To this day this firm has a rating of 5 stars out of 5 and this score was based on 55 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is excellent, indeed, it gets the best score it can earn., and it's founded on a high number of opinions, so we may say that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

After organizing numerous skiing and climbing programs with Jeff, I finally got a chance to come along on one myself. Jeff's wealth of experience and good nature made for a fantastic weekend of learning and adventure. I would highly recommend Alpine Air Adventures to anyone looking for a top-notch guide in the Rockies!
After 4 trips booked through Alpine Air Adventures I can honestly say I would recommend this guiding company to anyone. Jeff and the guides he enlists work closely with the guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. I hope to be in the mountains with Jeff in the future!
We did an intro to ice climbing with Maarten. He was incredibley knowledgable and professional. He providided a true adventure or 'extreme experiance' while always keeping safety first. Their climbing equipent was both new and high end. This is a high quality operation.
Thanks again Jeff for a great adventure!
Jeff is a down to earth, incredible person with the most amazing experience. Modest and personable, Jeff really knows what he's talking about. Adaptable to any group, he will encourage you to push yourself, and teach you the instincts to prevent being in a dangerous environment. Would recommend Jeff Bullock to everyone I know, thanks Jeff for the experience and knowledge.
Highly, highly, highly recommended. If at all deliberating about getting out with Alpine Air Adventures: don’t. You will definitely not regret spending time with these guys, as this is far from your average “tour” experience; it’s pure bucket-list. Myself and a buddy recently spent the day with Jeff, and he was incredible - such a fantastic day. 2:1 guided rock climbing in Banff, and we loved every second. Jeff was patient (even with a complete novice like myself), and tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted, and the conditions of the day. Just ten minutes from meeting Jeff, I felt 100% comfortable, and knew I was in the most expert of hands. Jeff is incredibly patient and extremely knowledgeable, with a relaxed, super-friendly approach – not to mention an awesome sense of humour that makes it feel like you’re out on an adventure with a good friend. I could not recommend Jeff and AAA more. Amazing – can’t wait to go out with them again.
We contacted Jeff month's in advance regarding a guide to Abbott's Pass. He was very responsive and informative - we were all practically novice, but he put us at ease and made everything easy. Everything was reasonably priced. If you have the chance to have food catered for your trip...don't even think twice, do it! We had 6 in our group, our guide was very informative, patient, friendly and up for anything. Overall it was an excellent experience - we'll be visiting again.
We have been going on mountaineering and ski trips with Jeff Bullock for about five years now. Most recently, we climbed Mt. Athabasca with Jeff in August 2020. No matter what the adventure, we love Jeff’s approach to guiding. We always feel safe going with him and always have a great time. Jeff brings humility, humour, honesty, a passion for teaching and great stories. We will continue to do our dream trips with Jeff and Alpine Air Adventures in the future! Mike & Feli
I'm so glad I took the course with Alpine Adventures. Jeff was an amazing instructor and very thorough in his lessons. I'll definitely be reaching out again if I am looking for guided trips or additional training + certifications.
Was out with Jeff/AAA for a few days - totally awesome! Always felt safe skiing/climbing, and we were able to pick objectives to match my skills/goals, and work to push my confidence on bigger things. Already looking forward to our next trip out.
Jeff has the ability to make you feel at ease in the mountains. His quick humour and his technical knowledge allow you to learn and explore in an environment that is comfortable, safe and super fun!
Just did the 'Weekend Warrior' trip to get a feel for ski touring. Both guides (Tamara and Jeff) passed us a ton of valuable info and it was exactly the type of intro to the backcountry I was hoping for. Furthermore, the views, terrain, and skiing were beyond my expectations. I'm already looking into doing another trip with AAA this season! Update: a few years and many more trips later, and I'm standing by my initial 5 stars. The more I do, the more I've come to appreciate the volume of knowledge and skill Jeff and his guides bring into the backcountry.
Jeff is an exceptional individual and excellent mountain guide. Our climb up Athabasca was a truly amazing experience. I saw a sea of mountain peaks that I had never seen before. Alpine air adventures offers in my opinion the best value for money when it comes to alpine climbing. Highly recommended!
Incredible value. Incredible staff. Great professional communication. We did the Beginner Ice Climbing in Banff, $180/person. It was me and my Gf. I've only ice climbed once 3 years ago and she's never ice climbed. Both avid rock climbers. Group size of 7. Some in in the group had no experience and never have seen snow! Even the beginners did awesome and had fun. Surprisingly, the guide, Josh, managed the whole group very well and we got on the ice to climb quite a bit. Shout out to Richard for great operational management and Josh being an amazing guide. 5 stars, I highly recommend
We've been out with Jeff and his AAA guides so many times that I've stopped counting! It has ranged the gamut over the years, including backcountry skiing and rapping into couloirs, dialing in our multi-pitch rock climbing skills on alpine objectives, slashing endless powder at Rogers Pass, heading up to Fay glacier for some alpine climbing, learning how to trad climb, taking a rope rescue course, and now just this past weekend swinging ice tools and climbing up ice pillars. It goes withouth saying Jeff and his team of guides are extremely passionate about their job and spend a lot of time customizing adventures based on your objectives and level of ability. The level of professionalism and attention to safety (while keeping the fun factor extremely high) are important reasons why we keep coming back, ever since our first time out with Jeff when my son was 11 yrs old. Get a hold of Jeff and his team and plan your next adventure!
