Shout out to this school for helping me get my CDL.Big shout out to Jill she turned this none driving bih to a cdl driver she was patient and understanding all you have to do is listen and follow instructions. Never driven Manual ever in my life and her and Don changed that in just a few days. Big thanks to Don as well (eff you Don lol) .thanks again s&s if there any negative comments on this place its BS the instructors are not teachers they instruct you sup to already know how to drive. Keep trucking.

I received my training and CDL in a month and half. The yard training was good. The road training was excellent. The training is what you make of it. If you listen and do what the instructors tell/show you, you will succeed.

School may be good, I didn’t go but they don’t give info or pricing over the phone? I shouldn’t have to drive 40 minutes to just know the price. Probably a sales tatic that’s only in the best interest of the company. Whoever came up with that policy should remove it because I hear good things about this school but coming in for person for a price is ridiculous, do they give certain people different prices? I don’t like it. They just missed out on business.

My experience was not exactly the same as most enrollees. I often used my gender and physical appearance to my advantage. Even then it only had a positive response with certain individuals. My job payed my scholarship and it took a year to get the money. Attending during the fall is probably the best time to go. I am not a fan of excessive heat (from truck engines) & bugs. To add, I have okay copping mechanisms with the socially awkward and umm ... right wing extremists.

Don’t waste your money and Time here I’m currently attending this school at Boarden town location weekend classes they advertised flexible times 7:00am to 4:30pm for weekend but the truth is they close around 1:30pm They have 1 instructor for 20 students,and 3 old breakdown tracks so how much time you’ll get for training? This school is interested in your money not you once you pay them you’re done for getting nothing I’m attending this school because My Amazon has tie ups with this school but now I don’t think so more Amazonian will come to this school they can choose different better school to get CDL Instructors are Egotistical and stubborn and so mean if you asked any questions to them they phill you are arguing to them also more Students and less Trucks they can’t give enough time to the students in Yard out of 3 trucks only one and some time 2 trucks are in working conditions so mostly students trying to learn from another student:( Some students got their CDL from this location after spent more than 6 to 8 months and some they quite because of after 6 to 8 months spent in this school they’re Frustrated of wasting their money and time Because of I wrote the truth on review school Instructors are not giving enough time to me for training and starts trouble to me In yard I asked to help me for pre-tip he denied and told me to do your self I did already so I’ll not do again for you The fact was I’m the only student was present in yard that time And he walked to the seat on bench If there’s Zero or minus star for rating I’ll definitely give -100 star

????I graduated from Smith and Solomon. Don is by far one of the greatest instructors I've come across. He has his way of instilling knowledge into you but if you listen and do what he says, you'll be grateful when you're on the road ALONE with that DMV examiner. Hats when you'll know the value of what he's been teaching you. There's no way you won't keep hearing Don for the rest of your trucking carrier. Great school if you ask me. A little of my opinion tho, the school should invest in more and newer trucks, otherwise, everything'sgood????, I would recommend to anyone.

Place is a cash cow. People in charge inflate their prices for attending this cheaply runned school. Place has a toilet that always stocks up. They stick about 20-25 students with one instructor and a couple of old raggedy trucks in a little yard to learn how to drive. At $4000 a pop. Owners walk away rich while you get a measly trucking job working with greedy trucking companies. Owners here drive luxury cars and laugh all the way to the bank with your hard earned money. They even have fancy advertisements at the DMV for this poorly budgeted school. They get the people mandated by unemployment and have accounts with companies like Amazon showing they somehow have managed to get their hands and influence in/on government contracts. They probably bid for them by contributing to the campaign of corrupt politicians. Who then allow this company to earn millions of dollars in profits for doing absolutely nothing.

If your serious about getting your CDL, and want to pass the NJDMV test...You’ve got to go to Smith and Solomon in Bordentown. Blair,Don,Jill and Tom have the knowledge as instructors and from prior driving careers. They literally give you the keys to begin your trucking career. I’m glad I went and completed the training! Outstanding school for truckers

This place is terrible now that Asia left the company. Instead they got some new woman named Vanessa who pretends to be busy and give people attitude depending how she is feeling. I called several times she only picks up once on purpose then let's the phone ring like 4 more times when I call back. She left the door to the office unlocked when I went into the office building for the school when she had gone home apparently. What would have happened if some crazy guy decided to walk in there. I was going to attend there but after all this it's not worth it at all. Save yourself the money and headache.

Imagine being with 15-16 other people and doing nothing for hours waiting for one turn. Imagine getting one 30 minute turn out of the 10 hour day you are there ... I still go here and I'm on my friends account, I don't want my identity revealed. They have a total of 4 trailers, 1 is broken. 2 are gone on Mon and Wed. That leaves ONE for students to take turns on with 16 other people. This school is a joke. Should have paid attention to the reviews. If you really want to learn to drive a tractor trailer do not go here, You will be sitting for hours doing nothing, you've been warned.

Smith & Solomon is the best choice for a truck school. Tracy who works in admissions is extremely friendly and thorough with making sure you have everything in line to start school. We also bonded over both being Dallas fans! As truck driving is mainly a mans world, me being a woman I feel extremely accepted as everybody else. They are very thorough in teaching and make sure they do everything possible to prepair you to graduate. I definitelt have the up most confidence in Smith and Solomon and would highly recommend anyone to attend!

Listen if u want your CDL go to Smith & Solomon-Bordentown that's where I went and I have mine with all endorsements. Idk why ppl are whining about the staff. I enjoyed the staff. My pleasurable experience began with Tracey in the office then I met the instructors and I learned from them all Blair, Don, Jill , Tom and Juan the couple times I spent with him on the weekend. Big up to Jill for really breaking down to me how to maneuver a truck. If you want to learn the knowledge and experience is there. I can go on but I think I've made my point. This is a good school and the instructors all know what they are doing. The only real variables in your success or failure here will be your ability to understand what they are saying to you and your willingness to learn what they try to teach you. Also, if you are the type to have your feelings hurt by someone correcting you, you should probably just stay out of this industry altogether but that's not a reflection on the school. They will correct you if you are making a mistake but it is for your safety as well as the safety of your fellow students. Overall, a fantastic school and I would go back here for my training again in a heartbeat.

I attended the weekend classes, my instructors Juan, and Don were extremely great, even though they would get on you if you don't listen, it only helps you in the end ????. Training was intense and thorough....Blair and Don wouldn't allow you to take road test until you're truly ready! Vanessa at the front desk and all the instructors were great, from Malcolm in the classroom to AL in the yard and Nick and Don on the road. just graduated from Smith and Solomon. Trust the process and listen to the instructors, you will surely pass the road test. Don is a great instructor when it comes to driving. He would tell you right away what you did wrong on the road, and how to fix it. He puts a lot of pressure on you, so you can learn to do it safe and do it right.

Great school! A good friend of mine went here and advised me to go to this school. Tom, Don, and Blair are excellent teachers with years of experience. Very patient and thorough. I graduated today and passed the first time on my test. Also this school is flexible with your schedule as they offer weekend and weekdays of training. I was even able to work full time and complete the course in a reasonable amount of time. This school is also female friendly, which not many other schools that I have looked into are. If you are considering pursuing a career which acquires you to get your CDL, this is the school to go to. -Amanda

The Bordentown, NJ facility I attended accommodated me in all critical areas of Class A tractor trailer training. All of my instructors (Jill, Tom, and Don) did their level best in preparing me for my MVC examination. The net effect was I passed all required components of the exam after less than three months of training. All in all, a very rewarding experience. Thanks Guys!
