Had to come here to get rid of some demerits thanks to the lovely Edmonton "Big Ticket Event". I'd rather give my money here than to the insurance company. The course was surprisingly knowledgeable and fun to attend, exceeding my expectations for such things. I would come back here again once, if needed in the future, to clear out more demerits.

I did not enjoy my experience with abc driving school. My instructor was very unprofessional making stops to run errands during my lessons and and was extreamly difficult to book lessons often forgetting to book me in or trying to book me in on days that i had said multiple times when i was busy. He also had tonail clippings on the floor if his car which is an unhygenic and unprofessional. On top of that I fail my test because my instructor left me un prepared on tasks i had asked for exta practice on.

Hmm I could say a lot about this driving school but I'll try and sum it up, Mr.Gurpreet I would like to thank him first and foremost, if you are scared at driving or new and need guidance with a calm understanding teacher go here, it truly was a pleasure learning here and I feel more confident in my driving, there are things that only you can fix but most of it will fix itself through practice which is what Mr.Gurpreet does, there are topics which he sees while you are driving and will explain them with a diagram explaining all the rules, he will always ask you before you drive and after you drive if you have any questions and you can ask him as you go along, you can also message him if you have any questions. He teaches many tips and tricks for when you drive as well which will help greatly for when you take the test. All in all if you want a driving instructor someone to polish your driving or help you get started in learning how to drive this is the place to go.

Gaurav sir taught me how to drive a car. He was very professional and taught me going to my mental level since I was scared to drive a car. Before taking training from him I failed my test twice but after taking classes from him I cleared my test in a single go.

I was a student of Surinder (Sam) Saxena in 2004 - 2005. There are three things I did not like: - He made me stop outside his house where he went inside for 10 - 15 minutes while I waited outside. - He made me stop outside an apartment near the Bonnie Doon traffic circle where he went inside for about 30 minutes while I waited outside. - On numerous occasions, he fell asleep while I was driving. Based on my experience, I will not recommend ABC Defensive Driving School to anyone. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is because the "classroom" instruction was quite good.

I had a really good experience with this driving school. My instructor was GG and he is very knowledgeable of the road rules and safe driving practices for Canada. He always answered all my questions and explained until I understood even if it included making sketches on a sheet to ensure I that I was clear. I have driving experience in the Caribbean where we drive on the other side of the road like the British but my driving instructor GG really really helped me to understand how driving works in Canada. I would strongly recommend this school for people who are moving to Canada and are not familiar with the regulations and safety road practices here. So I was able to pass the advanced road test on my first try. And also for new drivers, it would definitely be worth your time to learn how to drive the proper way before going out onto the road. I always say the road is no joke especially after losing family members to car accidents. I would highly recommend that new drivers contact this school to be trained the proper way to be safe on the road.

Mr. Gurpreet is an AMAZING instructor! I passed my test on the first try. He taught me great techniques on how to curb side, reverse, parallel and front park. He is very calm when driving. I was driving down Calgary trail today and noticed one of your car in the left hand lane doing about 8 km below the speed limit. Being almost rush hourm, no need to say that a number of cars were impatiently waiting behind. Once stopped at a red light, I saw the driver instructor talking on his cell phone. ... I'm wondering what kind of training your instructors have and why they are not respecting the distracted driver' law while being behind the wheel.

I appeared for my class 5 road test today and just breezed through it. I really appreciate the efforts of my instructor Mr GAURAV, who made me aware of such tips and tricks which made me feel confident like anything. THANK YOU SIR. I already knew driving as I drove on Indian roads for a decade, but the traffic scenario, and rules and regulations in both the countries are way apart. I was quite confused sometimes while making the "right of way" decisions while approaching various intersections, which were absolutely cleared by the instructor. All in all, he's a splendid guy, really patient with students and completely down to earth. I wish him success in future and be prepared Mr Gaurav, a lot of students will flow in, as I am going to recommend you to all of those who want to get the license ASAP...

Thankfully I have not had the misfortune of using the services of this organization. My experience with them came yesterday when my wife and I happened to get trapped ( due to traffic flow) behind one of their instructors on 91 Street coming out of Costco. The posted speed limit at that point is 70 kmh. We got trapped behind him because he was going 45 kmh and when we finally had the chance to get past him we looked over and noticed that he was also talking on his cell phone. Not only should this person not be teaching others how to drive but he needs to have his license taken away until he takes some driving lessons himself. I have a daughter who will be taking driving lessons herself and I know 1 company that certainly will not be getting our business. .
