I would highly recommend this driving school and I'm happy I signed up with them. Brent was my classroom teacher and he made the concepts easy to comprehend and kept everyone engaged. Francis (in-car instructor) and Drashko (brush-up lesson instructor) both made me feel so much more confident in my driving. I learned new things every time I got in the car and I was able to pass the road test on my first try!

Prior to attending A Proactive Driving School, I had zero to no experience behind the wheel. I lacked confidence in my ability to drive, and never expected to be able to drive on busy major road ways, or major highways. Without John Odlum's confidence and belief in me (John was my both my in-class, and in-car instructor), I wouldn't have been able to make so much progress within a short amount of time. Within my 10 hours of driving lessons with John, his expertise and patience allowed me to confidently drive in Downtown, on major highways, and road ways I never expected to be able to drive on. Just recently, I took a road trip driving to and from Banff - something I don't think would have been possible without the practice that came from attending this school. With the help of John's instructing, and working with my Father in between lessons, I was able to pass my basic road test on my first try with flying colours. I would recommend A Proactive Driving School and John Odlum as their instructor for anyone's driver's education needs. I am now a confident, proactive, insurance reduced, Class 5 GDL driver, thanks to John Odlum and everyone at A Proactive Driving School.

I had such a great experience with this school. I called to book one of their two hour brush up courses. I initially was booked for Friday morning, but the lady who had answered the phone was exceptionally kind enough to call me back and book me in for a sooner date when someone cancelled, because she knew I was looking for something asap. (I've learned her name is Luba. Thank you Luba for being so kind and warmly welcoming me.) I was already really happy and thankful to her at that point. She gave me an incredible first impression. My brush up course was this afternoon, I was with Darcey. He was funny and very honest, which I appreciated and enjoyed. He made me feel less nervous which I struggle with. ( I think we all do, lol.) He was very patient with me, happy to answer all of my questions, and taught me how to take turns better, analyze my surroundings more, and made me feel MUCH better about hill parking! I learned what I should spend some time working on prior to taking my test, and it made me feel so much better! I just wasn't giving myself proper credit and this course helped to boost my confidence so that I can believe in myself more. Darcey was a great person to learn from and I am more thankful to him and to A Proactive Driving School than I could write out in this review. Thank you very much!

I spent 15 hours doing my in class insurance reduction course and 10 hours on the road with an instructor at this school. Brent, my in class teacher did an amazing job keeping the class interesting and informative. For the 10 hours I spent behind the wheel, I had John Odlum as my instructor. John was very knowledgeable and was flexible with driving times. (I had a two week long trip in the middle of my lessons, and completed the last three sessions with John nearly one month later) At the end of the driving sessions as well as some practicing with my dad, I was able to pass my Class 5 GDL road test in one try. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a great experience when learning to drive.

John is such a good teacher, I don't think I would be able to pass the advance road test without him. I took a two hour brush up with a different school close to where I live but I felt like that class was a waiste of time. The next day I went for my exam and failed very badly. I was told that I made many mistakes, went above the speed limit, I'm lacking caucion and confidence etc. Not sure what to do I book another class with John as he was my teacher couple of years ago when I was getting my GDL licence- and I remember I passed the basic test with a flying colors. So I took 2 hours with John and I found it very very helpful! I went for another exam-and passed with only 40 domeric points, not to mention that the examiner told me that I'm a very good driver and everybody should drive like I did! I highly, highly recommend John as a driving teacher for anyone. Top quality instructions on how to drive properly, showing rules and techniques to be a good and safe driver. Look no where else for driving lessons.

Good content and had a good structure on knowledge to pass on. Darcy Chubb was my in-vehicle instructor. He finished 10 mins early 3/5 days, totals to half an hour thus was not cost effective considering lessons are not cheap. He isn't too date with his knowledge as he said some of the things were specific to do for the road test which wasn't the case; found that out the hard way when doing the test. Brent was the in-class instructor. Very knowledgeable however shared a little too much of his personal politic views and stories. Didn't think it was professional nor suitable for the class age.

