Great track, little expensive but great course.

What an incredibly stunning location for a wedding. You can't really do much about the unpredictable weather, but when that rainbow after the storm shows up, everything has been worth the while.

We chose Stewart Creek to host our summer wedding reception after looking through venues in Canmore. Right from the beginning the service was exceptional. Sarah, the event coordinator, was always professional and quickly responded to all of my emails! When we arrived at the reception, Sarah was quick to introduce us to Kirsten, the maitre d for the night, and connect with our MC to ensure the kitchen was on time. The venue is absolutely stunning and our guests could not stop commenting on what a beautiful setting it was. Stewart Creek took care of everything from start to finish, and even set up all of the decorations, centrepieces and candy bar. It was the perfect setting for what we consider our perfect wedding! Thank you to everyone at Stewart Creek! We had an amazing day!

Weekend rate -$130 incl cart. Fairways in perfect shape. Greens are better than kananaskis. Great pace in 4.5 hours, started at 10 am. Sand is not soft, try to stay out of there. I am a 10 handicap.

This course is so over priced it isn’t even funny. $235 for the round is not worth it . There are so many other courses around that I’d rather spend my money at . The entire course is hard as a rock , the greens were not in the best shape, the starter was extremely rude to us. There was only place to purchase food and beverage and was extremely slow and poor service . There is nothing telling you the hole layout, so if you never played this track it makes it extremely difficult to know where to place your shot . I wouldn’t pay more than $150 bucks to play this course . Go to Grey Wolf or Banff Springs instead . Will never come back to this course .

Our daughters wedding was here on Dec 18 and I can't say enough good things about Stewart Creek. The staff were so helpful and organized, the venue was amazing, food was excellent. All our guests said it was one of the best weddings and parties they had attended. The tent was beautiful even with -8 and snowing. I would highly recommend Stewart Creek for your upcoming wedding or event. The location is beautiful!

We had our January 2019 wedding at Stewart Creek. Before deciding on this venue, we looked at a few other locations in Canmore and Banff. I can say without a doubt, we made the best choice. Everyone here was so amazing to work with. We dealt directly with Sarah and she was always so positive and helpful with any of our requests. The actual day went perfectly, with no small hiccups that everyone tells you to expect! The set up of the ceremony and reception space was beautiful, the food was delicious and all the staff were amazing before and after our wedding day. They made it super easy to set up our decor and even packed everything up for us afterwards so we could easily pick it up the next morning. The team at Stewart Creek made sure our wedding day was perfect and I couldn’t recommend them more!

We just had our wedding at Stewart Creek Gold and Country Club and it was absolutely amazing. Sarah and Jon were amazing to work with through the whole process and the guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the food, service and venue were. They even accommodated special requests that I made. If you want a true Canmore Mountain Wedding I would recommend this place to anyone getting married!!! I would not have changed a thing about my wedding. Thank you once again Stewart Creek!!! The Hucul’s

One of the nicest golf courses I have ever been to. Phenomenal views and very well maintained. Pretty tasty hot dog at the half way house and a great party platter at the 19th hole. Not the cheapest golf outing I have been on but for a unique experience I highly recommend it.

What an absolutely amazing wedding venue! My husband and I were blown away by the professionalism and friendliness of Sarah and her team. Everything from the ceremony tent to reception room to the surrounding panoramic views was stunning! We can't thank Stewart Creek enough for helping to make our wedding day so special. We really appreciated the open communication and much needed flexibility throughout all the lockdowns and COVID restrictions! The food and level of service was also amazing! Viewed this gorgeous building as a possible wedding venue. The events manager is a very kind person and he's willing to work with couples in achieving their dream wedding. Great prices for what you get out of the venue, they also serve German beer, which is a bonus in my books.

I photographed a winter wedding here back in 2019 and it was an absolute dream! The main space is so beautiful (big windows, wood beams, stone fireplace) that it doesn't even need a lot of decor. It was incredibly cold that day, so we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor patio (other than popping out for a few minutes to take some portraits) but I can imagine how lovely that space would be in the summertime. The staff were super friendly and was food was incredible! Looking forward to attending or photographing another wedding here.

I’m giving this place a 5* rating in anticipation for the life riveting wedding that is taking place here August 2019. There is going to be fireworks, special people, great times... and probably high risk gymnastics... also possibly Illegal exotic animals, golf carts, Russian collision, and questionable amounts of liquor. Went as a guest for a wedding. Nice venue for small wedding. Food was amazing and staff were nice. Cons - they didnt have enough seats in the members lounge for the break between the ceremony, ceremony was indoors due ro weather and people sitting by the staff door could hear loud music and chatter. You could also hear other people coming and going in the foyer. My recommendation for the hotel- have a sign "ceremony in progress please be quiet" and the kitchen staff should also know the timing of a ceremony so they keep it down as well.

