I would not reccomend to anyone that doesn't have a set schedule. ESPECIALLY NOT DURING THE SUMMER .The drivers are spread so thin that you have to make driving appointments 3 weeks in advance and even then if they mess up booking they don't find a way to rectify it . If you want to get your driving lessons done quickly look for another school or wait till winter .

I originally contracted Driving 101 in February of 2020, prior to COVID with the idea of having them teach my daughter during the winter so she got experience. While we got a couple of lesson in prior to the pandemic, we were forced to stop during the lock down. Even though we were paused, they kept contact with us and were great at managing our expectations. With all the bumps we had during our time working with them, their team did a great job of working through each and every one of them. The instruction my daughter received was at her level, ensured that there was progress in her development and confidence as a driver and prepared her to be safe on the roads. Their instruction and approach has given me a little more piece of mind in getting my daughter on the road as a competent driver. Thanks Tahsin, great work!

I can’t say enough good things about my driving instructor, Solveig. She is absolutely amazing! In less than a month she improved my driving from barely being able to drive in an empty parking lot to passing my drivers test on the first try. She was exactly what I needed, she was calm and patient but also forced me out of my comfort zone in the kindest way possible. Everyday when I came home from driving with her I was amazed at how confident I felt. She’s also super funny and a pleasure to hang out with for two hours a day, would definitely recommend. The only negative thing I have to say about Driving 101 is in regards to the face-to-face class sessions, I would definitely recommend spending the extra $50 to take it online.

As a 26 year old who only just got their license, DRIVING 101 was a truly amazing and memorable place to learn to drive. My instructor Tahsin is a person who is truly passionate about teaching people to drive. Many times, he went out of his way to teach me, often at inconvenient times. He really understood the challenges and helped foster a most positive environment. In short, he had the ability to put people at ease and feel truly comfortable driving. A very kind-hearted man who was always in a happy and excited mood and was always encouraging, right down to the road test. I would HIGHLY recommend Driving 101 to people who are set on their license but are nervous with driving and find it challenging. You will instantly feel comfortable driving, and the entire staff create a highly positive and stress-free learning environment. In short, THANK YOU to Driving 101 and Tahsin. The instructor Tashin was incredibly helpful, he made me feel comfortable and got me used to driving like i never thought i would. before i went to Driving 101 i was terrible at driving like i would get so nervous just thinking about it. The program driving 101 has available was really helpful in teaching me driving skills. There was a perfect amount of driving and classroom time in order for me to learn the proper skills and be very comfortable driving. The instructor, Tahsin was very understanding and patient with me while I was learning and he was also very friendly which made me feel a lot more comfortable learning. The price was very reasonable and it was definitely worth the money. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone learning to drive!

Driving 101 was very easy to work with. They picked up and dropped off where ever we needed. The classroom learning was also very helpful. They provided a certificate of completion to reduce our insurance premium. Very happy with our experience...2 more kids to go.

If you are a first-time driver, i would definitely recommend Tahsin. He taught me how to turn first and all the basic skills before I started driving on major roads, which made me feel a lot less scared of driving. One thing I didn't like was how they handled extra time they had to give me due to some technical issues. I wish they would be more prompt in arranging new schedules instead of me phoning them. Other than that, the prices are very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend this school to my friends.

I’d like to thank and share my experience with "Driving 101" in Calgary, AB. After all the searching in the internet and yellow pages, I found the Driving 101 school and instructor Tahsin. He is wonderful teacher and driving Instructor and I have learned how to drive properly and safely. And I know what to expect in the real road test. I passed my road test at first attempt- time and It was just fantastic!!! Probably, I could not have done it without Tashin and driving 101!! Was extremely nervous for my test but his tips and techniques were very useful and helped me pass my test on the first attempt! All praises for Driving 101 from day 1, in the classroom, to our driving lessons, and up to my road test. Tahsin really knows his stuff. The classroom part, he made things really fun while giving us all the inputs we need to learn. Plus the fact that he's really honest and considerate. You'll get what I'm saying when you enroll in his school. I`ve been driving for more than 10 years from other country, but he thought me well and some techniques I didn`t know before. I didn`t just learn, but I also gained a good friend. You can never go wrong with Driving 101. Impressive!!! Tahsin is a great teacher. I had never driven in my life before I took the classes with Tahsin. He is very patient and makes sure that you are not nervous while driving. His instructions are clear and helpful. I passed the road test on the first go after taking five classes with him.

When I started this course I was terrified to drive. Shahid helped me slowly each week grow to be comfortable getting around town. He is always calm and patient which is exactly what I needed. The dispatcher was also very pleasant to deal with as I have a nightmare schedule and travel often and last minute for work. They were very accommodating. I opted for the online course which was average/a little dry. The in class course would have been more interesting. Overall I would certainly recommend this company.

