Hi, Every thing is good but today it was hard for me to believe that my test was terminated just because my body was moving with my head when i was looking for the blind spot, seriously only for this reason and i do not understand if i am going to see the blind spot at my back then my left shoulder/body will tilt little bit as a reflex. Plus it was not only me my friend was also disqualified because of this same reason, who also went today with me to give G test. This was my second attempt at this centre and last time the examiner was like you are also in moving your head, are you serious!! I never ran the red light, stop sign, over speed, neglected the pedestrians, exceeded the speed limit and what not !! Totally disappointed and exhausted.

I had my wonderful experience here for my G test today. My lady examiner was super cool and she had instructed me very clearly ahead of time. I read all the negative comments about racism here but in my experience there is no such. If you do your job better You don't need to worry for anything. Overall nice experience and it's highly recommend to do your G test as the highway and local roads were not that busy. My advice is better You practice the drive test route ahead of time which will give you lot of confidence in test day. I did practice my drive test route previous day of my exam so I familiar with the routes ,speed limit, turns which ease my tension on test day

The person who took the test for me was an elderly person. He took the test everything is fine but when I finished he told me that I was not successful and said you can look at the error sheet. After I checked the paper I found that the errors he had made for me were not correct. I am sure that my lack of success was on purpose

They're not friendly at all. When checked in, were not told that should park at the back. When finally realized it's 3 minutes passed. Then the examiner refused to take the test and went to the next. Then was put on stand by. Even though the examiner is far ahead of her schedule, (because one less were tested!) Wait there all day and finally still didn't get a chance! Never go to there! A bunch of mean guys! Why give businesses to those rude guys?!

Worst place you could possibly go. Long lines rude employees. The lady who did my test was super rude. Yelling at me telling me to drive weird on the highway that was unsafe and then failed me when i didn't cut off a semi going 160 on the off ramp. They also did not do all of the test just make you drive. No parking no 3 point turns nothing. I had to do my test again and went to Brampton drive center instead where they tested me on everything didn't make me do anything unsafe and i passed and got my G. Brampton also had no lines. AVOID OSHAWA DRIVE TEST CENTER.

Arrived there at 3:40， and they don't serve new customers anymore. Next time they should say they will close at 4 but not 5 . There were only around 10 people inside. The slowest and worst service center I've never seen in my life.

I went to do my G2 road test and did perfect on everything but they automatically failed me because THEY ASKED ME to do an illegal manoeuvre (block and parallel park horizontally in front of someone's driveway. Plus I had to park behind the car in front of me but then horizontal with the car that was parked horizontally in the driveway) and when I did it I got failed for it. Then when I was done I took pictures of where they asked me to park and my dad when in to talk to the manager and he flat out called me and my dad a liar. Like what did we do stage the whole thing? P.s I wouldn't be upset if I fail just because I wasn't good enough but they failed me because I did something they asked me to do. My driving school instructor even said that what they asked me to do was illegal

A friend of mine went there and it was good, she however had to wait for 1 hour due to her mask not covering her nose. The same person came back the second time and was rude and hostile. The test went well, she did everything accordingly but was failed due to apparently not using her mirrors enough. The woman then proceeded to slam the door as she was leaving. I hope this test instructor had a better day after that ????

The driving instructor failed me because when I was getting out of a spot on the side of the road she thought that I wouldn't have room to turn back out withouth hitting the car infront of me. (Assumption) I understand that the instructor is trained in the rules of the road, but what she avoided to notice was the small hood on my Honda element. The car has sharp steering and the hood in front isn't big at all. So I knew I could make it based on experience with that car (not every car could pull it off as easy). Then we did nothing but stop signs afterwards then came back and failed me without explaining beyond that I rolled a bit on one stop sign, and that she "thought" I was going to hit the car infront of me even though I knew exactly what I was doing. She was clearly in a bad mood that day and that cost me something I was well prepared for over the last two years of driving. Just avoid this specific centre as my instructor failed 3 people in a row before doing the same to me. I admit I made one minor mistakes on the road, but none worthy of losing the chance to get my g2. Avoid Pembroke. Don't risk it, go somewhere else with reasonable instructors. Im only saying this as a warning. As my opportunity has already been taken away. There are many drive test locations around, and its worth going somewhere else to pass.

She’s amazing, I made mistakes and she corrected me. You need to be energetic, reasonable, COMMUNICATE especially on the road. Just passed my G road test at this location. Service was quick, the examiner gave directions well ahead of time. Get on hwy at Sydenham, off at Gardiners and back the same route. 3-point turn, no parallel parking, stall parking and just basic maneuvers. I did my test just after 3pm and had no issues.

Today i have G test here there is laday taking my test she said there is speed limit 70km pr h and i am driving on 69 70 and she said you are over the speed in the 70 speed zone she fail me i'm doing speeding if in 70 zone 69 or 70 is speeding then she have to quit her job and even she didn't take me on highway

I went for my G2 driving test and it went very well. No crowds or long lines, just had to wait behind 1 person. The lady who works at the front even showed me how to use the kiosk that you have to use to give your information for the test. I would usually go to the Kenora driving centre but I learned it would be over an hour wait but brantford happily surprised me with getting me in early and having super nice staff. Great experience, 5 stars!

"Ironically", my son failed his G test here today for almost the exact same reasons as this other person (see attached screenshot) - three-point turn off the highway, and "didn't come up to speed fast enough" - coincidence, or money grab for the MTO?

I had a great experience during my G exam. I never got the examiners name but he was polite and had a good sense of humour. During my exam the weather was -7 there was snow fall. My exam was approximately 22 minutes the examiner was very clear in directing me which lanes to change into, i was instructed to parallel park, 3 point turn and emergency stop park. After I pulled into the driving centre i was instructed to forward park in the public parking lot, when I parked the instructor said I did very well and passed me. Overall I had a good experience the route was simple and I started my exam at 9:46 AM, I advise you guys to book a test between 8-12 because very little traffic and arrive half an hour early. Also practice parallel parking and 3 point turn! To whoever reading this good luck and best wishes.

I travel from Ottawa to Pembroke for my G1 exam because some of my friends went for G1 exam In Ottawa drive centre and have to wait in line for 4-5 hours , One of my friend going for G2 drive test in Pembroke town and I decided to go with him for my G1 and I literally have to wait for 5 min and by the time my friends finishes the G2 test, I am done with mine as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. During the busy Covid situations, Pembroke drive centre is the best choice if you don’t want struggle in line for hours.

