It saddens me that today was my last day with Doctor Brock tompkins due to the office staff. I have been with Doctor tompkins for 8 years, what happened to the old staff? Since about 3 plus years ago Doctor tompkins himself know I lives further away and knew because we loved him as a Doctor when we moved we still drove 2 hours for any appointments with him. However there has been a few time hes instructed me that if something doesn't heal he'd send me to a specialist in my area. My sons umbilical cored didn't heal properly, it needed to be nitro'd, I call the office to have Penny be incredibly rude and tell me thats not how they do things, I said please ask tompkins, sure enough he sent the request because she was wrong. Now fastfoward to sept of this year 3 years later, I had mentioned my husband has a license to grow- could he do the paperwork, he said absolutely bring it here, I sent it in Sept.15, our renewal was for the end of Nov. RENEWAL- its already been prescribed by a cannabis nurse practitioner the year prior, so I send it in.... in December we still hadn't received the renewed license, we email the staff to ask for the date it was sent in to be told "oh sorry he hadn't looked at it". "You know because of Covid". So then was told did i even look at what I sent in, it wasn't the form for him, my mistake, so I sent in the correct form, which he filled out incorrectly, so it was sent back, we are now almost FEB my husband is without medication (not opioids) MARIJUANA. The secretary claims we need to now go back to whomever did it before because now he doesnt want to fill out the renewal. We are upset, disappointed and upset that our family doctors staff has now several times dropped the ball and then try to make it out like we are an issue. We today stopped all services with Doctor Tompkins due to this. Sincerely 5 patients gone!