Attending Proactive driving school was great decision and I am glad for that. I had the pleasure of having John as my driving instructor and I must say he is a skilled instructor. I had zero driving experience however, John made it seam easy and with time I built confidence in driving. John is calm, polite, always on-time and he patiently corrected my mistakes which helped my on more advance roads. He is also very encouraging and that made me feel at ease. A Proactive Driving School is by far the best driving school here in Calgary. John was amazing. He was very patient and kind but is very serious and really strict on the road. I didn't expect that almost all days scheduled for my driving lessons with John would be dry and cold and the roads are filled with snow. I was very anxious I might drive into someone's car or even going head to head with another car. He gave me a lot of tips and points to remember when it comes to winter driving especially when it comes to the speed of the car, braking, and parking. John always reminded me to go slow on roads covered with thick and very loose snow because it's going to drag the car against the way you want it to go. When it comes to braking, he taught me to put on my foot on the brakes a earlier than the usual because it's going to give more room for you to make adjustments. Finally, when it comes to parking, John taught me become cautious and park with utmost care because it's hard to make the car move especially when you want to go slow but the car won't move so you have to put on your foot to the accelerator. Overall, I would recommend this school and I am very grateful to John for giving his best and imparting his knowledge based on what I needed to know and what I needed to improve on.

Proactive did a great job in offering the online program. They were prompt in their responses and all the steps involved in attaining the licence were clearly explained. Learning in winter allowed me to get some experience driving on snow as well. John was my instructor and he was very experienced and helped me pass the test on the first go. John, my instructor is a very thoughtful and friendly teacher and has a bunch of little tricks that help you stay safe and sound when driving but still getting you places on time.

A Proactive Driving School is by far the best in Calgary. I haven't had an instructor as patient and kind as John. He has great knowledge about driving and lots of important tips to give you to ensure that you are a safer and better driver. To be honest, before I could even drive a vehicle, I was extremely petrified about the roads and super anxious all the time when I have to drive. Choosing proactive driving school was a good choice, I passed my test on my first try with only 20 demetrics points! I had no driving experience and I have not sat behind the wheel before and I could not even imagine that I'll be driving my own car now. I took 20 hours course and received very good service. My instructor's name was John. He was a wonderful instructor, gave me a lots of confidence and properly taught me how to drive a car and also walked me thru the test so I knew what to expect and how to pass it. I took extra classes before the test and used their car when taking the test. I went from zero experience to feeling comfortable driving and it was a pleasure to learn with John. My experience in "A Proactive Driving School" has been very positive. I have thoroughly enjoyed the instructors provided both for the classroom and the driving portion of the program. Inside the classroom everything was explained clearly and in multiple ways, if anyone misunderstood or had any further questions about the rules, or the topics such as acceleration through turns there would be a couple of examples provided. The variety of experience that Brent Johnson brings to the classroom was very useful as he was able to explain a lot in terms of car maintenance, transmissions, general how to's, what to do if you are stuck in different situations on the road ect. For the driving portion John Odlum was very calm, consice and mannered. He maintains a very cool head useful for anyone who is anxious about driving. He always explains things calmy with lots of examples to back up what he is talking about. He makes sure to take you to different areas of the city to get you familiar with the roads and always reaffirms what you know about the rules before you move on to a new area. Ultimately, the experience was always positive and I'd recommend this to anyone learning how to drive.