I highly recommend going to the Peterborough centre for all of your driving tests! I was lucky enough to have Andrea as my examiner and from the moment that she introduced herself I felt more at ease. Any of you who know me, know that I have severe anxiety and due to being in a car accident at a young age am extremely nervous about driving. Andrea took the time to remind me to breathe and to reassure me that everything was going to be ok as well as allowed me the time I needed and made sure that I didn't feel rushed. Furthermore; she was willing to give me advanced verbal warning along with visual hand signals to communicate what I needed to do giving me plenty of time to know what was to come! Thanks again Andrea!

no signage instructing you to check in for a road test. computer at the door doesnt have the option and the computer that does is hidden in the corner. i showed up early. they didnt care. no wonder they make you pay in advanced. the lady at the desk was rude and claimed that everyone should know the process, after all who doesnt do road tests all the time? the g2 is good for 5 years. 4 and half since i last did a road test. and i'm supposed to remember... great scam... big surprise, they arent taking complaints either..

WORST DRIVE TEST CENTER!! I did my G2 test here and was the worst experience I could imagine. I have never met someone who seemed to have HATED his job so much as the examiner, Gary, that he was so annoyed by me at 9:00am in the morning. As soon as he got into the car and introduced himself I knew I was going to fail because he was so rude and made the entire test about himself which made me even more nervous. I beg you to take your test in North Bay where I did it the second time and passed. The staff are MUCH better and made my experience so much better!!

I showed up 15 minutes early for my test but was refused the chance to even take it because I didn't show up a half hour early. They told me to wait around for a no show and take their place. After 2 hours I just gave up.

I came here for my G test and had a great experience, I was tested by examiner #395. I recommend arriving to line up an hour early. Even if you are asked to leave and return in30 mins it shows you tried. I had difficulty with the computer registers too upon returning and I believe it was less annoying for the workers because they had known I had been early. Things happen, being polite and thoughtful to the workers probably goes a long way, they’re way overworked. Nearby there’s a little corner park by a bridge. If you walk down the slope there’s a lovely stream that is calming for the nerves of you need a place to shake off some of the anxiety, just don’t be late returning!

ACTUALLY THEY HAVE NO SYSTEM AT ALL. POOR PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE IN THE SUN,RAIN OR SNOW. FEELING BETRAYED AS WE PAY TAXES SO THESE PEOPLE GET PAID AND THIS IS THE QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICE!!!!! EITHER THEY SHOULD OPEN UP MORE CENTRES OR THEY SHOULD OFFER APPOINTMENT BOOKING SYSTEM FOR G1 LICENSE ASPIRANTS. Both women working were extremely rude. I had booked my G road test and I couldn’t do it because the instructor messed up and concluded I didn’t have “enough highway experience” when I drive in an 80km zone on the highway every day. She said I had to have lot of experience in a “90 or over zone” or on the 400 to do the test. I called the head office of drive test and told me that it was in any zone 80 or over. When I asked for my money back they refused to give it to me and I have to pay AGAIN to rebook my road test.

I just went here today to get my G2 (07/07/2021). I had an amazing experience, Brittany was my instructor and she was extremely professional and friendly. I felt comfortable during my test and would definitely recommend this center for people looking to do their tests. The lady who was checking people in also provided superb service alongside the lady behind the counter who handed me my license. I even managed to get my test done 30 minutes prior to the time I had scheduled since I arrived early. I don't usually write reviews but I think its deserving in this scenario, as I was also apprehensive while reading the previous reviews about attempting a test at this location. From what I can see, it seems that the center has significantly improved its services and I urge you to give them a try. Thank you for the amazing service!

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. The staff (specifically the man who evaluated my test) was very rude and short with me. I said hello when he approached my car and he said “turn your front light on”. He made me a do a parallel park in someone’s drive way and not by a curb then told me I didn’t do it right. At the end of my test he didn’t not give me my paper with my evaluation on it. He told me I just didn’t pass. I later then had a great experience at the Espanola Drive test centre, wonderful staff.

Racist and very harsh. Yesterday I drove from Hamilton to do my G road test here bcos everywhere was full. I was an hour early but when the instructor came my one of my break light was gone, I don’t know how but before I checked everything was fine. I got it fixed in less than 2 mins from a mechanic shop beside the centre and they still refused to let me take my test and didn’t wanna hear me out. The attendant told me she didn’t care! No respect at all! And talking on top of her voice!! Very mean. The treatment is not the same! Sorry!!!

Service isn't satisfying at all. Inside services can't be scheduled and Walk in for those services is a nightmare for most of the time. One person in one hour for an inside service, even though that person was done within 25 minutes after her entrance. They might not gonna make any changes after these reviews but I am just giving the info to general public to come as early as possible in the morning for walkin services.

I passed my G driving test at this location. The front desk lady was nice and there was not a long waiting time. The automatic check in was fast and easy as well. Right at the beginning, I had a problem with my car, but my lady examiner was very patient, and she gave me some time to see what was wrong. Luckily, nothing serious was wrong with the car, and we proceeded as planed. She was very respectful and courteous, from the beginning to the end of the examination. Her instructions were very clear, and overall, she was a professional. The most important thing is (I am not trying to be smart) to really practice your driving. I had some smaller mistakes, sure, but that is ok. Do not rush into the driving test. You can learn the rules and signs in a few days, but you need the time to practice and build your confidence and driving experience. Once you have all that, the examiner you get, and the route he/she takes you to is not important. Good luck with your test!

The drive test lady was horrible. She turned my wheel in the middle of the test and said "dangerous driving". She also said to hurry up on the stop signs even though you wait for around 2-3 seconds. Now I have to book another test and who knows when I will get another chance.

I had my G1 Exit Road Test (G2) today in the afternoon and passed. My examiner, Matthew, was absolutely amazing. He gave clear instructions throughout the examination and made me feel calm before and during my test. After, I lined back up for about 4 minutes and received my temporary license. Talking to a Robot is a pretty lazy way to run your phone system. I’m having troubles finding my answers online, have a toddler at home to tend to and simply want a answer to my questions: your ROBOTS have yet to do so. What kind of solution are you going to find for this? Because it’s ridiculous, not to mention how many jobs you could give instead of using a machine.

Warning! If you are brown/asian and a guy, forget getting a license here! Guys, the poor ratings for the drive test center is indeed right! Please don't get misguided by the few positive comments. In fact the overall ratings are by taking the average. Any business will shut down completely if they do not pass even a single person. Some people may pass that's true, but that's depending on the staff's mood! Lack of professionalism, behaviour, racism, unfair and untrained staff! Exactly one month back on Aug 24,2021 I took a G test here and the so called polite lady (Amber) was extremely rude from the start itself. After the test when I ask her what went wrong, she blatantly walked out! Once again upon checking the availability at drivetest website I got a slot again at the same Brantford drive test center a month from then, i.e- Sep 22,2021. I neglected all the negativity that I had gone thro and gave myself a another shot, but unfortunately the same result! Fail! This time the instructor was a different lady (I din't catch her name) and although I did all the things right, she said my blind spot check wasn't sufficient and that's the reason for the failure. I asked could you elaborate please, she wasn't willing to and replied that I can get a print out from the inside. Snarky as a pig! The most pathetic drive test center one can come across in the whole of Ontario without a doubt! People are going through tremendous turmoil during this Pandemic and small things like these can make someone's life and give them hope! Understand one thing, no one in this world will live a peaceful life by unnecessarily harrasaing people and this center is a prime example of such! Please don't waste your time and money here! I am a huge believer of God and have nothing to say otherwise. God's watching and people will get their payback one or the other way one day! This place is a complete joke and the driving instructors lash out on students because of their own personal issues. Driving instructor was obviously having a bad day and clearly used that as an excuse to fail young drivers trying to better their life and drive. Just so everyone knows, you can be near perfect on your drive test, but if you mess up your parallel parking, you automatically fail. When I argued with the woman at the desk she said parallel parking is an important role in driving. I guess that means they should remove everyones license who isn't parked properly at the New Sudbury Centre, any grocery store or even downtown because it's a reason to fail. Book elsewhere.

