Passed my Class 5 Road Test on the first try after taking only 2 classes with Jayson. I can't express how happy I am I learned from him. I had been driving for 10 years abroad and had so many bad habits. After my first class with Jayson, we had identified all the habits and techniques I needed to correct and improve. I think this is what ultimately helped me pass. He also took me through the exact routes of the examiners and he would take me back to the areas where I needed improvement. We did a little warm up right before my road test. By the time I had my road test, I knew EXACTLY what to do and I was able to do it right! He also accommodated last minute schedule changes and was very patient, encouraging, and kind. I was very nervous coming into this whole experience, but Jayson definitely made it 100x more positive. Couldn't recommend him enough to everyone! Maraming, maraming salamat Sir!!

Jason is the best instructor in town! Got my Class 5 driving licence after moving to BC from Ukraine. If you want to be ready to pass your road test in a heavy rain from the first try, book some lessons with this school. Jason provided ton of insights on how to prepare for the test in just 2 lessons, polished the basics and definitely improved my driving in general. I recommend to buy a warm-up exam package as well. Very happy with the service, professional and efficient. Good service and good behavior. He really familiarize you with the roads and what the examiner is looking for and expect from you. Even if you are an experienced driver and coming from abroad, I suggest to at least take an hour and half training along with the road test package, that really worked for me!

Many thanks to Instructor Jason, at first when my parents recommended for me to take driving lesson. I was hesitant, but upon meeting him and our first lesson I was immediately amazed at how great his attention to detail was, that combined with his fun personality. A great driving instructor, he was always patient with me in which helped me gain confidence as a new driver, and before i knew it 6 lessons went by. Today on Dec 10 2021 I took my Driving test and passed on my first try with flying grade on my paper. I failed two times getting my Class 5, did couple of lessons with other instructor, I thought I knew everything but the result says otherwise until I met Jason, did only two lessons with him but because of those two short lessons, I passed my Class 5. He was able to cover all points and polished my skills where other instructors failed to do. In the process of exchanging my European license for a BC drivers license, Jayson was the key to my success in the road test. He is very patient and friendly and solved all my doubts related with the maneuvers that the Canadian traffic law allow and Europeans are not used to it. If you are learning how to drive, this is it. Look no further. Sir Jayson has a very calm demeanour and very approachable. He will prepare you not only for your test but also on developing good driving skills. I have been on a “lesson” with my husband and taken my road test twice, failed both times. My husband has decided that it is really required for me to be in a driving lesson and I am glad that through word-of-mouth, we found Sir Jayson! If there’s someone who can prepare you for your road test, it is him. He will take you to where exactly the road test is. You will be familiarized with the area, the hazards and develop your strengths and correct mistakes. I rarely write reviews, but this had to be said about the phenomenal experience and training I received by GLT Driving Academy. If you are looking to learn how to drive along the North Shore, Jayson is the instructor for you! First and foremost, Jayson is an absolute pleasure to be around. You can just tell that he is a very kind person at heart with a vast knowledge about driving. He makes the learning experience digestible with very little pressure. Second, as new drivers, I find it common that we feel nervous and anxious behind the wheel. Although you are the one driving for the first time in the vehicle, Jayson somehow makes the entire situation feel like it's under control and safe. I have never once felt like I was in danger while driving with him which was one of my biggest fears. Lastly, Jayson really has a great knowledge about the potential routes you may go on when taking your Road Test. This means that he prepares you in every way possibly that replicates the test itself. I got in touch with Jayson a few days before my class 5 road test. I was frantically searching for someone who can teach me a refresher course since I had been driving with my N for several years. Commuting from burnaby to north van was worth it! Kuya Jason is very professional & he’ll tell you what you need to know about the road test (especially in north van area). I failed twice but with kuya’s help thankfully I passed my third! I highly suggest him if you’re planning to take a road test in north van or just looking for a professional driving instructor. Thanks kuya for everything! will sure go to you when to take my class 5 (:

I passed my road test after 2 lessons with Jayson. He is really a good, calm and patient teacher. He gave me all the information I needed about the expectations of icbc instructors. He is simply a nice person and a good motivator. It was worth it to prepare for my road test with him (I would never pass it on my own). Took two driving lessons with different instructors before I had a lesson with Jayson. While I already felt quite confident with my driving, Jayson helped fix all of my mistakes that likely would have made me fail my road test, and pointed out things that previous instructors hadn't mentioned. One of the best instructors in North Vancouver. Not your typical driving instructor that will make you repeat things you are not getting, instead he will give you examples on how to get around your fears and weaknesses on the road. Highly skilled driver as well which will give you the comfort during the learning phase while driving in a busy road. Knowledgeable of ICBC's testing rubricks that gives him the leverage from other driving instructors. One of the the things I took away from the lesson that I would never forget is when he said "I am teaching you to drive not only because I want you to pass your exam, but also I want you to be safe on the road going to your destinations alone or with your family.
