I did my drivers training course through another company and was very unsatisfied. I came to northgate driving school to do some refresher courses with Kelly and had an amazing experience. Would not have passed my drivers exam without him. Kelly has in the business for 25+ years and does a fantastic job teaching his students. Could not recommend him enough!

Had payment ready and they never call you back with appointments or when to start. Dont actually have an office they want cash or check. Would not recommend.

Great experience. I have been driving for nearly 10 years back home so I knew the basics. I took a 2 hour refresher course with Kelly to get familiar with the local laws and just brush up. His instructions were clear and straight forward. Clarified all my doubts and made me practice on my weak points. He is helpful and courteous. Highly recommended! Good luck to all.

I loved my experience at Northgate Driving School. Kelly is a great instructor. He explains very clearly, gives helpful tips and directions that are so easy to remember. He is punctual, very accommodating, replies to text and phone calls promptly. Besides getting successful driving experience (I passed the test and got complimented by the examiner that I am a good driver!), Kelly was so supportive, giving me confidence and lots of encouragement. I highly recommend this school.

I would recommend Northgate driving school, the cost for the education and instruction is very good in comparison, don’t let the low cost fool you. My driving instructor Kelly was engaged, informative, punctual and easy to work with. He gave readings, recommendations and I learned a lot. Always keep learning even after you achieve your license is something Kelly taught me and all drivers need to remember this. Great experience.

When I first started the course I knew next to nothing about driving, but after taking lessons at Northgate Driving School, I can say that I have improved exponentially. The service was excellent and Kelly gave me steps for things like parallel parking which helped me a lot. I know other schools that only take the students around one area but here, we drove all over the city and this really set me up for driving in real life. Would really recommend.

I took Kelly's class back at the start of February and went for my first road test on the 1st of March and passed with a very good score! :) This driving education school is easiely the best one in Edmonton, probably all of Alberta. The classes (which are broken up into three portions each one five hours long) were extremely well presented to people with no experience and people that have a pretty good understanding of driving. The in car portions (ten hours in car, two hours at a time) were well fitted to each students availablilty, was both fun and informative. Kelly honestly cares about making sure that you not only feel confident behind the wheel but that you are safe to both yourself and others. He makes sure that everyone is clear on what he is teaching before he moves onto the next lesson. I've recommended quite a few friends to go to Northgate Driving School, and if you're reading this I encourage you to do the same! The price is so affordable and the experience you'll have with this school is priceless. You're wasting money anywhere else. Thanks again Kelly!

Kelly was a very professional teacher who treats you more like his own child rather than a student. He taught me all the technical rules and techniques that I needed on the road; he was extremely patient while doing so. I passed my road test on my first attempt.

This driving school focuses on teaching you how to be a safe driver and not just pass the road test. Very punctual with pickups, knowledgable, professional and ethical standards are high. I defintely felt I got my money's worth.

I liked how Northgate Driving School split the in-class portion into 3 days as 2 full days are way too long. Kelly was flexible in scheduling the in car portions and he always picked me up on time. We drove all around the city and he made parallel parking so easy with his steps. I would recommend this driving school.
