Absolutely fantastic for taking driving lessons. NAVEEN SUBBA was an amazing instructor. He is understanding, punctual, polite, and knew exactly what he was talking about. He clearly explained your mistakes and provided guidance. Because of his lessons I passed my road test first time. My experience at All Above Safety Driving has been a positive one. The instructors were clear on the directions they gave and the registration process to get me enrolled was also a simple process. Sarah was very lenient when it came to scheduling and rescheduling which allowed me to easily integrate my lessons into my timetable. I had pretty much zero driving experience prior to starting my classes with Sara, and was a bit nervous about going on the road. beginning the driving lessons, I had absolutely no previous experience operating a vehicle of any kind. I was lucky to get IQBAL as my in-car lesson instructor. She was very kind and patient with me right from the get go and never made me feel uneasy. She made an effort to get to know me, which made my experience in the car very comfortable - I really appreciated the small gesture. With a little bit of hard work and determination on my part, I was able to pass the advanced road test on my first try - all to IQBAL And Paul sir guidance! Overall good experience. I found this school from google search and took their classes for basic driving lesson on road. I had to take a total of 12 classes ( 24 hours) and I passed road test in my second attempt. I could not take all the classes consecutively though and could not practice much at home; which might have contributed behind needing more classes. But, classes are expensive! I did 11 classes with Navin, a very very friendly, polite and professional guy. I really liked his teaching method, he is compassionate, punctual and very patient. That’s why after doing the few classes with Navin, I asked for him for all my classes. I also rented his car to do the test. I wish him great success and good health! A great teacher indeed! Sara, who managed the scheduling and payment , is also a good lady. She managed all my class bookings and found exam dates according to my preference. If she could not receive my call; she always called back. I did not have much face to face communication with her. Only one of my class was with a lady ( named Iqbal or something; not sure). Her teaching style was really bad. She was yelling at me for a simple mistake at the very beginning; too rude. I felt like I paid to get insulted! what a waste! It might be her teaching style; but I was not happy about that. In the first few classes I had to go to their office to fill up evaluation form for each session; which felt like a waste of time ( as it takes ~ 20 min out of the the 2 hr lesson). However, later Navin used to bring the form with him; which saved time for more practice on road. Overall the school is good, with good professional conduct. I would definitely recommend it.

If you want to learn driving in just few hours then this is the best place to go to. Mr Navin is one of the best instructors and he thought me so wonderfully that I qualified my driving test in first trial and the examiner said that too without any mistake. There are hundreds of driving schools in the NE- go to those instead of these. She made me feel so unsafe. The entire ride she was talking on the phone, not helping me on the road, and grabbing the wheel as I was driving. I nearly got into an accident because she grabbed the wheel as I was driving to make me turn left. She also treated me like her personal Uber, making me drive her to her house to vomit, then to her friends house to get food, then to a store. I wasted 105 dollars on feeling unsafe for an entire hour- don't make the same mistake as me! Go to a reputable driving school that doesn't make you drive them to their house to empty their stomach. Also, keep in mind that many of the positive reviews on this business are fake and done by bots.

Very professional driving school you can trust. Book a brush up for my class 5 advanced road test with them, Kiran was my instructor. She went through step by step of the advanced road test. They have other coach as well which is performing the highest standards in teaching the driving skills. They always very busy during winter season as lots students learning for licenses. I really recommend this school and I suggest you listen to them and let them correct all your past errors. Go with an open mind as they really want you to pass your tests. On more than one occasion I've seen their cars driving slowly in the passing lane (not passing cars) for well over 3km prior to having to use the lane to turn left. I would never use or recommend a driving school that teaches this, or has instructors driving as such. It makes me question their overall abilities and knowledge.

I did my driving lessons with Naveen, my girlfriend also did the lessons with him a month earlier and she spoke highly. Naveen is a great teacher and there is not a single thing he could do better, 100% perfect at his job. Although, Sara is extremely un professional and really needs to improve at her job, or be replaced. She never answers her text's, (Naveen says to text her so its not like she doesn't need to answer) she rarely answers her calls and when she does she is very fast to hang up. Almost every-time I spoke to her she would never clarify if the time was booked. I would say the day and time and she would hang up, so i don't know if I got that spot or maybe a tornado hit her. Naveen is an amazing teacher but Sara is holding the school back from being the best, I would recommend to all, but maybe just text Naveen directly to book the lessons.

I highly recommend this driving school. Although I'm not a brand new driver, I am very nervous during driving tests. And there are many different rules here as compared to my home country. My instructor, Paul (I call him Mr Paul because he is just simply gallant) taught in a way that was stress free and easy to understand. I didn't have the confidence to pass but he said I would. And I did! And I can finally execute a perfect parallel parking. Thank you Mr Paul.

