Rude, unprofessional, poorly managed, unorganized

Waste of time and money. I booked a lesson for my daughter to drive with a ‘professional’ driver to help prepare for her upcoming class 5 driving test. Harold spent most of the lesson in a parking lot which did not help her prepare for her driving test at all. Furthermore, when I asked for an explanation for each of my concerns, I received NO response from Loretta which was extremely unprofessional. Update: My daughter easily passed her Class 5 driving test despite the useless lesson 4 days earlier provided by the Dallas Driving School.

I highly recommend Dallas Driving School. Loretta went an extra mile to schedule me for lessons. Which I highly appreciate since it was on short notice, the training I received at Dallas Driving School gave me the ability to successfully pass my Class 5 road test on my first attempt. Getting my class 5 as a former international student wouldn’t be possible without Harolds detail instructions and his patience until I had it right. Harold helped me understand the driving tactics and useful tips that helped me pass the test in a very short time. Also the car was in very good condition, all combined really boost my confidence. I can say without any hesitation that Dallas driving school is the best choice. Definitely recommending Dallas driving school to my international friends

Helpful and calm instructor who goes out his way to make sure that students succeed. Loretta, the manager who I spoke over the phone and helped me book my classes spoke to me like I was he best friend and made me feel very comfortable. They helped me develop confidence on the road and thus making me a very responsible and safe driver. With their help I passed my driving test the first time.

Son went here a few months back. Hard working staff.This school is so busy and still manages to keep up on the demand. I think that Loretta is the best. Just a saftey meeting here. Turn away students that cause grief early as they post fake reviews over such lies.

This guys helped me get my class 5 and I passed the road test with no demerits. Great guys to deal with, and in case you are concerned about driving around and polluting, they have a nice EV.

The two-star is for Harold, he is an experienced and patient instructor . However, the manager there is rude and inpatient. She messed up my schedule and overcharged me, when I argued with her, she just cancelled all my final practices before the road test, and so I went to a different one instead.

I called the Dallas driving school on a Friday because my husband had his road test io a Tuesday and the car he was going to use had a crack in the windshield. Loretta not only rearranged everything so he could get a lesson before his test and use their car for the test, but she was so kind and encouraging wishing him luck the night before.. I can't believe how great they were on such short notice. I have to take my driving test next summer and I'll definitely be using them for my lessons

My son just passed the “N” driving test on the first try after 10 lessons with Harold with Dallas Driving School. He was a very patient, knowledgeable, kind instructor. It was very helpful to go with this driving school and I will be calling them to help out my two younger teens.

Harold and Loretta are wonderful. Loretta, (who I spoke with on the phone and arranged payment with and set up scheduling for lessons), is polite and reassuring on the phone. Harold, (who gave the instruction), was amazing with my son. My son was extremely anxious about driving, feeling like he just wasn’t going to be ready for his road test. Harold was calm and patient ..while I was late to book lessons, they fit us in when ever they could. My son passed his N test this morning and he couldn’t be more happy with Harold. Thank you for giving him the confidence he needed! Even if he hadn’t passed.. we would Have continued to use their services

Harold is a true teacher calm nice,he knows his students very well like i know driving but i was unable to control my anxiety he noticed it and did Meditation which opened up my mind eye and calm my heart Really helps me alot. Every line he tell during driving lesson is very useful have .

The lady who is the manager crossed all her limits of being rude and unprofessional. She quoted me $65 couple of times when I called her and at the day of my lesson she asks me for 70$, which is not a big of a deal. But I simply told her the same she started yelling at me and canceled my lessons for which I’ve been waiting since more than 2 months. Just because they have a monopoly in Merritt doesn’t give them the license to be rude to people. Had to book it with different school. Would give negative stars if possible. Don’t even deserve a 0.

I had my drivers test today and I chose to have one driver lesson before my actual exam and then I rented their car to do my road test. Harold was my instructor and he was great. I have been driving for years but there were things I was doing without realizing and Harold kindly pointed that out for me. He picked me up from home, gave me a driver’s lesson and dropped me off at ICBC where his wife Loretta was waiting for me so I could use her car since he had another driving lesson after. Loretta was awesome. We spoke some Portuguese and she made me calm and confident about my exam. In the end of my road test, Loretta was waiting for me and she was so happy when I told her that I had passed! This was my second time trying to pass the exam and I wasn’t confident until I had my driving lesson first. They were so helpful. I’m so thankful! Totally recommend them

I have tried on two other occasions to pass my license with different schools and have failed both time.After three lessons with Harold I passed... he took the time explain thing in a way I could understand and is very knowledgable about what to expect on the test and was able to help me with preparation. I would highly recommend them