Worst experience!! The receptionist lady was very impolite. My examiner was 20 minutes late and soon after she reached, she started behaving in a very rude way. She had no respect for me and my driving instructor. Even before beginning the test and starting the car on, she talks as if I'm not a good fit for G. She's literally discouraging a candidate. Even during the test, she puts you under great pressure by making negative comments all the time! No matter how well you do. I was quiet shocked to see a driver examiner behaving in such a manner. Great people. Went for my G2 and had to register on the computer for it. Then waited in my car and my examiner Craig came a minute after. Did my test in 10 short minutes and he gave me very minor feedback. He was calm and collected the entire test. I passed and I got my G2 license! Just stay calm! It’ll be done in no time. Fairly simple route. I would suggest listening to what they asked and for sure arrive 30 minutes before your test.

Ultimate incompetent staff running the show here. Even after reaching at 7.00, i couldn't get inside. I didn't had to do written test, i just had to add my foreign exp to my license. There is just 2 lines, one for road test and one for others. They should have a 3rd line for miscellaneous. Staff (LISA) doesn't even want to listen. I overheard her telling to another staff that she will clear the ppl at 4.15 pm She rudely said that she is the authority here. Then went out to say that I am not following covid and is unsafe for her. However i had my mask and was atleast 6 ft away from her. She refused to listen to anyone. Update: I filed a complaint with the ministry. They were very helpful and added my wife's driving exp. to her file. They confirmed that LISA's action to deny adding exp. was wrong and they would notify their staff. I am not sure if any action would be taken but atleast staff like LISA would know that ppl will complain about their bad behaviour.

if i could give it 0 stars, i would. i took my g2 road test and followed everything my instructor said, and at the end of the test she failed me because of it. i “took too long” to turn my wipers on when there was 2 drops of rain on my windshield. i “turned into the wrong lane” while turning after she told me to turn into that lane. i was going too slow driving IN THE RAIN, and i took to long to turn because there was cars coming my way. and then she belittled me afterwards and talked to me like i was a mentally challenged 7 year old. would not recommend, i’d rather spend the extra gas going to simcoe.

Brenda was my driving instructor for my G. She was extremely rude and incompetent. I misunderstood her direction and she responded by trying to grab MY steering wheel and then yelled at me that I went the wrong way in a neighbourhood (if you go the wrong way that’s because you misunderstood and is no reason to fail as long as you perform the turn safely and properly). I find this place to be very fast and the examiners and staff inside are much more friendlier. I been to a total of three driving test centres: Brampton, Orangeville and Peterborough and this one is less stressful. Even with all the people they get from the GTA they’re very fast and don’t waste any time chit chatting like in Brampton. Brampton has a reputation with their driving centres taking bribes.

Today my wife had G2 test here, after 2 hours waiting in a long line in a cold weather, when instructor has came to our car, meanwhile I just took my mask down to drunk water, he told to my wife: "guess what? I am gonna cancel your test cause your husband didn't wear his mask, you should book another test and pay half price. Good luck." I tried to talk with him but didnt listen to me and just walk away. She told me I was not allowed to stand outside the door and text people. She came out and yelled at me to: Move along! This person needs to have some people skills training. She does not have the right to yell at people and tell them where they can or cannot stand.

Driving instructor # 395 dont know her name becuase she never introduced herself is a horrible instructor. When checking my lights told me my head lights werent bright enough while I was doing a test at 1300. Then when she failed me and told me I failed becuase I made a right turn on red and she said read chapter 6 it's there. Yes chapter 6 says I'm allowed to make a right on red as long as I come to a complete stop and signal and it doesnt say I can't. Neither of the intersections I turned at had signs posted saying I couldnt turn. So I went in to contest it where they told me that's not why I failed i must of understood. I actually failed for going to slow on the highway. Umm how did I miss understand if it's a totally different reason. I'm from the Toronto area and drive the 400 daily which is 100km even though everyone drives 110-120km. The test I did was on a 90km highway. I was also staying with traffic not like I can pass on a single lane highway on a test. If only she didnt make me unplug my dash cam before the test.

Bill made my G test experience very pleasant and he was by far the best examiner I've ever interacted with. He was very warm and friendly when I first met him and he also helped me to remain calm throughout the test and even gave me some useful tips such as the highway ramp being extremely short on the way back. If you get lucky enough to land Bill for your test, don't worry you'll probably do great. Thanks Bill!

The absolute worst driving test center. My boyfriend and I took the time and effort to drive up here but Gary the examiner was very unfriendly from the beginning and failed my bf for no logical reason. He stopped the test less than halfway through and didn’t even bother to tell him why he failed (said he was going “too slow” after we asked). He also didnt give any paper evaluation and just said he failed. He was clearly not having it and wanted to stop the test. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Please don’t bother to take it here and if yo have to, just make sure its not Gary!!!

They are doing their best to manage the social distancing protocols and definitely are nice but god forbid you’re in on a day when they have one teller. I’ve waited 2 hours, one in the cold and one in line. To make matters worse, I was denied service when it was FINALLY my turn as the teller left for break with 5 of us in line. Nothing against taking your lunch break as it’s probably warranted, but maybe navigate your needs with your team, read the room, and communicate that with the patrons patiently waiting? When I eventually had someone take me on, my paper work took less than 2 minutes. 2 hours for 2 minutes of work. Don’t get me wrong, they were very kind but the current system needs reconsidering. Till then, bring a charger for your phone and a winter coat.

Waited nearly 2 hours outside in the rain today to get my written test done to be a school bus driver. When i finally got to the counter I handed over all the information needed. My medical had all my information expect my name. She refused to let me fill in my name saying that how was she to know i did not steal or fake this medical fourm. It had my signature which could have been verified with my licence as well as my picture. She said it did not matter I had to come back wth the fourm re-written from a doctor. Not only this; I also witnessed a person infront of me also going for a commercial licence clearly not passing their visual test and she allowed him to preform his written tests. The lack of customer service at this location is something else.

