It only took 3 lessons to get me in perfect shape in other to pass my test on the first try. The instructor is not a money hungry extortionist (like the people from my previous school), he assessed my driving skills, told me the areas i was lacking in and pointed out the errors i was making, and also how to counter them. All that was done in 2 lessons, I only took the 3rd to ensure my confidence in taking my road test. So to whomever is reading this review, i would definitely trust the rating that this school has. And I would 100% recommend this school to anyone.

I just took the road test for my N this morning and I passed confidently with only a couple of minor errors. In other places in-class g2 lessons tend to feel boring and long but not here, teacher keeps you engaged and only teaches useful information which you will need once you hit the road. As a newcomer to BC, I needed to do a class 5 road test to convert my license to a BC one. I enquired with around 10 different schools and less than half even responded. However Safa responded to me within minutes even though it was 9pm. His communication was very good throughout, he was reliable and always on time. His rates are very competitive compared to other driving schools. I am an experienced driver and thought I just needed a quick lesson to show me the ropes for the test, but Safa showed me many areas I could improve and drive more safely. I had a total of three lessons with him and used his car for my road test. The car we used was clean, comfortable and well maintained. He showed me all the possible routes that the examiners use, and pointed out specific areas that are common points of failure. He took me to all the complex intersections, and had me do them repeatedly until I was comfortable to cruise through them without requiring any corrections. After three sessions I knew the area very well and felt confident for the test. I passed my road test first time at North Vancouver ICBC, despite it pouring with rain. The route we drove on for the test, as well as the feedback that the examiner gave me, was exactly the same as Safa had advised me, so it's clear that he has a superb understanding of how the test is conducted. With the current backlog of road tests looking like it will continue for some time, it's even more important that you get a good instructor to help you pass the test, and I highly recommend Safa from Maple Driving School.

I just had my G2 test last Thursday and I passed on the first attempt. I used such bad drivers anxiety but Seyon was very patient with me and was able to drive confidently. He is very considerate of your schedule and tries to find the best time for each of his students. He is also very affordable he takes into consideration that most of his students are still in school so he doesn’t charge ridiculous prices while still giving a good education of driving both in class and on the road. I’m going to take my brother and sister to him and anyone else I know.

Called this driving school everyday for a week to two now. I would get my call cut most times and every time I did manage to get an answer and expect a reasonable response as per the discussions, it just never came. I been trying to enroll in their driving school for a while but their communication with the customer is just so bad. If it’s this stressful to make to just register I wonder how communicating with the instructors will be when I really need to. I will not be using this place as they clearly do not want customers and are to busy to have the basic decency to do what they say they will. If you are too busy and cannot accommodate more customers just say so instead of drawing things out and wasting someone’s time. Thank you.

My son just passed his test first time and even the examiner said he was such a good driver and he couldn't believe it was his first time taking the test. Safa Madani is very organized, great communication and very clear and patient. He taught my son a lot of good skills and I know this is why he passed first time. My son had started with Capilano driving school and they were terrible, didn't show up when they should, or showed up when it wasn't the the time or date. They were also very hard to understand and the car was rough. I'm so glad we changed to Maple otherwise my son would have probably failed. We cannot recommend Maple enough. Expect excellent critical criticism which will greatly improve your approach to driving. The prices are very fair in comparison to other schools in the GTA, and at the end of the day you'll get yours money's worth when you pass. Seyon teaches you not only how to drive, but also how to do it safely. He makes sure that you are not only equipped to pass the test, but also that you are able to keep yourself and others safe even AFTER you have passed the road test. He makes you think of the bigger picture, because the road test is not the end of your journey as a driver, but rather just the beginning of it. He gives honest and direct feedback so that you will know what to work on and he never compromises his standards. He takes the time to talk to you at the end of each practice session to discuss what you did well and what you need to improve. He can sometimes be strict when giving you reminders, but for all the right reasons: he wants you to do well and to be safe. I passed the road test on my first attempt at Downsview thanks to Seyon's expertise and teaching style. It takes a competent instructor for a student to efficiently acquire a skill, and Seyon definitely ranks high when it comes to being competent. 100% I would surely recommend!