This is undoubtedly the best driving school in Calgary. I don't think I was absolutely hopeless when I started driving and Drashko first began giving me lessons, but I'm absolutely positive that my ability level increased by 1000%. My initial anxiety was properly dealt with (even to this day because of these lessons), I felt incredibly comfortable and if anything - I would look forward to my lessons, and I developed a great sense of confidence paired with a much needed respect for the road. A proactive driving school went above and beyond the call of duty for driving lessons, they left an impact that influenced the very way I drive to this day and I couldn't be more appreciative of what they (Drashko) did for me. This is undoubtedly the best driving school in Calgary. I don't think I was absolutely hopeless when I started driving and Drashko first began giving me lessons, but I'm absolutely positive that my ability level increased by 1000%. My initial anxiety was properly dealt with (even to this day because of these lessons), I felt incredibly comfortable and if anything - I would look forward to my lessons, and I developed a great sense of confidence paired with a much needed respect for the road. A proactive driving school went above and beyond the call of duty for driving lessons, they left an impact that influenced the very way I drive to this day and I couldn't be more appreciative of what they (Drashko) did for me. I've been searching for the best driving school in Calgary and I could say that A ProActive Driving School is the best! First, I started with the classroom lessons with Brent who made the discussion very light, interactive and informative. Most people would say that classroom sessions are boring but not with Brent! Second, Luba is such an amazing receptionist and is very flexible with any changes and whatnot. She is very accommodating as well as approachable too! Lastly, I requested John Odlum as my driving instructor based on the other reviews and I was not mistaken! It was my first time hands-on driving and of course there's the fear and nervousness but not with John! He knows very well what he is teaching and is very attentive to the environment. Also, he is extremely patient and encouraging to his students. I've become so comfortable with my driving skills and would definitely recommend this school to everyone especially those who doesn't have any driving experience like me!

John is not only knowledgeable, precise, and patient, but he's also an extraordinary human being with a strong moral compass and a passion for creating safe, proactive drivers. I have learned so much from him (even after a mere 3 lessons) and I couldn't be more thankful. No matter what level of driving you're at, he will always have something valuable to share with you. I found the curriculum bloated and a good chunk of it unnecessary however this is out of the school's control as it is provincially governed. My experience with my theory instructor was personally unfavourable. I’m sure they do well with other audiences but I felt that with me it wasn’t a good fit, I approached them before class regarding my concerns and was assured that this would be addressed later in the course material. I felt that this didn’t come to fruition early enough, classrooms are far from my cup tea and the teaching method wasn’t conducive to making this experience any easier. I don't think that having the first class go until the late evening and then the subsequent one starting the next morning made this any easier either, I believe they have a “two day” option though instead of “two and a half”. Luba (Manager) had been fantastic through this entire experience, she went above and beyond, even during her time off. I was unhappy with the classroom experience and she transitioned me over the very same day to the online curriculum and registered me for driving classes with John who was a godsend; very humble, patient and kind man. From this point on my experience was purely positive, John and Luba both demonstrated an enormous level of professionalism, care and passion for their work. It completely turned around my entire experience. Luba is a pleasure to deal with and I hope your lucky enough to get John as an instructor. His schedule gets full quick so book him if you can! My advice; if you are the type that learns better through conventional means like a classroom then I’m sure you will have a better experience than I did. If you are like me and want concise and quick points to get through the content quickly and efficiently then I recommend the online curriculum. Not only did I have the comfort of my own home but for me It was so much faster and easier. I was able to absorb the information more easily and get it done in a fraction of the time... And I procrastinated/dawdled; this may not be the same for everyone but for me it was the right fit and I’m thankful for Luba guiding me in that direction. John and Luba both deserve a 6 out of 5 star rating but I have to give an overall 3 out of 5 stars due to my experience in the classroom.