Spectacular experience here. I got my G2 here. The process was very smooth and swift. The examiner I had (Mandy) was extremely friendly and caring. She truly tried her best to make sure I was as comfortable as i could be during the exam with friendly chit chat. I also got my G1 here a year or two ago and even that time the staff were extremely helpful. To you who is reading this, if you cant decide where to go for a drivers exam, here is the place. Passed my G test today. I was nervous about coming to this place after seeing all the negative reviews, but Im actually glad I did. This is a nice place for new drivers. Most of the driving for my G was done local. And my examiner was #012, very observing and not too judgmental. He told me before hand what to do and where to go, as well as the speed limits. Hence, this helped me calm down and made me feel comfortable. The drive was very short timing as well. In my opinion I dont see anyone being racist here, I wear a hijab and I didnt have any problems, everyone was so kind. The only disadvantage is the wait after the test. But trust me for all the time and patience. Its worth the wait!

If you would like to avoid being treated like trash I would highly reccomend steering clear of this place. The staff here used Covid-19 policies to treat my family members discourteously and refused us service. My cousin had clearly explained that she completed her 14 days quarantine, yet she was not allowed inside the establishment. They would not hear her out and would rudely cut her off when trying to explain her situation. When the staff consulted Christine the supervisor (who would not speak to us and would only speak through her staff) she said not to let my family inside and that they must quarantine for a month. Christine who likely has little to no training in public health went ahead and made her own regulations regarding Covid-19. Her behaviour shows that not only is she clearly incompetent in regards to public health Covid-19 regulations, but she contributes to the stigma of having contracted Covid. The cherry on top was the security guard who began yelling and screaming at us, despite us being respectful and not raising our voices during the whole ordeal. The staff here seems to be inept at running an establishment. The supervisor is quite incompetent when it comes to following Covid-19 regulations and treating patrons courteously. Moreover she seems to have some deficiency in understanding that she cannot create her own laws regarding Covid-19 and refuses service to those who are complying with all Covid-19 regulations. I hope that in the future Drivetest Brantford hires employees who are able to understand their roles, treats all individuals in a respectful manner, doesn't cower behind their employees, dosen't use their position to oppress others and are not obtuse enough to think they are beyond provincial government and create their own laws.

After reading all of the negative reviews for this location, I was a ball of nerves arriving to take my g2 road test. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment, signed in at the kiosk & followed the clear instructions to go wait in my car that I appropriately parked in the spaces reserved for road tests. I waited maybe 5 minutes before my drive test assessor greeted me. She was polite & clear with her instructions, patient & calm. The test lasted 10 minutes. When we arrived back at the test center, she congratulated me on passing my test & offered me incredibly helpful pointers to correct the few mistakes I made during the test. She took time to explain why what I thought I was doing right all along, although effective, wasn't quite the correct way. I could not have imagined a more pleasant experience. My appointment was originally for 11:45. I signed in at 11:15 (following clear instruction to sign in 30 minutes before test) & was walking out the door with my temp license in hand at 11:48. I wouldn't let the negative reviews impact your attitude about booking at this test center. It's clear that many of the drivers who failed to meet the requirements necessary to pass tend to place the blame on the assessor.

I am very disappointed. I got my Swiss drivers license transferred into an Ontario drivers license. I was told I would get back my Swiss license by mail. My drive test assessor was very kind, calm and helped ease the nerves. Went there last Thursday for my 2nd G test attempt after having failed the first time at Port Union. The people at the desk were friendly and so was my examiner. The examiner was actually like 15-30 mins early for my test and we ended up doing it earlier than the scheduled time. I really have nothing bad to say about Peterborough DriveTest, other than the fact that it's like an hour and a half drive from my place. But yeah, very friendly people, roads are not busy in the afternoon making it easier to do lane changes and merging on the highways, and the parking lot has decent space. Having said all that, I have to give it a 5 stars and definitely recommend new drivers to take their tests here whether it would be for G2 or G. It is worth the time and travel! If only I would've did my G road test here the first time. Oh well.

This is a great location to book your road test, and also one of the very few test centers in Ontario with a (well deserved) 3 star plus rating. The examiners are professional, fair and not intimidating in the least. Had my G test here and passed on the first attempt. The examiner arrived as soon as I completed checking in at the kiosk even though it was way before my exam time, answered all my questions at the beginning of the exam, was clear with instructions throughout the test and gave constructive feedback at the end of the exam which I found to be super helpful. The test center reception is organized and clean, albeit a bit small. The staff at the counter are friendly and approachable. Parking spaces are not numbered so make a note of the lane you parked in before checking in. Highly recommended!

I just took my full G road test yesterday and PASSED on the first go! First thing you need to do is arrive at least 20-30 minutes early, park in the numbered parking zone on the left side of the building, remember the spot number and bring your car info. If you’re there for the road test, line up on the left side (facing the building/or the shortest line), and let the key contact person know you’re there. You have to check in at the automated kiosk by entering your driver’s license, car info, and collect the ticket number for your appointment. Head back to your vehicle to meet your instructor at your vehicle to do the overall safety check. My instructor was very supportive and gave a sense of ease with every directive, and for that reason I have to give a shout out to Karl, thank you for sharing the test with me yesterday! On that note, remember, instructors are NOT out to get you or fail you, they’re simply there to observe how you drive and how well you respond to on/off road scenarios. It’s okay to say “Good morning/afternoon” and start a rapport before and during your exam, it’ll keep you calm and bring a nice temperature check. As long as you go by the books or the official driving site for rules and take on each instruction, you’re going to do great! Following online videos of what to expect is close to the route but there’s so many variations, trust your skills not what you’ve seen. You have time to correct yourself if needed, as long as you don’t drive off to the next demonstration, or that error WILL count. Good luck and I hope you get Karl!

There is one old lady examiner which is too rude ,mannerless, she has no etiquettes. One day, i parked car in parking area , there is no any sign of test area and she came to my side and start rudely talk to me. Even i am experienced truck driver but she teaches me g2 rules. Moreover, there is also one old man ( one of there staff) who has black pick up truck who was did misbehave me just like a gangster. I think they do discrimination-regarding nationality . Government should give attention to this driving test centre. There is problem of discrimination, rudeness and racism.

Went for my G road test. I walked up to the front desk and the employee work (with no one else in line) tells me to use the keiosk. After entering my information twice, after it deleted it the first time. I recieved my number and proceeded to wait. The instructer came in, rudly telling me I should be waiting in my car (maybe if I was able to talk to a real person that mistake would not have happened). As we got to the car, she told me to turn the "map" screen off (I had used navigation to get there and needed to cancel the route). She rudly snapped at me telling me once more to turn off the "map" screen. Overall the experience was very poor and I'm very dissatisfied with the lack of respect. Being in the service Industry, I would expect much more patients and manners. Clearly my instructor had something had something going on in their personal life. Being in the industry they should really know that they need to tune it out at work. I understand everyone has problems, but please do not take it out on your paying customers. I wil not be coming back to this location or recommending it in the future.

