(Deleted my first review to update this) I Had Harpal for my in-car driving portion and she was lovely to work with, driving with her was a very comfortable experience. However PJ and a woman in administration were quite rude. Lied to me about accepting a past certification for the in-class portion, retracted the statement and enrolled me in the online portion at a time I could not take it as I was out of the country. WASTED MY MONEY, and I still don't have the Certificate for reduced insurance. They refused to refund me the in-class portion which I said multiple times I could not take at the time they registered me.It expired as I was out of the country. They wouldn't re register me for another session either. Whoever was part of reception started screaming at me on the phone and wouldn't stop. I had to end the phone and call back and she yelled again. Terrible customer service. Wouldnt recommended to anyone unless you like paying to be mistreated.

I had PJ, great instructor with extensive experience. I came in having an okay amount of practice but the lessons with PJ really helped me. I took the basic 15h online and 10h in car for anyone wondering. I passed my class 5 GDL on my first try, would definitely recommend this driving school.

10 hours behind the wheel and some practice with my roommates got me my license on the first try! PJ is very calm and collected as an instructor and will help correct any bad habits before they start. Not to mention his Honda is really nice to drive (way easier to parallel park than my roommates SUV, too) Thanks PJ driving school! P.S. I'm 26 and just getting my license. So anyone else out there who's anxious or embarrassed, don't worry!

Horrendous driving school. First of all, the theory portion made no sense and was needlessly long. Of course, they covered portions that all other normal driving schools cover, but they also included things that are completely irrelevant, like REM sleep and sleeping patterns. How does that have anything to do with driving? Secondly, the teacher I got was very rude to me; her name was Harpal. Multiple times through the lesson, she was teasing me for being nervous. It’s my first time in the driver's seat – of course I’m nervous, I’ve never driven before! She also took a call with another teacher from PJ’s and was gossiping about another one of their students. This is extremely unprofessional behaviour. Most notably, on the VERY FIRST day, without any other prior driving knowledge, Harpal also taught me how to parallel park (or should I say, yelled at me on how to parallel park) and when I got confused, she was very angry. This yelling continued throughout the latter half of the lesson. All of this information is a lot to take in, I don’t know why she thinks I can absorb this information very quickly and immediately become an A+ driver on the first day. In conclusion, PJ’s Driving School was one of the most unprofessional places I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t want to leave afraid of driving, then I would suggest you find a different driving school.

I got my GDL 10+ years ago now and I wanted to up grade to a full license. I was really nervous as I waiting too long and had already built in some bad habits. My instructor was so confident in my abilities though, he went out of his way to ensure that all the extra practice I wanted with him was achievable given his busy schedule. My advice is, no matter how long you wait to get a full license make sure you re-read the driving book, write down the physical steps you go through when parking (all types) and trust in your instructor. He was absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend PJ Driving School! I had the pleasure of working with Devi to complete my drivers training. I did the 15 hours in class with 10 on the road. They were able to work with my schedule and give me early lessons Monday to Friday. Before doing my training I was so afraid that I had held my learners for 13 years. With Devi I was able to become more confident and am now comfortable driving. She was very patient and made me feel like I could make it through when all I wanted was to give up. I was not able to book an appointment with the drivers after buying the package! I lost my money because the driver didn't make any effort to show up after I bought by package! ( 10 lessons). Once they have the money, PJ driving school told me that their schedule was too full. My assigned driver didn't show show up.I didn't get the certificate that they said they would issue me. PJ driving school is very desperate to sell their packages. However drivers do not show up after the money has been payed.

I paid for this training for my 22 year old son.It took 2 weeks after doing the online instruction to get the first 2 hour on the road training.Then another 2 weeks to get the next 2 hour road training.After that it took a month to get the next 2 hour training.After that it took another month to get then next 2 hour training.The next day was the final 2 hour training..How is a new driver suppose to remember anything from that.He was to,d after the first 2 hour on the road training ,that summer were really busy.I think we should of been told that before we oaid for it,that it would take 3 months to get 10 hours on the road training..Now I have to teach my son how to drive.I wasted $500 for nothing..Not impressed.

