and do the Road Test again in two weeks. The best way to pass your RT first time is to take Driving lessons. I highly recommend doing that, it does not have to be the Mint school, but to be honest I think in this school you will have a lot of devotion and good advises as well, to pass the exam at the first time. . Do not be cheap, take as many as you need ( until you fill confident for you RT). Duda has over than 20 years of expireance as a Driving School teacher. She is very strict which means we are not here to make jokes and hang out around, which a lot of driving teachers do. When I got my first hour of driving , I have realized how bad am I , and how many mistakes I have. It is really hard to get in shape or to follow the schools prosigers for the RT after two years of casual driving. During my driving course ,Duda would criticized , and point out my mistakes . So after my RT, the examiner was so surprised how good I was , and asked me a few questions: " Is this you fist Road Test for the class 5?". I said: YES. Did you take any Driving course before your RT? YES. And when I thought I haven’t passed , he said “don’t worry. Congratulations , you have PASSED” .I was super happy that I passed after only one time. The examiner told me that the drivers do the RT perfect the first time, when they take driving courses at a GOOD driving school. Which means thank you Mint School, thank you Duda. I gotta say I wasn't nervous because I was 99% sure that I will pass. If you read this on the site of the Mint driving school the best think that you can do is to book you fist course at the same school. You will see yourself when your examiner says “ Congratulations, you have passed”. Tnx for reading this . I hope that I have had help somebody. To prove this there are two photos of my RT sheet .

Duda is a wonderful person and driving instructor. I had failed the road test 3 times with another driving school and it was my 4th attempt. A few days before my road test, Duda felt I wasn't ready yet and so I cancelled my road test appointment. I booked another road test appointment and before that date, I practiced every single day with Duda for 7 days. My driving improved greatly and I passed my Class 5 road test at ICBC Wayburne Claim Centre. I am glad Duda gave me her frank feedback and made me practice more. My right and left turns improved greatly and Duda taught me a much better way of reverse parking the car than I had learned before. I am thankful for Duda's training and patience and very relived that I passed the test!

Paid for the 10 hour package and all I can say is that the instructor is genuinely invested in not only one's driving ability, but the thought process behind what makes each decision important as well. Professional from start to finish and always looking how to improve makes this instructor stand out as an amazing experience that you can carry with you proudly. I improved immensely from this professional training. I honestly wasn't able to keep myself from feeling sick when I thought about getting behind the wheel due to past experiences. After even as short a time as 10 hours, I passed my N test on my first try and am confident that if I had to take it again I would pass it again no problem.
