Both in class and in car learning was exceptional experiences, in class training was with a teacher named Zafir and in car training was with Fareed both teachers were very knowledgeable and easy going, in class Zafir made the learning experience fun for everyone and went over everything from basics to problem I'll run into in the future, I learned what things I'll always want in my car as well. In car training was beyond my expectations as well, Fareed was a great teacher and very thorough in every aspect of driving, I got my g2 with ease thanks to both of these teachers!

I took Fanshawe's driving package with 10 hours in-class, and 15 hour in-car lessons. Zaffir is an excellent in-class instructor! Attending the in-class lesson really helped in preparaing to drive on the road. I had two driving instructors - first Ghousia (who was great, however, she couldn't continue during the pandemic). I practiced the most with my second instructor - Osama Al Burini. He is an amazing teacher - punctual, professional, patient, and gives factual feedback. I trained >10 hours with him in-car. Thanks to his training, I passed my G test on first attempt. I highly recommend Fanshawe Driving School, Ghousia, and Osama!

I totally enjoy my course with Hassan Jalil as my instructor. He’s a gentle teacher who provided me proper and professional instructions. Highly recommended! The time was really flexible and I could book my 1h lesson with him whenever I had time. (Or maybe 2h a time, it’s totally up to you). Hassan paid careful attention to driving skills and kept me up to date with my progress. I didnt know how to drive before, but with him 10 hours were enough to get my g2 today with first attempt only and I’m still hyped about it!

Fanshawe driving school is the reason I easily passed my road test the first time. Zafir is a great teacher and guy who really wants you to learn and does a great job teaching. But my in car instructor Fardin is so dope. Makes sure you absolutely know everything you can and is a total bro to hang out with too. One of the best teachers I’ve ever had in anything and I totally recommend him if you want to have an easy time with your road test!

I would say that I had the best experience during my driving lessons because of my wonderful and amazing instructor Asmae, she’s very professional, calm, and really knows how to point out your weaknesses when it comes to driving, which helped me a lot during my G2 exam, she was been very patient with me and thought me all the possible ways so that I can pass my drive test. Aside from that she’s not afraid to give her trust when it comes to your driving skills once she knew that you’re already good with what you’re doin. I had Hassan as my driving instructor and I gotta say he was amazing. I started out with him with 0 experience in driving and he taught me everything I needed to learn to drive safely on these roads in the 10 hours I had with him. He is a great instructor and has so many tips like how to correctly park on your first try or parallel park without any difficulty. He puts in a lot of effort to teach you how to correctly drive so you could get a license on your first try. And cause of that I was able to get my licence on my first try!

My G2 test experience with Fanshawe driving school has been great. I just took 5 hour in car lesson with roadtest package. Mrs.Ghousia Mam were my instructor. I was going for My G2 drive test. She taught me to drive in canadian method, and with every detailed instruction. She is really a very good teacher if you want to learn quick . I can not say enough good things about Fanshawe Driving School. For my in class lessons I had Zafir who was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate and patient. He would answer any questions a student had with detail and made everything in the class fun while keeping us engaged. For my 10hrs of in car lessons I had Zia. Zia was just like Zafir in the classroom - he was knowledgeable about the roads in London, he was enthusiastic about me learning to drive and told me it's a privilege to drive which I took to heart. He was also very patient with me and took the time to explain anything I had questions about while driving. Before I took my G road test I wanted to do just a refresh lesson on the G2 test and the highway segment of the G test. I called the school and was paired with Asmae for my 1hr session which cost $45. Asmae showed me the route for the G test along with every tip and trick available - I was nervous for the test but after the 1hr session with her I was much more confident. I would give this school 10 stars if I could and I recommend it to any new driver trying to get their G license.

I've had both Qamar and Asmae instruct me for my G2 test; Qamar helped me in starting out with the basics of driving on the road and with maneuvers such as parking and 3.0 turns, but I eventually started learning under Asmae, who helped me fix mistakes I was still doing, and helped me have more confidence on the road. My driving instructor Ferdin was amazing! The way he breaks down the moves, like parallel parking or three point turn, into simple steps makes it so much easier to understand and to execute. If there is a driving school I would highly recommend to the new drivers of London, it would be Fanshawe Driving School and let me tell you why. Before I wrote my G1 written exam, I took the interest of taking Zafir's in class sessions to help me prepare. These classes were set up fairly well on the weekends and helped to balance my hectic school schedule. They were very helpful in emphasizing the key information needed to drive safely on the road while making the class interactive, humorous, and very applicable to real life situations. In just a few sessions, I was able to get a perfect score on my G1 written exam and was able to move on to taking my in-car sessions with Irfan and Zafir. These two driving instructors were two huge contributors to me passing my G2 road exam with flying colours. Although they both have very different teaching styles, I gradually gained the confidence I needed behind the wheel while also learning the art of defensive driving. Not only were they both highly knowledgeable in the proper driving mechanics, both were very generous with their time making sure that I was 110% prepared for anything that may happen on the road. Lastly, I want to thank the Fanshawe Driving School office ladies who have been nothing but pleasant in providing my dad and I with excellent customer service. Thank you, Fanshawe Driving School!

