As of day this firm receives a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and that score has been based on 61 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is almost the best one, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we may think that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to put tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Driving School belongs to the category of Trade school.
It was quite a knowledge gaining experience.
I went here in 2019 for heavy equipment operator certs and let me tell you its the best school around. Hands on training the 1st week. And the staff is friendly.
This is a great school
I was enrolled in the Real Estate sales person course and I can truly say I am satisfied. The program was through an online process due to covid19, but it was nothing short of informative and preparing. The instructor Ms. Toni Jennings was amazing. She made sure to cover each topic thoroughly and assist us in a way that catered to each learning style. Even though the corse was online I honestly felt a personal connection and could tell she honestly cared for everyone. And with her firm and strict progressive teaching I feel confident to take the state exam. And I would recommend this real estate corse for everyone.
I love everyone here they dont judge you for your adversities they want u to move on and enjoy life thankyou everyone for ur support wassup pat????
Taking the Lead Abatement Supervisor program now. Marty is a great teacher, very knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell the guy really cares and wants you to succeed.
I sign up for their heavy equipment program And received my certificates changed my life .
DTC is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It changed my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. I found DTC on Facebook and saw that they had free funding so I thought I’d check it out. Masonry wasn’t initially my first choice to take as a program but I was looking for change so I thought I’d try something new. I was nervous when I started because I knew nothing about construction and masonry had looked hard to me, good thing for me my instructor was awesome! We was very hands on and engaging, and was always happy to help me with any questions I had or to help perfect my craft. My instructor loved masonry and teaching us and it showed, he worked with happiness, patience, skill, and perfection, that’s what turned me into the best mason I could be. Three weeks after I started at DTC I had just lost my job in automotive due to the GM strike, and I didn’t know how I would get by. Due to me being OSHA 30 certified and my skills I was taught three weeks into the program I was able to walk onto a construction site by my home and I showed my current credentials, tools, and the rest of the things I would learn while I was a student and I got a job with Beck Construction! Once I started working with Beck Construction and continued my program with DTC I fell in love with masonry I realized that it was my calling in life, and I didn’t want to do anything else as a career, a feeling I had never felt before. Before I graduated at DTC I had 3 months of experience in construction, I had the pleasure of building a Taco Bell, a shopping plaza, and a parking deck at U of M all at the age of 23. The financial stability is a plus, I never thought I could have the chance to make six figures in my twenties without a college a degree. I graduated in February while construction was slow. In March as the weather got warm I got swarmed with calls from employers to be a mason in Michigan and outside of Michigan. For once in my life I had the chance to demand what I wanted to be paid at my skill level , with me being a experienced mason with formal training and experience under the age of 25 I’m like a piece of gold in construction because of the demand of the trade. After weighing my options of what’s best for me and my family I decided to commit to the Bricklayers and Craftsmen Union to work for RAM Construction. The only thing I would change if I could is going to DTC straight out of high school. -
My end goal was met! I obtained a Class A CDL! Thats pretty much the only good thing I can say about this school. The way they have things set up here for students to learn is so out of wack. In my experience, there were 30+ students receiving behind the wheel training outside in the elements; in the rain, wind, snow, hot, cold etc. There was only 2 trucks on the yard for 30+ students. Which gave each student a time of less than a hour behind the wheel in 8 hour class hours periods. With lack of hands on time training, it took me twice the amount of time to learn maneuvers. The person running the CDL class is very unprofessional!! You can't have an opinion or you will become a target. This guy talks to people with complete disrespect. I feel like because a lot of students are fresh from a "long vacation " he treats people like their stupid! As long as they get their grant money this school can care less about your goal to obtain a CDL A! I would certainly not refer ANYONE I know to this school!! The staff are a bunch of gossip queens. The teacher who teaches the students on the road, behind the wheel is hands down the most unprofessional teacher Ive ever met! Again, my goal was met, I gained my license but my experience with this school was for sure a not so good experience!!! If I did it all over again, I would choose a different school.
Great experience great trainers.
I was in the heavy equipment operator program and had a ton of fun. The teacher Richard was amazing, fun and funny. He tough us what we needed.l to know about the equitment. Employee engagement with Jonathan Clark was very awesome. He helped me with my resume. This school is the best by far I have gone to. There are many programs here that can be taken, it's really a friendly school. Everyone's awesome here.

The Heavy Equipment Operator Training Program is a thorough, hands-on training program for those seeking a solid foundation for their Heavy Equipment Operator career. The instructors Richard and JP are not only very knowledgeable but patient to insure we could successfully and confidently demonstrate our abilities. The director Jonathan provided extensive employment engagement training with resume writing and interviewing tips. He continues to provide employment opportunities after program completion. There are a list of credentials offered in this program and definitely worth enrolling!
I truly enjoyed myself. The instructors were very knowledgeable, very patient, and was helpful to everyone in the class. The only problem that I had about this entire visit was the pathway to the door. The entrance is in the back of the building. In order to get there you have to walk through a long alley and around to the back. The alley is between an abandoned building and the school. There are no cameras along the side of the building and once you get into the back it's just one open space kinda looks like a construction site. No one will hear you if you a scream for help. and I don't recall if there is a gate or not but it is very unsafe to walk this entrance. So on safety reasons alone 3 stars. But the actual class was amazing and I would rate them a 5+. I did email them about this safety problem. Hopefully they do something, especially when the majority of the people I saw in the class were ladies.
First class training, for good jobs.
Graduated from the Heavy Equipment Operator training. Awesome teachers John Kelbassa and Johnny Swift. Great experience, beautiful ladies at the front desk were very supportive. My career counselor Johnathan Clark made my training process smooth. I received a job placement in less than 2 weeks after graduation and he supplied all the tools I needed to start my job. Definitely a great start to a life changing career.
Good training and excellent peolpe
Good program
I learned more on youtube. I signed up for the masonry's class building a block porch, well, I actually signed up for all 6 of the classes. . The instructor is very nice and knowledgeable but I'm a hands on kind of person and this was not that. Next Saturday 4.17.2021, will be next class which is hanging drywall and taping, let's see how it goes. Just keeping it real!
Its a great experience thank you
My experience was w as s very satisfying and overwhelming!I loved it @ Detroit Training Center!!
Great school, great instructors, & training programs
The staff here works very hard to make sure you are successful. Mr. Richard Walker & J.P. were very knowledgeable & patient and ensured we knew exactly how to operate the heavy duty machinery using all safety precautions. Jonathan Clark is a great director & ensured we had all of our paperwork in order. Thank you all for what you did for us! They all truly deserve five stars!

Excellent CDL program. The staff is very supportive and understanding. I wish I knew about this place years ago
Really good Classes, they work hard to get a class that best fits your schedule, they're really understanding and are the best of the best in flexibility. And now because of them iam working in Detroit Salt Mines. Truly an amazing school.
My experience at Detroit training was informative. I learned a lot. My teacher was Toni Jennings and she was great. She took her time and making sure our class understands what she was teaching. I will suggest her class if you looking to go into real estate.
DTC is a very interactive and very interesting program for anyone whos looking to refine their ability in the skilles trades. DTC has a very family-like feel within its doors and that can be appreciated by anyone. The courses are very in depth, the field training is very hands on. This is the place for anyone interested in the skilled trades.
