I had brush-up hours with Sam (on this driving school) and he was very professional. He taught me the proper way to negotiate turns, parking tricks, road signs and traffic lights. He does not yell at students. This is the best driving school in Calgary for new starts, students, and any one who wants to obtain a driver's license. After 6 hrs of brushing-up, I immediately went for a road test and I passed the Class 5.

It was very easy to hook up my daughter with Canadian Professional Driving School. As soon as I paid the fees Elizabeth from the school contacted me and set up a schedule for my daughter. My daughter also received an email for the online classes part of the course. My daughter said that Elizabeth is a great person and she enjoyed all the driving sessions she had with her. I highly recommend this driving school, whether you're a first time driver or someone who just needs some brush up before your road test. I passed my road test on my first try all thanks to my great instructor Elizabeth. They also offer online classes and that works really well if you are working or you're just trying to observe social distancing. If you want to pass your road test or reduce your insurance cost, enroll in their program and come with a learning attitude. I was able to apply everything that Elizabeth taught me during my road test and it worked. They're not magicians if that's what you're after. They cannot assure you a passing mark for your road test (I don't even think there's a driving school that can actually legally do that for you haha) but they will make sure to polish your driving skills and prepare you for your road test. Most importantly, they do know their craft and they can surely turn a novice driver into a responsible and professional one.

Canadian Professional Driving School was very reasonably priced compared to other driving schools in Calgary. Trust me, I did a lot of research and ended up them! Once my online course was done, I had Navpreet as my instructor and she was very patient and extremely friendly. She answered all my questions and gave lots of good tips especially when it came to mastering parallel parking! It was very easy to book with her and she was very flexible to schedule my driving sessions according to my work / family life. Thanx a lot, Nav.

In my opinion this is the best driving school in Calgary. They have brand new 2015 Honda civics which help with smooth driving and parallel parking. They teach you how to drive safe and not give poor shortcuts like other schools. I took 10 hours road driving and 15 hours online and I passed easily on my first try. Their online classroom is also very convienient but you can do in class too. Sanjiv was my instructor and he was always on time and his schedule was very flexible. I feel really safe on the road now and have learned more than I could imagined. His prices are very fair compared to others and if you want to learn properly there's no point of even looking at the price. They have an office in green plaza which is also very convenient. All the previous reviews on here are true after experiencing this school. Overall, I am happy to have chosen this driving school and I recommend it to everyone.

HI I got 5B licence in my 1st attempt of driving test. Mr. Sanjiv teaches really well. he also gives every necessary tiny but really helpful skills while driving. His aim is drive with safety. His methods of teaching are so simple and unique so you will easily learn parking n driving. He accommodates students on their convenient time. While driving if you make mistake he will tell you right away, I think this is the best part of his teaching so you can know at which point you make mistake. On 1st meeting on driving practise he will recognize your weak zones of driving and he will improve that weak zones until you will not perfect. It was okay but I feel like Beth didn't provide feedback unless asked. She expected me to know what to do without having taught me first, only telling me what I did wrong after I had done it. I feel that with a different instructor at a different driving school I would have been ready for my road test after lessons. I had to ask lots of questions regarding details of the test as she left out a lot of details. I feel that we spent too much time driving around aimlessly rather than practicing things that I needed to improve on...things I only found out needed improvement after I asked her.

I basically never had any idea on how to drive cars. I was first enrolled in other driving school and I stopped in my first 2 classes because I can feel not gaining enough knowledge in driving and I had the worst time management experienced with them. Until I enrolled in Canadianprofessionaldriving and met Nav as my instructor! First class she made me feel comfortable with her, then she shared her knowledge she possess about cars basic parts. She was very kind of giving tons of tips and knowledge in road rules and and in driving. Patience of her I valued the most that she never gave up until i got the best driving I could have until I had my first shot in driving test and I unexpectedly passed it! Great experience with this driving school. My instructor’s name was Elizabeth and she was amazing and very patient! Going in to this with no experience in driving at all, she was able to teach me everything I needed to know for safe driving in just 5 classes! She won’t make you feel bad if you make mistakes instead she corrects you right away until you get the hang of it! She’s also very fun and won’t make you feel nervous! This is the best driving school in Alberta, they have Great instructors that are well trained and have a lot of experience. As long as you have a learning attitude you will learn a lot of knowledge from them. They have very reliable cars to use for the driving training and for the road test. Sanjiv is extremely patient with his students and knows how to get someone confident behind wheels. He starts with the basics and then moves to the advance maneuvers unlike some instructors that will make you drive through the highway in your first class. I had taken 10 hours of classes from derek brown initially and learnt nothing. Today i passed my first road test on first try.

Waste of time and money. Poor communication to book lessons and stick to the schedule. Not realiable nor punctual. The lessons certainly were a total failure in supporting my needs to get a license. I was told I was driving super well and had no reasons to be concerned. Just choose a professional school instead of this one After posting this review I received a very unfriendly voice message from the company. Things like "you are not in your country..." and "we are not picking up people by air, we use the roads..." were used as arguments. Seriously??

Very inconsiderate, often block the residential road I live on because the student is practising parallel park. Try to get by, they then drive off ahead of you, and go around corners on wrong side of the road. I have never seen such a bad company, wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There are other companies that are much better in NE Calgary.

