This Doctor is classified in the category of Walk-in clinic.
She miss understood my diagnosis and left the room so quickly before I could even say anything
The Dr. is very inexperienced and not enough knowledge. I have a slight pain in my left lower abdomen and worried about ovary cyst and endometriosis.(Since I am a vet and have some knowledge of medical problems) I told her my symptoms but she didn’t palpate my abdomen at all and told me to have a urinalysis. The result was grey zone of bladder inflammation and she prescribed antibiotics. However the symptom didn’t go away and I went back to there and insisted that I might have problems with my ovary and uterus. She finally sent me to the lab and the results were exactly what I was thinking. So basically she misdiagnosed. The problem with this Dr. is that she is inexperienced, unknowledgeable, lack of care toward her patients. I’m a vet and I have never treated my patients/owners like that. I can’t recommend this clinic to nobody at all!
It should not take 2 months to see a specialist and the doctors won't give me any assurance or timeline or the number of the person I need to see to get checked out. Got an appointment right away back home in Toronto.
I went today and the place is pretty empty since it's so new, but lucky for me there was no wait. The doctor is nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
I'm giving 1 star for the location, clean office and short wait time. The doctor is inconsiderate and doesn't care to offer relevant info about what you're going through. It's not like it's ever packed either so if she wanted to offer extra info she def could have instead of making me feel rushed. I know cause I live on the same street. I've been dismissed just to find out months later I had something. She said she can treat it, while didn't bother letting me know the treatment doesn't get rid of the illness permanently. She should seriously reconsider being a doctor cause she's honestly so insensitive.
Pleasant experience with my walk-in visit. The front Staff were busy but were friendly and understanding. The wait time for my turn was like any other walk in clinic (1-2 hrs), depending on how many patients are signed in for the day. The doctor listened to my health concern and gave me treatment options that was best covered by my health insurance.Having a pharmacy by the clinic was very handy as it saved me time and fuel. Definately would recommend this clinic.
Dr. Kumari was unprofessional, rude and impatient. Similar to other patients the minute she entered the room she was ready to leave to meet the next patient. She wrote me a prescription in less than 2 minutes of seeing me and the odds of misprespcribing me are high. Don't go here.
Awesome clinic, awesome doctor! Their registration for the phone visits is simple and fast! Highly recommended! Cheers!
I was refused medical attention was treated as an inconvenience was told there procedure room was not operational. The staff does not seem to be qualified. The medical office is located on the first floor of a student housing high rise on a street that is consistently under construction. No parking available. Overall disappointed.
The doctor is very kind and helpful. My wait time has always been short and the receptionist is extremely pleasant and sweet. Since my family doctor is in another town I was worried I wouldn't receive quality care but this place is a next best. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good walk in. You can trust their services.
Always had very short wait time. I've been treated very kindly by all the staff. The doctors are kind and efficient. Probably the best walk in I've ever been too
The female doctor here is sadistic I genuinely believe she enjoys watching people be in pain, do not go to this clinic, she will laugh about your illness and tell you to go to a hospital rather than helping you herself, she can’t handle even the most basic parts of her job.
Amazing doctor and very short wait.
I needed to get prescription for travel medication and the service here was very fast. The people here are very nice too, they answered all my questions and gave me helpful advice.
Wait time is less than other walkin clinics.
Worst clinic ever. I came from a third world country and they have better clinics. Doctor didn’t even ask me my problem. I was at max 15-20 seconds with her, before i had to leave. They don’t even care about patients.
The pharmacy has been excellent, especially Sam, at delivering first rate service and recommending the best course of medication. Would definitely recommend this pharmacy!
Nice staff and doctors ...they are fast
No show on phone visit
I have gone here twice now for my daughter's vaccines and the staff and doctor are fantastic!! I can't wait for her to start her family practice! I'm looking forward to continuing her caring for my daughter and I! Construction is a bit if a hassle but not really all that big a deal! 10 thumbs up from this momma!!!