Very good prices and Tahsin is the best instructor you can get, he will help and make sure you learn everything within your comfort zone and safely.. Couple family friends recommended me to to him, and it was a great decision. I'm 17 and passed my road test at crowfoot first attempt with 0 points all thanks to driving 101. Must try to see.

My instructor was Tahsin and he was amazing! I didn't have any driving experience going into the lessons, but he was very helpful and friendly. I was the most nervous about learning parking, but he shared tips and tricks which were extremely helpful! I passed my driving test on the first try! I would definitely recommend them

Driving 101, Calgary is the best. The trainer provides plenty of effective techniques that are easy to follow. The trainer is also positive, patient and friendly. The trainer pin points the areas to improve in a easy to digest manner. So it is easy and quick to rectify. All of these aspects have helped me a lot to learn and improve in every class without being nervous on the road. I highly recommend Driving 101. After the class, I am well equipped and a confident driver on the road :-)

Loved the class! I decided to take the online option for the in-class portion and it was really easy. It was nice to be able to do it whenever I wanted. People are busy! I'm 24 and have a job and it was really cool to be able to do it whenever. The driving was super great. My teacher Yassin was very helpful and kind! I made sure all of my classes were with him because he as amazing! The class hours were really good, they have several options including evenings and weekends. They also pick you up and drop you off anywhere you'd like! I passed my road test yesterday (first try) and will be recommending this class to everyone! Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic experience. I always felt the instructor (Tahsin) personally invested in my success. He prepared me very well for my road test and I passed on my first attempt. I did 2-hours brush up sessions with Tahsin. His honesty and integrity shined through when he suggested I cancel an extra session I had booked because he felt I was ready and he was right! The rates are reasonable and the service is excellent. Two thumbs up for Driving 101 and Tahsin! You won't regret it.

Hands down the best driving and classroom experience I have ever been through. It was my first time driving so I was very anxious to drive but Tashsin helped me get over my fear of driving and I have much more confidence in driving! Also, the classroom part felt much shorter than it should be because he makes funny stories of his experiences in driving and very humorous as well! Driving 101, instructor Shalid: Booked a driving lesson with Shalid. The man never showed up, he sent an email stating that he was at our curb at the correct time. We were waiting for him with the front door open and could clearly see he was never there. We then phoned him and eventually got through, where upon he said he was still with another student, but would be at our address shortly. We phoned again 20mins later, and he said he could not find our address, and since we had been waiting 30mins already we cancelled the appointment. Most unreliable and unprofessional service.

Our son just finished 10 hours of driving lessons with Tahsin and the 15 hour online class to prepare for his Road Test. We were incredibly pleased with his instruction. Our son reported feeling comfortable with Tahsin and really enjoyed his sense of humor. He learned a lot and would often come home from driving with hand written diagrams and notes to help him study. He passed his Road Test on the first try! We would highly recommend Driving 101! From their friendly and helpful office staff to their instruction, it was great! We had an amazing experience with Driving 101! Tahsin is a wonderful instructor. We initially paid for extra driving time for our daughter, but he let us know that she was doing so well he didn’t think it was required. After 5 driving lessons (10 standard hours), he offered to provide his car which she was comfortable in for her road test in exchange for the additional hours paid and also refunded us money to make up for the difference. She passed with flying colors! We were so impressed with his honesty and professionalism. I highly recommend driving 101 to anyone. Thank you!

Classroom was fine for my son but practical on the road driving was terrible. Medo spent most of my son's driving time touring the recent flood damage in Calgary or driving other students back home across the city. Driving 101 never taught my son to make a proper right or left hand turn. When I brought this up to the owner after his lessons he promised to take my son out himself and teach him. The owner never got back to me and my son proceeded to fail his test two times because of crosswalk and turning violations. In class instruction is the easy part but must be reinforced with good practical on the road driving experience. Driving 101 failed my son in this respect.

Although I am not a new driver, my driving habits were developed in a driving culture quite different from that in Canada. I had a tough time with the tests here. On road brush-up lessons with Driving 101 helped me finally pass the test. Tahsin and Medo were patient and encouraging and seemed to care that I learn to drive well. I'd recommend them to newcomers or drivers who would like to learn to drive more confidently.

The owner is extremely rude, once he knows that you don't have a family as back up he treats you horrible. I have some emotional issues to learn to drive, and the way that he treated me ( yelling), made me left him in the middle of the class and order a uber to go home, while he was yelling to obeying him and come back to the car. Guess what , the emotional issues that I have just increased. So AVOID at all cost if you don't have your parents or a partner to show him that you have someone that supports you. I had class with Yassin that was super friendly, just one class that Yassin wouldn't be in the city and he ( the owner), had to replace him just for one class... 1 hour was enough to ruin all the good work that Yassin did. Another issues: horrible agenda, you never can have the classes with short intervals and according the owner it is how it is I should have a family or friend who teach me between the lessons.
