Overall a very good experience and worth every penny you spend on it. The in-class sessions are very informative and useful to provide those details which we usually over look or are completely oblivious to. They are made fun unlike the boring class room environments with activities and tasks. The in-car sessions were professional and well trained. The quality of tips and tricks thought to get a hang on defensive driving are quite good. I would definitely recommend this place.

I bought a road test package with continental and did the theory modules online. My driving instructor was Asad and he is an amazing instructor that I will definitely recommend to anybody! He made driving seemed so easy and manageable right off the bat, and is very easy-going, kind, wise, and a fun person to talk to! Thanks to our 10 hours of in car lessons together and the one hour of road test practice right before the road test, I passed my G2 on the first try!! I bought the package that encompassed the 20 hrs of in class training, 10 hrs of in car training, as well as using the car for the drive test. The school also offers an amazing pick up and drop off service. Ali was amazing in teaching the in class training, as he was very thorough and very detailed. He was always available and open to questions! He was very patient with many of us who had tons of questions. Syed was super in instructing the in car training. I found that he saw what I was struggling with and practiced a lot with me, teaching me ways to help my anxiety with driving and was also very patient and understanding. As he's been teaching students on how to drive, he goes over with you the course that DriveTest will be testing you, which made me feel more comfortable and know how to control the vehicle. I had never driven a car on the streets until Syed had taught me and I was able to pass the DriveTest exam! They have thoroughly prepped me for my exam.

Continental Driving school- I can define this in terms of Trust, confidence and hospitality. I was not having any experience prior to joining the class and I was not knowing much about car so was not confidence enough that I can drive easily. After joining the complete BDE class I got confidence and it was truly worth that I chose this. I got my trainer Asad and from there actual journey started :) He helped me to understand each and every basic details of driving technique and way of driving. Asad is by far the most professional, patient, and high-quality driving instructor that I've ever seen. Not only will he make sure you are well equipped for any road test that you are booking for, but he'll also take you through 3 point turns, parallel parking, uphill and downhill parking and is always quick to let you know of any mistakes you've committed and will patiently tell you on what to do to improve upon your mistake. I highly recommend Asad if you are a beginner driver looking to improve upon your own driving skills.

I passed my G2 road test today, yay! I'll be honest, at first I was really scared of the road especially with my first driving class as I had ZERO experience. However, the instructor encouraged me to face my fears and not be as nervous and over time, that did help. Yes, the instructor isn't always going to be kind and gentle and may get frustrated BUT, that's only because he doesn't want you to make the same mistakes and wants you to be the best and safetest driver you can be. The in-class teacher, Syed, was very knowledgable and really directed that knowledge towards us. He's also very outgoing and his small stories about his driving experiences always kept us amused. Tip, schedule your classes appropriately and always be on time.

After some time passed I decided to try again and was lucky enough to have Syed as an instructor - he was without a doubt the reason I passed my test this time around! Athar is an amazing driving instructor. He is patient, kind, professional, and makes an effort to get to know you. He has an amazing technique for parallel parking and accommodates to your need as a driver. As you are driving, he will ask you what the speed limit is to see if you are paying attention to signs, gives great verbal and non-verbal cues to improve tracking in your lane and turning, and makes conversation as you drive which I find very useful since people will usually be listening to other people talk or have music on so its nice to get used to those audio distractions. With his lessons, I am confident I will do well on the road test and these lessons are definitely worth the prices.

The service here was very good, Mr. Athar puts a lot of time and effort into his students in order to see them pass. At first I was very nervous and uncomfortable with driving, but after a while and with the help of Mr.Athar I was able to gain confidence and eventually be able to pass with ease. The best part is that if you are having trouble he is more then happy to spend extra hours to help you succeed. Great services. I had several in-car lessons, which were very practical. The instructor is very knowledgeable and experienced, and he knows the driving process and test inside out. Every in-car lesson involves going to a real test center in Kitchener and practicing multiple real routes that you might actually have on a test day. The school also offers a pick-up service which I value very much. I passed the G2 road test at the first attempt due to Continental Driving School.

