Motorcycle School: Michael was an incredible instructor. Funny, charismatic, patient, methodical. It's easy to learn when you have a teacher like him. Ismael, the real world road instructor, was also fantastic and brought us on some beautiful rides. Perfect team! Would recommend 15/10. Cheers!

Met the most accomodating and understanding receptionist ever, Tina, then had the most horrendous in vehicle training with Susan. So insensitive, impatient, intolerant, inconsiderate , overtly hasty and assuming..even after I told her I hadn't driven anything my entire life.. On one occassion, I asked her to give me tips on how to drive straight and she said she couldn't teach me that....She literally said it was frustrating having to teach me. An instructor? She needs to be delicensed or whatever it is they do to such calibre of instructors. Anyways, Henry took over and I gained my confidence back. Would recommend Quality but Susan is a MASSIVE NO. She gives the school a bad name.

I really enjoyed my in-car driver training. I had two instructors, both where awesome! Angela was very calm which is great for beginner drivers. Robert was super down-to-earth type, I felt like I knew this guy for years, and he had a great positive attitude. I would recommend this school to anyone. They have very competitive prices for their courses, and its well worth the money spent. Plus they actually pick you up at your residence which is extremely convenient. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Took the Motorcycle (Live to Ride) course on June 27-28, 2020 and really enjoyed it. I’ve never ridden a bike before but Michael and Sam were really patient and excellent instructors with decades of on- and off-track experience each. I loved that they jump you on a motorcycle right away and do tons of low speed exercises in dt parking lot before taking you on a group ride around the city thru downtown, MacLeod Trail, Glenmore Trail and back to dt. I really appreciated one-on-one feedback throughout the exercises, knowledge test pointers, and do’s and dont’s for Class 6 road test including point scoring, even thou there were 6 guys and 2 gals in our course and we were all pretty COVID-19 conscientious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to ride safely and pass the road test.

Excellent driving school. They helped me go from lost foreign driver used to driving on the other side of the road, with no clue at all how to handle snow and ice, to an experienced driver who can handle anything in Canada. Highly recommended. They will treat you like a king. Ask for Ismail!

I had an unbelievable experience with Quality Driving. My in class teacher was named Henry Schreiber. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, witty and kept my interest sparked the whole time. My in car teacher was named Ismail, he was punctual, patient, easy-going, relaxed and again, very knowledgeable. He took me around my neighbourhood and taught me all the things I needed to know to be able to confidently drive, and showed me the ins and outs of being a good driver. I drove on an older Camry, as well as the new Subaru WRX twin turbo. Both different cars but he was patient in teaching me both of them and what it means to understand the car, test out and then ease into driving it properly. The office also had extremely polite customer service and were also very patient and helpful. Only thing I wish they could change, was their hours of operation as it just seems their days are very short. All in all, I am very happy from the service I received at an extremely reasonable price. And I would definitely recommend it to people!

Distract driving. While approaching 14 street coming from woodpark boulevard signal on Anderson, I was trying to change the lane but the driver (not the student) kept speeding not letting me change lane even though I have the signal long enough, he honked me as well. The driver did not slow down even knowing that we were very close to the traffic signal. The irony is that they train others for courtesy driving but don't follow it themselves.

Had a 2 hour in-vehicle practice course and mock test for my Class 5 GDL. Ismaïl picked me up on time, was very friendly and professional and knowledgable, gave me clear directions, had me practice in the same area where I was gonna be tested. He also offered me to rent the car i practiced on for my road test which was helpful, and the car was clean and new. I passed my road test same day. Would definitely recommend the service and Ismaïl specifically for test areas he is familiar with.

Ismail was a great driving instructor who made me feel confident behind the wheel. Very practical and straightforward. Henry thoroughly explained the rules of the road. Overall the whole staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend for class 7 GDL drivers looking for a insurance certificate and preparation for the road test. I passed my class 5 road test first try!

My review for the motorcycle course. Theory class was great and straight forward. The parking lot train was great, but the only reason I would give 3 stars is because of Darren’s attitude towards everyone, Good instructor but impatience with students when they are not able to learn things right away. Tammy in the other hand was great and patience. Another reason I give it 3 start is because their website promise me at least 2 hour of training on road, but because I was not able to brake fast enough or even use clutch efficiently in the parking lot training, they told me that I won’t be able to get on road training. I understand it’s for my own safety but I paid a lot of money so I would at least expect so more parking lot training then ride on the road. Also two things that I was suppose to be given were a certification saying that I completed the course (which helps reduce insurance cost) but again didn’t get because of lack of patiences from instructor. And also a coupon or something to rent a bike for a road test (reason unknown).