My experience with this location was amazing compared to Oshawa (I failed my test in Oshawa within reason but the evaluator was very disrespectful) my evaluator at the Peterborough location was very kind and so was the rest of the staff I talked to. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend taking your driving test at this location.

Examiner lady with short hair is very arrogant and disrespectful. Even she was laughing at me without any reason ! So do I understand it as "Bullying?" Or just make fun of "Immigrants"? Or any other sentimental factor... ? DriveTest.ca is this your way to hire such unprofessional people and earn more money from failing people with false instructions and results? I just passed my G test in this place, person at the door check temperature and ask questions about COVID-19, keep a good social distance once inside. There was almost no waiting time. My examiner, Bill, was very nice and gave clear instructions during the test. It is highly recommended to take the G and G2 exams here! I did my G1, G2 and G in here.

Awful service, rude staff. I took my daughter for her G1 test last Tuesday and the lady servicing her at the counter was awful. She was rude to her because the signature in her passport was not clear. How can a grown lady hold a 16 year old child responsible for an error that’s not her fault. While she was signing off she snatched the document in frustration and my child ended up signing out of the box and she grunted at her. I wish some action could be taken against such people who are there to service the public and still give them a hard time especially kids. My child was so troubled and shook up by the whole bit.. I am not going there again. Its sad that whitby does not have a Drive Test centre.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unbelievable. Their pace is incredibly SLOW, no personality, not a care in the world. No knowledge, a customer had his turn with a pretty basic question. (I've had a similar issue). She told him to sit down went to the back room, spent 15minutes in there. There are 2 ways of delivering instructions, being kind yet firm and just being utterly rude and arrogant. The lady who takes the G road test was the latter , rude… made me not want to take the test. I have been driving for more than 10 years, but her tone and attitude made me very nervous.

I had a very positive experience going for my G road test. Got there 30 mins before my appointment. The place was not busy and the lady at the counter called my number and saw me right away. My test started about 15 minutes before my scheduled time which was nice. Instructor was a middle-aged white gentleman. He was courteous, not overly friendly, but respectful and professional. We were out maybe 15-20 minutes and came back in. Passed and no problems. Would recommend over Windsor.

I thought my examiner at Peterborough (497) by the name of Gemma (or Gamma) was definitely rude to begin with. Despite failing and being very polite to her, I took my results to learn from my mistakes and things are chicken scratched and felt misevaluated. Be warned, watch out for her. The way she tried to give me instructions in an unsafe manner and the body language of intentionally trying to fail me and possibly other drivers, there’s no room for this kind of service.

My first day going for my test and the Lady asked me to wait outside for 15 minutes and than to come up and sign in the Computer screen where she told me to grab a paper and put my license info which I did and after I’m done she said go sit in your vehicle I want and sat in my vehicle for another 10 or 15 minutes lady comes and says we have an issue with your license you probably need to pay or something else so I want in and the lady tells me I been waiting for you I told her you asked me to go sit in my car what you talking about she said go talk to the other lady and I did she goes I can’t do your test no more it’s pass due and we have other people who are coming to do the test I told her what did I do wrong she said you didn’t come up to me and talked to me after you grabbed your ticket I told her the other lady told me to go sit in my car which I did and than she says we can’t do your test no more Good bye in a rude way I told her the next test won’t be till next year she’s said good luck

I had my G test two days back and the instructor I got was soo rude( a fat guy) . He was soo rude from the very beginning. Before even my test started he pushed the break soo hard in the parking lot saying I am blocking a guy from my left side who actually was waiting for me to go so that he can take my spot. And then he failed me saying I didn’t look behind while doing parallel parking. I had a very bad experience there.

From the ladies at the door and inside working the computers and counters, to the people doing the examinations, they all have absolutely flawless professionalism as well as politeness. The test is firm but fair, and the people on the inside are always willing to joke around and congratulate you on your test! Also their Covid 19 protocols and guidelines are great and made me feel very safe while I was there, from sanitizer at the door, to the instructors putting a bag over your passenger seat so they spread the minimum amount of germs in your car. I recommend this DriveTest Centre to anybody who is going to get their license, an wonderful experience.

I was told the Catham drivetest was a good place to take my g2 but after seeing these reviews and taking my test there first hand I can tell most people can't handle professionals who won't give them a license without sufficient skill. Everything was by the books: no attitude, equal respect given and understanding of nervous mistakes, I strongly recommend Chatham if you have enough practice

The entire experience was fine until the test started. The instructor raised their voice at me a few times during the test. Completely unprofessional. I was told I failed but was not given a slip with my grades or how many points were deducted and why. It was honestly a big cash grab. My tester, Mike was amazing. He let me feel at ease and gave clear instructions. After the test he gave me some good road advice. Took my 16 year old son to get his license, didn't have a passport so he needed a guarantor form. Took over a week to get it as he couldn't meet with his teacher to sign it bc of the cohort system they are doing in his school. Unfortunately I didn't look it over and he filled out his portion in pencil. Instead of letting him erase it fill it out in pen they put a red line through the whole form and told him to redo it. Took everything to not go in there and rip those lazy government f*cks a new one. Make sure you have everything exactly right or they will find any excuse to not work.

I had G test on October 26th. The beginning was sad due to the lack of a mask while waiting in the car. I already thought that the test would fail because the examiner was impolite and angry. But ,thank God ,an hour later I passed my G test with another examiner named Cody and he was amazing.

BEST STAFF - BROOK I had my G2 drive test on 15 Oct 2020. I had my driving lessons from TDOT driving school and I would recommend you all to give it a chance. Especially Manu Mam. The drive test staff was not co operative at all. First of all the parking lot was full and there was no space to park the car at the designated area they mentioned. The driver instructor came out dont know the name and saw the car and went in, instead of walking to the car and get on the road for the test, cause the lot was full and there was no space to park at the designated area and the instructor knew it too.Waited for an hour and half another instructor came out stating that you were not wearing the mask in car and she(amy driver instructor) had to delay the test the for another 20 minutes and went back laughing by humilating me in front of others knowing that she is being on her worst behavior. Just to clarify i removed the mask when i came out of the car for one minute and had it on all the time before talking to one of the instructors. Later one of the instructor named CHRIS came out to argue with me that you have to wear the mask all the time while he was not wearing the mask himself and was smoking cigarette with other people in the line who were wearing the mask and violating covid protocols himself that he was passing on to me. Maybe you can check cctv cameras to verify my statement if you have one installed. This behavior is completely ridiculous and if your staff is not willing to work and pay ever penny back by working hard and not following covid 19 protocols than maybe send them for vacation or ask them to leave. Even its not good at their part to instruct other regarding covid 19 protocols when they are the ones not following them. In whole i have to wait for 2 and half hour in total before i got on the road to give the test. Please book wisely and also the manager at the test center have your staff to be co operative and use common sense instead of arguing and making a scene