Highly recommend! Our guide Josh was engaging and extremely knowledgeable and the whole week was filled with one-of-a-kind alpine climbing experiences. I am already planning my next adventure with AAA!
We had an amazing experiential ice climbing trip for our honeymoon with Larry. He was so fun, helpful, and encouraging and we got a lot of climbing in. Will definitely book again! Thanks for the awesome time Larry!
Had a great weekend getting more comfortable climbing outside. Completed our first multi-pitch and learned lots over the weekend to help us feel comfortable and more secure climbing outside. Highly recommend was awesome and 110% worth it. Christian Schlumpf was a great guide!
Took my AST2 course with AAA this January/February. The experience was excellent, I learned so much about safe terrain and route selection, I would recommend these guys to anyone. They were very flexible about where and what areas we toured in, and helped our group make our own decisions without imposing on the decision making process.
We went ice climbing in Johnston Canyon. Jeff our guide was very informative, helpful, and overall professional! The experience was beyond my expectations. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Jeff was Amazing! We had a fantastic time climbing. Jeff is knowledgeable, lots of fun, snd had our safety in mind the whole time. Can’t wait to come back and climb with Alpine Air Adventures again!
Fantastic AST course! Small group, well executed and professionally run. Great content and relevance. Thanks for the rad weekend!
Jeff knows his stuff and makes even the coldest of days more enjoyable. I will definitely be booking more trips through these guys.
Our guide Phil was amazing! We went rock climbing with my 5 & 7 year old and he was very knowledgeable & encouraging while keeping their safety in mind. The kids learned a lot while having a great time. I would use their services again. It was awesome!!
My wife and I spent one day in Rogers Pass with Tamara and one day near Jasper with Jeff. They were both amazing and we found great snow to ski on both days. Tamara and Jeff were considerate of our ability levels and gave us great tips/advice. We were looking for something that challenged us, which we definitely accomplished, but they managed to make the whole experience super fun! They are very knowledgeable of the area, so it was great getting their perspective (especially as east coast skiers). Looking forward to a return trip in the future!
I've taken crevasse rescue and avalanche safety training 2 with Alpine Air. Both courses were interesting, informative and fun. Jeff is a great teacher . You can feel comfortable asking him questions and he'll take you to some cool places in the Rockies.
Jeff was a fantastic guide for our Family Day Asulkan weekend. Turned out there was a SPAW (Special Public Avalanche Warning) issued the same weekend. Since our group is newer to touring (within the last year), we were pretty thankful to have a highly experienced expert to show us around. We were headed up the headwall to Young's Peak, turned around and called it due to snow instability. Not only was he an excellent guide, but also a great addition to the group atmosphere. Thanks again AAA!
I had never thought to take a guided hiking tour to Morraine Lake, but to be able to easily access the hike, we booked in a guide, which included transportation and a packed lunch. Our guide, Anne Drew was professional, and a natural teacher as she guided us along on our hike. She explained details around safety in hiking which we had not considered in the past, including temperature control to limit sweating, and staying in safe heart rate zones to allow us to have "reserve" left should we need it. The whole experience of the day was thoroughly enjoyable. Anne Drew was conversational and educational in her approach. I would do this tour again.
We had a wonderful single day tour with Jeff as a couple that is pretty new to backcountry. He was very accommodating, assessed our risk tolerance well, and let us pepper him with questions all day about decision making in the backcountry. The skiing was also wonderful, and the views were incredible. We’ll definitely be back to see him!
Alpine Air Adventures, Jeff and his team were professional/supportive/very knowledgeable, and provided a memorable weekend splitboarding-ski touring! Thanks!
I recently went on a 5 day ski touring trip guided by Jeff and Jason (assistant guide). As a strong skier with limited backcountry experience Jeff and Jason were very knowledgeable and helpful with tips on technique and feedback on the mountains and terrain. It was a fantastic experience with days spent searching and skiing unforgettable powder runs. I highly recommend them and Alpine for any backcountry adventures.
We had a great day climbing near Banff with Phil. The tour was really fun and challenging but appropriate for our level. Would definitely recommend!
