A very nice hotel, better than all the other Canaltas we stayed at. Looks fairly new. If I get picky I’d say the linens could be improved. Otherwise great.

I really recommend this hotel! The staff goes above and beyond if you have any requests. They helped me set up decorations in my friend's room as a surprise for their engagement! The rooms are also very clean and the location is perfect.

The Room was nice comfy and clean but the overall customer service was lacking. Did not feel welcomed upon arrival, employee seemed more concerned with her conversation then us. We also took part in the free S'mores, we received the packages and went out to the fire only to receive stale cookies and marshmallows that we couldn't even enjoy eating them, then rushed out by the front desk person as they were closing the patio for the evening. When I approached to let them know about the stale products she completely ignored me. I sent in a review through there website and had the manager contact me asking me to email or call them, with no information given on how to do so I replied to the email giving them my information to contact me, been over 10 days and I haven't heard from them. I guess management care just as little as the staff.

Stayed early August. We had a huge corner room with a balcony on the second floor. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which came in super handy. Everything was very clean! Even during covid, the hotel had a free hot buffet breakfast where you'd line up and kitchen staff would hand you what you wanted (eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes). It's one of the farther hotels from the main downtown area, but it's only about a 15 min walk. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great front desk staff who made the stay wonderful. Had a large party in August and allowed us to do our thing within Covid regulations. Very flexible and accommodating. Quarters were excellent as was gym. Hot tubs were fun

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms. Our rooms were facing the patio/hot tub so we always had to close our blinds which was a shame. The reason why I gave it a 3 star is of how they dealt with the COVID situation. At breakfast, there was absolutely no structure, room for social distancing, and people could just sit wherever without any staff ever wiping down the tables. We stayed there for 3 nights and every day it was the same. Nobody ever asked us any health questions either, compared to other hotels we had stayed at who were super organized. Front desk was also not wearing any masks. We even talked about it to front desk staff and they said: " we are doing our best". Also, parking is not free! And if you're arriving later, like we did after a long drive, we had to find street parking. That's the last thing you want to do then. I'm in Banff at least 2 times/year and I've stayed in multiple great hotels on Banff Ave so after this I'm questioning a bit if I'll return to this hotel.