Once I was enrolled in the in-class sessions with Zafir, I was taught everything that was needed to know in such a fun and enjoyable way. I passed my G1 exit test on December 8th on the first attempt after completing the driver’s ed course and 10hours in-car training with Fareed. As a new immigrant with very little driving experience from back home, driving in Canada was scary for me. I didn’t think I was going to get my G2 with just 10hours of in-car training, especially after hearing all the London DriveTest horror stories. I have no family in Canada, and was not able to have extra practice at home, but Fareed did the magic in just 10hours! He was very kind, extremely patient and detailed. Fareed was very calm, patient, kind and encouraging throughout all of my lessons. I re-gained my confidence in driving back after a bad experience with Asmae, another driving instructor. In the first few lessons, I had a good grasp on how to be a safe and observant driver. The rest of the lessons were to gain experience and get ready for Driver's Test. He’s very flexible when it came to booking lessons which helped a lot with my busy schedule. I have already recommended my friends and co-workers to ask for Fareed when they are beginning their driving lessons. I’m so glad that I got Fareed; he is the definition of an ideal driving instructor. For Asmae, I felt that she got frustrated easily, had unusual expectations for a first-time driver, impatient, strict and difficult to book lessons with. I didn't have a lot of free time due to my work, but when I did have time, I would need to message her a few times to even see if she was available. After the 10th hour, I only knew how to go straight, barely knew how to turn, and the last lesson with her was my first attempt at reverse parking. I'm glad I asked for another instructor when I bought more hours. Even if I continued with her and was able to pass the Driver's Test, I would have no confidence in myself as a driver as I would question myself the entire time.

I had a total of 3 instructors which was a little downside of problems, but Zafir made sure to correct it and finally found an Instructor that was amazing! Updated review after this: I had really high expectations from the reviews here but with the experience that I have had, I am now dissatisfied. I buy the 6 hour practice classes package on Sunday and I got assigned Qamar as my In-car instructor. He only contacted me really late on Monday via text messages and so far it has been really difficult to schedule my lessons because he only replies to me almost once a day. Is hasn't being fluent our chat and I'm really disappointed because I wanted to start my lessons as soon as possible. Today is Thursday, 4 days after I purchase my lessons and I am only book for one lesson on Nov. 3 which is almost one week away. I kind of prefer now to just cancel my payment and lessons or I would even ask to change my instructor if possible, maybe with Fareed that he has had good reviews. *Update* : they contact me the next day that I shared this post and they were helpful to schedule the rest of my lessons. My instructor is great and I am happy with his support to improve my driving skills. Thanks.

Honestly, I decided to take a DE course because I need to get my G2 sooner. I thought the course was going to be boring, in fact, the course is kind of boring; however, the instructor makes it so interesting. You will not even feel when the time goes by. Without his advice and tips for the road test I don't think I would have passed. Very calm and collected person, even on the road test day he was making sure I was not stressed and motivating me to do my best. Our focus of complaint lies on administration and not on the instructors. I asked multiple times for a female instructor for my wife. They tried to book her with anyone else, so I refused and leaned towards a refund. Obviously I was reassured they will have a female instructor available. Then they cancelled the appointment with the lady instructor and rebooked with a male. I wasn't aware of this change until the new instructor confirmed. The way I see it, admin couldn't care less for the customer service. This is not a shortcoming from the instructors' end but more of an administrative personnel (unless they naps each other's clients). If you want good service, dodge pretty ads and silky words, be perceptive in how they handle customer care. Have a great day everyone ---Update: Alqadhi the instructor was professional and knowledgeable. Customer service still haven't called back. This further proves my point. Good job guys ???? (joking) --- Update: Zafir called me, he is the gentleman in charge. What a pleasant talk. He not only understood there was an error on their end, but willing to fix this. That is the best mindset one can have. We all make mistakes in life, it's what we learn from it and how we fix it that makes us grow further. ☕