Did a day hike last week, great experience. Well organised, really enjoyable. Kris
Mine and my father's trip was an adventure of a lifetime. The team made us feel very safe a prepared for what we were tackling and were always open to customization to fit our skills and preferences. It's nearly impossible to verbalize or explain the insanity and that was this adventure. It's something that can only truly be understood by doing it yourself which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to bring home a story that none of their friends will believe.
I have been on multiple trips with Alpine Air Adventures and I am always impressed with the level of skill and decision making when it comes to safety in the mountains. I choose to go with Alpine Air Adventures because Jeff is very flexible and easy to book with. I am able to get a small custom trip and an experience I wouldn't get with a big operator. Whether its skiing or climbing big mountains, or rock and ice climbing AAA will give you a great experience in the hills!
Jeff took my friend and I on our first backcountry split board a few days ago. An absolutely incredible experience I would recommend to anyone who enjoys skiing/snowboarding. Jeff was super knowledgeable and an all around pleasure to hang out with.
Jeff Bullock took our group of six split boarders on the AST 2 before Christmas. We got some really great hands on experience touring around the Rogers Pass area and finished off with a day in the Kicking Horse back country. Jeff was extremely professional, informative, realistic, and patient. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in the outdoors. He answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of freedom to choose and explore various routes in the back country. He showed us how much fun the back country is but also instilled in us confidence in risk management while traveling through avalanche terrain. I highly recommend Jeff Bullock for any person for any course in the outdoors!
AAA exceeded all my expectations, could not have been any better.
I have done a number of trips with Jeff - an incredible guide. Highly recommend him to anyone.
Organized amazing tours for me while I was in Banff.I learned to rock climb and the next day I did a multi-pitch climb. I also did the Sulphur Mountain trek. The guides were excellent and I had so much fun! Would love to do more tours with them!
AST1 Good course, patient friendly instructors (Jeff and Amish), first day zoom class and second day out at Bow Summit. Little chilly -20 morning, warmed up nicely, layering up and bringing extra puff jacket was a good call. Enjoyed and would recommend it
Humble, personable, and incredibly informed, Jeff is an excellent guide. On a three day Leadership Development program with the Alpine Club, I learned a tremendous amount while we skied, planned and toured in 'tricky' conditions. While we took turns leading, Jeff was an excellent coach providing us with tips and strategies on how to create effective and safe up-tracks. Planning and decision making was done as a whole group, as we collaboratively identified terrain features, snow conditions and weather patterns. An awesome and exhausting three days of powder skiing, bush whacking and learning. Jeff was able to tour the days to the needs of all the individual skiing and touring abilities. I'm hoping to be back for another session with Jeff in the future.
We loved our climbing day with Christian. He understood our expectations and took us to a great place for our level. The whole process was professional and safe, yet it never felt too rigid and we were able to have fun. I definitely recommend to anyone.
My partner Jen and I had 2 days splitboarding in the Lake Louise area with AAA. Jeff and Tamara were both super friendly and easy to get along with as well as extremely professional and knowledgeable. Both days were exactly what we had hoped for and more, and we were able to learn so much from Jeff and Tamara’s expertise on the mountain. We had some of the best runs of our lives and will definitely contact Jeff and AAA when we are next in Banff for more adventures.
We went rock climbing in Sunshine Village with Phil. Great instructor! After getting us through all the basics of rock climbing we started the day with a quite easy climb. Through the day the difficulty increased which made it very challenging. We never felt unsafe and were very satisfied at the end! Perfect day! Would recommend it to everybody!!
Awesome teacher, very safe climber and guide. Learned a lot and had a great day with him on Mount Louis. Will always recommend him to friends.
Jeff and his team worked with me to co-ordinate a private companion rescue course. Great communication throughout. Our Guide Larry was awesome, super knowledgeable and made things fun, interesting and challenging. It really showed and added a ton of value that he took the time to assess individual abilities and work on skills at their level so everyone got a lot from the day as well as developing group dynamics in multiple varied scenarios. Thanks for getting our crew up to speed for the season Larry.
After completing courses in crevasse rescue and ice climbing techniques with Jeff, I would recommend him to anyone interested in learning and enhancing their mountain skills. Jeff's skill and professionalism, attention to safety, and his willingness to adapt to your level of experience provided for an excellent learning environment for all. Thanks Jeff!
Jeff, our guide, was highly professional and competent. He was very diligent about investigating weather and conditions on the glacier. He wasn't overly cautious, however, which was welcome in light of the fact that that we were interested in an adventure. Also consistent with the company name.
Incredible experience in the Canadian Rocky Mountains! The backcountry skiing camp Whithorn in April 2021 was exactly the adventure I was looking for. Special, authentic, adventurous, challenging and all this in a great company. Jeff has the perfect character for a mountain guide and provides a lot of fun in the mountains! The organization was excellent and I can only rave about the tours, camp, food, etc.. Thank you for this great life experience! Dankeschön für die geile Zeit! Grazie mille per questa figata pazzesca!