Fortunately, I found Mr. Syed as a coach. The whole process of learning the car was very professional, kind, patient, and the teaching was very comprehensive and practical. Although the traffic regulations and driving habits in Ontario are very different from those in China, and the husband has a problem with his neck, and he does not understand English, coupled with my poor translation, the coach even basically got the talk and gestures, and the husband went smoothly once. Passed my G2 Road Test first try with my Instructor Asad, who is very easy to work with and very accommodating. Before I had started this school I had no experience in driving a car, but by the time my test came up, i was not nervous or doubtful of my abilities to pass at all. Of course, I made mistakes during my lessons, but through the analysis provided i was able to understand what i was doing wrong, and correct them for the best results on my driving test. The wait-times for G2 road tests can be sort of ridiculous, but Asad has put together a method of providing the in-car lessons at the appropriate dates to ensure that you will retain the information and driving skills necessary to drive on the road. So, if you have him and the in-car lessons are more spread apart, it is completely intentional and makes a lot of sense when put into practice. It's very hard to fail with him teaching you! Thanks again Asad.

Don't recommend continental driving to someone who gets anxious and stressed easily. My instructor would constantly get angry with me and talk to me in an aggressive tone. When leaving a parking lot he would rush me to leave because the cars behind me were getting "upset", when I was making sure I had full visibility around me. It's learned that we should not let the emotions of others control our driving (for example if someone honks at you) and he definitely contradicted this statement. Overall, it wasn't a good experience, I could name off more things but then this post would turn into an essay.

Asad is a very knowledgeable and sincere driving instructor. He is a very good observer and and will ensure that he gives you 100% attention while driving. He will teach you all the minute tricks and also share important tips which will help you in becoming a good driver. He is aways on time and very friendly. If you commit a mistake he will immediately correct you and will make you do the same thing again and again so that it becomes perfect. The practice session on the day of the drive test is what I found the most useful. Asad went above and beyond to ensure that I am absolutely confident and comfortable on the drive test day. I had Mr.Syed as my driving instructor and he was great! he mad sure that that not only that I was ready for my G2 road test but also made sure that I knew that I was ready for the test. he had great communication inside and outside of the car and is very knowledgeable and passionate about helping others get onto the road. The practice before my test was very helpful and resulted in me passing my test on the first try! He was so nice and dropped me off where I would be able to get a ride home after my test although he did not have to do so and i'm thankful for that. Took 5 hours of G2 practice with Syed and used his car for the test. I started with him not being able to park at all and barely being able to turn, and after the first 2 hours, I was able to do all of it (turning, parallel parking, pull-in parking, reverse parking, parking on hills, 3-point turns...). I passed first try! Syed is very laid back, positive, and encouraging teacher and is excellent at directing the student as to how to do a manoeuvre. He doesn't freak out when a mistake is made, so I never got flustered while driving with him. He teaches the test very well and lets you know what the evaluators are looking for, something I found extremely helpful. He also brought me on the highway during our fourth hour and around Waterloo city centre. This helped build my confidence because it showed me that he not only trusted my ability to drive, but also that he didn't think there was anything more I could get out of practicing in the test area. I live in a more rural community, so to be shown and taught the traffic signs and directions in a city was something I didn't even know I needed but am very glad to have. Overall, 11/10! It was a great experience to prepare for G2 test with this school. My trainer was Mr. Asad who is very calm and respectful. He trained me to avoid most of the mistakes but he was not very strict in pointing out all my mistakes while driving. Possibly, being strict may be taken as disrespectful in Canada, So, I won't say that he did it intentionally. Overall, I passed my G2 test in second attempt. In first attempt, I committed many small mistakes which may be because of less practice and anxiety. Possibly, my trainer was not as strict as examiner that was one of the many reasons I was not so accurate during my first test. Otherwise, all staff at driving school is good and helpful. Theory classes were fantastic and well explained. I wish them a good business :) I will recommend others to learn driving from this school but also caution that don't expect spoon feeding. You have to be self motivated to learn all the skills from other sources like YouTube.

I had about an hour of driving experience (from several years ago) before taking lessons with Asad. After only the 11 hours of driving lessons I was able to pass my G2 test! I didn't have a car to practice outside of class so this was entirely due to the lessons. The road test package with an extra hour lesson before the test was definitely worth it to get some practice and get warmed up right before. Asad also knew how to deal with the bureaucracy of the DriveTest centre so that helped reduce some of the stress day of. I also thought Ali did a great job with the in class lessons. 20 hours is a bit of a slog, but Ali did a good job keeping us engaged. Definitely a great value for the experience and the insurance discount!

