A cheaper alternative to paying a larger sum at different locations. City Driving School is relatively cheaper, but does not necessarily mean decreased effort put into teaching. The in-class learning was decent since all you were really doing was going over the book again, the teacher, JP was jolly and nice, offering many breaks. The in class I'd probably give a 7/10 rating. The on-road driving portion of the course was amazing, I'd instantly rate 9/10. Mr. Navdeep Chauhan is friendly, and a great teacher as well as being very patient. His teaching techniques are calculative and in-depth. It makes sense, and is very accurate. Overall, very good place to learn to drive.

I found City Driving School while looking for Driving Schools. In this day and age it was really difficult. Most of the driving schools that I was checking out had 5 star reviews, however their reviews are fake. It was really difficult for me to find a Driving School with genuine reviews until I found City Driving School on google. They have genuine reviews. No one referred me to them but I am very happy that I found them. I only needed a Brush-up before my road test and I also rented the vehicle for the road test. It was only 1 hour. And my instructor Navdeep made sure to give me all the infos and tips that he could’ve given me. He’s very professional and very patient. He gave me all the advice necessary to pass the road test. After the brush-up lessons he have me more tips. I passed my road test on the first try. Happy with their services. Thank you.

Literally the worst experience at a drivers school ever. Had an in class teacher who used racial stereotypes and only cared to talk to or answer questions for the white people in our class and treated everyone else poorly. Secondly, they have the worst communication system ever. Their online schedule is not explained properly which I wouldn’t mind had I not been forced to call just to confirm my registration for the class because I received no call (which you’re supposed to get as stated by the woman who answered the phone) to tell me what days to come in and take the classes. I was forced to call again to confirm what day I needed to come in again and after explaining the same situation to the woman who had answered the phone at my initial call I was told to come for my second class. I drove from the north (almost St. Albert area) to their school in the south end for the SAME woman to tell me that’ I did not have drivers training at all that day and that I needed to go and come back next week. She countinued to further belittle me saying she had never spoken to me and I should have called and confirmed. If you want quality lessons and helpful staff I do not recommend going to this place. You really do pay for quality so it’s understandable why their prices are so low.

I had a very good experience with city driving school and had a great instructor David who helped me learn everything I need to know to pass my drivers test, I had little driving experience prior to taking drivers training and I passed my drivers test the first time. Would highly recommend anyone that is looking to take drivers training to go with city driving school.

My suggestion to Immigrant Canadians is that ,don't be overconfident and give the driving test without taking driving class, chances of failing the text are maximum. Taking a license seemed to be impossible for me till I came to know about City driving school. Their instructor is very detailed and taught me every traffic rules efficiently, pointed out my mistakes. At my other driving school, I felt unsafe and the people there were very unprofessional. I was recommended this driving school, and I am thankful that I came here instead(sometime during august 2020). The staff were very considerate with my mom and I. I specifically asked for a female instructor. My instructor was Susan and I recommend her!!!! She is so kind and made me feel safe. She was very helpful and answered any of my questions, and I was able to just vibe with her! She was also very professional and did not go on her phone to talk to other people while I was driving, and she did not use me to basically drive her to do her errands... she was also really encouraging : ) thanks to her I was able to pass my driving test first try!!

I do not recommend this driving school. They were very disrespectful and did not treat me or anyone else good. They made me pay for something I did not do. And would yell at me for no reason at all. It was also not a good learning environment. My class instructor was Navdeep he was very rude and disrespectful and was constantly on his phone! Do not be fooled by the high ratings they try to influence all the kids to give high ratings. I will never recommend anyone to go there.

I just got my class 4 license and I definitely give credit to City driving School. I took the brush up lesson and the instructor took me to all the possible routes where I could be taken by the Summerside registry instructor. He gave me all the instructions to the point to clear the road test and I passed the test on 1st attempt. Very bad experience with city driving school. Staff is not cooperative at all. They don't have records if your file is older than 1.5 yes. I had 2 hr of class remaining and they did not refund me. Unfortunately I had leave the country for personal problem and could not continue my lessons. Many times went to their office on parson road, they are never available. I am rating very low for their service.

I didn’t expect to pass my parallel parkng exams but to my surprise I got it the first time the examiner asked me to do parallel parking, I am very grateful to my instructor who patiently thought me how to do proper parallel parking.

After reading all the reviews I was really skeptical about taking the test here but the reviews are seriously useless. I get nervous really easily but the driving tester vipin helped calm me down and assured me before we started driving. I quickly realized he was only there to help me and had my best intentions in mind and you would be missing out If you took the test elsewhere. I genuinely had an amazing experience 11/10.

