We had a great experience with McKenzie Drivers Education! My daughter was lucky enough to get Mr. Ashebo for an instructor. She really learned a lot from him. He had such good techniques to teach things my husband and I had been trying to teach for ever, and with him he made them so simple for her. Her confidence went way way up and she passed the road test on her first try! And not only that, but he was also very nice and she actually enjoyed the sessions. It's much more economical than the AMA courses, but you get the same certificate, and wonderful teaching. You won't regret choosing McKenzie, especially if you ask for Mr. Ashebo.

Went hunting and trusted the online reviews on this. My son had a great experience with McKenzie Drivers -- Mr. Rourke the driving instructor obviously did a great job as he passed both the driving school test (online) and his driving portion and then sailed through the gov't driving test as well. Diane in the office was easy to deal with and cut us slack when a sudden illness led to a late cancellation on a scheduled driving lesson. We used their car for the gov't test as well -- all worked out seamlessly. Well done. I highly recommend. Great value and professional.

I want to thank my very nice soft spoken and very patient instructor Mr. ASHEBO for his encouraging technique way of teaching which helped me a lot to finally get my driving license. Thank you Sir for motivating me and helping me to gain the confident of driving. Student like me wouldn't get nervous holding the stirring wheel and driving besides the instructor like you. Candice Creelman is a really great teacher! She is nice and funny. She makes sure you understand everything. She makes in class lessons fun and interesting.Got 97% on my test. Really recommend her !

Fantastic driving school! Took the online courses (Very easy to understand and gives great info!) and drove 10 hours with Mr. Ashebo. He was very friendly and taught many important rules and techniques, thanks to him I passed my driving test first try! Very happy with this school!

This driving school is incredible, the instructors are amazing I had Mr. G Rourke , Mr Y Ashebo and a few others but I don't remember their names. They were all wonderful instructors and I would definitely recommend anyone to go there wether you're experienced or just starting out they will improve your chances of passing your road test substantially.

Great experience! Loved that I could do the classroom portion online. I have a busy schedule and it was awesome to be able to complete at my own time. Mr. Ashebo was FANTASTIC! without his guidance, encouragement and skilled knowledge of breaking down steps to understand properly, I would have never passed. Thanks again!

If i could give them 0 stars I would! They have no availability, i booked a 2 hour brush up with them- they said they would fit me in anyway because i had my driving test booked and one of their teachers called me and he never showed up! I have emailed them multiple times regarding getting a refund and they have not responded, i also text the instructor that i was suppose to go driving with regarding the refund and he never responded either! Very unprofessional, I would not recommend it. Major waste of money... i also did the classroom hours and the 10 hour driving time with them and they never booked the road test for me or helped me out in anyway to get my license (that is why i needed the brush up). Horrible experience. I booked my brush up with another school and passed- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I can't begin describe my gratitude for these fine people. Diane in the office is super friendly and always made sure to communicate clearly with me about my driving lessons. I had both Mr. Rourke and Mr. Ashebo and they are both amazing and both went absolutely above and beyond for me. I highly recommend this driving school and will be telling my friends about it.

I had the best experience with my instructor Mr. Y ashebo. He will make sure that you are fully prepared for your road test. He is a very patient instructor. Very calm and communicates very well. He made sure that I was ready to pass my road test which I did!! Dianne is amazing person to deal with when booking appointements, cancel or rescheduling. She also return your phone calls very quick. I recommend 100%. Mr. Y Ashebo is my favorite instructor!!

We had a great experience with McKenzie Drivers. I had both my sons take Drivers Ed with Mckenzie Drivers. They were excellent. Mr. Ashebo instructed both of them and they both had an excellent experience. They felt comfortable and at ease with him and learnt so much more than we would have taught them. He was very accommodating with scheduling issues and responded quickly to inquiries. Diane was wonderful as well and was very helpful with information and scheduling. I highly recommend! Both of my son's went into his road test with confidence and passed on their first try.

My 16 yr old recently passed AB road test! yay! She was a student of Mr Ashebo ( I hope spelt that right) and was very happy being taught by him. He went out of the way to call the registry in Lethbridge, where we had booked my child's road test, to find out what the speed limit in residential neighborhood there is. WHO would have thunk? We will be forever grateful of Diana ( I hope that I got her name right) for scheduling all 5 'in vehicle' lessons on short notice since we wanted to have them as close to the road test date as possible and were struggling to get a road test date. Great place to prepare for road test, I had Mr. Wong in the classroom and he keeps it interesting. On the road Mr. Ashebo is absolutely an expert teacher, even if you're a bad driver if you drive with him you'll be ready to pass the road test. I recommend these services.

I had Mr. Ashebo as my driving instructor and I highly recommend him. If you are someone who is nervous about driving for the first time, Mr. Ashebo will make you feel comfortable behind the wheel very quickly. He is excellent at helping you learn quickly and maintains the right balance of knowing when to step in and when to let you learn from your mistakes, without causing any panic because he always remains calm and professional. He is very easy to get along with and I really enjoyed and valued all the lessons I had with him, which really helped in passing my road test quickly.

I would highly recommend this driving school. Mr. Yohannes Ashebo was an amazing driving teacher. I, as well as my three siblings, were all able to pass our road tests first try with his guidance and skill advice. He was very patient, kind, and explained techniques very well. He gave very useful and helpful advice. Mr. Ashebo was honest on what skills I needed to work on, but he was kind about it and helped me to master them.
