I had the opportunity to take lessons from the best driving instructor Mr.Valentine! He was really good .All the small tricks and methods he showed came into use during the test.In fact it became difficult for the examiner to find mistakes during my road test .I would highly recommend taking lessons under him and I dont think you will face difficulties in passing the road test if he's your instructor!

I'm so thankful to City of Champions driving school for helping me pass my road test. For context I have almost a decade of driving experience outside Canada. As a new comer to the country I felt I had enough experience to ace the road test without much trouble, I was wrong. I initially signed up for a two hour brush up. Thinking that was enough. Looking back I can see now that I was not at all ready for the test. I didn't have enough hours behind the wheel to practice and build confidence before the test. I had already booked a date before training with city of Champions, that's was also a mistake. After failing my first test at the end of February Valentine the owner of CofC was full of encouragement. I was about to book more comprehensive lessons with CofC before COVID hit and put a stop to my plans up until August when I was able to book another test. This time I wouldn't make the same mistake. Even though I'd been driving a lot in the last few months I called CofC to book sessions in the days leading to the test. I also booked the car I would be training with for the test. This is very important because after training with the car I knew I'd feel familiar with it which would also help with the test. My second trainer was AJ. He was awesome, very friendly guy. He let me drive and was only critical on things that would lead to a fail. At this point because I'd driven a lot more I felt more confident, AJ reinforced that with his style of training. Training with him really made me feel calm and relaxed. On the day I booked a 2 hour session right before the test. AJ took me round the area of the test on the west side and prepared me. It felt like I was driving with my friend instead of an instructor. In the end I passed with only a score of 45 points which the kind examiner explained were not due to any major violations but minor things like timing of my lane change. I would recommend CofC to anyone looking to pass the test. They offer a full range of in class and on-road training. I only wish I'd taken advantage of the very low prices they offered and booked enough lessons way back in February. Perhaps I might have passed my test then. Thank you CofC, thank you Valentine and thank you AJ.

I needed some practice before my drivers exam so I did some research online and found City of Champions Driving School, I was very pleased with the outcome. I did not purchase any classes but rather brush up courses. Valentine was very patient and very communicative, he shows you what to do and explains it very well so that you have the knowledge and confidence when you do your exam. I also used the company vehicle for the exam as well and recommend it for anyone curious about the vehicle rental as it is good to use the same vehicle for the exam as the one you use for training.

How is it possible that this school is 5 star? Only explanation, family and friends of this business are reviewing and rating the school. The instructor that taught my daughter was poor and did nothing to prepare her for the exam or teach her how to drive. I specifically went with this school in hopes that my daughter would receive top notch and professional instruction. My daughter was left unprepared, little to no confidence and confused. This was her feedback, not mine. I only was able to see first hand when she would practice with me. It unfortunately showed. I am not a teacher and did not want to pass on any of my bad driving habits to my daughter. Hence the reason I went with this school thinking they were amazing due to all the rave reviews. Stay away and look elsewhere.

Here is a brief story of how I ended at this professional driving school: I came to Canada with great experience of driving but I went for the road test with that confidence and I failed hands down, the first time so I was advised to look for a driving school to familiarize myself with Edmonton driving way, as I was frustrated on Facebook and googling all names I found City of Champions driving school which indeed trains champions like their name, I did 10hours of driving, did my last 1.5hours of the 10hours on the day for my road test, and wow exactly what the best trainer named AJ a friendly and amazing person to drive along with taught me, I passed my test with absolute great performance that my examiner was so impressed herself when she learnt that I had not driven in Canada. My long story is to show you there is a professional, a very supportive driving school that is going to stand with you from day one til you have passed your exam and it’s only CITY OF CHAMPIONS DRIVING SCHOOL that produces champion drivers. Let’s reduce road accidents by going to professional driving schools like this. (????I have put my first results when I failed to make sure you believe this is a true personal experience????) "Third times the Charm" Valentine was the charm for my third road test. Yes I failed twice, was referred to Valentine and then We Did It. talking to him over the phone to set our first appointment he told me "I am gonna teach you all you need to pass". When my daughter started her drivers training course she had zero driving under her belt and just after 10 hours in the car she was doing so much better. Two days before her drivers test I realized my car wouldn’t be adequate for the test cause I had a cracked windshield. They moved their schedule around for us to accommodate us so we were be able to rent their car for her test. Thank you so much. You guys are amazing. She found him to be very thorough and detailed in training, explaining all the signs and intersections and how to properly manouver traffic lights. He was patient with her as a first time driver and was always accommodating when meeting her at different locations. In July 2018, I needed an urgent brush up in order to upgrade to Class 5. Valentine, the instructor took me on as his student for a week. That shoulder check !!! I didn't really understand the fuss about it until he demonstrated the blind spots. We went over the regulations and 10 hrs of driving. I was able to challenge the road test and succeeded on my 3rd try. I knew all the rules and the reason I failed on the first 2 attempts was because of anxiety-and my examiners noticed that. Valentine is a great instructor and he helped me gain my confidence behind the wheel. I have 3 kids and I drive them to school and daycare, all their pediatric appointments and I do all my groceries and shopping. A few times over the last year I drove on short road trips to Calgary and Banff. I have since deleted my uber account! !