Was well taken care of. I am a newbie driver and I took 2 day weekend course and 5 in car sessions to get my license. All the instructors were very helpful especially Sisay and Ismail. Sisay's in class portion and one in car class I did, both were extremely productive and precise in instruction and tips. Ismail saw me through to my road test. Road test went well and I passed by the Lord's grace and thanks to the instruction from Quality Driving School. I would recommend this place and they are also at a decent price. Not too expensive and not too cheap. Overall I was a satisfied with instruction and I am a happy and safe driver by God's grace.

The course was set up to teach new riders the most important details around motorcycle riding with a focus on safety. Super fun and I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn how to ride or to improve their skills.

Made a good decision attending Quality Driving School for the GDL class. Personally in-class wasn't as useful as it's just an in-depth look at the learners handbook, but the instructor made the experience much more interesting. Although, the in-car driving was amazing! My instructor, Ismail taught me tips and tricks he learned over years of driving making difficult maneuvers, such as parallel parking, much easier. I was never nervous behind the wheel as he was very patient, and understanding. After completing the GDL program I took my Class 5 Basic road test and passed with a perfect score. I would recommend Quality Driving School to anyone, and everyone. (Like the one below ignore the Google+ name)

Great, Fun-tasic, Amazing, Innovative School for driving or riding motorcycle. Tina is very friendly who works in the office. And Darren was a kind of a hot headed but awesome instructor. He'll teach most of the efficient skills to get your class 6 license and also his assistant Sammy! Lastly, Ismael was a huge help for me; he stayed calm and taught me a lot on the road. Great advices and motivation he gave me for a "free of charge"!! Lol Would definitely recommended this to friends and family. Cheers ????

If you need driving skills this should be your first choice. With Tina doing an outstanding job at handling scheduling and customizing your training you will feel pampered from the first interaction, then the trainers are all top notch, in my case Ismael provided assertive guidance with a calm and relaxed communication style, I can honestly say he helped me gain the skills and knowledge needed to pass my class 6 road test.

He took the time to answer all of my questions, was really clear in his explanations and managed to calm all my worries down. I passed on my first try and I am so thankful to him for everything.

Hadn't driven in 25 years, took the Live to Ride motorcycle course, and was able to successfully complete the road test for class 6 license a few weeks later. This course content and process is very complete, and provides the basic operating and safety skills needed to get started riding. Darren is very professional and knowledgeable, and the emphasis is always on safety at all times. More than worth the cost, and having free use of their motorcycle for the road test is an incredible value-added bonus that no other school offers. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into riding, regardless of their current experience level.

I am happy to say, Quality driving school certainly lives up to their name! As someone who started with about zero driving intuition, they taught me all I needed to know and in a very kind, professional manner. The in-class lecture was pretty helpful and taught well by Sisay, which helped my pass the test with flying colours. For the in-car lessons, I had: Ismail and Angela (it's me Sam.S by the way!) by my side as my mentors and boy did they have patience. I never felt like I was under pressure and actually had a blast driving and recently just passed the course! Booking appointments was harmless and the site itself ran for me without a hitch. Sure there are some slightly cheaper options, but it's a very reasonable price and you get tenfold for what you paid for. If you didn't read any of that, I just finished the course and am fully satisfied with the experience . All in all, I highly recommend quality driving, 5/5 stars well earned!

Great school. It was the only one school where I was able to get one lesson without full course study. They provide gear also. There is no guarantee that you will find your size or it will be available, but I got fairly suitable gloves, jacket, helmet. instructors are nice and professional. Willing to help.

Had the best weekend doing the motorcycle training! Learned a ton and now have the confidence to go get my license. They even called and offered a free 2 hour road ride on the Monday to get even more training in! Price is also super fair compared to other classes I’ve seen! Our instructors Darren and Sammy were patient, constructive, professional and very supportive. They injected lots of humour and made what could have been a very stressful experience very enjoyable and fun. I highly recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

The teacher is very calm but he teaches me half-hearted. He shows me how to do most of the driving but not in details. I figured everything by practicing on my own. Overall if you already have some experience driving this school is good. If you are a brand-new like me, you're gonna have a hard time.