I'm looking for a driving school that suitable on my budget and yes they are the cheapest driving school in the Calgary. And my other colleagues told me that this school were good. Unfortunately, I was disappointed you know why? Here’s the following: 1. Before you signed the CONTRACT, please READ it, because they will not tell you that your registration will only last for 6 months. And if you did not complete after that, you will pay them again. 2. Expect that you will have different instructor because this is based on instructor’s availability not YOU as their customer. 3. Instructor was always LATE, reason because they do not know your address unless they contacted you. And once you’re done in your session they will bring you back same time as the agreed appointment but they were not accumulate your time that needs to be 2 hours per session. 4. Make sure you PASS their driving session. It must be 75 higher if not you will not get any CERTIFICATION / less insurance. They let you pay MORE, there’s no consideration. Cheapest price & cheapest service, do not let your eyes blind to their beautiful comments here…

It was an awesome experience with " Above All Safety Driving School". They give 10 hours practical classes and 16 hours theory classes. In Theory, they explain every single thing related to driving, which is a very good thing for a beginner like me. Then after they conduct a test after passing that you can get a certificate which will help reducing your insurance. In practical , the instructors teach you in a very good way and try to make you comfortable, which is really important to learn driving. Overall, I had a great experience with them. Paid $601 for rude instructors. Worst decision I’ve ever made!! DON’T do it, they’ll waste your paid training time by taking you to sign papers which is true with the other 1 star reviews. If you make a mistake you’ll get yelled at! They make you feel like a fool with the “you CAN’T do it” mentality. Some teachers hey? Garbage. Going elsewhere with instructors with actual teaching skills.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews. Instructors were great, but they didn’t come on time which was very inconvenient at times. Dealing with the owner was hard, constantly had to keep texting or calling to get an answer and no sense of respect when she speaks to you. Day of my road test I almost got disqualified because they had an issue with the hand break light showing up. Only good thing about this place was my instructor and the way she taught and how supportive she was before my road test.

I failed my Advanced driving test because of Sarah. I took 1 lesson specifically for this and she told me I don't need to shoulder check when turning left and I am already in left most lane, similarly turning right and I am in right most lane. Also she told me the test route will be 100% this, it turned out completely wrong. The test was 100% on different route. I got few other points but 35 out of 75 points I got due to failed shoulder check. When I called her after, she talked to me like she doesn't care. Weird that they have been teaching driving for so many years. Sarah saw me at the registry accidentally and she literally ran out of registry hiding. She doesn't even feel sorry or clarify. Weird they have many good reviews, probably fake. FYI Sarah, I passed the test very next day with only 10 points. Fortunately, there was cancellation and I rebooked immediately.

Teachers don’t teach well, very rude! After 4/5 classes you still feel like you have stuff to learn! I took this course a few years ago and my instructor did not want to do the last driving class because it was getting close to winter and the road were getting a little bad (which wouldn’t you wanna teach people to drive in snow?) She said call back for your last class in summer and unfortunately I forgot and called today asking if they still had my file and the women told me no! (Also very rude even though I was just clarifying what she was saying). She said if I wanted to do 1 driving class it would be $120 and if I wanted the 30% off insurance I would need to do everything again even though I completed everything! It is my fault that I forgot to rebook but if you are spending $400 on driving school a proper run business would give you a heads up call before just throwing out your file! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! There are plenty of non rip off places in Calgary!

The instructors were all incredible. I passed my test on my first try. They were all extremely patient and when I would take a class if I said I wasn't feeling confident parallel parking, with my turns or with hill parking they would make it a point to set aside time during that class for me to practice. I didn't always have the same instructor, over 5 classes I had 3 different teachers which I found really helpful because each one had a different style of teaching, sometimes a different perspective helps. I'm really happy with the service I recieved.

Every single service required for accurate and safe learning for driving is available. I was supposed to appear for advanced driving test, but after keen observation on my driving style they have suggested me to go for GDL now. I like true suggestions also. I am still in shock about how unprofessional she was. I won't tell just tell you, i'll show you what the instructor did during our 2 hour brush-up course. 1. She took me to her house, which was nowhere near the Savanna registry so she could puke because the food ANOTHER STUDENT DRIVER took her to buy was spoiled. 2. She spent 1 of the 2 hours speaking on the phone to either clients or friends. During that time, when giving me directions, she would point instead of tell me where to go. When I asked for clarification, she ignored me 3. When she was on the phone and giving me hand signal instructions, I didn't notice she wanted me to turn left. When I passed the staggered line to change lanes she yelled at me to change lanes. I made an illegal lane change and missed the solid green light. She then blamed me for not going. 4. We visited her relatives in Skyview (very far from the Savanna registry) to pick up more dinner from her relative. Notice her food poisoning has gone... 5. When we were going home, I wanted to go back to my house. She said we couldn't because she needed to pick up her next customer at another location. I had no drive back, and the walk would have been 2 hour to get home. I had to ask her multiple times and she barely accepted it. 6. I asked for a receipt after paying tax and the $100 fee, she didn't give one to me. I won't tell you what to do, but that was what my experience was. As a tip for other drivers, read the critical reviews when taking a driving test in the NE, because I bet my hat all the 5 star reviews are not from WILLING clients. (I've also heard rumors (not verified) that you have to leave a 5 star review to get your insurance reduction certificate, but whatever.)

The instructors were very informative and knowledgeable in their field of profession, and I had a very stress-free experience with them. The classroom portion of the basic plan was also informative; however, the material was covered at a slower pace than what was expected, with frequent, typically elongated breaks in between each subject. Overall, the people were professional and courteous and I passed the road exam on my first try. I would recommend to friends and family.

My experience with this driving school was excellent throughout both my in class lessons and road lessons. The 15 hours of in class teaching went by extremely quickly and I learned a lot thanks to Sarah's interactive teaching style. It was also extremely helpful that she was always available when I would call about either booking another lesson or to simply as a question.
