I went through two different instructors at this driving school after an administrative shuffle and neither one of them really helped me. They were both quite mean and shouted a bit. They both also had a habit of slamming on the brakes when you try applying the brakes to stop at a stop sign. They don't even give you the chance to learn. I would not recommend this driving school.

My driving instructor, while knowledgeable, actually made me not like driving. I hated it. Severe lack of praise and a lot of constant yelling and telling me almost everything I did was wrong. Like I said, he knew what he was doing but maybe just lacked the teaching skills to help me grow as a driver and enjoy driving. It was also hard to arrange my last few lessons since he would text me, I'd reply and he wouldnt answer me(this happened 3 times over 3 weeks before I could actually book a lesson). I am not the only person I know who had this problem. I spent a lot of time practicing after my lessons to actually learn in a comfortable environment, and now one month after my final lesson I am holding a near perfect G2 road test. The in class was great and I learned most of what I know there, maybe I just got unlucky with my in-car instructor.

I e-mailed Mike for a one-hour driving session to prepare for my G-test. He replied within 24 hours and made it easy to book an appointment. BY FAR the best driving instructor I've dealt with. Very informative and confident in his teaching ability. By the end I felt very prepared for my test. I ended up passing my test with flying colours! I may also add that the price of the single lesson (in my own vehicle was extremely reasonable). Thank you, Mike!

My wife took two one-hour lesson's from Mike himself ( cannot comment on other instructors at school) and he was a great teacher and mentor and confidence booster. She passed her G flying colors. I was in the back seat during lessons and the way he taught was great, would fix in one's mind to take care while driving. The lesson was late by few minutes and he charged less being honest that he did not do full hour. I agree that I never got a reply to email so do not try contacting by email. He replied to texts/phones quite late too but I assume he was busy with lessons. Even when I called to thank him after the test he called me back after 2 days but was glad that I called him to Thank. So thankyou again! I would recommend him definitely.

So far I have had nothing but great expernce with Mike's driving school. The instructors were expernce and clearly explained all the material. I wish more school teachers were this good.

Strongly recommended, there isn’t better place to learn how to drive properly than here. Instructors are nice, friendly, professionals, super clear when give you instructions and patients. They won’t let you down and you will achieve your goals with their help for sure. If I could give Szabi’s school a million stars I would.

I had gotten a recommendation to takes mikes driving school and after the first day in class it was the worst decision of my life. Poor management and organisation i paid everything and still was not able to get registered because of the lack of organization skills and the communication between teacher. Michelle was by far a great instructor and tried to help me through the whole process. yet i started first week of July on the fast track and did lessons twice a week and i am still waiting 2 months later to plan a date to get my G2 because of them. Overall a Frustrating process and Mike, Sabi and jim have create a big waste of my time and i am still waiting on them to process me. Therefore i would STRONGLY recommend ANY other driving school other than this one.

I don't whether my bad experience was the fault of the school as a whole or if I just got a bad instructor. The in class lessons were fine, but the in car lessons were a disaster for me. I started lessons with little knowledge on cars and driving and needed to learn a lot from my instructor. However, when I didn't know something my instructor was extremely rude about it. She yelled at me multiple times during my first lesson and even expressed that she liked to "put the fear of driving" into her students. the first lesson ended with me in tears. keep in mind I was 16 at the time and I had only been behind the wheel a handful of times before. I ended up needing a break from lessons all together and ended up switching instructors. After the first lesson she promised me she would change her attitude in our lessons but she failed to do so. She gave unclear instructions and would yell and swear at me when I would get confused. 2 years later I still don't have my license and I still hate driving.

Recently passed my G2 driving test thanks to great lessons and guidance that this place provided. I had the pleasure of having Szabi as my instructor and the entire experience was fantastic! He was very professional and friendly and went above and beyond even with all the problems caused by covid to make sure that I was fully prepared and ready for my G2. I couldn't recommend any other place!

My daughter failed her first attempt at G licence, so I wanted a pre test "tuneup" prior to her next attempt. We were right up against licence expiry, so it would have been very serious if she did not pass. We booked 2 sessions for 4 days prior to the test. My daughter said the lessons were excellent, very worthwhile, and the instructor was very thorough and clear, concentrating on the areas that she required practice. My daughter passed with flying colours, the examiner said her driving was as good as any he has seen in years. We attribute alot of this to our 'tune-up' from Mike. In addition, correspondence setting up these appointments was always prompt, and Mike was very flexible with times etc. An excellent experience & I would recommend to everyone.

Mike's Driving School is a pretty good place filled with people who know what they're doing. I started the lessons a few months ago and ended them not too long ago. The in class lessons were fine and straightforward and all the instructors seem to know their stuff, but it's the in car lessons that give this place a five stars. I got a driving instructor named Michelle. She seems to have been mentioned in a 1 star review, but I can say for certain that she is actually a great instructor. She is much like a drill sergeant (likely to do with her actual experience as such) in how she teaches. BUT if you show her patience and a willingness to learn, she will open up and become an EXCELLENT teacher. I had NO experience in the car before her teaching me, and I was a nervous punk most of the time. But Michelle would always reassure me and each lesson I got better and better with her guidance. Despite us learning around Brantford, I had to take my test in Hamilton. Despite it being a harder test, along with being COMPLETELY unfamiliar with those roads, I passed on my first try because of her teaching methods.

I'd recommend Mike's to everyone. All the instructors are pleasant, patient and truly nice people. Very accommodating and assuring. My instructor, Sabi, was beyond helpful and extremely patient with me knowing that I was a new and terribly nervous driver. I went in thinking they would get frustrated with how inexperienced I was but I never once got a hint of impatience. Definitely a good experience!

Mike is an amazing driving instructor, one of the best in my opinion. Mike is very calm which makes it really easy to understand his techniques and to gain confidence to be on the road. I didn't have much driving confidence which can be a danger while driving! Only after 2 one hour driving lessons and an hour practice before my G2 test I passed and have a huge confidence boost for driving. Thanks a lot Mike! Kudos to you.

I took my in car lessons with Phelomena and she was great, very patient, and overall an amazing instructor. I definitely recommend her and Mike's Driving School. Money well spent!
