absolutely loved this school, i had classes with mr.b and drove with the new instructor darlene, while keeping a professional and educational school and drive times they also just made it fun. i didn’t ever really dread classes because i knew that we wouldn’t have to sit for long periods of time and listen to a lesson, we were able to teach ourselves by reading the manual and doing small quizzes and getting more than prepared for the written test. absolutely recommend this school.

Our son started drivers Ed in the middle of everything shutting down for Covid- it was all via zoom which worked out better than we anticipated. Mr. B was engaging, funny yet professional, and did a really good job communicating expectations. At the time, there was no drive time available and due to circumstances beyond the driving schools control, his drive time didn’t start til two months after completing the class. 2020 has been a year like no others and being flexible and supporting local businesses is what it is all about. Sure we would have loved things to work out the way they were supposed to, him getting his license when he turned 16. But it didn’t and it’s not the end of the world, nor anything that CDA could have done differently. I would still recommend the company to anyone looking for a solid drivers Ed class for their child- the level of instruction and flexibility of scheduling options was a solid win for our family.

Capital Driving is one of the best schools you could choose to learn to drive and get your license. Mr B works really well with his students and is able to make learning fun. Through the pandemic, he did really well to get us the information we needed and had good communication to be able to get us on the road.

CDA came up BIG during the pandemic. We switched my son from another program to CDA because he would've had to wait months to start driver's ed otherwise. CDA handled remote learning and the challenges of driving with COVID-related restrictions very well. I will be signing up kid #2 with them as well in a couple of years. They are very convenient, accommodating, and high tech!

My son's "classroom" time was virtual. Mr. B kept the learning interesting to keep the students involved and attentive. Also, he was very accommodating with the drive time availability as well even with tricky schedules. COVID made many things difficult or impossible, however CDA found ways to offer safe and healthy learning during the pandemic. 5 stars and beyond for Capital Driving Academy!!

Capital Driving Academy is amazing! We had a wonderful experience this fall. They have great times for classes to accommodate busy students to start. Mr. B is patient, flexible and knowledgeable. We were able to fit in driving hours before school in the mornings which made it possible to finish the class and get her license within days. Most importantly my daughter was incredibly confident when driving due to her experience. After taking her test today at DMV I asked her how it was and she said, "It was so easy! " I said you must have studied hard she said " No, I just had a great teacher! " Thank you It's not an easy job and would recommend this driving school to anyone.

CDA is a professional driving school. I have gotten my driver license within under two months since I was taught decent driving lessons. Capital Driving Academy were receptive to our initial inquiries this spring with solution oriented attitudes and prompt communication. Online classroom format is well organized. Mr. B engages his pupils in the classroom and in the car. Great place to take drivers ed! Instructors are kind, well-mannered and easily liked while also managing to keep control in the classroom and in the car. Mr. B makes learning and understanding the material easy and fun, and there wasn't ever a time I felt unwelcomed or uncomfortable in the building or in the cars. He made sure students knew it was a safe space and made sure that all were aware of a no tolerance rule, helping students to feel comfortable in speaking out loud and making mistakes. 11/10, great people who have a knack for what they're doing and make it worthwhile. When we moved to NH from out of state, our sons had taken a driver’s ed class in their former high school, and Mr. B worked with us to have NH accept this coursework. He continued to work with us to schedule and provide driving/observation instruction only for our sons. He couldn’t have been more accommodating, and the experience for our two was exceptional from start to finish. Not only did they learn a great deal about driving, but they also learned some life lessons from a retired police officer along the way. Our family can’t recommend Mr. B enough!

We were very pleased with Mr. B and his driving school! He was kind enough to enroll our son when we were still in "stay at home order" when the original school he signed up for kept getting rescheduled and delayed. Our son was able to complete his online class time in a timely manner and it was positive experience even through Zoom. It was great that he was able to offer that at a time when meeting in a physical classroom was not permitted. Getting the ten hours of driving with an instructor to complete the course was not as easy but with patience and understanding and perseverance Mr. B tried his hardest under the guidelines that he was given, to do his best. I'm sure he was putting in long hours trying to get caught up with students that were cut short because of the pandemic and the DMV closing and that it wasn't easy. He followed protocols to a "T" and kept our son safe. Thank you Mr. B for trying your hardest under this unprecedented time.

I researched so many driver education options for my son and I am so thankful we found Capital Driving Academy. After being told horror stories from friends and other places, it was amazing that the only complaint my son had was getting up early. Mr. B is phenomenal, personable and professional as is his wife. This will be our only choice when it’s our daughter’s turn. We can’t thank them enough! Our son is a safe cautious driver and I think aside from how invested this academy is on their new drivers, it is a huge bonus that these students are with a retired police officer. That was something I really wanted for him and with everything else they have to offer from their professionalism to family-like way of welcoming new classes, there is no competition out there. I highly recommend them. In fact, Capital Driving Academy would be my only recommendation when you are putting your child behind the wheel.

I cant say enough good things about Capital Driving Academy. My daughter was enrolled in drivers ed during the Covid -19 crisis. Although the classes were on zoom Mr. B was engaging and informative with his students. He made drivers education fun, while reiterating the importance of the rules of the road. The on road driving instruction was also seamless and impeccable. My daughter was fully prepared for both the written and driving portions of her exam. She is a cautious and confident driver due the instruction she received at Capital Driving Academy.

We signed up for this before the pandemic hit and then ended up with taking it during the pandemic. I could not have been happier with how well it worked out. We had to have patience as it took some time to get the on road part done, and people need to realize that there is a backlog and just give it time, it's an unusual time for every business and they went above and beyond to get my son scheduled and accommodated with times that worked well for us. I really appreciate how well he worked with our son and will be signing up our next child when the time comes.

This is such a hard time (with Covid) to get drivers education. Not only was Capital Driving Academy accommodating, they were very responsive to any questions and quite flexible. My son really enjoyed the time he spent with Mr. B. And the quality of both the classroom and road education was FAR supperior to other driving schools in the area (I had my daughter in a competitor the year before). I will definitely use Capital Driving Academy again when it is my youngest childs time to learn to drive. Thanks for all you do!

We went through 2 driver's ed programs, (The first forgot about us and the second kept pushing class further away due to COVID-19. ) before finding Capital Driving Academy, turns out it was a blessing in disguise! This is a professional outfit. Our daughter started and finished driving school during the pandemic. This requires more patience for everyone re: scheduling as there was a significant backlog of students needing instructor driving time. Mr B. and staff were always very kind and clear in their interactions with our daughter. She finished class with way more confidence driving than I expected. Fingers crossed for her driving tests. Update: she was well prepared and passed both written and driving tests no problem.

Ernie is amazing. Ernie really cares about the kids/people that come to him to learn how to drive. Everyone learns differently and Ernie realizes this and teaches them based on that. He is so patient and has a way of making his students feel relaxed and not be nervous. He is great at what he does. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend him. I know my son who is 21 wouldn't have his license without all the help Ernie provided.
