The staff here are really patient and approachable. I notice that this clinic often gets busy which I believe is a positive thing because a lot of people trust the doctors and team here. I am also thankful to Dr. Purewal for taking time to really listen to clients’ concerns and explain treatments that’s why I understand why she gets past her timing sometimes. As patients, we need to be patient as well. ????

First off, I will say the doctors are great. They are nice, attentive to your issues and respond in a polite and professional manner. My reason for 2 stars is the other staff, specifically front desk workers and helpers. I was at a very low point in life, and when I say low, I mean very, very low. The doctor I saw immediately could see I was in distress and, was going through options with me to help. I at the time did not know the difference between a psychologist and psychiatrist and asked her to explain the difference, she nicely explained what each does and how they can respectively help. After, she walked out to write a prescription and a note for my work, I could hear, clear as day, the receptionists talking and laughing about my lack of knowledge on the subject. I was in a bad mental state, and for them to openly (probably didn't think i could hear) insult me for now knowing something so seemingly simple, I was about ready to burst out with anger and tears. Hit my lowest, looked for help, only to be insulted because i was not educated in that field. Doc gets 5 stars, receptionists get a straight 0.

I have found the best doctor I’ve ever known at this clinic! Dr. Sharghi is so kind, caring and intelligent. She really tries to solve problems, and has superb bedside manners. She’s helped me and my partner so much in the last year of seeing her. If you are lucky enough to have her as a doctor, you’ll immediately notice her emotional intelligence too. She makes me smile ????

I’m very happy with the medical care provided by Dr. Purewal, however I’m very unhappy with the customer service provided by the front- and back-end staff. The staff, especially the ones working in the back of the clinic, are rude and unfriendly. As evidenced by the other reviews, I’m not the first one to have noted this. This really ought to be addressed and fixed.

Dr. Scott and the staff at Ocean Walk are unfailingly courteous, professional, and attentive. Dr. Scott's experience and knowledge gets him to the crux of the problem quickly as well as the solution. I appreciate Dr. Scott's gentle manner and taking the time to listen intently despite how busy the Clinic can sometimes get. I now live in Vancouver but Dr. Scott and the excellent staff make it worth the commute.

Often refused by overcrowding for reasons, and told to line up early before opening the door, and can’t make an appointment? That is, it does not have to be in a few points. Dr. Najafi is an absolute sweetheart!! She is such an amazing and caring person. She has great knowledge of everything and could be trusted with anything. She has been my family doctor for around 4 years now and i am honestly so amazed with her work and kindness. 11/10 I would recommend.

Very disappointed & frustrated! I was turned away from the walk-in service. I showed up at 1040am. The receptionist told me that the walk-in is 845-10am and so she told me to come back at 1pm or another day. I find this interesting because on the website the walk-in time is 9-11am & 2-4pm. Therefore they should either talk the walk in or update your website to reflect the actual walk-in times.

Doctor Scott how can I even begin. This man has become a part of my family now. He has always been a caring doctor who listens to you and tries to give you the best result for whatever you are going through. Hes attentive and knows what he's doing. I'm grateful to know when I get sick I can go see a doctor who puts his patients first and helps them get back to healthy in the quickest and safest way.

I would say Dr Robert scott is one of the best doctors ,he saved my fathers life by his right diagnosis , after trill examination he sent him for PSA check and made an urgent referral to oncologist and ordered bone scan right after his elevated PSA results came back , he is an amazing doctor, real expert,He doesn,t waste time . whole family grateful to him .

The most unbelievably rude man answered a phone call from a family member of a 97 year old patient requesting to speak to their doctor about some concerns. The phone call ended up in the man who answered the phone verbally abusing a patients family member and then hanging up. If I could give less than 0 stars I would. To think this is the care and service patients and their families are receiving, I would suggest this practise, or at least receptionist needs some serious customer service training. Absolutely disgraceful.

Visited a couple months ago. If you're actually a walk-in patient, you will be lucky to wait in line just to get one minute of doctor's time. I had enough to explain maybe half of my newly developed symptoms. I got prescription painkillers which helped, but it certainly didn't leave me with much confidence that the doctor actually heard, let alone cared about my issue as I was left with "come back it if doesn't improve, bye".

Went to this walk-in clinic on Sunday morning because it was the nearest from home... One hour waiting for 5mins consultation!! The doctor was careless, didn’t listen at my symptoms and gave inappropriate prescriptions. How come the doctor doesn’t even do a basic auscultation?! Maybe it is too much asking in Canada and my European standards are too high?! FIRST AND LAST TIME IN THIS CLINIC. The front desk staff was OK though.

Would give 0 stars if I could. dr zahara sharghi gourabi was very unprofessional and constantly asked my parent "do you know how many times you have asked me this" when my mother (first generation Asian immigrant who speaks limited English), was asking for a simple pressure check. Never encountered such behaviour from a doctor in my life and honestly just told her off after the 5th time of her being like this. After that she said I had "sinusitis" and needed antibiotics so she prescribed amoxi/clav 875 mg when I DID NOT need it!!! We went to another doctor after (even though we bought the antibiotics anyways) and the other doctor said it's just a flu, and in a few days she was right. No more issues. Idiot doctor fire her at once.

The Receptionist, Holly is extremely rude and disrespectful. I called twice to change my appointment, after she couldn’t find my appointment the first time I called back the second time because I realized it could be under another name. Before I even asked my question, she recognized my voice and said “you just called. I already told you! You don’t have an appointment!” I am shocked by her attitude she has towards a patient. She even said she didn’t want to talk to me when i asked her to apologize. It’s extremely rude. I have no idea why she still has her job. What a joke. Ocean walk medical clinic should do something about this. All the negative comments below mine is also targeting the receptionist. I am sure they meant Holly. Hope you can find your life Holly! : )

They need to fire the front desk staff here they make the entire office look bad having such ignorant and rude people who obviously don’t care about the integrity of the office or have any respect for the doctors that employ them.