Asad was one of the best i've had....everything he told me really stuck, his explinations of why we had to do what we do helped make the learning easier to remember, he pointed out a lot of things that you need to watch out for in a calm, professional, easy to understand manner. I had a lot of issues and i feel he solved a lot of them and made me into a better, more well rounded driver. I passed my G2 driving test today in my first attempt. Credit goes to Mr. Asad for his in-car training sessions. I never drove a car before his classes and he made me very comfortable while I was learning from scratch. He went above and beyond while teaching me how to drive safely. He knows several ways to explain the same thing until the student understands. He will provide you physical clues such as how to know that you have achieved 45 degree angle while parallel parking (see a particular position of right mirror and back side of reference car). Similarly, for parking, he taught me several tricks to park properly and it really works very well. Overall, I can say that I couldn't think of a better in-car instructor. I have heard many instructors are rude to students but Mr. Asad has been very humble and professional while teaching me. He is sometimes entertaining too. One area where he could improve is his English speaking skills, sometimes, there are minor grammatical errors, but, it rarely affects his teachings. My in-class instructor was Mr. Syed, who has in-depth knowledge related to all aspects of driving. He is enough experienced that he doesn't need any note/handout while teaching. Sometimes, it feels like he is a robot when he speaks too fast (just kidding). The in-class training was very helpful especially for me because I didn't know much about car and driving before the classes.

Very patient with you and will not get frustrated if you make mistakes. I’ve had instructors in the past and they would always resort to yelling, but my instructor Athar from Continental Driving School kept a very calm and comforting tone throughout all my sessions no matter what. After my sessions, I had a 2 hour session right before my test and I was very nervous and anxious. My driving instructor made sure to comfort and reassure me. He helped me stay cool and calm for my test and I passed first attempt with him. I had a very good experience training under Mr. Sayed with Continental driving school. He has what I'd call the perfect balance whilst training one to drive. He gives you enough time to learn, understand and master the manuvers required to pass your g test of defense driving. He utilizes the time available to work on whatever you personally need to work on. Another wonderful part about learning from him is that he encourages you with a very positive language. Instead of saying 'dont do this, you will fail,' he uses positive language like 'do this instead and you will surely pass. He has a very good judgement of assessing your skills and giving a genuine feed back that helps you work on what really needs to be worked on. Another wonderful trait I noticed and thought was essential to share- if you need minimum classes he will not talk you into doing more just for the sake of more business. Did an hour private lesson with Syed to determine where I was at in terms of being able to pass the g1 exit test. By the end of the session, he had cleaned up little mistakes and helped me with confidence to pass the test. Also booked the car for the day of the test. Very reasonable rates and helpful instructors. Pickup and drop off is very nice, even after having to wait over an hour at the drive test center after the test for paperwork, Syed still was able to manage to drop me back off at home while fitting in other previously scheduled lessons. It has been over half a year since I got my G2 license, so my review is surely overdue!!. I passed my G2 test by only one attempt with the help of the driving instructors at Continental. Both of the in-class and in-car instructors are very professional and excellent. What I feel most grateful for taking driving lessons at Continental are that I have built a correct mindset for driving and that I have learned the essential technique with which I was able to pass the test and also to drive safely and properly. Just an update: yesterday (Feb 19th, 2019) I passed my G test (and it was my first attempt). Before the test, I did a lot of practice with the in-car instructor. Apparently, the instructor is most experienced and not only did he taught me things for the test, but he also gave me helpful tips for driving by myself. During the test, I was very confident and was not nervous at all. Although I encountered new traffic condition that I had not experienced during my training, I handled the situation properly and at the end passed the test. I'd recommend Continental driving school for everyone who wants to learn to drive and get their driving license. I did not know anything about driving before going to Continental, but now I have got my G license and I have learned a lot in terms of driving properly and defensively.

Worst ever experience! On Monday, I booked a driving lesson with an instructor for Tuesday at 7:30. In the chat history actually said "See you tomorrow". On Tuesday at 7:30, he said he mistakenly scheduled me on Wednesday. I asked him if he is still available to do the lesson now. He said yes, so I said "Okay, I will wait at the same spot". 40 minutes later, he still did not show up! I texted him if he is actually coming or not. He said he will come on Wednesday instead and accused that it is me who booked him for Wednesday! All the chat history are still here and he still wanted to lie about it! I will not want to find someone who has no responsibility like him to teach me driving!

