Allan was my driving instructor and his knowledge helped me pass my G road test. I had previously had lessons with Triple AAA driving school and had a terrible experience. I would suggest Rays driving school to anyone that wants to learn from a honest and reliable driving school. Thank you so much for being a awesome teacher and genuinely caring !!

I would Highly recommend Rays Driving School. The Communication was exellent. The instructor Allan was very knowledgable and friendly. He made sure that my Son had the skills he needed. He was EXTREMELY helpful navigating the driving test and it was great for my Son to use the car he had spent so much time learning in for his test. My second child used another school and we sure regret that. We know the difference , and my last child has already declared she will not go anywhere except Rays driving school, which is just fine with us.

This driving school was recommended to me as one of the oldest in Barrie. That's why I decided to take lessons with them. But I was disappointed right away. The instructor's name was Allan. Even though he has more than 20 years experience as a driving instructor I didn't learn much from him. Instead of teaching me how to drive properly, most of the time he was me telling different stories. I ended up taking lessons at another school and passed the test. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

A HUGE thank you to Allan & Kari and Ray's Driving School!!!! I waited a long time to get my license and was never confident about driving and Allan made the learning experience that much more comforting! I know from the first in-class lesson (which was actually online) he was very passionate about his job and cared about being a good and safe instructor. I booked private lessons through Ray's Driving School in Barrie in preperation for my G2 test. After emailing my concerns and questions, Kari got back to me right away. Every step was seamless and before I knew it (within a month) I went from being a nervous to a confident driver. Allan was both professional and understanding in my nerves and abilities. With his patience and strong teaching skills I am now happy to say I am holding a G2 license. I owe it all to the team at Ray's Driving School! THANK YOU!!

Allan was fantastic with my daughter who was nervous learning how to drive. Allan was patient and seemed to know how to instruct her to make her comfortable with driving. She just passed her G2 and has very confidently driven by herself! Thank you Allan, you really helped my kid with a very important milestone in life.

If I could give this school a 0 star I would, so unprofessional so all the kids think he’s “ cool “ during his lessons he talks to the teenage boys about not getting distracted by short skirts when they’re driving because he knows how it is because “ the shorter the skirt the better “ disgusting, you don’t learn much he tells stories about his life the whole time, the guy who runs the location in midland just talks to his students about his drinking and him being a diabetic and lots about his personal life. They both are unorganized and play games I wouldn’t not recommend this school to anyone!