Excellent experience. I mostly get lucky and get Dr. Kumari on shift. She is amazing; to the point, didn’t waste her time or my time. I explained what I was looking for, she discussed the pros and cons and that is it, I was in and out. I really have no idea what these people are complaining about. What else could you ask from a walk in clinic. Other clinics I have been to take forever to see you. They make you line up hours before the doctor shows up, and stop accepting patients hours before they close. There are other doctors working at the clinic too, they are very nice, but wait times seem a bit longer when Dr. Kumari is not working. The clinic is not doomy gloomy, it is beautifully bright and clean. Oh, if you need to get things off your chest, go get a haircut!
Quick and wonderful service
They gave me somebody else's prescription. I was the only person at the walk-in. Doc still took 10 mins. And after 8-12 seconds was convinced she knew what the issue was. Never checked my vitals (heart rate, BP, ears) anything. What a joke
For a walk-in clinic this place is seriously impressive. It's a beautiful new building so it feels more like a spa when you walk in the door. Hardly any wait, the receptionist was very nice, and the doctor very professional and thorough.
Great location, short wait, clean office and great doctor.
She was very quick I knew what i had because my sister is a doctor but she didn't spend 3 min she prescribe antibiotics but the one she wrote is only sold at the pharmacy in the same place I had to wait the next day for my pharmacist to talk to her office to change and I'm getting worse
Worst clinic ever. Incompetent staff, poor management. Wish I could ZERO star the entire team. They want you to book an appointment via there app “VirtualCare” and when you try booking an appointment via app they ll ask you to make a call instead. When you make a call they will ask you by a pre recorded message to book an appointment via app. The entire process drive you nuts! They will never pick your call, no matter how urgent is your medical condition. They lack doctors. Pity, the female doctor accepts family patients only once a week. Frustrating. BS.
SO fast. My first time coming here just before 5PM. In and out in 30 minutes. I used to go to a Kitchener one and I would wait an hour or more.
Yet another terrible walk-in clinic experience in the KW region, this time they charged $20 for a physio prescription note that is covered by OHIP. Avoid this place, not worth the time savings.
Dr. Kumari is an excellent and caring doctor and her staff is excellent as well.
It is fast and reliable especially for students in the area.
The doctor is so impatient and couldn’t even let me finish speaking. She prescribed me with a 150$ nose spray that’s not included in my drug plan and in my next visit told me another 20$ spray is “basically the same”. I understand that you are a doctor and all but can you at least treat your struggling patient with a little patience and respect. P. S. I went in today for eye discomfort and she didn’t even look at my eye. I think that’s enough said.
The wait time is usually very long. About 2 hours to get seen by a doctor in my experiences
Since moving here to Ontario this is the first Clinic that has any openings for new patients. They are really clean tidy their well-mannered and they make sure to take care of all situations. The next time we need to go to a clinic we will be back there.
Walked in because my infant daughter wasn't feeling well. No wait, quick diagnosis and doctor was very kind and professional.
I have been here and trust me they are the best. Very responsive and expert for medical work.
The place is very clean and I didn't have to wait for long. Having said that, I did not find the staff friendly at all, except for the guy in the pharmacy. The female doctor barely let me speak, and the whole consultation lasted less than 5 mins. Not impressed.
Beautiful modern office, friendly receptionist allowed us to wait inside instead of in the cold just before they opened. For Waterloo residents the location is handy near King and University. One other bonus is the hours of operation on weekends so it opens before the clinic on Lancaster.
Short wait times and friendly staff
Extremely unprofessional clinic. The doctor I spoke with for a phone appointment was beyond rude and insensitive - no one answers the phone or checks voicemail. I was able to get what I needed at a different clinic in the area in less than an hour with much kinder and more professional staff. Do not go here.
If there are at least two people ahead of you in the queue, chances are you're gonna spend at least two hours at the reception and another one hour inside the consultation room for the doctor to show up. They don't even give you an ETA for the doctor. Don't get manipulated by seeing one or two people waiting at the reception, there are three or more patients waiting in the consultation rooms to be attended. Horrible Service.