After my car accident I started experiencing fear to drive, anxiety and panic attacks, especially on unfamiliar roads. And this worked like a therapy for me since I was essentially asking myself to face one of my greatest fears, which was..driving. By having my driving instructor walked me through driving procedures, and especially through the place of accident, I gained a clearer sense of control and the environment around me whenever I drive. Plus, with a tremendous help of my instructor, I feel like I have improved, which definitely boosted my confidence and skills. I had a positively great experience here, undoubtedly. Driving has been a bit of a stressor for a while and A Proactive really helped with that. Both teachers I worked with were always helpful and knowledgeable, which helped if I didn’t find myself understanding in the traditional way. I never felt like I wasn’t under good supervision. I was looking for a driving school in the internet and stumbled upon A Proactive Driving School. It caught my attention since it has high ratings & a lot of good reviews so I decided to register & enrol myself. I didn’t really mind who I’d have as my instructor but I am lucky to have John who happened to be mentioned a lot in the reviews. Just like most of his reviews it’s true he is calm and patient. Before I even started my lesson with him, I was anxious & nervous because I had no experience driving on the road but my first lesson driving I didn’t feel as anxious/nervous as I thought I would. It turned out pretty good & so I’m looking forward to our next lessons. So far so good & I would recommend. ???? Update: June 23, 2018 - I passed my Class 5 Basic road test today. I had a total of 10 hours driving lesson with John and we did a brush up before I took the test. It was my first take (note: I am a first time driver with no driving experience) and I couldn't be more happy and grateful for having John as my instructor. Thanks John for the knowledge and tips! I highly recommend to family and friends!!

DON'T LOOK ELSEWHERE! Phenomenal driving school and instructors! Extremely friendly staff. Brent's classes were very informative which prepared me well for in car lessons. 20 hours with John Odlum who's experience and expertise truly made me a better driver. John thoroughly explained my errors in a very calm nonthreatening manner and did a great job explaining how to correct them. I.e required to a second stop and checking rear mirror every seven seconds. My driving skills and reaction/anticipation skills are much sharper and more responsive to constantly changing driving conditions. Thank you so much John! I enrolled my 17 year old son into A Proactive Driving School this past December (2018). I cannot express my gratefulness of the driving instructor, (Drashko V) the administrative staff (Leuba) and the classroom educator who assisted my son in getting his driving license which was issued to him January 2nd, 2019 successfully with very close to a perfect score. You will not find another school that cares so much about putting safe, educated and capable drivers on Calgary roads. It is this school's mandate to ensure that all of their student drivers are fully aware of the responsibility the student is undertaking with driving and giving them the knowledge and excellent skills to handle driving in our climate and city. I passed on the first try!! I had really bad anxiety about driving, which is why at the age of 25 I still didn't have my full license. A lot of people recommended Drashko to me, saying all of his students always pass. He is a fantastic instructor who was very patient with me despite my anxiety on the road, he never made me feel rushed or inadequate. He is very deliberate and kind, and will prepare you for your test easily. I didn't expect to go into the driving test feeling this confident, and I passed on the first try. No matter what your style or personality is, he will work with you to make sure you are comfortable on the road. All of the staff were amazing from the first moment I contacted them; answering questions, providing a number of options for lessons. I had John for my brush-up lessons and he was absolutely wonderful. He was always calm, kept things relaxed, and explained things clearly and concisely. The lessons I’ve taken in preparation for my road test have been nothing short of incredible. Driving used to make me so nervous and I feared I would never warm up to it enough to get enough practice to ever warrant becoming a good driver. I took 2 brush-up courses with Grant, and it was just awesome. Grant gave me a lot of confidence for the first brush up, I went to take the road test the next day failed cuz I made some crucial mistakes. And I went to Grant for the second time, he stressed all the weak points I had during the road test, and I felt much more clear than before after that brush up. And I just finished my road test today and I passed! I haven’t been driving for almost a year after I got my class 7 and I just passed after 2 brush up courses. Brent, my in class teacher did an amazing job keeping the class interesting and informative. For the 10 hours I spent behind the wheel, I had John Odlum as my instructor. This is a great driving school where both theory and practice instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. Grant Wilson was my driving instructor and he was always on time for the lessons. He helped me build up my confidence when driving and always gave me very helpful advice. Admin staff were also very helpful and friendly. I'd totally recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn or re-learn to drive.