As I sit here I get to listen to the conversations the receptionests are having while ther is no one in line...just people sitting and waiting to be called...they aren't totally talking shop, it's everyday talk too...DO YOUR MOTHER LOVING JOBS PEOPLE...get us moving then chat it up with whatever conversation you feel necessary!!!! They need more staff and computers. Lined up at 6:35 am for G1 test for my child. They open at 7 am. Had come 3 days back at 3 pm to find 30 people ahead, so went home. Today 13 people ahead at 6:40 am. It took 7:45 to even enter. Freezing hands and toes. Parents not even allowed in. Then another 40 mins wait inside for my child. It is outrageous what Govt is doing with this. Opened back in June yet they cannot have a 3rd party DriveTest ramp up resources. No appointments given for G1. Not a very good intro to how govt services work, for youngsters. Very few locations, drove 30 mins to this location which was closest. Atleast the lady letting people in was polite and frequently came out to check and inform people in line outside what all is needed before u get it. God bless her. Bring a camping chair to save your legs while u wait and if coming in winter, dress appropriately as u will be outside for a long time.

Overall not as bad as some people made it to be. Although I passed my G test on the first try, the examiner was extremely rude and made the experience way worse than it should have been. His tone seemed like he was very anoyyed when I asked questions clarifying the speed limits of the area or certain parking spots. He would also rush me into intersections even though I wanted to double check for safety. There's one road where most examiners will ask for parallel parking, 3 point, pulling over and parking; I knew this was coming up and there was another student ahead trying to parallel so I slowed down. He then yelled at me to go the speed limit regardless. Why is this guy in such a hurry for? Not writing his names for his sake but be wary, this guy has places to be. ???? Other staff I met with were very kind and helpful though. The service was fast regardless of new covid protocols.

I agree with that rating somehow, with a backlog of 700000 people waiting for their road tests after covid, with poor online service and phone service, people can get annoyed...! There were too many people line up for register in the morning . The officer who tested me was very serious, before turned on the highway he opened the car window, I was very cold and nervous, cause I used to a quiet driving experience. All things considered (covid and restrictions) they are doing an amazing job. Yes, there are long line ups that are not fun in the cold, but everyone there was super friendly. To the dark haired woman with the bad attitude at the front desk, learn to do your job or consider finding a placement that doesn't deal with the public. I did my G1 written test on Friday, and after I'd finished, she blatantly ignored me, making me stand in line for hours. Thank goodness for Leslie, who helped me after I'd waited forever. Thanks Leslie, you were very kind, buf unfortunately the other, rude woman ruined my visit. Besides, I came right when they opened and didn't leave until almost 11... For a written test that only took me 10 minutes! Not to mention when she first called me up, she was horribly impersonal and snarky. And to everyone saying it's a race issue and that white people are treated better, you're a JOKE, I'm white as snow and was treated very poorly! This review isn't biased either, as I passed my test. This is purely a service issue.

Some expert advice for all those looking to take your G2-G test. DO NOT TAKE IT HERE! Go to Paris!! Simcoe!! Anywhere but Brantford!! I have been driving with a Liscence now for approximately 4 years with NO problems, NO tickets, NO accidents. A young fella of about the age of 16 came back and passed with flying colours. Yet an experienced driver with 4 gets failed!?! The standard time it takes for a G2-G test is 15-20minutes. I was not even given 10. I was failed automatically after 6 entire minutes. SIX. Why? Because according to my instructor, (Jennifer) I did not put my signal on when stopping at a stop sign. Which is B.S, secondly. I didn't complete the parallel park the first time; however with patience I completed it perfectly on the second try. According to her it took me 3 trys. It did not. However I didn't realize you could fail for passing a parallel park job after a second or third try? These instructors get PAID to FAIL you. If they don't like you upon first impression; or if you did not pay for your G/G2 test, guess what? It's an automatic fail. PLEASE do not come here!!! They are very rude, they do not care about you, and are just here to steal your money!! All the reviews said Jennifer was patient and kind, I had the exact opposite experience. RUDE!!

Today, the old lady instructor yelled me, she don't have manner to speak with people. She not supposed to be an instructor. When i reached for my g2 test at drive center, the security guard told me to wait inside with number receipt after waiting the lady came and yelled me that i am waiting outside. That was not my mistake. She is frustrating old lady and she failed me as revenge. She put some illogical reasons on score card. Even same lady yelled on other guy before me. This lady should not be an instructor.

Feeling low as I have failed my G Test at this center today. I made a big mistake while taking left turn on the street, i remember i checked both side on the road while merging from a T shape road and don't know from where a red van came from right side, there was no collision still some gap was there for me to take a left turn but examiner told on the same moment I should have not take the left turn and should yield to the oncoming traffic. I did all other things like merging on highway, driving highway, exiting, parallels parking, roadside parking, 3 point turn but failed because of the above mistake. I will give the test again. I drove previous week from Toronto to Peterborough through 401 highway and returned conformable, but because of the above mistake I failed. Now I feel like I need to do more practice in city, street while making left, right etc. instead of concentrating too much on highway practice.

He told him that he could not see his eyes and did not know if he was checking his mirrors or not so that was the reason he could not pass him. Any decent human would have said something before he started car and started driving that he needs to his eyes.

Friendly service, about 15 people in front of me and took 45 minutes to get inside. No protection from sun so bring hat or umbrella, water, some had lawn chairs to sit. Only 3 kiosks. Bring a couple pieces of photo id! I saw one turned away because they had none.

The lady at the front was nice, instructed me clearly on what to do, said good luck, and congratulated me when I passed. The examiner was a little impatient but otherwise very normal, professional, and efficient.

No instructions on what to do once you get there. I have never been to a drivetest before and the email sent was very vague on what information you need to have and what to do. It doesn't help staff was very rude and not helpful(talking about the plump lady outside the center with the tablet.) Avoid this center and book elsewhere.

Probably the best place to get the G Test. Lines can get pretty long for G1 but depends on the day and time. Examiner was Alexis or Alex, but she was very clear and nice. Treat the examiners nicely and they'll do you well, they're human too. Route isn't the same as what's on YouTube but practice your skills. -Do your blind checks -Use signals -Watch out for zombie pedestrians on phones -Ask about speed limits -Make a full stop at signs -Merge onto the Highway smooth without cutting anyone off -It's okay to say "No" if it isn't safe to do a lane change Good Luck!!!