I had a great time with Darren and Sammy in the Live to Ride bike course. They pack a ton of information into those 2 riding days! Darren is a well traveled rider who has ridden a motorcycle all over the world. He has a great knack for being able to include his worldly experience in a way that not just makes you a better rider but better road user regardless. Sammy comes with years of racing and track experience! He has immense knowledge of performance riding and uses that to bring best practices on the street. The course was very professional with a key focus on safety. It was very fast paced learning environment with every lesson building off the skills in the previous. Dont be afraid to speak up if you dont feel you have gotten something down pact either. While the course is fast paced and they are always pushing onto the next thing they have no problems doing some 1 on 1 work with you to make sure you understand what they are teaching. I went from almost 0 motorcycle experience to feeling confident in traffic on our group ride arround the city on the second day. Huge thanks to Darren and Sammy for being fantastic instructors.

I really enjoyed my time here, the in class time wasn't too boring or difficult and the teacher was kind and very entertaining. Although he did go off on a lot of tangents... but honestly I just found his stories funny and interesting and they got me through the classes. I did most of my driving lessons with Ismail and they were great. He stayed calm the whole time and never got upset with me if I made a mistake. He was funny and a really nice guy to spend time with. I think he taught me very well. Definitely recommend him as an instructor. Robert was a lovely guy too, although I did find his tips and way of teaching a little more difficult to pick up. I think it was mostly a personal preference though. My only regret is taking my actual driving test at the registry next to the driving school. It's a difficult area to drive in and my tester seemed very harsh and blunt, she seemed to want to pick on every little thing I did. I ended up going to the country hills registry and having a great experience.

Very good school! Ismael was my instructor for road lessons. He gave me very technical and safety driven instruction. Took the time to explain situations that I had problems with and help me work on them prior to the road test. I ended up passing on my first try with very few penalty points. The courses are also competitively priced.

Quality Driving School is an amazing way to guarantee passing any road test. The in class takes two days where they use examples specific to the questions similar to ones you will see on the written portion of your driver's education. Bibi was a great teacher! She kept it very interactive and told lots of stories to help you learn. When you take your in class ask for Ismail!! He is a great teacher and because of him I was able to pass my road test before I even finished all of the in car lessons. Even if you are Canada's Worst Driver, by the end of the five lessons with him you will be a great driver. During you last lesson you can do a mimic road test which will give you a good idea of what you need to pay attention to! The experience at Quality was superb and I will be recommending Quality to all my friends, family and anyone else who needs a great driving school. Thank You Quality!!

The Ride to Live 2-day course is very well done. Darren is an excellent instructor - super knowledgeable and engaging. I finished the course feeling fairly confident on a bike after only two days of riding and I was then able to pass my class 6 road test on the first attempt with a perfect score. Another benefit that I hadn't considered before was having the opportunity to try out different styles of bikes. After the course I had a much better idea of the kind of bike I want and if I hadn't taken this course and discussed with the instructors it's likely I would have ended up buying the wrong bike. Well worth the money, thanks very much.

These guys know there stuff and did everything they could to ensure you left the course with the knowledge required to stay safe on the roads. Highly recommend.

I had both my daughters do the GDL driving course with Quality over the last couple of years. The instructors were sill great. We had Susan last year and 3 different guys this year. Ismail, Aman, Henry. And Tina who runs a tight ship is fantastic. Both girls passed the road tests on the first try. Thank you!!

Not the best place to learn driving or build your confidence. Some of the instructors have a bad attitude and they assume that you know everything. For instance, I was given attitude by one the instructors when he asked me to park. It was my first time, I didn't know how to do it and was never coached on how to do it. I pay a lot of money to be thought and not to be given attitude. I've also found out that one of the instructors is the owner of the company (no conflict of interest here). I've learned more in 1 lesson with my sister than the 5 lessons i had with him at 120 per session. No defensive driving course ever suggested or mentioned. At this point, I will complete my training elsewhere and will not be referring these guys to anyone. Don't do like me, take the time to call other places and see your options before wasting your time and money here.

