Dave is AWESOME! I had my license for 10 years but never owned a car for myself, so I had zero driving experience prior to taking lessons with Dave. For a person like me who didn't even know what all those numbers on the meter meant, Dave was the best teacher I could ask for. He taught me from the basics of cars & the road to many great tips and techniques of safe driving. Dave is very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. I never felt stupid asking questions that I had about cars. He even went and helped me with purchasing my car out of his own time since I didn't know anything about buying cars and insurance, etc. - and he even got me a good deal! :) I would highly recommend this school to anyone at anytime!!

Navneet and Dave are absolutely amazing driving instructors!! They gave me extremely useful tips and we practiced driving on the roads which are commonly used for road tests. I passed my class 5 test in just one try after taking several lessons with them! Today Dave took me practice on merging onto Highway just before my road test and later on my examiner took me to the same highway entrance!! Navneet and Dave really know what the examiners are looking for and the common pitfalls of driving students! All in all, they are truly the BEST DRIVING instructors I've ever had and I'm truly thankful that I found them on Google!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! :D

This guy is the by far the best instructor I have had. No pun intended on best. There's so much mixed information about how to drive and he turned out to be 100 percent correct on everything. He's also available when you need him. The last school I used was booked two months ahead and had me doing lots of unnecessary shoulder checks and made me feel like they just wanted my money. He really wants you to pass and has very good tip that are easy to follow and comprehend. I will be using him again for my wife and likely my kids in a few years.

Highly recommended. I took lessons from one of the instructors with the name "Navneet". 3 lessons in 3 days and I passed class 5 test. I am extremely happy and I am 110% sure the money is worth it (I had a license in a different country, but if you come from elsewhere like me, you know Canada is a totally different level of strictness in terms of rules and law). She has a keen eye for the potential mistakes that you might make. She is straight-forward and will tell you your mistakes. That is how I grew fast and got my license. Navneet was very accommodating and squeezed my lessons in her busy schedule. I am very grateful considering how busy I was and there were only 3 days left to expiration of my Learner's license.

Great teaching. I failed in the past for my class 5 road test before I took lessons from Best Driving school. When I met David, he pointed out all my mistakes at the very first lesson. He advised me to take 4 lessons minimum. I worked on my mistakes and with the support of David who is the tutor, I passed it easily with good comments on my test sheet. All credit goes to David as he taught me which was lacking from the lessons of my previous instructor! I highly recommend it.

I had an Italian driving licence and after taking one lesson with Dave I realized I needed more lessons in order for me to pass on my first try. In Italy the examiners and rules are not as strict, also they don't fail as easily as they do here. I took a total of 10 lessons and I passed. Dave has lots of experience, he corrects every mistake you make and explains to you all you need to know to pass. He's very patient but also direct. It's hard to change the way you drive after driving many years in your country but he definitely helps you achieve your goal. It's also a very affordable driving school compared to others!

I failed the test in my first try both because I was inexperienced and I was not familiar enough with Canadian regulations (even though I used to drive in another country). After that I took two classes with them and learned what I was doing wrong and how to fix it. Passed on the second try after classes. They are good people and will teach you what you are doing wrong.

I needed to get my class 4 drivers license (restricted) for rideshare. My test was March 20 but rescheduled to June 17 due to covid 19. Even though I thought I was very prepared, a wave of anxiety hit me when I had my new test date. I feard that I would fail my test and have to wait months again to rebook because of covid, so I hired this company and had Dave as my instructor who was very helpful. He helped me with my pre-trip inspection and gave me great feedback on my driving as well as corrected errors and bad habits in my driving. The price for an hour and a half lesson was very fair and Dave allowed me to choose the meetup location. I would recommend this school for anyone hoping to get there class 4 license. Dave was phenomenal. I passed my test and owe it to Dave!

I just passed my road test yesterday and it wouldn't have been possible without Dave's help at Best Driving School. It really is the best driving school! I switched to Dave from a different school where I was practicing driving for close to 2 months and I knew that with one week left till my road test, I had no chances of passing if I didnt do something drastic.. So I called Best Driving School, since the name was such a promise, and I spoke with Dave. He is a very patient and intuitive instructor. There were several times when he knew what I was thinking of doing without me saying anything. He also knows exactly what the ICBC examiners look for and how they evaluate the road test performance. Yesterday, during my road test, I was completely prepared. Nothing to take me by surprise and that's exactly the kind of certainty you would want to have when you are preparing to take the road test. I called this place after reading the reviews, I booked warm up session and a car for the exam. On the day of the test I met the instructor called Navneet she was horrible. Every mistake she told me you will fail and you have to take many classes and she even gave me her personal number to take classes with her and ofcourse I faild. I don't recommend that place at all.