My visit was relatively quick and efficient.
Ruled out other options and then referred to a specialist. The doctor listened to my concerned and consulted me for where I wanted to be referred. I am very happy with the service I received!!!
Good experience. Doctor is very frank and to the point, very nice, well dressed and professional. Hardly any wait at the clinic; clinic was new and well lit, nice to see a non dungeon looking clinic. Highly recommended.
Ok
This is what my experience is... First of all, the people who want to contact the clinic, go to their website, you can send them a secure message. They are very quick at responding. If you haven't called them lately, their telephone menu was updated and is very informative. I have been seeing Dr. Kumari since the day this clinic opened. She is an excellent* doctor. This clinic is off the hook; compared to the day they opened, guess it took them a while to smooth things out! The clinic is beautiful and very well lit. I don't see many clinics offering the services they offer. Their walk-in times are nothing compared to other clinics in the area. They offer online appointments for their family practice patients. They have this virtual care thing, you can chat / phone call with the doc, I think that is also only for their family practice patients. I read some people complaining about the wait times, and then the doctor didn't spend enough time with them in the same review.... didn't make sense to me. I am not sure what people expect from a walk-in clinic; this is not counselling. Every time I go see her, I don't feel rushed at all. *Though it took me a visit or two to understand her a little bit. She is to the point, lol, don't quote your internet self diagnosis to her!!! If you have a problem, tell her, she is a good listener.
Fast service. I needed a prescription and the whole process took me around 15-20min which is awesome. The pharmacist really tried to help me save as much money as possible.
I come to this clinic every now and then, always a good experience. They surely have gotten busier since they opened, but their wait times are still very good. The doctor is quick and thorough. They should start doing blood work too on site. :)
Dr. Calvin Johnston was very good, the wait time was not. Got to the clinic just after 12pm and wasn't seen until 330 unfortunately.
Short wait time
I had a cough for few days and I needed medical help. Although I got tested negative, they deny to let me in and refuse to provide medical assistance. I believe it is a crime to reject medical help to sick people, therefore avoid this place.
Basically waited for good two hours so that a nurse can tell me that she can't do anything gets at the moment. The waiting time did not bother me but the fact that what they call a doctor is a nurse. Looks nice but honestly not worth the wait. $15 waisted on a taxi.
Went in and was not feeling well at all and was told to “ride it out” and that medication was “Unnecessary” afterwards went to my normal walk-in and was treated much better and given proper care Overall this clinic is pretty slow and not effective :(
Doctor is pretty nice
Great walk-in clinic! Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly and helpful!
Very quick doctor didn't really look into my problem that well
It is a bad experience booking with this clinic. I received no call for a scheduled appointment! Emails are bouncing and voice messages are ending up in dark tunnel. I am never getting another appointment here ever.
I felt like a chicken in meat processing plant. Just a number, merely 3 minute diagnosis for concussion pains, and no receipt for cash payment doctor's note. I don't even wanna start on the wording of the note.
Pleasant experience! The doctor was very detail oriented, fully understand why there was a wait. Staff was busy, but friendly! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Ridiculous wait times. Doctors are late, slow, and rude. Staff aren't helpful and also rude. I have been here multiple times and each time is a worst experience than the last.If you are able to go anywhere else, do so. Absolutely would not recommend. I would give it a zero if I could.
Great receptionist and very friendly staff! Everything is clean and modern. Wait times are short and doctors know what they're doing. So much more better than the Walk in at UW Plaza. 100% would recommend!
I had a fantastic experience here in a pinch and was well taken care of considering the scope of the practice - don't let the whiny students taint your perception of a decent business. I saw their actions and they are difficult to deal with to say the least.
