Dad's driving school is the best place to get lessons from, if you've never driven a car the instructors are very polite and understanding to teach you the right way especially. 10/10 would recommend this for all new drivers that are looking to get there G2 in the first try! Worked with me lots before my G2 exam helping me get in the right mindset to calm down and lessen my worries! Works with payment plans if need be!

Stay away, not worth the discounted price. We sent 2 of our children here, same complaints for both of them....that is not a coincident. Instructor on the phone constantly, did not practice any reversing & very little parking. Only took them on side streets near Activa, therefore they didn't get much experience with lights & high traffic roads. Twice we went for the in class lessons and he never showed up. Then only had them do 1 day of class and said he would give them the hours. To teens this is great, but this is not what we paid for. He even took my son to Guelph to his church and made him wait in the car while he went inside for 40 minutes!!! Please do not go here, now we are looking for new schools so they can get good quality lessons! NOT WORTH THE CHEAP PRICE, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Tahir is a great guy. He helped my husband a lot. We got a last-minute G2 Road test. He gave my husband some hours to practice the day before the road test and He went with him for the road test. Tahir enhanced my husband's confidence and he was an amazing person willing to help in short notice. They really delay your drive test. The lady here gave me the test date for 2 months later and kept on telling me that she is trying to find a earlier date for me. One day i tried myself and was able to book the road test for 2 days later. Instructor was really good and patient. Good for lessons and certification but book your test on your own dont relay on them.

Sadly I had a poor experience recently. I need to schedule appointments weekly as I have a five month old and need a baby sitter, which can change. Although our times were often set for a specific time, the driver was a half hour early. I expressed I cannot guarantee I will be ready early. After this happening almost every lesson, I had to cancel an appointment last minute, as he was early, and I had just rushed back from the doctors with my daughter. I was too flustered to continue with the lesson that day. When I asked to reschedule he never answered. This was unfortunate for me because it took me years to decide to do driving lessons and a lot of courage. Poor experience overall with payments, booking, and distracted driving.

Should be ZERO stars if we could ... Very unprofessional run business! Scheduled many months (September?) ago to do driving school for our daughter over Christmas break, and they just now call Saturday morning to say they dont have enough for Mondays class. Really??? What a waste of our time waiting and now our daughter has been left in a lurch due to their poor planning and communication ... absolutely pathetic and inexcusable behaviour on their part as a business!!! This is extremely unprofessional for anyone operating a business as we have planned out our break around this and now they provide absolutely no business day notice for us to attempt to schedule others in an attempt to make things work. As a business they at the very least should have provided a week or two notice that they were having issues filling their classes and gave us a chance to make another time work with their schedule ... not impressed at all and a waste of our time and resources ... will never use or recommend these clowns to anyone. Stay away and use another driving school as this isn't properly run as a business!

Overall when it comes to taking in new students and arranging driving lessons considering student’s availability, Dad’s driving school is very co operative. Their price is affordable as well. Only thing I didn’t like about their instructor was that he kept himself busy on his phone most of the time while taking driving lessons. Regardless they are better than other driving schools in KW. I went for Sara’s KW driving school earlier and that lady took a deposit of $200 from me and never refunded the amount though she was unable to provide me training. Had to file a complaint against her. Whereas with Dad’s I never had any issue.

Please do not go to this place. Reason: 1. The instructor( I won't name anyone personally here) is cunning. 2. He will demotivate you to such a level, that you end up paying him whatever he demands. 3. His words for me were " You will fail the exam, you don't know how to drive, I don't believe you have ever driven car in your country, take my complete course only then you can pass) So I left his classes just 5 days before my drive test, and moved to another teacher ( Sara KW Car driving school), who said and I quote "you drive nicely". And I passed with not even a single error during road test. So now who is trustworthy here, Dads Driving instructor? or Sara's KW Driving school.. My request to all immigrants, please use your money wisely and not on people like these.

Worst driving school ever! The driving instructor, Tahir, was always on his cell barely paying attention to his students, rude, and cheated on the hours. I first came into the class on Sept 3, he took my money and without the course, he took two of his students to start the driving lessons (which apparently included in his two of the ten hour practice) - all before learning the ways of the road. I'm so disappointed and made a complaint on their service to hopefully comply with my short of the stated driving practices. Overall, I had 3 lessons with only 9 hours (that included the day he said was cancelled). On top of that, I'm still waiting for my extra hour I never got and had to pay for my certificate which was implied that came with the package, but at Service Ontario I had to pay extra. This school doesn't deserve any stars!

