I took an ACLS course with guru. The instructor, Tanya, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to go through every detail, and made sure each person understood the concepts before our practical component. Guru has a very convenient option where you can do the book learning at home, and only show up one day for the practical component. I have never seen this before and it saved me a day this weekend! The owner is very friendly and clearly passionate about his business, I will definitely be signing up with guru for PALS.

I needed to take First Aid for school, and so that is how Guru and I came about. I felt safe, it was clean and socially distanced. You get to fill out all of your forms online so there is minimal touching. Tyler himself, super knowledgeable, and super real. There is no fluff in this course, you are learning what to do in REAL LIFE and Tyler makes sure you understand. Don't feel as though any question is a silly question, Guru makes sure to have you understand and even will provide examples. Be ready for a little bit of class participation! This is was my second time completing my certification and I can most definitely say the first time around- boring- this time, engaged and left confident! 5+ stars Tyler and Guru Training!

Tanya is an excellent ACLS instructor, she creates a fun upbeat class. Tanya prepares each student for a possible scenario that may occur in one's work setting, thus ensuring we are confident should one face a critical situation. She communicates effectively ensuring that all her students understand the importance of the interventions that would be implemented. Tanya is easy going, fun and most of approachable. I would totally recommend her for any health care training!! I had also taken BLS with Tyler, and Tyler brings is passion, is drive and energy to the class. He creates scenarios for not only the students but himself. He has the best quality equipment, mannequins etc. As soon as you walk into a Guru Training centre you are welcomed and treated like family, tea, coffea and snacks are offered, Tyler is very generous and clearly hard working. One more thing the prices are reasonable and what you learn has meaning, rest assured you will walk out confident knowing exactly what to do in an emergency situation when you learn from Tanya and Tyler !!