I had heard of PJ Driving School four years ago by an acquaintance and later last year after obtaining my class7 and researching driving schools I came upon their name again. This gave me a sense of security as their business is still in existence after a good number of years. I proceeded and went through with the online training and was assigned an amazing instructor whose name is Devi. I had previously decided that I would never learn to drive as I have anxiety and I have seen the way some people drive, which made me sooooo scared. I had 0% confidence and absolutely no prior driving experience. After the ten hours of driving I have a new lease on life as I have so much confidence that I am considering to purchase a car to sharpen up on certain things. Her patience and expertise made me very calm and it also helped me see that “ I can do this”. She also helped me to learn the art of multitasking and quick thinking. I highly highly recommended this company. And when you are being assigned an instructor ask for Devi, you won’t regret it.

I paid for full class before the covid and my son took some classes but covid came and after lockdown they told me my term has expired and I need to pay again.Very unprofessional and not youth friendly. Sending your kids with these guys will make them never to drive again and you may need to repay multiple times. Stay away from pj driving

I had little experience with driving, but I became more confident on the road after my lessons (I took the basic 25: 15hrs online course + 10hrs in-car training). I've done 14 hours of driving at another driving school and came out feeling bad about my driving and very unconfident. PJ Driving School is a godsend and one of the best. In the 5 hour time frame that I had with Instructor Harpal, I learned so much more than I ever did in the other driving school. She is such an amazing, kind instructor who makes sure that you improve on your skills rather than just focusing on what you do best. I am writing this review from an alternate account because I do not want to be identified publicly. I enrolled in Pj Driving School 2 years ago in the summer, and have never ever driven before in my life. I took the online course which was okay, but when it came to the in-road classes my instructor Devi was not very helpful. When it came to parking she would make me write out the steps instead of actually doing it (she was also on her phone while I was doing this). I was extremely uncomfortable and filled with anxiety when driving, and she would consistently yell at me saying I was a "crazy lady" which caused me to cry half of that lesson. I decided to get a partial refund after this, and put off driving for another two years. Ive noticed that I only enrolled in this school because of the reviews, and after closer evaluation, it is clear that most of them are robots. As of right now, i enrolled in another driving school which was much better. I am able to drive more confidently and with less fear. AVOID THIS SCHOOL IF YOU ARE A NEW AND ANXIOUS DRIVER, if you have prior experience, I feel like this school will be okay. EDIT: I do not wish to identify myself because that is my choice and do not associate myself with this business anymore. I decided to write this review after finishing my road classes with my new driving school (NATIONAL DRIVING SCHOOL) and after i remembered my horrible experience with this Devi. I could've been driving earlier and saved my money if I didn't listen to the fake reviews on here. Anyone who reads this review before buying classes please choose another school and even search up the reddit posts about this school. Clearly, everyone can see how unprofessional this "business" responds to reviewers and cannot take criticism to improve. Thank you.

I am so happy! I passed my road test yesterday for my first attempt. I will recommend PJ driving school. I like the option that I can do online class because I have busy schedule. My instructor PJ was very rude. It says on their website that they have flexible accommodating schedule but thats not true at all! It took me more than half a year to finish a 10 hr in car lesson because every time I ask him to schedule me for a lesson he's always like sorry fully booked blah blah. I had a friend who enrolled to a different driving school more later than I did and she finished all her 10 hour in car lesson in less than a week! AND he is not patient at all! he always screams at me for all the little mistakes i did, even on my first time driving he screamed at me for not knowing how to drive. ALSO, he keeps calling me girly and lady like I dont have my own name? One time, I think he stopped by his house to use the washroom and made me wait in the car. Often times too because of his "busy" schedule, he makes me pick up or drop off his other students and yet he shames this other driving school for having his other students at the back seat but PJ does it too? All in all, not a great experience for me. When I was looking for a driving school I looked up the highest rating one and saw this company and hoping it would really be worth my money, but I was disappointed.
