I contacted Ish for my second attempt at the class 5 road test, having failed once a while back under a different instructor. Ish is extremely punctual, patient and has a great way with teaching his students. When taking his class, it feels like he actually cares if you pass and will work hard (with you) to ensure you are 100% prepared for the test. A highly competent instructor. Knows students better than they know themselves. He identifies weaknesses and then meticulously works on fixing them. Plan - Very precise planning. Gave me a unique plan specific to my situation. I went thorough the planned course and got my class 5 license in less than three weeks! No hassle at all. Instructions - Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Very patient instructor, does not get annoyed by questions or repeated inquiries. Fees - I found them on google. Without any reference, I was expecting to be overcharged. I was delighted to find out that the instructor is a very honorable person. Never overcharges, offers a good rate, and delivers what is promised. Builds confidence - Provided me with good feedback in a very professional way which helped build confidence. I was never confused and the feedback was never inappropriate, nagging or unreasonable. One of the unintended consequences of hiring (bad) instructors is that they kill confidence with undue criticism. You do not want to keep second guessing yourself during the road test because your instructor gaslighted or confused you. Exam date - The instructor helped me get a road test date within 3 days of me completing the plan! Pre-exam - This was a very useful warmup before test. I made many mistakes. The instructor calmly corrected the mistakes without making me more anxious. Go for it. You won't regret it. Simply follow the instructions and you are all set.

I put off getting my class 5 for 10+ years so when I finally booked my road test I needed some refresher on how to drive per ICBC guidelines. I did 2 classes and a warm up session right before the exam and passed it rather easily. My examiner said I was pretty chill and that’s because Ish was super calm (and a calming voice) when driving with me. He also reminded me how to do proper reverse stall parking, which was super helpful. Highly recommend him to help you with passing your exams!

I had a good experience here. Though I failed the first attempt, ish made sure that I would pass the other one. He is very nice and understanding . Vancouver driving test can be very hard in some areas but with the right instructor you can definitely pass the test.

I had a very time sensitive issue so I scheduled my test really ahead of time but thanks to Ish that he encouraged me and within 4-5 days he made me successfully pass my class 5. We went to all the routes ICBC Burnaby takes you to and luckily right before the test we practised couple more likely to happen than other routes and my examiner chose the same one I just practised. I just passed the Class 5 road test in the first attempt and got my full license yesterday. It was an unbelievable result to me because I have no driving experience before having lessons with Kumar and it was also my very first time having a road test because my motorbike license in Vietnam helps me skip taking the Class 7 road test. I am so grateful because I got this all thanks to Kumar, who is so knowledgeable, patient, and caring. He not only taught me how to drive safely, explain all the rules of the roads so easy to understand, spot all mistakes for me to quickly fix, and answer all of my dummy questions at ease. Most importantly, he empowered me to be confident, believe in myself to excel in the road test. Besides taking one-on-one lessons with Kumar, I truly recommend renting the car with Kumar and have a pre-test lesson with him because he knows the test better than anyone. You will have no surprises during the test because Kumar had already pointed it out thoroughly before that. I have over 12 years of driving experience in India. But as you know driving in Canada is very different being a left hand drive system here and different rules to follow.