Didn’t attend your school but just drove behind one of your students/teacher. What are you teaching these kids? To drive 10kmh under the speed limit is not safe driving. It just promotes frustration with others around which could lead to road rage. Also, when someone tries to pass because of your slow speed, don’t tell the kid to switch lanes and block that car. It happened twice to me and both times the kid pulled into the “passing lane” when he/she could have stayed in the right lane.

I had such an amazing experience both times. I had Ismail and Don as instructors. I had really terrible anxiety when it comes to driving so I had to take the course twice a couple years apart as I was not feeling confident enough to take my road test. Second time around I had Don and he was amazing! He was super patient, very encouraging and had little abbreviations for things to remember. After that I took 2 refresher course with Don which were informative and fun as always. All in all I had an awesome experience with quality driving!

Although it's only 3 days, the knowledgable and friendly staff help you every step along the way. If you're wondering whether you should get a bike and want to take the time to learn, I cannot recommend this course enough! Make the leap, you know you want to.

Darren and Tina ran a motorcycle course for only two us at the end of the year which I am very grateful for. The level of instruction was fantastic and the amount of road time you get is incredibly valuable. Skills are built in the parking lot then put into action in live environments on the road (school zones, residential roads, hill starts, traffic circles, controlled and uncontrolled intersections, low speed and high speed roads, etc) It was continuous learning on the road and, in my opinion, the amount of road time they provide is absolutely critical in getting you prepped for the class 6 road test. When it came to road test day, Tina went out of her way to meet before the road test so you get time on the test bike, some last minute tips and corrections, and support. I passed on my first try thanks to the "quality" of instruction and skills learned at Quality Driving School. If you are thinking of getting a motorcycle licence, this school is THE BEST for getting you prepped. Thanks Darren and Tina!

I went here to gain knowledge and confidence to pass the class 5 drivers test, which I previously failed. I had Henry for the in class and 3 in car sessions who I would say is a wonderful person. He has a great sense of humour which helps you remember the lessons he is teaching you, he also is calm which helps you feel comfortable in the car. He is their senior driving instructor and has been doing it the longest. I then had 2 in-car lessons with Adam who was also nothing short of an amazing driving instructor, he had great tips and advice to help me become a great driver. I really enjoyed my experience with these instructors and I would recommend them both. They also made me feel like they truly cared, they wanted to know my outcome afterwards taking my road test. Which I passed! :) I also have to say that the secretary of the company was also really great, professional and kind. They are very accommodating and care about their students, their goal is to help you as much as possible. Also added bonus the prices are extremely fair.

Don from Quality driving school was my instructor, he is immensely experienced with all the basic and advanced things one is required to do while driving a car. He is very patient and explains each action every time you ask him. He puts some real life analogies to make you understand the actions you are performing while driving. He is someone who prioritizes "safety first" than being sorry. He has an eye for details and he will ensure you correct all your minor errors . I have heard nothing but wonderful things about her. I have a strong feeling C.E.L.O isn't a very good listener, learner or driver which is why she's probably pointing blame at the instructor. I didn't find Susan insensitive, impatient, intolerant, inconsiderate , overtly hasty or assuming as the below review states, however I do feel that C.E.L.O may hold these traits. anyway, wonderful instructor, wonderful school. 10/10

Fantastic people with very experienced trainers. Had a refresher course with Ismail before my advanced road test and he pointed out some bad habits, as well as what things they would be looking for in the advanced road test. I am so happy I took the refresher, I have definitely forgotten some rules since I was 16! Highly highly recommend!!!

I heard about Quality Driving School through a friend.. Not only are they super friendly but they are affordable and extreamly helpful! I used Quality Driving School to take a refresher course before taking my Road Test and they helped me in my weak areas! I would strongly reccomend them. As well the reception will help you book your test and answer any questions and concerns!