I would not recommend this driving school. My instructor was very rude and never explained how to actually drive. He just told me directions. I had to ask him to repeat quite often because he was hard to understand which made him angry. I asked him to teach me to parallel park every session and he only did for the last 20 minutes of my final session. This is a complete waste of money. Even if other places are more money, I would suggest paying more for better quality. This did not help me pass my road test. I hope this helps you as you pick a school. I am normally very understanding and not very critical but this was a terrible experience. The lady I took my road test with told me everyone she gets from this school fails. Best of lucks guys! I had Navdeep and JP as my teachers for the 15 hours in class and it was amazing!!! Nothing close to the poor experiences illustrated by other reviews. For my 10 hours on the road i had David, he seem to be a tough guy but after the second day one gets to realize he's only trying to help make sure you pass your road test on the first attempt. He is an exceptional instructor although a little cocky. Overall, i had a great experience in City Driving School and would recommend it to everyone and anyone who needs some driving lessons..

Really great, if you listen to ALL of the advice and apply it during your driving time you should be able to pass the test in the first shot. They are super patient and are easy to fit into your busy schedule. The in-class sessions are a breeze as well, just be super attentive during the class to pass the test.

My husband insisted that I should enroll here, with hesitation i followed him since he was confident that I would gain sufficient knowledge in driving here (btw, the persistence was because he too took his brush-up lesson here with navdeep as he acqired his class5 from BC before he took the class5-advance exam and passed with just one take!). The classroom course was good which i pressume would be the same input with every other driving school you choose, but i gained more confidence and knowledge during my actual driving lessons with navdeep. The patience, knowledge and encouragement my driving instructor spent and shared with me played a huge role in passing my driving test. It was a stress free experience handing out and trusting them my driving lessons. From classroom to road lessons then road test, it took me less than a month and with pride i passed the driving test and acquire my lisence all because of navdeep's effort and patience. Thank you guys for all the assistance during my road test, it is just sad that we have to part ways after this, but truly, i owe my achievement to city driving school.

The instructors are very helpful and they teach you important lessons and tips! However, I’ve had such a big problem getting paperwork done and communicating with the owners of this place. The process of receiving the news on whether or not I passed the inclass test, booking the road lessons, and getting my certificate for insurance took extra days and many phone calls. I’d have to contact them at least twice to get things done. It was frustrating and you could probably get things done faster some where else. Unfortunate because the instructors were good.

I approached City Driving School for all my licenses (today it was class 4) and boy oh boy they are awesome. Navdeep helped with my driving practice and he did an awesome job with the training and also to make me understand what do I have to do to be a good driver not just for training but also for general driving. I have passed my exam with no deductions in points. The examiner was also surprised and gave me extra credit for this and said that he has not seen such a confident driving ability in amongst all the drivers in the last 5 years atleast. I wish there was an option for terrible. Worst service ever. Take the classes then wait weeks and weeks to get in one session at a time. How do you learn to drive when you can't even get a hold of the instructor. Not only that but the instructor would stop and talk in another language to someone outside a convenience store for over 15 minutes . For over $500.00 it's not worth your money. I'd reccommend AMA for a more proffesional experience. Also, I believe a few of the reviews were created by people who work for City Driving. As I'm a fair person and quite understanding when mistakes happen and there is no way I'd give even a fair review at this point. I'm just happy that most people are honest when writing a review.

My Instructor was Navneet and I was very pleased with how professionally he conducted his classes. Navneet made sure I knew the basics of car mechanism and was patient with going over all the rules in details. The times were flexible and all my mistakes were pointed out for further improvements.

The driving test examiner actually told me excellent driving and that i deserved a license. This is all thanks to City driving school. I took their 15 hour online class and 10 hour on road training. I would recommend the 15 hour online classroom only to busy individuals. Rest pleasr go to the weekend classroom since that will be more interactive. The online classroom was super informative and honestly at times boring. But hold on to the info, a lot of things were very new to me. The 10 hour driving with the instructor is were things get real and is honestly worth every penny. The instructor was courteous and friendly and at the same time very strict on me developing good driving habits. This is what helped me pass the advanced class 5 test. The money you pay is worth every penny. Go for it.

Prior too enrolling with city diving school I had minimal experience driving and was very nervous too begin. My instructor was polite and helped me gain comfort in my driving abilities. At first I was very discouraged and at one point wanted too give up driving but my instructor motivated me and helped me improve and ultimately gain confidence in myself so I could pass my road test, without the help of my instructor at city driving school I don't think I would have been able too obtain my class 5 certification and for that I am very greatful and recommend enrolling with them!

After completing and passing my road test today I can safely say that taking this driving course is was well worth it. Taking the first part of the course online was a great way to do the sections when I had the time and I could go back and complete and review the sections as I pleased. The practical aspect of the course is an absolute must before taking your final road test. My instructor was calm, kind, easy to understand and was very helpful in instructing me on how to applying the rules of the road. A minor inconvenience that I had was when I tried to arrange a driving instructor to instruct me. After completing my online course I called in to schedule a date to start the practical section but did not get a result until the 4th phone call to them. In the end I got an amazing instructor and a lot more knowledge about driving then I had before. Well worth the wait.