During our theory classes, Brent made sure we don't just get a passing grade but that we understand the responsibility that the comfort of driving comes with. The long version: I moved to Calgary from another province and have never gotten any formal education in driving, only guided by my friends. I had failed the road test and I needed help. This school was recommended to me by a friend at work and instead I chose to do another test on my own and flunked... again. Meeting John was a game changer. He is so passionate about what he does and he stays calm while giving you tailored advice. He will show you tips and tricks, potential pitfalls, and proper driving etiquette. This place isn't here to swindle you and get all your money; it's here to help you. The best part is that you can get a coaching session right before the exam and rent the car you're going to do it in. Thanks to John, I got the skills and confidence to pass my test and move forward in the next chapter of my life. He said so himself: "This wasn't the real road test. I wanted to take my full licence and needed a brush up lesson to make sure I would pass. When i called to book the staff was very friendly on the phone. It was easy to book. I had my 2 hour brush up lesson with Romeo. He was respectful and knowledgeable about all the rules and gave quite a few pointers as to where I could improve. He made it a relaxing drive so that I wasn't nervous. The corrections he made were gentle and he was never disrespectful. Even told a few jokes. At the end I felt very confident! Thanks Romeo :)

Great school! My husband and I took the insurance reduction course not because our insurance needs to drop ( but it sure would be great if it did!!!!!) but because we both felt, at age 62, we could use a brush up on all driving knowledge and skills. The three days of classroom ( taught over the weekend and Monday) were awesome! I learned and relearned so much that immediately started making me a more competent driver. The same for hubby. Then driving with instructor John was perfect for both hubby and I. John was great! Calm and easy going, with corrections/ coaching given gently if or when needed and great general driving tips given too. Thanks again John. I did the novice course with the theory via the online route. Worked will for me. Before deciding on Proactive Driving School, I contacted seven other schools phoning the numbers provided on their websites, or completing their online forms. Six never even came back to me. Proactive Driving School on the other hand promptly returned my calls whenever I could not reach them, and their admin and feedback from start to finish were extremely efficient. In the time I had with this school, I learned many things. Because the instructors don't rely solely on the Alberta curriculum, I had valuable access to knowledge and experience that doesn't appear in the book. Brent, my in-class instructor, went above and beyond to give us an exceptional experience. He used videos, diagrams, and stats to emphasize the points. Not only that, but he also made class fun, with his entertaining deviations from what can be mind-numbingly dry subject matter. My on-road instructor was the ideal teacher. He was patient, kind, and wise. John Odlum would pick me up everyday with a smile, and then proceed to give me a run-down of the day's headlines. (He knew I enjoyed keeping up with the news.) When we were in motion, he would communicate clearly and effectively about what I needed to do next. Sharanjit was an awesome instructor. As someone who has taken driving lessons with a less-than-spectacular instructor in the past, I was apprehensive at the prospect of spending money to do it again, but I have nothing but good things to say. Sharanjit was infinitely patient and always worked to make sure I felt comfortable doing different driving operations. I loved her approach to driving, she always assured me that mistakes are a natural part of the driving process and that no matter what maneuver I was doing, she was at my side and we would go through it step-by-step together. That really helped me come out of my comfort zone and the effect could clearly be seen by the difference between our first lesson and our last. She made sure to cover all the important bases with me and I’m proud to say that I passed my driving test on the first try!