My husband and I recently hosted our wedding at Stewart Creek Golf Club. Their event team, lead by Sarah and John, did an absolutely amazing job with every detail. I was planning from a distance but Sarah made the whole planning process so much easier than I had expected. From the venue to the service and food, everything was perfect. We had so many compliments on the our venue selection and on the food from our guests- I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!!

Extremely good golf course. Easily fits into the top 25 in the country (and I've played 50 of the top 100). Very challenging but not tricked up. In mint condition. Greens were in great shape. Very good driving range. Player assistant at the first tee and on the course was very helpful. Need to put water barrels on the course. Service after the round was poor. Had to ask the bag staff to clean our clubs. Was given a frown when I asked for my wife's clubs to be loaded in our truck.

Had the chance to play this course a couple weeks ago and it blew me away. The entire experience was 10 out of 10. Staff were great and greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had all we needed. The facilities are great, clean, and easy to navigate. The course itself was unbelievable from the sceanary to layout. Challenging but fair with incredible up keep. Tee boxes were good, fairways were soft and smooth, greens were fast and rolled true and just looked great. Already have 2 more rounds booked and am very excited for it. 5 stars all around. Update from my round July 27/21 Went back for a second round and it was like the first time going. Amazing course in phenomenal condition. Tee boxes, fairways, greens were all in great shape, course is challenging and fun to play, views are second to none even with the smoke. Chatted with a few grounds staff and they were all friendly, pro shop staff were great, food was so good. There isn't a thread you can pull on here, worth the money to play a legit course with top notch facilities. Talking with my wife for a membership next year. Will definitely be back this year too.

Positive : Course is in great shape. Greens role true. Staff very friendly . This is a first rate , facility and looks like it is well managed. It is one of the most beautiful, well maintained courses I have ever played on. Negative: I am a weekend hacker who does not score well but likes to get out, socialize and hit the odd good shot. Let me be perfectly clear. This course IS NOT for beginners, or any one ( like me) who only plays five or six times a year. It is tough even from the ladies tees. The fairways undulate and the ball is always above or below your feet. Any shot that does not land on the fairway is lost in the woods. If you are an above average golfer, you will enjoy the challenge. As for me, it was a journey in frustration I will say again, if you are just taking up the game or are a high handicapper, AVOID this course. In addition, a huge negative was this course allows players to use music boxes/ speakers. You are literally trying to putt while the group in front of you is blasting rap music while they tee off on the nearby tee box. I spoke to the assistant pro and he informed me that , yes, this is permitted. I won’t be going back for that reason alone and I will be informing those in my golf circle of this policy. Save the expensive green fees and golf at nearby Brewsters.

Stewart Creek is the ideal venue ceremonies and receptions for any small to medium size wedding. The new ceremony site is an outdoor tent facing the mountains. While we had a blizzard during our early May wedding, the view would be outstanding on any other clear day. The tent was helpful in keeping our guests dry and shielded from the wind. The food was excellent (the salmon was the highlight), and the service during dinner was outstanding. The bar staff in the evening were also attentive, friendly, and helpful in packing up our decor at the end of the evening. A special shout-out has to go to Sarah, who was our defacto wedding day coordinator. She was knowledgable, helpful, always willing to answer our questions, and was seemingly everywhere at once on the day-of. If you have a moderately sized wedding and are looking for a wedding venue in Canmore, we would not hesitate for a second to recommend Stewart Creek.

WEDDING VENUE REVIEW Can't speak highly enough about Stewart Creek as a wedding venue. John Munro (Events Manager) and the rest of his team made organising the big day as easy as could be and they all played a huge part in making everything run smoothly. The ceremony was held in a secluded outdoor tent with views of the mountains. You would never tell you were at a golf course. The reception in a beautiful room inside the clubhouse with attached outdoor terrace perfect for a cocktail hour. If you are planning a wedding then definitely speak to John and arrange a visit.

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! I had both my ceremony and reception at Stewart Creek June 1st 2019 and it was the best day ever. The event manager was so very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process! The ceremony tent is wonderful and has an amazing view of the mountains. The staff at Stewart Creek are so amazing! My decorations were set up beautifully by the staff in the ceremony tent as well as in the reception area. The food was delicious and the bartenders were friendly. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you are thinking of having your wedding ceremony and celebrations at Stewart Creek, do it!

We had an amazing experience working with Sarah and the event staff at Stewart Creek. We booked our wedding and reception back in 2020 expecting that restrictions would be lifted by our wedding date in June 2021. Of course that wasn't the case! Sarah was so helpful in helping us navigate the changing restrictions. We ended up cancelling the reception but proceeding with the ceremony and a fun drinks reception in the wedding tent. Sarah was on site for our entire rehearsal, helping run the show (much needed!), she helped to set up our decorations and took them down/packed them away discretely while we celebrated and did photos after the ceremony. She also processed our final bill and refund of our reception deposit promptly and correctly! My only regret is that we couldn't spend more time at Stewart Creek and have the reception. Highly reccomend this team for any wedding or event! Thank you so much!
