Taran is really an awesome instructor she will work on the things that you need to work on during the training. My instructor was Raj Mangat. It was a good experience learning with her. Good things about her: 1) she made me enough prepared for the test 2) she had a lot of patience and diligence 3) soft-spoken and friendly Things I didn't like about her: 1) She was a bit messy about scheduling. She often changed the schedule and that too even as late as 30 mins before the training. 2) She often finished instructing 10 or 15 minutes before my scheduled time and one day she was late by 10 minutes with no explanation or compensation. 3) Most often she did not pick me up from my home and I had to travel to the south side even though I had been told that I would be picked up from my home.

I can't say enough good things about this school. My instructor was Rana, a very genuine and kind person. I had very very little experience or practice driving prior to taking lessons, he was very patient and physically draws out scenarios in his note pad on how to correctly go about doing maneuvers such as left and right turns, parking etc. I highly recommend this school!

Inaam my driving instructor in Edmonton is one of the best instructors I’ve ever worked with. She was very professional and her instructions on following road signs and obeying speed limits was delivered clearly and with care. The training vehicles are also clean and very well maintained. Instructions on how to do parallel parking, up hill and down hill parking was also delivered brilliantly and I felt better at it with every try. I recommend using 5 Star Driving School because where else can you get a test result with just 10 point deduction in winter?

I started taking lessons with Rana with zero driving experience! At the end of my lesson, I was really confident in driving and passed the road test in first try. I only accumulated 20 point (where above 75 is fail) and the examiner repeated multiple times that I was a very good driver. All these credit goes to Rana, he was super helpful, friendly and patient in teaching me all the crucial mistakes I was making and made me as perfect driver as possible. Rana has really good tricks to teach proper judgement quickly in different driving situations. As I said I started with zero experience and had Rana as my only instructor, so I don't have good reference point to compare with anyone else or even any other driving schools. However I can tell one thing for sure, if I have to take lessons again, I wouldn't think twice to have 5stardriving school for my training. Thank you!

Worst driving school I seen around. I was driving and see one of their cars in the road teaching a new driver and the student had the high beams on. Is this what we are really teaching the next generation of driving? It’s pretty obvious to teach someone what lights on the dash means. Blue means highbeams

This is my whole experience please, read it carefully .it might be helpful. -Rana, didn't try to extend his hours to get more money he gives what you really really need. -he got back pain before my test, he didn't let me down and came to my lessons. -He adapted to my tight schedule and always on time. -The matter in driving to work in your own mistakes. That's exactly what carefully Rana has done it with me. -Until the last hour training or even last minute before my test, still Rana has a lot to give and teach. -I have tried one time ( city school ),Absolutely worthless so slow not efficient enough , the only thing it was useful from them, that once I found Rana, I realized how Rana is professional, accurate, eye on details, very very patient and respected person. Excellent driving school with a very humble staff and professional service. I had a four years of driving experience in India but the plethora of traffic rules in Canada could make you dizzy while driving. Although I appreciate the rules it was hard for me to cope up traffic systems in a completely different country. However, Rajwinder (instructor appointed by 5star driving school) a brilliant tutor helped me learn some valuable driving skills not just for the sake of passing the test but to drive safely. She has some incredible tricks up her sleeve which will make you judgement and observation skills better but also give you the confidence to drive within the bounds of traffic laws.
