Trevor Bolger is a great instructor. Learning how to drive made me extremely nervous, however, Trevor made me feel very comfortable and explained everything clearly. He taught me so much in such a short space of time and had the patience to go over things how ever many times it took for me to master it. As a result, I felt very prepared going in for my drivers test and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I did Young Drivers of Canada as an adult over 25 and it was honestly a really great experience. The classroom sessions were fun because the instructor was entertaining (though we had 3 and only 1 was good). My in-vehicle instructor was Trevor Bolger and he was great. I was fairly new to driving (only once in the city and a few times in Gander) but he made it easy to understand, kept me from becoming stressed out and explained things in a clear and concise manner. I passed my road test on the first try and have had my license for two years now with no collisions!

Despite being a bit expensive, Young Drivers of Canada is the most established, organized and responsible driver training school in Newfoundland and Labrador (and probably all across Canada) and I think it is worth the fee you pay for compared to other driver training schools in NL. Before finally choosing Young Drivers, I tried another diver training school for budget reasons and unfortunately, my money was wasted without satisfactory result, because of very disorganized, unprofessional and irresponsible way of running business. The main issue is that many driver training schools in NL even don't have enough staff for answering phone calls, replying to e-mails and setting up efficient website. And the reason is that their whole business includes just a few driving instructors and nobody else! It seems that Young Drivers of Canada is the only driver training school in NL (and probably all across Canada) that in addition to having qualified and experienced driving instructors, it could also afford to hire some qualified staff just for communication purposes and setting up an efficient website so you can make sure that you get all the relevant information you are looking for and your questions getting answered.

Would definitely give an over all 5/5 rate to Young Drivers, the place is great and my driving instructor was the best part. Trevor Bolger is one of the best people I have met, I had never driven a vehicle before, so he basically taught me everything. I was never nervous and always looked forward to our lessons. They were fun and overall Trevor is a great teacher and great person.

Before i went to young drivers I never had any experiance on the road. Trevor Bolger taught me very well and now i am super confident with my driving and everything he taught me! His knowledge is unbelieveable and his lessons helped me in accident avoidance and so much more! I did young drivers about 8 years ago and I had Trevor Bolger as my instructor. He was the best, very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Trevor's humor kept me calm and my mind off being so nervous. Not only did he have great road advise but he had plenty of life advise as well. I have never been one to write reviews for almost anything, but I thought that this one individual deserves recognition for the work that his does. When I was a new driver I took 15, 2 and a half hour driving lessons at Young Drivers of Canada, with the instructor Trevor Bolger. Not only was he nice, kind, accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable, but he made me feel comfortable within the first 10 minutes of meeting him. Driving can be fun, but it's also has the potential for serious repercussions if done incorrectly which is more likely if you're not taught properly. Trevor made me comfortable while driving a car, taught me safety advice that I still use today, and he is honestly one of the main reasons I love driving today. Young Drivers of Canada is a great choice for any child to receive driving lessons from, but if you do decide to go make sure you choose Trevor Bolger as your instructor. I have mentioned to countless people to ask for him when signing up, and NONE of them have disappointed. Keep up the great work Trevor, and everyone at Young Drivers of Canada!

Some time has passed since I first sat in the driver's seat of a car. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous then, but after spending some time with my driving instructor Trevor Bolger I was quickly put at ease. He showed me all the fundamentals and showed me that it wasnt something to worry about. Trevor became my friend for that hour we practised driving and he has definitly left a positive impression on me about the quality service that Young Drivers has to offer.

He taught me so much about driving that the in- class could never come close to. After having initially gone to a different driving school that actually went out of business before completion of lessons (and losing the hundreds of dollars I had paid them), I turned to Young Drivers. Getting my drivers license was no easy task in the first place due to having been in a bad accident a couple of years beforehand and being absolutely petrified to get behind the wheel of a car.