REEM is very knowledgeable about Ontario’s traffic laws and she ensures to share all the needed information with her trainees even the smallest details that other trainers might not share and which are sometimes essential in passing the road test. Initially I signed up for drivers ed with a different driving school. They taught me absolutely nothing and my driving instructor didn't seem to care that I wasn't doing so well. Basically, they just took my money and ran. Fanshawe Driving School on the other hand is probably the best driving school experience you can get if you live in London, ON. Luckily, I had my G2 booked well in advance so that my instructor, Zafir could correct all of the mistakes and bad habits I had previously learned while driving. Zafir is also one of the most helpful and accommodating instructors that you can get. He isn't just here for a cash grab, instead, he actually cares a lot if you pass and takes it to heart when you fail. If you want to become a good driver I'd definitely recommend Zafir as an instructor or at least Fanshawe for driving in general.

Had the pleasure to learn from 3 instructors Zafir (20 hours in class) - great speaker and told lots of fun stories, very knowledgeable on all regulations, made the inclass experience fun. Tekwimder (3 hours of in-car sessions) - good communicator, lots of tips on driving at night, help me to regain many driving skills as I haven't driven for a long time. Also, he is an honest guy, help me to transfer to another instructor once he found out that my road test schedule is in conflict with his other students. Fareed (12 hours in-car + 1 hour refresher + road test) - got to be one of the most experienced instructors out there. Very patient, skillful and full of tips, 90 degree reverse parking and parallel parking seems so easy if you follow his instructions completely. Best of all, he will take you to both possible road test routes and show you where the "tricky spots" are and teach you how to deal with them. I pass my road test with ease because of all the tips he provided. If you decided to appoint him as your instructor, I would suggest you to book at least 5-6 hours so you can fully absorb all the tips and familiar with both test routes. He is a very busy guy so you might need to be a bit more flexible on lessons booking

I got 14 hours of driving lesson in this school. My instructor, Shazia Mangla, did an amazing job preparing me for my G2 test. Even though it was not on the test, she took me on highways which really prepared me to drive anywhere. The lessons she taught me was really great because now I got the habbit of always focus on the roads and the surronding to drive safely. I passed the test perfectly due to this, though I did a minor mistake on parallel parking due to nervousness but everything else I did really well. I just recently got my G2 with Asmae, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! She was THE absolute best!! She teaches you with the same care, patience and sternness, that she would her own child. I told her my test date and she assessed where my skill level was at and recommended how many hours of practice I would need to be ready for the road test. In those few hours she taught me so much and imparted so much wisdom, that I won't soon forget. Above everything else Asmae always stressed being observant and safe on the road and taking on that responsibility when you get behind the wheel. I am perplexed and suspicious of reviews for this driving school. Twice I have been behind one of their instructors with a student driving needlessly in the left lane of a two lane street for extended periods of time. This should be unacceptable from any driver, but lane discipline should be top priority of an instructor once out with a student on two lane roads. UPDATE on both occasions it during peek traffic times on main arteries and for extended periods. The first was Wonderland all the way from Southdale up to Oxford. The second, and very recent Time was Oxford from West of Richmond driving east to Adelaide then north on Adelaide until just before Kipps lane when the vehicle finally moved into the proper lane to turn at Kipps. There is no excusing this sort of driving, are you teaching your students to be good drivers or to pass a road test?

I passed my g2 test on my first try, and it was not possible without my instructor Mo! For the past year I have tried practicing with private instructors and it did not go well at all. The difference between FDS and hiring a private instructor was like night and day. Patience is an understatement for Mohammed; he is able to remain calm, gives lots of positive encouragement and critiques where needed. He is able to effectively analyze your mistakes and provide suggestions to improve. I was very, very nervous and unmotivated after my last two instructors told me there was no hope for me. Within one lesson, Mohammed taught me all I needed to know about driving and with the next lesson I was already practicing on route. He was able to pick out my strengths and weaknesses within minutes. My confidence soared and within the month I spent practicing with him, I was prepared for my g2 test. Comparing that to how I spent a year practicing with private instructors only to be deemed hopeless, blows my mind. I went for the private instructors to save money but the quality of FDS is worth your buck. I want to thank FDS for sending Mohammed my way and for this pass on my g2! My drive test examiner wanted me to tell my instructor he did a great job! I highly recommend Mo as your instructor, this guy could teach a goldfish how to drive if given the opportunity! - Farhana :)

She was amazing at everything she did, from the attitude to her experience with students. I had struggles with driving and i tried different instructions before but i never learned until i worked with Reem. She taught me every thing i needed to know in a short period of time, she has a really good strategy and technique that she uses with students that will no matter what make you pass the test. I did a good job passing the G2 in one time. I still keep remembering and I think it was stuck in my head, when my instructor instruct me to keep the speedometer at 60 then 40 as one of my issue is over speeding. In my 1st day I was so amazed, he gave me a lot of tips in 2 hrs such parallel driving, reverse parking, shoulder check and changing lanes. My daughter took the course here at your driving school. Her in-class lessons were great, she was able to learn lots from the instructor Zafir in class. Her in-car instructor was not that great. There is tons of stuff she did not learn that she should of. Such as highway driving, country driving, parking... Now she has to spend more money to learn how to drive on the highway before her G test. She also doesn't feel 100% confident on the roads. We are very disappointed with the in-car lessons.