He was great and very friendly didnt make me nervous. He tested my driving skills without showing any reactions or expressions. So It was easy for me to drive. His instructions was very clear and the route was very good though lot of constructions he didn't let me drive on those routes. HATS OFF to this test centre people they are really kind and friendly!! I did full G test today and I passed. My examiner is so nice, so kind, warm heart, so sweet, good person, just like an angel, a Saint. I don’t know his name, I just know he is Philipino, black hair. Before the test, I was so nervous, my hand was shaking a lot, I even couldn’t breath, I was so stressed, too scared, anxiety before the test, then he talked to me, be friendly to me, help me calm down, so I can finish good my test. you’re so lucky if you meet him in your test. Trust me. He is the best examiner in Canada. He was my examiner when I did G2 test in Chatham. My parents, my sister and me prayed a lot and a lot last night and today to have him as my examiner in G test. Thanks God received my prayers. I even want to cry cry when I see him came to my car. The other examiners are very rude, cool, aggressive, scream and yell, they only try to fail you, so you have to pay $100 for the test again. They are not honest in your test. Majority of them. We are lucky, among too many bad examiners, we still have him as a very good examiner. I want to say thanks 1000 times to him. I’m grateful him all the rest of my life. God bless him and his family. Took my G test here 2nd attempt and Passed!. My first attempt was in Hamilton highly advise to come to brantford such a better experience. I had bill as my examiner, extremely nice guy, clarified everything and didn't get upset when I asked questions during the exam. Everyone who works here is so much more courteous and nicer than the Hamilton location. It's not that this location is "easier" but the examiners are more fair and understand that you're nervous! As long as you know what you're doing you will pass! And make sure to merge at a 100 or over!

What ticks me off the most is there was no email regarding I have an upcoming road test as a reminder nor a phone call. I also called today and spoke to the rudest person over the telephone who stated I now have to repay for this test and have lost my money I paid for before hand. Completely brutal services. reading the reviews of this drivetest made me worried to take my g test and i was fully expecting to be assigned a grumpy examiner who'd yell at me and make me terrified to ever drive again (i'm not a fan of driving). the process was smooth and easy and i was able to sign in 30 min before my test, was given a ticket and then told to wait in my car for the examiner. the examiner was on time, professional and didn't talk at all besides directing me which was nervewracking but obviously they're not there to chat so all in all it was alright. test went well, passed on my first try during covid (two months after my G2 has expired) so i'm happy!!

Stood in their for about 20 to 30 minutes and ended up leaving because they took too long. Absolutelt useless, great wicket system in theory, total garbage in in practice. Idk what I expected tbh, all government services are slow due to the sheer amount of demand, however I've never experienced something this slow just to be told I don't have the correct amount and kind of ID. Just go to espanola, ik they have weird times is espo & if I didn't need to get my license for my trip I'd just be waiting to go there.

Waited for over 1.5 hours outside in -12⁰ weather. 2 staff on and a limit of 3 in the building is brutal, but I get it with Covid. Perhaps space heaters should be implemented during service hours. That or take a number and let us sit in our vehicles. This experience was completely unacceptable. Staff was great, as always. They get it, their hands are tied.

the problem is the some people who do the evaluation of your road test. they do not know the driving criteria. My evaluator put my roadmap very fast and very slow ????, then indicated that I did not stop at a red light, something totally false. days later (5 days) I took my road test at another driving center (with a stictict evaluator) and now I have my license. I do not recommend this test center write down on your tablet what they want. on the other hand, the person who attends the public at the entrance of the drive test was very kind. tip: buy a front and rear dash cam, so you can prove your word against theirs.

Provided directions with the ticketing system etc. Examiner- Super professional. Explained everything before the test. Made me feel very comfortable during the test. Told me speed limits in some places where there were no signs and I was doing 40kmph. Overall, I'd say other drive test center staff should take note from this. DriveTest overall is a scary experience for many, but this place is a welcoming change. Thank you!

Opens at 830. I was there at 745 to do the knowledge test for AZ license. There are 2 line ups. 1 for road tests. 1 for knowledge tests. I was the only person in line for knowledge testing. The employees are fantastic. Here's what I hate.. The GTA is on lockdown because of covid.Why are people from the GTA allowed to come to Lindsay to use our services? I am sure i was the only local person there. Otherwise , a great experience. 5 stars except for the GTA people being there.

I'm from Sarnia, I gave my first G2 Test at Sarnia which unfortunately did not go well. However, I have to say I felt such a huge difference with the service received at Chatham. The staff at Chatham were not just polite but friendly and motivated anyone that was doing their test. They made me feel so comfortable which helped me to do well in my test. I would definitely recommend this place any day over Sarnia Drive Test, the staff there are awfully rude and definitely need to learn something from Chatham.

My daughter did her drive test yesterday at 4:30. Everyone she dealt with were professional and polite until she met her examiner. Her examiner was Craig and he had her in tears before the test even started. He was incredibly rude and condescending. When he arrived at her car he berated her for her mask which was down around her chin as she drank from her water bottle. She raised it up the moment she saw him. She tried to explain she was drinking from her water bottle but he raised his voice and spoke over her and down to her in a mocking tone. He then insisted that she roll all four windows down during her test or she could reschedule. The next available appointments are in 2023. My daughter has very long hair which kept blowing in her face and eyes due to windows down and no hair tie. After completing the exam Craig told her any issues were minor and he could pass her but won't. My daughter is a tough cookie and not prone to dramatics at all but after dealing with this man she cried all the way home. I see here that he has some good reviews so perhaps he was having a bad day but still inexcusable behaviour. He turned something she tirelessly practiced for, was excited about and looking forward to for many months into a horrible experience. Shame on you Craig!

Only ID I had was my Restricted Firearms permit which is federally issued by the RCMP... Lol these monkeys refused to accept it as Identification. I am extremely disappointed with this Drivetest location! I went for my G test today, and my examiner was named Bill. He deducted marks for mistakes that I didn't even make! He claimed that I did not check my mirrors or bind spots (In reality, I did), and he claimed that I did not signal when entering the 403 (I did). He also deducted marks because I was traveling under the posted speed limit (I was going 95 in a 100 zone), even though there was heavy traffic, and everyone was going a little slow. If I would have gone 100, I would have rear-ended the car in front of me. The biggest giveaway that he was being unfair was when he would wait until the last minute to tell me when to turn, and then deduct marks because I apparently signaled too late (I wonder why). In case you are wondering, I was not successful. I am now out $90 and have wasted a ton of gas. The staff inside were also slow, unhelpful, and unpleasant. I waited an hour to receive my test results, only to find out that they were nowhere to be found. I then had to wait again for them to print them out. It is very disappointing that so many incompetent and dishonest people are responsible for providing such an important service. I would give -5 stars if possible! Avoid this location! UPDATE: I booked another G road test at the Hamilton location, did not change my driving habits, and passed with a high score. This really demonstrates how dishonest Bill was!

