I was very fortunate to have Krisna as my instructor. I already had a driver's license from India. Seating position and Driving lanes in Canada are completely different from India. Still, with 3 classes and an additional warm up session before the road test, Krisna made me pass the Road Test. He is a very committed individual. His instructions are not only to make you pass the road test, but also to make you a safe driver. He exactly knows what the road test examiner looks for. I will recommend U-PASS to anyone looking for driver licensing.

Krisna is a great teacher, if it was not for him, I would have failed the test for sure. Even though I drive since 2003, I had so many bad habits that I didn't even realize. I would suggest to everyone, even if you think to be an expert driver, to go and have at least 4 driving lessons before the test.

Great experience.. I was new to the country and Krisna identified all the gaps and help me fix them flawlessly. Pre-exam session was the most important because he explained all the points i should be concentrating upon during the exam. He focused not just on passing the exam but also being a safe and skilled driver which matters the most. I passed by test in a matter of 1 month (10 sessions). I would recommend Upass strongly if you want to be a skilled driver and also pass your exam.

Krishna is not a good instructor. He gets frustrated really quick, might even raise his voice (NOT yell or harass), and would assume you already know the rules. Not at all recommend for people new to Canadian roads. He won't make the learning fun and use too much of his break. That way you don't get an idea of when and where to stop. I took three lessons from him. Initially I thought his lil aggressive style is what I need but then I talked to my friends and realized there are numerous things that he did not share with me prior to the lesson and while driving when i would make a mistake he would act like duh! Why did you do this and I was like you never taught me this or even mentioned it during our conversation. I think he recently got into teaching and doesn't understand the psyche or common mistakes learners do. Lessons would be 55 minutes instead of an hour but that is not a big deal i guess. he taught me things when I asked him but never gave any suggestions from his side. He is too professional which might not work for everyone. Hope that helps.

So, I am rather suprised to see only 6 reviews as this is certainly the BEST driving school in the area. It is managed by a father-son duo who both equally excel in teaching how to drive correctly in BC. I took all my driving lessons from Partish (son). I wouldn't be exaggerating when I say that he is the sole reason that i got my Class 5 license. This school was recommended to me by a friend who cleared her class 5 license and took her lessons from Krishna (father). What I liked about them: 1. Partish was always on time for my classes. 2. They covered all the aspects that I was tested on. 3. They are super patient and won't rush you. 4. I took a couple of lesson from the other drivings schools before them. None of them even came close to the way these guys taught me. 5. I took the road test on their car which was quite beneficial to me as I got a 45 min driving practice before my exam. I recommend this school big time if you are looking to ace your test in the first go. Also, they are one of the most affordable schools out there.

I did 6 lessons with another driving school but still did not have enough confidence taking my N test. After 5 more lessons with Krisna I managed to pass my N test the first time I took it! He is very clear with instructions and asks critical thinking questions during the lessons to really get you to practice the "see-think-do" etiquette for driving safely. Definitely recommend lessons with Krisna!

Passed 1st try .had 7 1hr lessons .learned what icbc expects driver's to know for test .took me for a lesson right before my test and covered most of the exact streets I would be driving on my test .so there was no surprises .very affordable and worth every penny .thanks for getting me ready for everything I would cover on the test

I needed to get my BC driver's license, and since there is no bilateral agreement between Canada and Finland I had to complete a knowledge and road test for that matter (for some nationalities it's possible to just exchange the license without any tests). I chose the "car rental for road test"- package where we had a good 45min warm-up before the actual road test. Krisna was extremely helpful, I got some great tips for the road test and he pointed out a few habits I've picked up throughout the 10 years of driving (e.g. using one hand to steer), which would have definitely made me fail on the road test. We quite much drove the same route as what I then drove in the road test. With Krisna's help I was able to pass the road test on first try. I would definitely recommend U-PASS for anyone in need of driving lessons or a road test package as in my case. Plus their rates are the best!

Passed my class 5 driving test in 1st Attempt. Went to krishna highly recommended from a friend. Took 6 classes at Burnaby with Krishna. Krishna can be a bit intimidating to start off but all he is doing is getting you ready for the actual driving test. Frankly, there are just too many rules to remember and he cant really do anything other than correct your driving at every turn. His car is really nice. He will give you very helpful pointers. After being taught by him, I am sure your actual driving test will be extremely smooth. He has become a good friend now :P

I completed ten 1 hour sessions with Krisna and can confidently say that he is a very good instructor. He helps you with a lot of tips the examiner would be looking at during the test as well as covers all of the road test routes. You would also learn on the Toyota Prius which I felt was so much better than the Toyota Corolla available at most other schools. I would definitely recommend U-Pass, thank you Krisna!!

Krisna is a very good driving instructor. He is tough and strict, but if you can reach his expectations, you will pass your road test. I have failed my Class 7 road test a few times before taking lessons with him, and finally passed it after taking around 8 lessons. Stellar experience being coached by Krisna. Pros: 1. Very professional. 2. Will help you raise the bar of your driving skills quickly. 3. His feedback is on-point and will stick with you during your road-test. Cons: 1. He's blunt. Don't expect molly-coddling. You may not like his approach if you are the sensitive kind and feel hurt easily. But it was precisely this aspect which made me improve my game significantly in 3 classes with him. Would I recommend his classes? Absolutely - without a doubt. He helped me clear my Class 5 road-test in one take.