Drove by and saw someone training someone new. Maybe start with showing someone how to drive in a parking lot before they go onto a main road, because going 10-20km/hr on a 60km/hr road and stopping 4 car lengths away from another car sporadically with a hard stop is not acceptable. Driving school is about preventing car crashes not starting one.

Dad's driving school is the best place to get lessons from, if you've never driven a car the instructors are very polite and calm to teach you the right way especially Tahir who is a great help. 10/10 would recommend this for all new drivers that are looking to get there G2 in the first try!

I can recommend Tahir. He is an excellent instructor who knows the important details to pass the road test. He taught me what I should focus and helped me refine my skills. I already had experience driving, however I got a Road Test appointment at the last moment for the next day. I contacted many schools and no one was willing to help with such a short notice. However Tahir was willing to go that extra mile. He told me he was going to accommodate his schedule to make it happen and provided me 2 hours of practice late in the afternoon. Next day he went with me to the road test and I passed.

The guy Tahir cheated on hours, he taught me 5 hours and took 10 hours fee, the guy is a fraud, he did this to many customers, he is not receiving my phone,enough is enough. I am taking legal action on this guy. I made a complain with ministry of transportation, for dad driving school and Tahir Jamil. Avoid them at all cost.

Had an amazing experience with Tahir! From the first phone call all the way to exam day (roughly a month), Tahir has been extremely helpful, very accommodating, always positive and noticed every single mistake (even when I thought he isn’t looking due to phone call). He did focus majority on driving itself and parallel parking, which is perfect because on the exam that’s exactly what they checked. He always makes time for his new and existing students even when you need an ASAP lesson at 5am. Passed the test and made a friend- highly recommend!

I have been putting off getting my licence for a long time due to fear. I had a friend who did Tahirs class and said i should try it so i decided to give it a shot. I was extremely nervous but went anyway. Tahir was so excellent in explaining things in the classroom and so accommodating with times to drive. When he said dont be nervous its easy part of me laughed because i thought he was crazy but he was right. He explains things in detail and helps you be very safe. He has alot of patience and helps you learn very fast. I am so greatful for him. He made time for me to be able to practise more before my test to make sure i was ready. He made sure i knew everything i needed to and made me feel so confident in myself. His price if very good for the service he offers. He is extremely knowledgeable and i would recommend anyone take his class especially. He is truly an angel and im so glad he is a driving teacher!

0 Stars!! 1. The driving instructor, Tahir, was always on his phone calling and texting and not paying attention to his students and cheated on the hours. 2. He's super rude when talking on the phone 3. He finished the in class training 30 min - 1 hour early and didn't teach anything in class. Made us watch videos and then went to go call his friends for 20 minutes 4. He is not flexible in his hours; he only let me drive at 5:30 or 6 AM!! Who is going to learn to drive when there is absolutely no traffic?! 5. He never brought me on the highway (supposed to be taught in this class) or practiced any parking, simply kept driving on straight roads; that's not going to teach anybody anything 6. Always complains about anything and everything (ex. gas prices, weather, moving to Canada)

I went to Dads Driving School for in class lessons and in car practice and as someone who has never driven before I had learned a lot from Tahir in these two weeks of in class lessons and in car driving and I highly recommend those wanting to learn to go to Dads Driving School!

I picked this driving school because of good reviews, unfortunately, really bad experience. Instructor finished in class training 30 minutes before schedule, he left my kids on the king st down town Kitchener at a raining night. We booked 2 hours in car training, he change to 4 hours without notice and took my kids to home depot during the in car training time. If that is why the price of training is cheap, please raise your price and supply quality service.

In class training is very good but road lessons are terrible because Instructors are scheduling 3 hr sessions starting at 6:00am on empty roads. For a new driver it's way too much and very tiring and too much information to absorb. 10 lessons are done in 3 days. I dont recommend this company unless you are in a rush to use your 10 lessions in 3 days.