They Don’t pick up the phone. They ask you to be there early, make you wait outside in the cold, and still they were late by 15 minutes to call you in. Couldn’t find public parking around. A nurse brings you to the doctors room. Another nurse walks in without introducing herself, types on a computer, when she grabs the tools you realise she is the doctor. Does her job and leaves without instructions for you. Nurse handles the rest. They are unable to send the sample to the lab, so you have to do it yourself.
This clinic is absolutely terrible. They ask you to book a phone visit for anything they could have completed easily in person. And they do nothing in the phone visit but to confirm your in person appointment. Then they don’t give you your referral at the in person visit, instead they ask you to book another phone visit to get the referral. This could have been done easily in one appointment but they purposely make it three. Avoid this place if you can!
Mixed feelings. Been coming here for a while. The doctors and pharmacist are quite friendly, but the actual office doesn't communicate very well. The front desk is hard to deal with. Dr. Kumari also is a bit rude and doesn’t have time for you.
Good option for univ students and people who have been very frustrated from waterloo walk in on univ ave the worse service from them this could be a good option for any one near by. Doc was nice and no waiting. Ample parking on street as well.
Very fast. Waiting time is less than 15 mins
It's not been so long since this has opened. Service is quick. The place itself is very new and clean.
Says they open at 9am on weekend. Waiting outside with 6 other people, not open.
Bad bad bad, waited more than 3 hours and the Service was very unprofessional while I was so sick.
It was my first time at the clinic today. I got there right before closing time. The doctor was leaving for the day when I got there. Dr. Kumari was kind enough to come back in to see me. Only reason I am writing this review. Thank you.
I would give zero stars if I could. The first thing you smell when you walk in is perfume. To a person with a scent allergy such as myself, this was enough to make me want to leave. However, as I couldnt travel to a different clinic, I stayed. The receptionists wouldn't take my info, and they instead point to a tablet where you have to input everything yourself, while ignoring you and chatting in a different language. The pharmacy is small, looks very out of date, and the boxes look old and dusty. The waiting room is minuscule, and the individual rooms are cramped and outdated. I could look beyond all of that, but the service doesnt even warrant half a star. The doctor didnt check anything, just told me to fill a release of information form at the front and ushered me out of the room. The receptionists didnt know what the form was, kept ignoring me, and when I finally snapped and demanded attention, they shoved the form at me with no explanation of what to do with it. I will NOT be coming back to this clinic. I'd rather go all the way to brampton than go back here.
Best service I have ever received at a walk in clinic, I was able to see a doctor and get my prescription within 5 mins, with no wait time
New clinic. Wait time is less. Staffs are excellent!
Excellent service and short wait times. The best part is how convenient & close it is from Kings Court Residence and from other apartments nearby.
It was busy, so the wait time was about an hour and a half, which, for a minor health issue, I figure, is about what I'd've waited had I gone all the way to the emergency room at the hospital to be looked at. The check-up didn't take long once I did see a doctor, and the prescription was pretty quick to come to the front. I liked that the doctor gave additional steps in case things didn't improve, and I'd have to come back.
Dr. Kumari (available during the week) is fantastic. She knows what she’s doing and isn’t afraid to provide the best solution. The doctor present on Saturdays, Dr. Abounaser is absolutely pathetic. Lacking communication skills to offer sound advice or respond to critical questions. Is invasive and far too comfortable with his words. Would not recommend the Saturday doc. Creepy bloke.
The doctor was a little shady, but the pharmacist was off the charts. He tried to fix all our problems involving our insurance plan, called multiple clinics we visited in order to pull up the right files. He also recommended us alternative cheaper methods to fix our issues. Will be back.