Thanks to the Quality Driving School getting ready for the road test was a very pleasant experience for me. Attending the 2 days in-class course refreshed my theoretical knowledge about driving and prepared me well for the in-car training sessions. I have only superlatives to say about Ismail, my in-car lessons instructor. Although I've never driven a car in my life before starting the lessons with Ismail,he was able to teach me and get me ready for the road test in just 10 in-car hours practice. He is an extremely patient and incredibly talented instructor, an amazing professional who makes the learner understand the the basics first, and from there helps you build valuable driving habits. He teaches you how to make adequate decisions based on analysis of the road conditions. I do recommend Quality Driving School to anybody who is looking for quality and professional services. My son registered for the driving course. His instructor was Richard Kovacs. He has learned so much in such a short amount of time! Richard has built up my sons confidence in driving. I really had a good time learning again to ride a motorcycle after several years from a school whose staff are willing to offer time and compassion when helping or teaching stubborn students like me.....Million thanks to Staffing particularly to Tina who is always helpful, very approachable and kind; Michael as my hands on instructor is very understandable and considerate especially when I made mistakes during our parking lot training on motorcycle; Darren as my in-class instructor is considered jolly person at times and yet serious when pointing out motorcycle stuff; last but not the least, Ismail is awesome guy who shows compassion and passion with his work, he is the kind of person who has lots of patience and encouragement and put confidence to students like me..... Ismail helped me a lot and spent tremendous time in teaching the proper motorcycle skill just to see me more confident and safe while on the road. Can't find words to thank him and all of you. All of you are already in my list of good friends. Overall, I was not just able to re-learn on riding a motorcycle but I have also found great people that I would not hesitate to recommend to any one. I am so happy I chose Quality Driving School. I did the online course which was well done. But most of all, the in-car was great. I was terrified before-had never tried driving. David was the best instructor!! He made me feel so relaxed and confident and taught me everything so kindly. I cannot say enough how much I would recommend them. As I was so new to motorcycle, I was interested to register for motorcycle driving school. I was searching around for a good motorcycle driving school but not sure which one to choose from as there are so many places teaching motorcycle in Calgary. I read the reviews and chose to go with Motology Driving School. I paid quite high as compared to other places in the hope to have good lessons. I was successfully completed the classes but got some weakness that instructors recommended to practice some more before going for road test. The instructor said she will contact me shortly. I was waiting and waiting and I wrote the emails to Motology and expressed to take new lessons to practice for my road test. Nobody replied since then. After waiting for two months, I got stuck and had to find another place to offer private or road test prep course. I got a few replies including the one from Quality Driving school. Quality Driving school replied promptly and managed to arrange road test prep course for me before my road test in two weeks. It was not easy to have this offering in the summer. The instructor was so nice and gave me a lot of tips for my road test. Unfortunately, I was failing my first road test as I stalled the motorcycle many times. I called Tina at Quality Driving school office and expressed to have another private road test prep course to improve my weakness. She replied promptly and arranged me to have another session with another instructor and gave me a special discount for the session and the motorcycle rental for road test. If you had the bike, the instructor could come to pick you up at your house if you wanted to practice with your own bike. I did not know there was such an option. Like previous instructor, this instructor was very nice and kind and taught me a lot of tips to avoid stalling my bike. I learned quickly and able to manage my clutch very well. Unfortunately, I failed my second road test again as I was so nervous and stalled my bike again. I quickly booked for another road test at the registry and managed to pass it for the third time as I managed to stay calm during my road test. I wished I could have started with Quality Driving school so I did not have to waste a lot of my summer time waiting for responses from Motology. I would strongly recommend anyone to start learning motorcycle with Quality Driving school.

Excellent school for learning. Had great team help me brush up my motorcycle skills and get used to city riding. Learnt a lot of important facts that I wasn't aware of coming over from the uk. Instructors go out there way to make course days and lessons fit your needs. Big thumbs up!

They call you to follow up, confirm course times, and to just check in on you during the entire process. You can tell that they really care about you and want you to excel. Wonderful, professional and most experienced team in the town . Darren is absolutely the best , his teaching techniques are absolutely phenomenal, Tina is wonderful and organized, she reminded me every day of my training followed by an email , i passed the motorcycle road test with the guidance from Darren , if any one are looking to learn , I would say this institution is the best in town .

I am really happy I chose this driving school. I was able to finish up the in class lessons in one weekend, and was able to get my in car lessons relatively close to one another. I had Sisay and Richard for my in car instructors and was so pleased! Both very calm and taught me so much. I was able to pass my road test no problem!! The school is also on the cheaper side. Highly recommend. :)

I took a pre test prep lesson before my class 6 road test. I have severe anxiety which often gets the best of me when I am stressed. Ismail was a great instructor, very patient and positive.