Very professional in approach, I was very impressed with Canadian Professional Driving School. I took 10 hours of training for brushing up my driving skills. The school is operated by Sanjiv and the commitment from the school is apparent from the fact that he sometimes himself gives instructions. He is patient and provides many useful tips to also work on areas of your driving to ensure you are ready. I only did 2 hours for brush up lessons for my advanced test and passed my road test 1st time. Not sure how they removed my previous review, so i'll repost it... Terrible experience, most UN"professional" experience i have had in a long time. Right from the start, i paid through paypal, attempted to contact them several times through the website, no response. Finally ended up phoning to figure how how this thing even works.... then the classroom time was only available on a long weekend in the summer... of course we cant make that, so we did the online. once that was done we had to chase them again to figure out the next steps... was told they couldn't do the driving time for at least 2 weeks. so i complained to the owner and they "found" another instructor that could do it in a more reasonable timeframe... tons of issues with her as well, was told to meet at a train station, instead of meeting at the drop off location she parks in the back end of the lot, seems to me it'd be common sense to park up front where the person would liekly be getting off the bus/train... then during the course the "instructor" was on her phone half the time, watching youtube and making calls and texts not providing any degree of "instruction" it as just basically driving time, she even had her son picked up and dropped off during the course one day, and on our 3rd session she was over an hour late and her and the owner gave a variety of conflicting excuses as to why this happened, if we are late its a $60 fee, if course wasting an hour of our time was not compensated... just told they'd "make up" the driving time.... that doesnt give me back my hour. Then at the end we were told we'd get the insurance certificate within a week, 3 weeks later i had to contact them to find out where it was, they didn't even check to make sure everything was in line for it to happen and some minor clerical error held it up... something you'd think they would have looked for and verified before assuring us the certificate would arrive soon

Highly recommend signing up for their classes! Sanjiv is an incredible instructor who really cares about his students, which is something that is rarely seen these days. He really helped me to develop the confidence and skills I needed to drive safely and independently. I chose this driving school because of the review and boy do I regret this. I paid for 15 hours in class and 10 hour in car lessons November 9 2018. I was told my in class would start Nov 21, I only heard from an instructor Nov 25 after calling and texting several times. when my in car classes were not getting cancelled, they were good. teacher has good techniques to help you drive. now that my classes are over and I am waiting for my certificate of completion I am being jerked around. I was told I would receive it last week. nothing. I was told I would receive it on Tuesday nothing. I was told Wednesday morning. I have been texting and calling since 12:00pm. no answer, no call back. I call the office talk to another lady who says she doesn't know when I will get a certificate, that she can try to get it done some time this week or next week. wow.

Went to this school for my basic driving training and then I also did my advanced driving training. The teachers and staff are very knowledgable and they teach you your real like driving on the road and not short cuts to pass the tests. They have new cars for training and if you'd like to use the school car for the roast test, they will arrange the road test for you too, which is very convenient so you don't have to go and book by yourself and this saves lots of time. I went to this driving school a few months back in April and let me tell you it was NOT the most helpful, eyeopening experience ever. The instructor looks for every opportunity to grapple for money from every chance he gets despite having a set cost in the beginning, he'll overcharge again and again. He continues to boost about how he's the safest and best driver ever and claims that you're not concentrating hard enough on the road when he points to houses and such and goes "Look how weird it is." i did not like how he pointed out all my mistakes, but lacked to offer any real solution. He did manage to improve my hand but I feel as if I would've gotten to the same place with more dedicated practice. He also served as a reminder on some of things that I was unable to recall. I'm 22 and I had gotten my learners when I was 20. Overall, I would not recommend this place to a friend or family. Perhaps try a different instructor, the female ones, for I have heard wondrous things about them from a lot of my friends!

San is great teacher. I did a 2 hour brush up before my exam. His instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Their car is in very good condition, smooth to drive and latest model. He explains very well why we have to do certain driving skills and what could happen if we don't do it which makes it easier to remember when you understand why you are doing what you supposed to do when you are on the road. These guys have professional in their name but are anything but. The woman who came to give a lesson to my son couldn't find our house (she went NE instead of NW) and kept blaming it on her GPS. When she finally arrived she did an illegal u-turn right in front of us while blocking other cars on the street! When I expressed concern to her she reacted with anger and and hostility instead of being apologetic. Definitely don't book with these guys!

I had a few brush ups with Sanjiv and I passed my road test today! He was referred to me by a very satisfied, now certified driver such as myself. My experience with him was great! He's very professional and patient. No intimidation or condescendence, very down to earth. His number one concern would be the safety of the driver. His fees aren't as high compared to other schools i've gone to(pactically almost 50% off). He will be honest with you if he feels like you're ready for the test. And so I did my usual Google research for way too many weeks, I decided to come to Canadian Professional to get my license action on. I signed up and got my evaluation lesson, and then decided to go ahead and buy a lesson package. I took all of my 10 hours lessons with Mr.Sajiv (Recommended to any New Driver), who was completely honest and realistic in his approach. I passed my road test after my 10 hours lessons and I couldn't be more happy with my decision to come to Canadian Professional. I'll probably be back for highway lessons later on.

If you wants to learn to become a safe and well trained driver I would encourage you to go to this driving school. The instructors are very friendly and they have multiple years of experience. I did not know anything about driving when I came to this school, but due to the way I was taught I passsed on the very first try. At first I used to be scared to drive but now I pick up the keys without any hesitation. Learning the right way to drive can make the road safer you and others as well. I took a brush up lesson for this winter and the instructor was exellent. He taught me a lot of things that are super helpful and you can tell that he's not just teaching you the short cuts as other driving school would do. Highly recommended and the price is affordable as well.

First I would like to say the instructor is good but there consistently late. This driving school doesn't make an effort to give you the link to the online course right of way. Lastly if you change your mind and go elsewhere after paying. There is a cancelation fee of $63 before they reimbursed your money.

I recommend Canadian Professional Driving for all new drivers in Canada. Beth, my teacher is nice and patient. She will make sure that you will pass the driving test on your first take. She taught me all things that I need to remember during the exam that's why I pass the first take. :')