I went early one afternoon to see this doctor. I'd woken up with a high temperature and tonsils swollen, chills etc. I didn't go to work and went to see the doctor at this new place that was under construction. The older lady in the front was so pleasant, really enjoyed her customer service. They only accepted cash that day cause I wanted a doctor's note. I got called in to the room about 20 mins later (I was the only one there) after waiting a short time to my surprise is was the young lady who had been outside leaning on the dusty wall laughing and carrying on hysterically with a friend. I figured she maybe was learning at the clinic and was on a break but nope it was the full on doctor. Still I gave the benefit of the doubt. She walked in, did not introduce herself, I said hi doc and proceeded to explain my symptoms....her phone went off and so as I'm talking she's texting, no eye contact, no professionalism. After I was done she wrote up a note saying patient said she didn't feel well. She never checked me, when I asked aren't you going to check my Temp etc? This very young inexperienced lady said you look and sound fine and she walked out the door to make a phone call which I heard her laughing as I was leaving. She clearly wasn't focused on work that day. I was extremely livid ???? I returned to the front and withdrew our names from the list of her being our family doctor. She's lazy, inexperienced, walks around dragging her feet....just not very professional at all, I will tell anyone to never ever go there. Terrible terrible doctor, where I come from my mother has worked in the health field for years and so this kind of service really shocked me. The only thing nice was the new building and the receptionist. I went to a different clinic the same day right after and that doctor diagnosed me with tonsillitis. It sucked. Never take your family to Spruce.
Good experience, in and out quickly. It's a new place, so it's fresh and clean.
I came here for vaccinations, and Dr. Abouanaser was very friendly and knowledgeable, and knew exactly which vaccines I needed to take. He quickly prescribed them, and the pharmacist Sam Patel was extremely friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable. The receptionist/nurse is also very friendly, and very patient with customers. When Dr. A gave me a vaccine, he was extremely gentle and I barely felt it! Overall I had a very pleasant experience and would go back again.
Doctor should be reported
Excellent and quick service, Doctor very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great clinic, friendly doctor and speedy service.
This is my fourth time in to get my medical results, there is always a crazy lineup and they refuse to give your results without seeing the doctor! I’ve checked in and waited 4 times and have still been unable to see the doctor due to long wait times. There’s a crowd in the lobby and we’re all just waiting and there is no doctor here! Honestly this is a last resort if you are sick and dying. - after getting my results I won’t be returning to Spruce Medical
My family and I have been going to this walk-in clinic for a year already and I have nothing but praises for the staff and doctors of Spruce Medical. The doctors are very cheerful and they take time to listen to your concerns. They are definitely experts and evaluate your condition with care. Referrals have never been a problem as their staff are competent and communication has never been a problem.
The medication prescribed by the doctor for a cold is useless.
Waited 40 min for a four minutes appointment. The doctor was not good at all, she barely looked at me.
My wife had appointment over call at this clinic multiple times and each time the receptionist call well before time like 2-3 hours earlier and leave no voice message. Today it was worst they called twice before appointment and because my wife was at work she could not pick and at the time of appointment they didn't called nor did they call after that time. She tried to call but simply no response. Very unprofessional and pathetic service.
If I could give 0 I will because dr is extremely rude and unprofessional, she is so inpatient can’t tell u , I been there 3 times and all the time she is only concerned for there chairs and table. If even kid touch there chair , she talk extremely badly like she doesn’t care it’s 2-3 year kid or a old person . 2ndly she is in so much rush , she doesn’t even listens u atall ,3rd she talk extremely rudely if u ask any question. We recently moved in this town and for as a dr. Vandana kumari she is v bad, my old dr. Madhu Gupta Was very nice ,very kids friendly and extremely patient . I never ever recommend any one for dr kumari. Last and not least I wait for 1hr 30 min without any reason there was only 2 patient before me when I came to c dr. There was 5 people came after me and I was in room no 4 keep waiting dr never came so I went to ask reception she was like she will come wnvr she will be free but the Truth was they forgot about me and they was covering unnecessarily and I told them that’s bad because it’s been an 1hr and more she was rude and said to dr and dr came in the room and was so rudely she shouted at me like u can’t say anything to receptionist and I said I didn’t even say a-word I just ask her and she was actually rude . She was like no u can’t bla bla if u wanna come then it’s fine otherwise, and she is not a professional trust me. If a person doesn’t know how to even talk with kids then imagine. No dr. Does that . My kids was so familiar and friendly with her old dr. But with her they even doesn’t feel comfortable because she doesn’t even talk nicely , she doesn’t even say any hi or hello , no smile even smile is so far she is in so rush she doesn’t even listens u , what u actually want to say. I don’t need This kinda dr.
horrible wait always
Waited 30 minutes...nobody was ahead of me. Unprofessional doctor who does not perform an accurate check up. Not sure how she got her license.