I have taken drivers education three times now, (2 previously with AMA) and I can honestly say this is the best place to take lessons from. John Odlum is the best instructor I have ever had. YAY!! I passed my road test!! It still felt so unreal. My in-class lesson instructor was Dragoslav and John was my driving instructor. Thank you very much for patiently and kindly teaching me and answering my questions. Special thanks to John because without you I wouldn't have passed it. The road test is probably is the most difficult test I will ever come across. At one point I wanted to give up, but you always encouraged me and supported me through your actions and words. It took me several months before I did the road test that's because I was working at the same time and I never done anything related to driving like riding a bike. I hardly write reviews but I see the need to write this. 1, to give a review of a good and excellent service and 2, to help anyone who is undecided of using A Proactive make an informed decision. I booked an advance driving test for last Saturday which I booked a day before the test as I needed to take a test as soon as possible. After failing my first test, I saw the need to employ the service of an instructor, especially the one that knows the route usually taken by the examiners in the registry I am having the test. After arriving at the registry that morning around 9am for a test of 3:15pm, I contacted a number of driving instructors and none of them was available to take me. I lost hope and decided to drive around the registry to familiarize myself with the route, hopefully, I will be lucky. Around 10am, I saw an A Proactive driving school vehicle taking a student at the registry and decided to approach the instructor to explain my situation and hope he could help. This was my lucky moment, when I met Drashko, the driving instructor. He was calm and professional. He told me right there that he could accommodate me for about two hours. I can tell you that these two hours was mind blowing and value for money. As a matter of fact, I would have failed the test once again if not because of his coaching. He took me through the possible routes the examiner might take me through and showed me all uncontrolled intersections and hidden school zones that can easily be missed. It is interesting to know that the examiner took me through all the routes Drashko took me through and I could observe the uncontrolled intersections and the school zones. I eventually passed my test and the examiner kept commending my driving skills. This was possible because of the 2 hours coaching I had with Drashko. He truly knows his onions and knows how to communicate in details and simple manner that is easily understandable. I gained a lot within these two hours and I have been applying the knowledge gained from this in my day to day driving as well. Trust me on this, A Proactive Driving School will give you value for money. I hope you give them a try.

I started my experience with A Proactive with the classroom lessons. There was a lot to cover, but Brent made it engaging and interesting. I was very happy with my understanding of both the rules of the road and the attitude necessary for proactive driving by the final test! After the course, I had 20 hours of driving lessons with John. I had never driven on the road when we started, and I’m surprised by how much progress we made and how much more comfortable I feel driving! I liked the pace John went at - he was aware of what I could do and could not, and while I got nervous doing new things I never felt like I wasn’t ready or wasn’t safe. Now that the lessons are over, I feel aware of my strengths and weaknesses and what I need to practice before my test in a few months. John really helped me feel less anxious about driving and more comfortable in the driver’s seat! The only thing I might have changed about my experience is that since I did both the classroom and road lessons, I would have liked if the driving instructor was a little more aware of the classroom course to connect the ideas/material in the classroom to their application on the road. All in all, I recommend both of these programs and am very satisfied with my driving education!

From what I've heard, this is by far the best driving school. I had John as my in car instructor, he was friendly and informative. Overall, the in car experience was defiantly 5 stars. I learnt a lot about driving safely and how to pass the class 5 driving test. However, the in class could have been better. My in class instructor was new so I'm still giving the overall experience 5 stars as I'm sure it was challenging for them as it was their first time. Although, my instructor lacked public speaking skills, I still learnt somethings from the in class experience. The in class experience could have been better but the in car was excellent!

I have recommended A Proactive to friends and would recommend to anyone. My oldest took driving lessons here two years ago, and I was determined to get as good an experience for my twins this year. In the classroom Brent's wild stories keep the students engaged in what is otherwise dry material. In the car, John treats the kids with respect, with a calm demeanour, clean car and uncanny timeliness. John really prepares the students for the driving exam and has some secret formula for teaching parallel parking.