I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family, and will be looking to Continental when I aim to get my G license. I took the full Beginning Driver Education course + G2 road test package. They responded to my questions right away, and were able to fit me into my preferred course times. My in-class portion of the BDE course was taught by Ali, and was very educational and information-dense - I filled half a small notebook with good points and examples. I was able to learn a lot about defensive driving and safe driving, and corrected several bad assumptions and incorrect "common sense" ideas I had. The class discussions and demonstrations were very helpful and illuminating. My instructor for the road lessons, Mr. Asif Syed, was very knowledgeable, patient and observant. Because of my great inexperience, I was making a lot of mistakes, and keeping up with everything was overwhelming at first. Asif helped me get used to the road - the expressway, too - and helped me get the fundamentals of driving. His style is very forward, but I think that's one reason why it gets results. As I had time between the end of the BDE course and my booked road test, I booked some more lessons in between to stay crisp and keep improving. Asif was just as cordial, helpful and educational all the way through to - and including - the day of the test. Above all else, I now feel much more confident and aware on the road, and will now always remember to think about the big picture.

I don't recommend this driving school. I had a bad expirience, when we came to Canada we were allowed to take the G test directly due to the fact that we already had a drivers licence from back home. The instructor was not interested in helping at all, more than that he kept making me feel bad about my driving. Instead of correcting my flaws, he kept telling me I should go for G2. Then, I switched schools, went to ProDrivers, took only 3 lessons and passed the G from my first try.

My father had Syed as a driving instructor for his test that he did today. While Syed taught him the skills that he needed to know and he passed the test, there is another side to this instructor Syed. My father gave him money for the lessons and the use of the vehicle and he was supposed to be given back change for the money as he was paid more. Syed told him no then when my father said well you owe me money, Syed decided that he would only give him back HALF of what he was supposed to give my father back as change. After that he told my father who is a senior person 72 years of age to find his own way back home after he was picking him up and dropping him back home all week. That was the deal with the driving school. After awhile Syed changed his mind and decided to drop him home. What kind of ethical person tries to take advantage of a senior person with money and then tell them find their own way home because they did not want to give them back money owed to them? That is extremely disgusting behavior. Just for that I am giving the lowest rating and will never recommend this school to anyone.

He is bad at teaching driving. i went for two instructors, one is here. one is another one my friend recommend to me. The instructor in this school is really really bad i ever had. He is just wasting my money and time. and every time i had a course with him is a horrible experience. NEVER RECOMMENDED!!!!!! Which makes me feel so bad is that the instructor who named Syed never shows any respect to you. after i finished 10 hours in car practice, he wants me to practice with him for more hours to earn more money, however, i switched to another school. after he knows he looks like mad and becomes very rude. i used his car for the test since i bought the package. Luckily, i pass the G2 TEST. The most ridiculous thing is that he seems to be really disappointed that i have passed the G2.

I would definitely recommend Continental Driving School. The rates are incredibly reasonable and the hours were flexible to my needs. My in class sessions were informative and thorough. My in class teacher Ali was knowledgeable and he even made some jokes here and there to keep it fun. The in class portion provided education on defensive driving techniques that prepared me adequately for the in car sessions. My driving instructor was Asad. He was very patient, kind and understanding of the fact that I had very little experience driving. I’ve been a student for most of my life and never needed to drive until I decided finally that it was time. He was supportive and was able to identify when I needed to be challenged and which areas required more time and consideration. Overall, I completed 5 in car sessions (10 hours) as per the standard plus an additional 2 hours the day of the test to feel fully prepared. I am happy to say I passed and received my G2 on the FIRST attempt!

Best driving school out there. My instructor treated me as if I was his own daughter, which made the learning process so much easier and comfortable for me. He kept calm when I would make a mistake and sometimes would even laugh it off with me, which I found to be very helpful after making major mistakes. The in class sessions were good and the teacher kept me engaged for the most part. The in car sessions were absolutely awful, the instructor would constantly yell at me rather than speaking at a calm tone making me even more anxious. Almost every session he would make us park at food basics for at least 15 minutes or more so he could buy groceries and do random things, as I sat in the cold car and waited. I had a wonderful experience with Continental Driving School. Ali, the in class instructor, clearly knew all of the information inside out and made the often dry material easy to understand. Asad was my in car instructor. I am a couple of decades older than most beginner drivers, and had many years of fear built up after being in an accident when I was 16. In less than 7 weeks, he helped me go from being scared to release the brake in an empty parking lot during my first lesson, to passing my G2 on my first attempt. Asad is very patient, and pointed out my mistakes without making me feel discouraged. He also exposed me to many different driving situations such as roundabouts, parking lots, downtown driving, and seven trips on the Conestoga Parkway.