Went from barely knowing how to drive to passing my test on the 1st try in about 1 month of 10 lessons with Dave. Passed test with no mistakes too! Absolutely recommend, especially to get the service of lesson before test and taking the instructor car. Dave takes you around the area and it helps with the nerves and polishing for the test (I made mistakes during the lesson but not on the test after), and he comes in with you and waits for you. He even gave me a ride home after! Wonderful service. Thank you!

I practice for few hours in this driving school for my road test which is schedule October 7, 2020. (I pass). If you call the number Dave will answer you. He is a good instructor, he will correct you if you do a mistake maneuvering the car (don't feel bad this is how we learn ). The car you will driving in practice has two steering wheel and two brakes for safety reason. Albeit, the pedal kinda soft for what I experienced so , need a little bit careful pushing the brake and the gas. I recommend this driving school.... Good luck guys and drive safe. John

Really one of the Best driving schools. Highly recommended. Even if you are new driver, you don't need to worry. Navneet is really nice instructor, pays attention to all your basic mistakes and prepares you well for road test. Especially Navneet is punctual and keeps good communication. This school provides pickup & drop off and have flexible operating hours from 9 to 6 and on weekends as well. Go for it!

highly highly recommended, wouldn't have passed without Best Driving School. I got a cancellation appointment on the Friday for the driving test on Monday and I rang them up and even with the short notice they managed to fit me in for a lesson on Sunday evening. I met the instructor at the Burnaby ICBC location where the test would happen and had the lesson in my own car which I was using for the test. He showed me the routes where they usually take you on the test which was very helpful as those locations did actually show up in the test and I knew exactly what to do. He went over everything I needed to know for the test which was great cause I've been driving for a while but picked up some bad habbits and without having a lesson to tell me what I am doing wrong and what I should actually do in the test I would have failed. I passed the test first time so am very thankful for Best Driving school! When I had to pay the 31 dollars for the licence my debit card was rejected for some reason and I was stuck and didn't know what to do as I had to pay it in order to drive out of there legally. thankfully the instructor was there with another student and I asked him if I could borrow 20 dollars and he was really nice about it and agreed and just told me to mail him the money whenever I had it. It just shows how nice they are and that they would go the extra mile for their students. So thanks so much! 5 stars highly recommended. Thanks!

Driving has always given me anxiety, I pushed off getting my license for a very long time. I previously did driving school a few years ago in Ontario and I wasn’t happy with how I was taught. Then with the pandemic I decided it was just time to get it to limit my contact making trips to places, so I booked lessons with Navneet and I was extremely pleased with how well she taught me and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. She explains to you what to do and why you do things to keep yourself safe while driving, and that’s what my previous instructor (the one from Ontario) did not do. She is so kind and i really started enjoying driving. She goes above and beyond for her students making sure she can fit everyone in and prepare them for their exams. I passed my N road test on the first try and I cried. I highly suggest booking with best driving school, I was so thankful to get to know Navneet and will be looking forward booking my class 5 with with her in the future

Phoned in to ask some questions. Man on the phone was so rude it shocked me. Ask him what the prices are hourly he responded $75 per hour. Told him that his competitors are charging $40-$50 an hour can I ask why you guys charge more. He responded u asked how much we charge I told u the price so u want to book or not. What disgusting customer service. You want people to book with you sell your self and your company. I will tell everyone about my experience and I would not recommend anyone to book with them. You’re better off giving your money elsewhere where they will respect you. Imagine if I had scheduled with them. What kind of disrespect would I get from these cowards while trying to learn how to drive. Learn a bit more about customer service. Good luck with running ur business with this kind of behaviour.

Just saw one of their instructors driving down Royal Oak WHILE texting. Not at a stop light, on the huge hill between Dover and Deer Lake Parkway. I guess the saving grace is that she was being very cautious while she was doing it, there was about 400 m between her and the car in front, at 5:50pm. Dave, was always VERY professional, he's an excellent instructor, you are guaranteed to pass as long as you listen to Dave. I've known him since my Learners, he trained me and i passed at the first try for my N. Same for my license 5, I wanted to train for a bit for my test, and again I passed at the first try. Did a couple of classes with Dave and one class with a female instructor. Both were unbelievably negative and constantly distracting me. While Dave said there were issues with my basic driving ability, the female instructor patronized me by saying that, 'you are a smart guy' and then both during different classes went on to say that I should not be taking the test. I had 4yrs of international driving experience. Passed in the 1st test - Dave's face was a picture of stunned silence. I did not experience integrity from this service provider. Not recommended.
