Truly an amazing driving school. I failed the road test twice before taking lessons here and I passed with 0 points taken off! My instructor was Vivek, he was very kind and a very easy person to talk to. He was very clear in his instructions and made sure I was 100% prepared for the road test. The mock tests prepared me very well for the road test (we went down the same way as it would've been on a test) and even helped clear a LOT of anxiety from the previous tests. The test examiner even complimented my driving skills, telling me I was one of the best drivers he'd seen in a while and asked where I took lessons at! 100% would recommend this driving school, without a doubt. I enrolled my son with iDrive Alberta in Jul 2019, from the get go it was a very smooth process with Vivek and Meeta. Vivek as a co-owner and instructor is such a great ‘coach’ from day one. He is always calm , composed and let my 16 yrs old teenager ( who never drove before) felt comfortable from day 1. He is extremely meticulous on every step , very honest and direct about his feedback on my son’s driving which also keep him informed and helped rectify few habits. We took 7 lessons ( including the road test day) and Vivek accommodated my son’s schedule , including picking him up from his high school , as well as driving him to NE from Evergreen for in-classroom safety course for two weekends. The feedback from the examiner after the test ( which he passed in one shot) was “ your instructor (Vivek) did an amazing job teaching you how to drive safely and effectively ‘ . I would definitely recommend this Driving School. Ranjeet was a very patient and easygoing driving instructor who identified the areas to be improved and worked on them. The Mock test provided at the end of the training was very useful to pass the road test. Managing director Meeta was also very supportive and walked us through the process. This is a great driving school and I had an amazing experience with them. They are very professional, and taught me the exact skills that would I was tested on for my drivers test. They also helped me learn additional skills that will make my time as a driver safe and smooth (such as merging and highway driving). Aymen was my instructor, and he was very patient and a good teacher especially when I was learning how to parallel and perpendicular park. He was always on time to pick me up during each lesson, and had a plan on what we were going to focus on. They were also very flexible when I needed to change my class times last minute! Along with this, all the COVID safety protocols were followed extremely well during my time as their student. I had a wonderful experience with IDrive and would highly recommend it to everyone!

I was able to pass my Class 5 Basic GDL Road Test on my first try today. I completed Package Essential, practiced what I learned in each lesson, and my instructor was Vivek. I liked that my lessons covered in detail what I needed to know for the road test (setup, steering, speed control, signs, intersections, roundabouts, turns, lane changes, parking, mock road test, etc.) and other things that I need to know for driving (highway driving, downtown driving). I had very little driving experience from the other part of the world where driving is in the left. I choose iDrive Alberta in random, and turned out to be one of the most fantastic training experiences. The contact with the main office (Ms. Meeta Talwar)is very prompt always. I took my classes from Mr. Ranjeet (an instructor at idrive Alberta) who is extremely polite, very cheerful and a fantastic teacher. He had immense patience while I learnt driving. He kept giving me feedback now and then, correcting my mistakes and improving the driving everyday. One of the best parts of idrive Alberta is their mock -tests, where Mr. Ranjeet gave me great feedbacks during the mock-tests which helped me pass the driving test at the first attempt. I would strongly recommend any beginner to join idrive Alberta.

I took a detour to make my way to iDrive school. Last year, I had taken lessons and given my road test with a different school and if you can add things up together, you'd know that I didn't clear it last year which is why I reached out to them this year. So, having experienced multiple schools, given road test multiple times, take this from me when I say they're the best in the business. The comforting conversation at the start with Meeta Ma'am assured me to keep my fear aside and get it yet another go. I took my lessons with Mitesh Sir and oh boy, what a fantastic learning experience. The lessons, the learning, the confidence was such a reset on the mental block and fear I had for giving the test again. What also stood out for me personally was the package for the test day. I got 30 mins of a brush up lesson followed by my test. Those few mins of getting comfortable in the car go a long way. Additionally, I was luckier to have Mitesh Sir by my side all through the process of getting checked in at the registry, waiting for the test and ready to congratulate me after I came back with a successful result. I really appreciate the care, concern, quick learning moments and just an overall amazing experience with the iDrive team. Here's wishing all of you success and luck!

I passed my Class 5 GDL road test on my first attempt with the tips from my instructor, Ranjeet, from iDrive Alberta. Ranjeet was a patient teacher, who gave plenty of advice on how to excel at the road test. I already had some experience driving on the road with my dad, but Ranjeet helped to polish my driving by catching and correcting mistakes like shoulder checks and judging parking distance. We did plenty of practice road tests during our lessons too, in which I was able to gain plenty of insight on common errors that could occur that could cause me to lose points/fail the test. Thanks so much, Ranjeet! The iDrive logistical staff, in general, were really helpful. The staff member, Meeta, clearly and promptly answered my questions when I texted and called. I also appreciate how accommodating the staff were. When I first registered with iDrive at the end of May, my original teacher only had space for lessons with me starting in July, however, I really wanted to complete my driver training before June ended. I contacted Meeta with my concerns, and she was able to arrange another teacher, Ranjeet, within a few days, in which she kept me updated throughout. Thanks so much for your help!

Vivek is an excellent instructor and is very patient and knowledgeable when you are in the car with him. I had a great experience with iDrive Alberta. My instructor was Vivek, and he was an amazing instructor/teacher. Being a nervous driver, I needed a patient and experienced person and he came through. I decided to take the road test the day I had my last lesson. He took me round the test area, told me all I needed to know. He was so sure I will pass the road test and get the license that day. However, I was extremely nervous. Long story short, I got my licence that day. It was my first try and it was like a walk in the park for me. I recommend this driving school 101%. I took my classes from iDrive Alberta Driving School. My instructor Vivek got all driving etiquettes engrained in me and ensured I got the confidence to take up my exam. I was exposed to all driving signs, intersections and rules of the road not just to ensure I would be prepared for my driving test but also to make me a safe driver. On test day, when my test was over, my examiner took a few minutes to enquire where I was trained and mentioned that he was impressed with the training I received, ensuring all the required driving practices were taught. Examiner saw the car fitted with requisite accessories inside the car for the instructor to observe students and ensure drivers were taught correctly. Needless to say I cleared the exam. I have twin daughters each took 5 driving courses, they felt that the rules were explained very clearly and the materials was taught in a fun way so easy to remember. The instructor also showed many useful videos and diagrams of how to park and make turns. He worked with each of them on specific things that they were not very strong and made them feel confident and safe to drive on their own. Both of my daughters passed the road test on the first try, which many people who didn't take courses were not able to do. I highly recommend this driving school!

iDrive Alberta is a wonderful organization that is really great at teaching drivers safety and skills. I hired them for a brush up lesson for my daughter since she was going for her class five advanced test. Vivek is an extremely professional, thorough and patient instructor. He goes above and beyond for his students to make sure they not only learn road rules, safety and driving maneuvers, but understand the basic logic behind them. His brush up lesson was absolutely phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend him. He is the reason why my daughter was successful at her first attempt at class 5 and now has her licence!

I had Ranjeet as my driving instructor, he was really friendly and supportive. The mock tests which were done in the last class were more than helpful, I got to know some of my weak points. The mock tests were taken on the roads near the registry I applied for my road test and it was really helpful and beneficial for my test. Vivek is an excellent instructor and clearly has a lot of knowledge when it comes to driving, he is also really patient and explains the basics very well. Vivek was my instructor when I drove. I had no driving experience at all and my family has a big SUV which I was uncomfortable driving at first. Every single lesson i learned something new with him, from driving in a parking lot to neighborhood driving to highways and downtown and parallel parking, etc...
