I chose Maple Driving School to rent out a vehicle for my road test which included a 1 hour warm up. Little did I know, I was about to go for my road test almost unprepared based on Shahbaz's assessment, but he was very patient with me and made the most of the 1 hour I have to prepare. In my search for the best driving school in Abbotsford at a reasonable price, I landed upon Maple Driving School. In my initial interaction with the Instructor Mr. Shahbaz, I was convinced that this was a genuine & professional driving school, unlike many others in town. I took 4 classes ( one 60 mins and three 90 min classes). All covid safety protocols are followed before and during every session. I personally found the 90 min class to be much more beneficial as it gives more time to complete the overall rules of the road. Shahbaz is highly skilled at his job and has been in the industry for several years. His calmness and patience really helped me get over my nerves. The best part is he doesn’t just teach driving rules, but gives detailed explanation behind why the rule exists. This helped me in soaking all the knowledge much faster. Everything that was asked of me by the examiner during the exam was already covered multiple times by Shahbaz. Needless to say, I passed in my very FIRST ATTEMPT!!!! Something which seemed like a herculean task in the beginning seemed like a walk in the park by the end of it. ALL CREDIT TO MAPLE DRIVING SCHOOL. This is by far one of the best decision I have taken in the recent past.

I contacted Shahbaz when my friend recommended me to take lessons from him for my class 5 road test at Abbotsford. He responded promptly and precisely and we set the dates and time for the classes. I took two "2 hours" lessons from him before my actual test. Shahbaz worked on my weak points right away in the beginning of the very first class, showed me the techniques to deal with intersection turns, etc. His way of teaching will not make you nervous, instead makes you more confident. So, you can go to him expecting a good return of your money and time.

Tbh i did not like the way he teach, he was rude. And he did not even explained me about hand rules nothing. He just drove me in one route, there are two . But then i booked my another class from other driving institute and realised that he charges too much as compare to the basic price in abbotsford and he doesn’t even explain in details. It’s nothing personal but coming to driving class, instructor needs to have patience.

After relocation from another country I was forced to replace my international driver's license with BC's one. Friday morning I booked my road test to Saturday 8am in Abbotsford and realized that I don't have a suitable car to pass the test :) So I called Maple Driving School on Friday and we agreed that I would have 1 hour lesson before the road test and a car for the test. Taking into account my road test was scheduled for 8:20am, Maple Driving School instructor came at 7am (even earlier than official school's work day starts). And it was the most effective 1 hour lesson in my life - instructor described how road test would pass, explained all movements which would be noticed by an examiner, showed most common road test routes and described what I had to be focused on. So as a result I passed my road test with a clean sheet! Service in general was great: unbelievably quick response, professional and result-oriented.

Absolutely amazing! I took about 5 classes before my class 5 road test and the instructor really helped me get familiar with all the errors I was making in my driving. Constantly gave me reminders to make my shoulder checks properly and other things as well. The instructor, Shahbaz, went out of the way and even sent me videos to watch on mistakes I was making, it really helped me to improve and get my class 5 license! I'm very thankful with Mr. Shahbaz, He covered every aspect of the driving test, even though I have got licenses in the past from US and my own country, in Canada there are some things that are very different like roundabout or look over the shoulder for the blind spots. I just passed my road test today. I can say with full confidence that Shahbaz is an excellent instructor. I had so many areas to improve before I approached him for lessons. He worked with me and in a few lessons I was able to master the skills with his clear, friendly, professional and easy explanations. He is not only a perfect expert of his profession but also has great instructional skills and social charms which makes one learn the skills easily and gain full confidence required for a road test. I am very happy with the experience.