Incredibly rude, unhelpful, and and clearly do not have any sort of compassion or care for their position. Very obvious that the employees let their personal feelings impact their interactions at work which is extremely unfortunate and unprofessional. Privatizing the graduating licensing process and converting to the "Drive Test Centre" was one of the worst decisions on the governments part, and this centre exemplifies that in full. If there were any other option, NO ONE would choose to do their license here or at any Drive Test Centre. Awful. 0/5. If there was a negative 5 button it would be pressed SO HARD.

In case you're wondering, if you are going in to take your G road test, don't do what their signs tell you to do! I waited an hour after taking a number at the kiosk. Number was not called, and when I finally went up to he desk to ask what the heck the hold up was, I was treated very poorly by an unprofessional looking man. He told me I had missed my appointment and won't be going out today. I said, um I did was the sign told me to do, why wasn't my number or even my name called at the time of my appointment? I have been sitting here for an extra 3 hours simply because this is the LAST day I can do this test before I have to start all over again. Ridiculous situation where the institution screwed up with communicating to their customers.

My wife had a Full G test and failed because of slowing down behind a car which was seemed to head left into the Tim Horton (at the beginning of Sydenham road). This car was the second one of two cars but it WAS'NT completely in the ramp (half in the main traffic) with NO left signal. My wife thought it may want to go straight and they may hit each other if she proceeds. She proceeded after the examiner prompted her to do so, but by crossing the right lanes and merging to the right ramp. Everything else was fine and perfect (exact quote from the female examiner) but failed. It was a very unexpected situation and result. We got the test printed result. The report says: failed because of a dangerous stop (although it was not a full stop). Our complaint did not work with the manager afterward although he had a good ear and mentioned if he had been there, he would probably have ignored this issue. The decision had been made by Sarah, although not fair. The manager was even surprised since everything else was perfect. This one star is only for him. Not bad to mention, my wife skipped the G2 and legally was eligible to do a Full G test because of having 10 years of good driving record in our country. With the tight schedule during this pandemic, we feel it was not fair after 8 months of waiting. We wish she had a few mistakes; at least we would be more satisfied with this unfair decision which we highly believe arises from a personal judgement. She needs to wait a few other months to do the G2 test. And from the Drivetest perspective, why not to get 150$ (G2+Full G test fees ) because of personal judgement?!! and we are a student, not a small fee. Be perfect; don't expect to pass for having one mistake or being below a certain point limit. Explain if any controversial circumstances happen since she fails you very easily.

I've tested here twice, both during Covid. First time the people inside were pleasant and the drive straight forward. I didn't pass, I don't agree fully with what was said, but I made sure to keep the issues in mind when I went back. The second time was today. (Jan 5th) everyone inside was just as pleasant. Unfortunately the systems were down so they were back to paper testing but you could tell everyone was doing their best to make it as smooth as possible. My drive test was with Britney (I believe). She was an absolute pleasure!!! She made me feel very comfortable and her instructions were on point. She was bright and chipper which put me at ease. That makes testing so much easier!!! Thank you Britney for being an awesome tester. You made this stressed out momma take a breath and get through it. I passed, and I really think you contributed to it. Thank you.

Take this as a no star and I was treated very bad by the examiner I was there for my g2 test I don't know how and why but my right side break light stop working there and that rude guy just took sign on his pad first without telling anything and after that he told me that he can't conduct my test today due to break light I requested for any other slot as I was able to bring another car in 30 min but they didn't allow me to do that now i have to pay again for any other drive test center and they didn't even start my test and took my 50 dollars i wasted my time and money both. Truly the impediment of government employees. Say they are 70 000 drive test behind but don't seem to hire more employees and are closed on Fridays. Won't have drop out test test to fill the gap. Give you a hard time for asking questions. Thanks alot Doug Ford.

Went here for my G1 and G2 testing. Super nice and helpful staff. Very simple test and road test. Currently trying to book my G and the website says that every single day is booked up for the next 4 years which although covid has had an impact seems unlikely. Tried to call and speak to someone since the automated system also says nothing is available and it’s says that there is no one available to take the call, this happened 4 times throughout the day. There is no direct number to call and speak with someone at the test centre just the generic 1888 number which is no help. I will need to make a trip in person I suppose to speak with someone for help with this issue, this measure seems extra and unnecessary. Would rate much higher if there was a direct number, or the 1888 number was actually able to connect me to a worker to inquire about my issue.

I don't understand how there is only 2 people working at front desk all the time. Come by and book a road side test and wait 2 hours. Automated phone booking is a joke.

Writing a test here I dont recommend, lots of back ground noise can be difficult to focus.

Passed my G here today. I was a bit worried after reading all the negative reviews, but I have to say the examiner I got was awesome, made me feel totally comfortable. This definitely helped me cool my nerves. Overall a wonderful experience though the line afterwards to get your temporary license was a bit long. But then again I was in too good of a mood for that to bother me much????

Made me do my g2 with 2 instructors instead of one and the trainee was very rude and not fit for the position. He left all of the curbs in oshawa and made me parallel park next to a driveway. hated my experience, i was treated unfairly, and it was not worth waiting months to do my road test here.

Son waited in line for 3 hours only to be told he needed a signature paper signed before he can write. Went on website...can't find info on what is needed to write. Opening hours listed were wrong so he waited an hour for them to open. Information should be posted clearly on website to avoid wasting people's time. Also, why is the website filled with advertisements? Invest in a professional site.

Came here for G2 drive test. Andrea, the drive test instructor very warm, friendly and helpful. She helped reduce some of the nerves. She is a total asset to your center. Also the lovely lady near the front door was polite, prompt and helpful. Overall a great drive test center. I will come back for my G TEST.

I passed my G2 test, however, the entire experience was confusing and just terrible. For having such a back log on their online website you'd think they'd tried to get things moving fast in an organized manner, however there are no signs and people will be standing outside in line for hours, having to ask other people questions about this drivetest location as they would literally get no response from anyone else, which defeats the whole purpose of social distancing there. There are 3 lines, one being those who pass their tests, one for those who need to take the road test and then those who just need to do a written test or have inquiries about anything else. There are no signs telling you which line is which, you can ask someone or either figure it out yourself. They have the driving examiners walking around and if they aren't your specific instructor they will ignore you like you dont exist, as I made direct eyecontact with one of the instructors (who had her mask underneath her nose) and said hi, she walked past me and ignored me. Speaking of having masks underneath your nose, as I was waiting outside of my car to start the test w/ my mask on, the windows were down and the person who drove me was sitting in the car w her mask below her nose slightly, the first examiner told me I had to wait. I waited around an hour an a half for another examiner and overall the impression I'm getting is that every examiner there hates their job. They seemed understaffed as it is, however theres plenty of people looking for jobs. Maybe print out some signs and set up a tent so you dont have people waiting outside in either 40 degree weather or the rain, idk maybe thats just common sense to me.