I came into this with a basic knowledge of driving rules and minimum vehicle experience . My instructor Hassan helped to make sure every lesson I had with him was full of lessons and valuable information . Hassan helped me over the course of a couple months go from a no knowledge nervous driver to a competent, confident driver on the road. Due to Hassan’s ability as a driving instructor I was able to pass my driving test the first time around with no mistakes . If you still are unsure of where to go for driving school. I can’t say much else to convince you other than if you choose Fanshawe Driving school you are giving yourself one of the best opportunities available to get your license and come out a better driver .Good luck .

Update on my review December 18, 2020: I just got my full G yesterday, and I wanted to write an additional positive review to encourage Fanshawe driving school, Zafir and Reem. This time I took only a couple of lessons with Reem and Zafir before my road test, and I thankfully passed easily. Reem is such a kind lady who’s super professional and I was so thrilled to take lessons with her, she has a very comfortable teaching style, and she’s also very friendly. Zafir was as usual, the best driving instructor anyone could ever ask for, he has that magic teaching style that is just unique to him, this man is gifted I swear! If you need to get your full G, you must contact Reem or Zafir for sure! You’ll pass easily and you’ll also continually learn the “art” of driving like they like to call it, they literally teach you the art of it! It was a pretty nice learning experience in Fanshawe Driving school ... The course was so interesting, clear, so beneficial, and most importantly professional, the lady knew exactly what she was talking about, and I can say that I actually learnt a lot from their course. Then comes the driving practice with the instructor, my in car instructor was Zafir and long story short he is the best ... Really really really patient, and I mean it.. My first time in a car behind the steering wheel was with him, and I was always sooo scared, stressed and anxious, all the time, And most of the time I wasn't a gd listener, but he was soooo patient and nice and kind and most of all he's got an awesome sense of humor that always used to decrease the stress and anxiety... I can actually state that Zafir made me a driver "from scratch" LOL thank you Zafir ! Plus, they make sure that you are 100% ready to go for a drive test, and most of all that you are 100% ready to share the road safely and responsibly with other drivers and that was awesome as well ... Best place to study driving, I come here with 50 minutes ride to get the best driving knowledge in London. I passed G2 last week, so I add more about my in-car learning experience here. My instructor is Jajal who is really professional in teaching driving. I am new to Canada, and don`t know the traffic rules here at all at the first. But with the Zafir and Jajal`s patient teaching and prof teaching, I passed the G2 test for the first time!!! I really appreciate how they teach me safest and best driving knowledge, every money spent on Fanshawe Driving learning is really worth it!

I just pass the Full G test in my first try today !!! I spent total 10 hrs driving with my instructor Zafir Ahmed. Zafir is an amazing instructor, I get the reference from my best friend. Zafir is very very nice person and pay attention to any details even you miss one mirror check or blind spot check. Zafir is the best instructor I can find in London, he trained you in the way not only for passing road test but more for SAFE Driving in your life. In the beginning, I was very worried about my G test because I haven't been driving for two years (after I got my G2). And I did a lot of mistakes in the first class with him. Zafir is very responsible and encourage me a lot. He even did not want my money until I show him I am a good driver. He said "You don't have to pay me until you pass G test". Today, after I passed G test, I went to his office which is Fanshawe Driving School to pay my bill in a lump sum. He also invited me to his class share the experience with the students. I was very lucky to have him coaching me and I wish the people who nervous about driving can pass their G test too. Definitely Recommend !!! Best Instructor Ever!!! Great! My driving instructor was Reem. I had only 2 weeks before I left for university, and Reem tried her best to make room in her schedule whenever possible. We finished all of our lessons in time. I started off having never sat in the driver's seat, and in a few lessons I could comfortably drive during rush hour traffic. The curriculum covers everything I needed to know about driving safely, and challenging manoeuvres like parallel parking we're broken down into easy steps.

Today, I had amazing one hour driving class with instructor Mohammed. I got to learn everything in detail from him for G Road test in only one driving class.
