The staff really do care about the safety of the kids and make sure we are comfortable. The classes really interactive and made it easy to understand. They respected our busy schedules and did their best to accommodate. Drives were amazing as the drivers made sure that we were comfortable and gave us a lot of tips in order to become safer drivers. They really care about supporting us and helping us become safe drivers. Would 11/10 recommend ????

My son recently attended New Concept. They are efficient and timely when registering your child. Registration is very easy and there are many classes to choose from. As it is right off of 45 and Washington, it is very convenient for drop off. If anyone works remotely, I would just go down a few stores on the strip mall and work at the coffee shop during class. The instructor is friendly, knowledgeable and make class fun for the kids. He uses current information and videos so that the kids are not bored. My son did not complain once about going to driver's ed class. He is my fourth and the first one to enjoy class! I would highly recommend this school! Lastly, our family went on vacation and missed the final three classes. We were able to easily make up class during the next group of classes.

John is a fantastic operator who is invested in his students. He makes sure his students are prepared to operate their vehicle safely, lawfully, and pass all exams necessary in the state of Illinois.

FANTASTIC SCHOOL!!! Any new drivers looking for schools, I would highly recommend New Concept. It is a bit expensive ($400), but it is well worth the cost. John is a great instructor who can be both funny and serious, which is the perfect combination for a teacher. Also, the state of Illinois requires six (6) hours of behind the wheel training, however, they give you eight (8). Again, it is an absolutely fantastic school.

Classes are good, no any problems with it, but impossible to schedule driving. I try to schedule it within last three month, no progress. You must login in certain day to their system to be able to schedule driving. If miss this day or busy you have to wait again almost a month or so. I am really tired to try to schedule driving lessons. Suggestions, hire more driving instructors or make less classes. I am not recommend this school. PS. On website states, new BTW Schedule will be available 9/10/2018 from 8 AM. I spent another 5 hours to try schedule BTW lessons, NO RESULTS. I have try to schedule BTW lessons since end of JUNE.

My daughter enjoyed this school a lot. John did a good job preparing her for driving on her own. The best thing was that she finished her classroom time in 4 weeks. The addition of the online scheduling for drive times is definitely a plus.

Great Classroom environment and had fun in class while also learning everything I need to know about the road. Scheduling drives was very easy and convenient and the staff was helpful with working around my busy schedule so I could still get my drives done.

I had a fantastic experience. As long as you communicate well with the staff they definitely help you on your journey to get your license. Their new online system is a whole lot better than what they previously were doing. Overall would recommend it to anyone looking for a fair, friendly, and honest place to complete their driver's education.

The classes are great then there comes the scheduled drives. The drives are limited and first come first serve. They need to hire another instructor. You get what you pay for.

I don't like to write a negative review, but this experience has been so horrible that I feel the need to warn other parents. Learning to drive and getting your license should be a positive experience for your kids and that is not what you will get with this company. The biggest challenge is their lack of organization. I don't know if they take on too many students or are doing this as a side job (which would explain why their business hours are only 4:30 - 8:00 PM) but they make scheduling the classes VERY, VERY difficult. The drivers say you can schedule all the driving ahead of time, but then the receptionist who is very rude and talks over you, says they need to be 4-6 weeks in between.. but she can't schedule them 4-6 weeks out because there are too many students. I have asked the owner twice now to call me and he hasn't. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she said "he selects who he does and does not call back, what do you want me to do about it?" I am now going to email him to see if he will respond that way. Please, please steer clear from this school, I would hate for anyone else to go through a similar experience!

New concept is a very great driving school. The staff is very kind and flexible with scheduling. John is an amazing person, and came tbrough with my drives. I started the behind the wheel lessons only 3 months before my birthday. It seemed impossible to fit all them in, but they found a way to accommodate to my schedule, and I was able to get my license on my birthday. Amazing. They truly try and work with you and I am forever grateful I went here. I would 11/10 recommend going here.

There is a lot of driving schools that are in my area, but New Concept Driving School is without any doubt the best one. They offer so many things that other schools do not and it is cheaper than the other competitors. I drove with super friendly staff, such as John, who gave me what I needed for my driver's test. Overall, New Concept Driving School was incredible for me and I'm very glad I chose it over anywhere else.

Sunday class worked great for me, as I had a busy schedule yet this worked around it. The drives were easy to schedule, and even though I initially called them later than I should have, they were able to get me all my drives within a short period of time, and accommodated to fit my schedule, letting me get my license on my birthday. I was with John for all of my drives, and he was wonderful to drive with, providing a lot of useful tips and helping you develop, as well as being incredibly fun to talk and interact with. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation, they gave me a wonderful experience.

We were unfortunate enough to have driver in the middle of class at the start of pandemic. The school handled things awesomely, transitioned to remote easily and were patient without our student's lack of driving practice and gave us extra time to get the drives in. Always returned phone calls/emails promptly.

This is a great driving school. My third child is learning to drive, and we have used three different driving schools in the area. This is the first one that I can honestly say has been worth every penny and every minute of time. The owners are friendly, helpful, considerate, and knowledgeable. The classroom instruction was useful and well taught. The driving instruction has been excellent. My son has learned so much from New Concept Driving School. I will definitely be sending my fourth child here. I recommend New Concept Driving School.

The staff genuinely cares and gives good tips. The classes were informational, and fast, which was good time wise. The drives were helpful and created a calm environment. When I was prepping for my test I was very stressed and anxious, but when I got in the car the anxiety went away. Would genuinely recommend to everyone I know who still needs to get their license.

I was so prepared and confident going into the driving test because of them. The school taught me everything I needed to know. It would be hard to sleep through the class as the information is not presented in a boring manner. John is the coolest teacher ever. He made the class fun. John is serious when it is needed also funny in his teaching. The drives go by quick as the instructors are nice and easy to talk to. Highly recommend for anyone in the area... stop looking at the others!

As mentioned in several reviews, booking driving lessons is very difficult. I logged in this morning within 30 minutes of the announced time for posting new slots and there is nothing available. This feels like a game and they are toying with me. I didn't pay good money to have to jump through hoops to get what I paid for. I will update this and change my rating as the situation evolves.

I'm very upset with the staff. I've been trying to talk to someone in the office, called during business hours, stopped by office and left several messages and no one has had the courtesy to return any of my phone calls and office closed when it should be open according to the business hours on door sign. I've paid the full amount of the course and now I cant even schedule drives. I dont know how they are in business with this poor customer service. Honestly very upset and dissatisfied. I dont reccomend it at all.

The classroom class was great for our daughter however be advised when you try to schedule drives it takes at least 1.5 months to get a drive scheduled as of today and they will only schedule 2 drives at a time. So if you do the math it will take nearly 5 MONTHS to complete your drives at best case unless they have cancelations. Save your time and do it at school and at least it will be done in a semester....

The staff is some of the most helpful people there is. They have patience with all drivers and make an effort to influence your driving skills in the best way they can. They made me like a priority and I felt very comfortable on each drive i went on with my instructor. I passed my driving test with ease and it's all thanks to the experience New Concept gave me.