I first chose this school when my email inquiry was met with a patient, explanatory email from Boris. He gave detailed information about the school and about the process of driver training in 2017, plus he was incredibly helpful in assisting me in purchasing class and driving time in order to surprise my son for his birthday. The class time and the driving instruction were top-notch. The class instructor was funny and helped the students to learn the facts with humour. Darcy was my son's driving instructor and to say he was excellent would be an understatement. Darcy's calm demeanour helped my son learn in a stress-free and supportive environment, and his encyclopedic knowledge of all things driving-related was incredible. Boris' continued assistance through the time of my son's driving lessons, whether it be booking or re-booking or extra time, or advice or ANYTHING, was always incredibly calm and helpful. George is fantastic!!! Both of my kids took lessons with George and they passed their road tests on the first try. They did such a great job that even the examiner was impressed. I had a great experience with the Proactive Driving School from the interaction with the employees to the actual driving classes. The in class sessions were easy but not as much as the driving sessions that have made by Drashko. I was worried that the 10 hours spent in the car wouldn't be enough for me to pass the road test but with the help of Drashko I passed on my first road test. He is a great driving instructor and he teaches you exactly what you need to know to drive safely on the roads, be comfortable driving and those little details that will guarantee you passing on the first road test. Mr. John Odlum is my in car instructor and he is by far the most effective teacher I have. At the end of my first 2 hour session, he already shared and imparted so many valuable tips, such as; when crossing a railroad, check on/look at both sides even if the light is green to ensure that it is indeed safe to cross; how to parallel park involving 4 simple steps; important traffic circle tips, and to name a few. As a relatively new and anxious driver, it is important to build up that confidence which John had really helped me acquire even at the end of the first session. My greatest fear is driving in Deerfoot at 100 km/hr. which I had done confidently to my surprise. Having a very competent instructor is instrumental to my success and I cannot thank John enough for being one.

I couldn't overcome my fear of driving, and after failing the exam after my first and second attempt, my confidence was at an all-time low. Then I saw Drashko! He built back my confidence. It's my first driving lessons and I'm 53 years old, the youngest in Brent's class "LOL". So I'm somewhat worried, However having a knowledgeable instructor and his explanations in class lessons is clear and concise, giving a significant amount of examples and the Q&A in our class discussions is really helpful and fun. I didn't only passed I got a perfect score. Keep it up! I completed my driving lessons with Romeo and I never realised learning to drive can be fun. The teachers at the school are real professionals !!! : The theory teacher Brent, a master of his craft, explained to us all the possible situations that may arise while driving a car, theoretical questions were held every day, analyzed errors and situations. I learned driving from Dragoslav Vujanovic, an experienced instructor. He explains everything intelligibly and clearly. Each situation on the road was examined and explained many times. Many thanks to him for his patience, endurance (repeated and repeated until automatic), help in the practice of driving a car. With him I felt confident on the road. It helped me to believe in myself, to overcome fear, especially fear when turning left and performing merge. Special thanks to the second teacher, John. He is patient, tactful, punctual, explains everything clearly, calmly, with an analysis of traffic situations. The main thing is that he gives the student the right to perform the maneuver and understand his mistake himself and next time, do it perfectly. For what is done correctly, he always praises !! in the last lesson before the test instilled confidence in victory! By the way, the cars in the driving school are all in good condition. Well-coordinated, precise work and control over the entire training process of the manager of the Luba school helped a lot. I advise everyone to study at the best driving school!

The 2 days (15 hours total) of in class time at Brentwood seemed pretty long, probably because at the time I already had my learners. But what really made it a journey was how far i've come from when I first started my driving lessons with my instructor George. From taking Stoney Trail for the first time, to learning how to use Cruise Control. George really pushed in the right direction to getting my license. As a matter of fact, I just got my license yesterday! If you so happen to get George as your instructor, you will not be disappointed. Here's the thing about driving instructors,and it pretty much goes for any kind of instructor. Not all of them are a good fit. You want someone tailor-made for you. I know, its a tall order. It doesnt have to be. John is calm, composed and very encouraging. Im a little panicky, always second guessing myself, on the road. So John was the perfect fit for me. If thats what you need, stop looking. I highly recommend him!! Also, I passed my test today! Guess who Im gonna call, for a brush up lesson, just before I take my Advanced test?? Yup, John Odlum!!

I would like to thank A Proactive Driving School and personally to the founder of this school, Drashko. Four month ago I passed the rood test the first time with a good score. For me this is a great achievement since I could not do it for many years. And all this thanks to Drashko. He is the best driving instructor ever. Their Administrator Valida is very helpful and prompt even if their office before was flooded due to heavy rain and hail. And their awesome Instructor John Odlum is the best.
