Dr Barre is exceptionally kind, thorough and caring. The support staff at Ambleside are also very efficient and pleasant to deal with. I feel as though they do go out of their way to make my life easier. Much appreciated.

Although I do respect and trust our family doctor, the punctuality of the clinic is a huge drawback. Patients will be charged $40 if they are late, but if they have to wait for half an hour for their appointment, there’s no problem! I think the clinic needs to reconsider the way they give appointments to patients so that the doctor would not have to rush the appointment and behave as if he does not have time for his patient. Overall, I was not very happy with my experience here.

I dread coming here anytime I need the doctor. Dr Ramji only saw me once for a consultation before taking her maternity leave so I’ve seen all the other doctors here so now she’s back and I’m not allowed to go to any of the other doctors here, never mind that she is only here 2 days a week and it’s always on days I work. They don’t care if you can’t make the appointment. They only care if you see the same doctor. The doctors are always behind schedule and make me late for work ever single time but they never let me schedule for days I have off. This clinic is terrible if you have anything else going on in your life besides going to the doctor.

The most stressful and Un compassionate staff. Wouldn’t see myself or newborn baby for an emergency and sent us to a walk in clinic. My family has been going here for 30+ years and has gone utterly downhill. Rude, very rushed and overall a horrible experience since my baby was born.

Dr. Jessica Palmer has been wonderful to my wife and I, extremely caring and thorough. We have also found the staff there actually really nice which has been a change from other clinics we went to. We were happy to make this our family clinic and Dr. Palmer our family doctor. People who have had bad experiences may have trouble with the protocol at Ambleside. Works great for us!

I've been a patient here since 2006 when their clinic used to be on the 2nd floor of the building. Every time I have an appointment, I usually wait for an hour or so. It's so hard to plan another appointment like Physio or dental coz you never know what time you'll be called in. Just today, I've been calling their clinic and been on standby for 45 mins just for a prescription refill. SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Very easy to get a timely appointment. Doctors are usually on time for appointments which is super refreshing! Staff is always pleasant and efficient.

My wife and I have been patients since 2005. We are so lucky. Dr. Maryam and her team are unbeatable - professional, caring, and accommodating. And most of all - curing.

The quality of care is good but the punctuality is terrible. Expect to wait up to one hour on a regular basis, even if you have an appointment. The staff are over-worked and do not respect other people's time. They think they're the only ones with busy lives. Being a bit late is understandable and even expected, but being regularly very overdue is just a lack of respect.

I am fortunate enough to have Dr.Holowenko as my GP. I have chronic health issues and she is on top of referring me to specialists to get support and having her staff call for follow-up appointments to discuss results etc. I have had 5 GPs in my adult life (I'm in my 40s) and she is one of the best. The staff are busy and efficient. When I have called for an emergency visit, they squeezed me in. I always try to keep my appointments to one or two issues max to be conscientious of the Dr's time - I understand that they can only bill for so much time (15 mins per visit, I think) and I also don't want to cause Dr.H to run late for my fellow patients. A friend recommended this clinic to me and I would recommend it to others.

Dr. Jessica Palmer is like an angel on earth but very smart as well. She is kind, caring and very professional and took the extra steps to ensure that my care was of the best quality with great solutions in a complex situation. Her follow up is excellent and keeps up to date on file progress. The staff at the clinic is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My thanks to all for a good experience in hard times.

Shocked by the walk-in style of the family doctor I went to here. Might as well have just gone to a walk-in clinic. 10 rushed minutes of problem solving and the doctor runs out the door. Don't go here if you have any serious medical issues that need resolving. I am left angry and frustrated with none of my problems resolved or addressed in a satisfactory manner. I am not the only person who has experienced dissatisfaction with the service provided from the ignorant doctors at this clinic.
