Honestly the doctors and nurses are fantastic here. It’s the reception, in one day trying to re-call the clinic I’ve only gotten the busy tone and I’ve tried 10 separate times... the online booking has not generated me a user name or password so I can’t access that either, booking is absolutely ridiculous. So now let’s say it’s recommended to see a health care practitioner right away for my symptoms, yet you try and it’s impossible to get through. Either need an email or more reception because this is ridiculous, going to a walk-in clinic for now because the concern needs to be addressed shouldn’t have to do that if I have an established family doctor... but here we are.

Been a patient here for 12 years. I moved away from Surrey 4 years ago but remain a patient and just commute when I have urgent and important medical needs. It's a great privilege to be a patient here. There are many doctors here I think. Location is a plus too. You can simply scoot down a few blocks and walk the beach.

I've been going to this practice since about 1991, and never had an issue until recently! (Issue is with the office/appointments, NOT with my doctor.) I've been trying to make an appointment for three weeks now — every time I call, I wait over 10 minutes on default hold and eventually have to hang up because I work during office hours. I've tried calling three times in one day, same thing every time. Today someone picked up and started talking after 6 minutes, then quickly put me back on hold without explanation after I said 'hello', then after another 5 minutes the line picked up, loud dialling sounds happened repeatedly while I again said 'hello', then my call was dropped. When I try to call back, it now says the customer I'm calling cannot be reached. I get that there's now online booking but if you don't have a password you need a human to help — this is ridiculous. There's often a wait of 2+ weeks to see the doctor, but I can't even get on the list! I'd give my doctor a 5 star review, but since I will probably never see her again due to the human and technical barriers between GPs and patients, I leave these 2 sad stars.

Willing to assist with questions. Parking is free. Good selection of Doctors. They are sometimes late meeting the appointment time. Staff is friendly.

Dr. Veldhuis is so professional and caring with her patients and she is always willing to help you find a solution to your health issues. Thanks a lot! ????????

My doctor is Dr. Veldhuis and she has been my physician for MANY years. She is absolutely wonderful...very professional and intuitive as well as attentive and compassionate. I feel confident in her care and knowledge. Only issue I have is with one receptionist who is often very curt and combative with my queries. This has never in the past been a problem..always found them very caring and accommodating but after several encounters with this particular one thought I should say something.
