I got my class 1 in 2011 at CCA and now I'm driving some of the biggest stuff on the roads. My licence is the most valuable thing I have. My last company laid everyone off and before I got home I had three job interviews because I have a class 1 from CCA. If you're thinking about it it's worth it. You will never be unemployed. Top notch training. Lots of hands on and class time. Great instructors. Cost of the course has literally paid for itself thousands of times over. *Edit If you see a bad review on here it was probably a failed student. This isn't a rubber stamp course. It's real training. Some people just can't drive big equipment.

CCA made getting my class 3 license super easy and simple, my instructor that I had (Brian) was super funny and even more helpful he helped me understand every part of the test and knew exactly how to prepare. Everybody in the office and out was super patient and friendly. Thanks to everyone at CCA and they’re help. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their license to take it through CCA.

CCA is an amazing school with a patient staff ready to answer all your questions and make sure you are ready.I knew nothing about air brakes and trucks before this course and I passed all my theory tests and driving test the first time. This school is absolutely by far one of the best schools in Calgary the staff is absolutely amazing and will do everything they can to make sure that you understand what you're doing before your road test they are all easy to get along with and teach you with great confidence that you can do it. I went last year for my Air Brakes and Class 3 and I'm currently attending to upgrade to a Class 1. The instructors are very professional and friendly not to mention helpful. They aren't just there to get you through the test they are their to help you become a successful professional driver. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to learn to drive larger trucks.

The entire staff at CCA were amazing. Recently did the air brake course and class 1 training here and the knowledge of the instructors was second to none. When I went in I had very minimal knowledge of air brake systems or how to drive a truck and what they taught me in the short time I was there earned me my class 1 on my first attempt. After successful completion of my class 1 road test I had a talk with a couple of the managers about finding companies that hire drivers with little experience and they gave me all the information they had of companies that they knew hired entry level drivers. As I sit here now I can say I have found a driving position and am able to start my knew career as a professional driver and it's all thanks to the staff at CCA. Everything they do is to teach people how to become the best professinal drivers they can be and help the industry employ better and safer drivers.I would or rather will be recommending everyone I meet who wants to get into the industry or is looking to improve their skills to go to CCA.

Very good school. Came in to take my Class 1 training. Had zero knowledge about trucking before coming and I passed the examiners test on my first attempt. Trucks were always clean and in good condition. Instructors were proffesional but also down-to earth and did their very best to help me succeed.

Best driving school in western canada. Suggestion for everyone if you are thinking about class 1 then come to cca and take advanced course here it’s expensive but it’s worth it. Terry the instructor he is awesome. All staff is very good except 2

Took my airbrake course there. They covered every possible thing you ll need to know as a beginner. Instructor was very experienced and have been doing this for few decades. He shared his own and others incidents and how they could have been prevented. Definitely recommend that school.

The courses they offer are informative and interactive. They include you in the classroom course and make it an enjoyable experience. Their equipment is kept in good clean and working order. 10/10 would return for additional training

Was told by an instructor when I took the training that driving a rig like that may not be for me as I dont have rhythm (for shifting). That was my second time in a truck. Makes me laugh looking back.. I can shift any truck now and have taught countless people at my work over the years how to do so. Their instructor was not only wrong but negative and not encouraging. They have nice trucks. That's my only positive with this place. Otherwise, in my opinion, the area sucks for new (nervous) drivers to learn the skills. Way too congested.

I took my air brake course here 11 years ago and also sat through it for a refresher 2 weeks ago. Recently just upgraded to my class 1. The training is second to none. The instructors make you feel very comfortable and relaxed and get right down to business and teach you everything you need to know. They offer real life advice on what to expect on the open road. The only place I would recommend to future drivers.

Taking the advanced course at CCA provided me a professional, real world learning experience. The structure of the courses and driving time are well thought out. Having a number of different instructors all of whom provided valuable insights, knowledge and attitude, created a very deep well of real world wisdom for me to draw on. As a green horn to trucking, Their instruction was invaluable to my gaining personal confidence and giving me enough street cred to get a job. A lot of their instruction still echoes in my head as I drive each day.

I just went through CCA truck driver training and obtained my class 1 license. Best decision to go with these guys. Awesome trainers, very knowledgable. Extremely patient and understanding. All of them. Maddison and Yvonne at the counter were kind and explained things very clearly for the duration of the program. Don’t waste your time and $ with anyone else for training. They are smooth operators that get you established as a safe, educated and confident driver. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

Boss put me through class 3 and air brake here. Everyone here makes you feel right at home from the office staff to all the instructors I dealt with. I just finished the class 1 melt program and i had a fantastic experiance with CCA and all the instructors. The instructors and the owner are very nice and knowledgeable, only a select few think that they yell but they DON'T, they want to make sure that you can hear them over the noise of the trucks. They do an awesome job making sure that you get what they are teaching you because they really do care that u get everything that you can to pass the exam. I would highly recommend CCA to everyone interested in truck driving school. New update on my experience with CCA, after only a month since my course completion i passed my driving exam, a HUGE shout out to all the staff at CCA especially the owner. when your company send you for driving evaluation, the instructor didn't tell you exactly what is wrong with your driving at the end but he said you did well . next day you find failed report sent to your company. I think these poeple is not trustfully either to get a good training to get your license or for driving evaluation so they are unfair need you to pay for extra hours

Bad place to waste your money and time... I would never recommend this place. Few instructors are ok. Rest are crazy.. use all f word.. yell on you. Front desk and owner..they are icing on the cake.....and if you are immigrant... Good luck...... you will get the best treatment you can ever imagine ????????????... Run if you are from different ethnic background... there are lot of other schools where they know how to talk.. I hope this school will close soon with all the junks in their yard????????

Absolutely recommend. Brian was very helpful, informative, and friendly. They treat you like a human, not a number. I passed my road test with flying colours after doing the 8 hour driving course. When I upgrade my license again I will definitely be back.

One of the worst school in Calgary. Before coming to this school my friends told me that this is the best school. Instructors do not know how to talk and they always yell to students. This is a school where teachers to be polite. This review only give one star but I give them -10. AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOLL AND WASTE YOUR MONEY.
