I barely had any experience driving in the city and I was extremely new to switching lanes, flicking on and off the signals that It felt like it would take forever for me to become a confident driver. In just four days with the help with Kamal Gill I was able to work on good habits and become a confident driver that wasn’t stressed. I believe this was only possible due to Kamal’s positive attitude, calmness, and her never give up attitude. She is very clear, and informative, and makes a great instructor. I would 100% recommended her as your instructor if you’re nervous and scared of starting your journey of becoming a great driver.

I recently took several driving lessons with Angela Fuentes to prepare me for my road test and would like to share my experience. I ended up with Road Runner Driving School as they offered Spanish language instructors, and as a native Spanish speaker it helped tremendously in communicating and understanding all the requirements. Angela was always prompt for the lessons and picked me up from my home. While I already had a license from South America, Canada has more stringent requirements and Angela really helped me to understand those differences. Her guidance was very good, allowing me to feel relaxed and comfortable but at the same time making sure to point out any mistakes that were either of a safety concern or would negatively affect my road test. With all of this great direction, I am happy to have passed my road test on the first attempt and now have my Alberta driver license.

I did the 5 day lesson for 2 hours. I’m a relatively fast learner but driving still terrified me keep in mind in 16. The first day was great my instructor, Andrea, relaxed my nerves and i was able to drive well. Throughout the week I learnt how to park, break effectively and various other things so by the 5th day today driving was really fun, easy and straightforward. I really recommend using this driving school

She did EXACTLY what I was looking for in a brush-up lesson, and I left with a ton of helpful feedback that I can continue to work on. Thank you so much, Angela! I really appreciated it. First off, I have to say that Kamal Gill was lovely. She was very kind and understanding, and her feedback was good. Absolutely no complaints there. However, I have to say I am disappointed in the professionalism. For reference, I paid for a 2-hour brush-up lesson. I received a text message, less than 3 hours before the lesson was supposed to start, asking if it could start an hour and a half earlier. Okay, sure - I agreed. They still arrived 20 minutes early - I tried to get out of the door as fast as possible, but they were already getting ready to drive away by the time I got out there. Not a great first impression, but I was still fine. Now, this is where things get frustrating for me. Turns out, there was another student already in the car. And as PART of my 2-hour lesson, I had to drive him to work - this was about a 30/40-minute drive in a straight line on 52nd from the SE to the NE. I have done a ton of driving, and I simply booked this lesson to go over some of the things I was rustier on (such as parking) before my test. However, all in all, I only spent about 30 minutes at the activities I wanted to practice the most. Again, it really disappoints me that I have to say these things because Kamal was fantastic. However, I cannot help but feel like my lesson was a pretty big waste of money. I’m sure they’re great if you’re a new driver, but if you are looking at simply brushing up on specific skills, I would not recommend them.

Wonderful, wonderful school. I did the insurance reduction course with Angela and took the 2 hour driving lessons with William. William is an amazing instructor, he knows the roads better than google maps and taught me so many helpful little tips, tricks, and things to remember that I’d never learned from my parents, all while being incredibly patient, kind and calm. I never felt nervous or uncomfortable once during my lessons with him because of how calm and helpful he was. I had a really fun and nice experience with him and will be a little sad that I finished and won’t have anymore lessons. The class with Angela was useful, informative and very fun at times. It was with several other people around university age and plenty of group activities and breaks when there was getting to be too much info to process. I wish all schools had classes this way haha! Angela was even kind enough to pick me and another student up at a place the next morning and drive us to the school. I could not give any higher praise to this school. I would give 10 stars if I could! Worth every penny. Kind, friendly, patient and knowledgeable instructors who will teach you everything you need to know, tell you what you need to improve on and make you feel like a far far more confident driver. I had only experience driving in parking lots and a few wide, empty roads prior to taking lessons and now I feel confident enough to drive on highways and through the most chaotic streets of downtown. He even adjusted his schedule so he can do brush-up with me before my road test. He prepared me very well for my road test. Today, 11 March2020, at 1:15pm, I did my brush up driving practice with the best instructor of Roadrunner Driving School of Calgary, that is WILLIAM. This patient man taught me every detail of safe driving practically as we were on the road. Then, at 4pm, I had road test for my class 5 GDL. I passed the test without problems. I couldn’t control my joy. I have to many other driving schools and failed many times. I was disappointed so many times. My instructor's name is Kamal Gill. She is an awesome teacher and is so patient with me. One of our lessons is how to parallel park so she gave me lots of pointers and reminders how to do it. She let me practice it a few times until I got the hang of it! Also, she motivates me to focus and really learn everything that I need to drive safely and pass the test. :)

I had a great experience with the instructor William, he was very helpful to improve my driving skills. Thank you, I already passed my road test. However, the main reason for giving the 3 of 5 stars is the lady in customer service who called me two weeks after my road test claiming about a fine for a speeding ticket that occurred after I was done my road test. She was terrible and rude.