No wait times; staff were friendly and considerate
Terrible service
Great doctor. Have been there twice and all was perfect.
Just a really immature staff. They were really disrespectful and had a passive aggressive attitude issue. Made an account to review something for first time in life because they were so bad
Short wait and very knowledgeable and friendly staff
Awesome experience. Very close to both universities and perfect hours. The doctor and staff are really nice and friendly. Would recommend everyone to go here.
The older indian lady receptionist is completely useless. Tells you to sit down and wait before taking your information, then proceeds to let people who came after you into rooms. If I hadn't said something I would've sat there all day like an idiot. She doesn't follow her own protocols for registering patients, so what hope does anyone have. I am not ok with embarrassing myself and having debates with other patients about who came first, that is the receptionists job to keep track of.
Doctor did not listen to my issues, lost my job due to misdiagnosis of issues and my illness continued even after the prescribed medicine ran out. Listen to your patients and take more time to look into their issues. Can tell its very much a "get them in and out" operation there. That was a month ago, still sick, saw a family doctor over call and got me a proper diagnosis and next steps in a 30 min call. With proper medication part of my symptoms have been alleviated, still have more to go through. Would avoid this place if you can.
Dangerously unprofessional. They literally skipped the appointment completely. No cancellation, no contact, no answering the phone, no email notice of cancellation. If you value your health or the health of the people you love, then never visit this clinic. Look at how many negative reviews they have…
I have gone here three times in the past few months for pain on my left side. Each time I have gone I have witnessed the front staff being belegerent to patients with concerns. The doctors are in such a rush they cannot be bothered to ask questions relating to the issue or do any kind of examination without being pushed. All my visits have been less than 3 minutes long. Exam rooms have been dirty with over flowing trash cans and unknown fluids on the walls. Will not go here again.
I would have given a zero if I could. Dr. Kumari doesn't care. The second she walked in the cell she tried to escape. I was called in to receive my lab results. She didn't bother to print out the results for me, instead she asked me to call the lab. The lab later suggested me to get the results from the doctor. When I requested her to help interpret the results she doesn't want to help at all. There are clearly items marked "HI" or "LO" than normal, but she only said these don't matter. She didn't bother to tell me remaining results are on the way until I asked. I am calling to find a new doctor.
Lines are usually really long. Once you walk in, the receptionist does not greet you and sometimes shes not even there since she is also the nurse. However, they do have an tablet for you to sign in. I've been here twice and the two different doctors I have spoken to are very unprofessional and inexperienced. I came here was with a clearly evident sinus infection. The doctor I spoke to told me that it was "just a cold", even though I told her I had a horrible headache for the past 3 days. I have had sinus infections in the past and knew this was definitely one. She talked to me for maybe 5 minutes and said the pain was all psychological and left without prescribing me with any medication. The next day I went to another doctor and they quickly prescribed me with antibiotics and a nasal spray. Update: Came here on a Sunday at 9am (they are open 9-1pm) to get a refill on a prescription and there was already a line formed outside. We were not let in until 9:05am (alarms were going off) and the front desk did not arrive until 9:10am. Doctors were not present until pass 9:30am. If you need medical attention, please go to a different clinic. This is place is clearly just a convenient place for students to get doctor's notes.
Zero Stars if I could. Worst experience compared to ANY other clinic. Waited 3+ hours to get 'interviewed' by the nurse to then wait anther 30 minutes to take a procedure that lasted 10 minutes MAX, and ultimately be rushed out with no regard, the only difference being my waste of an entire day. don't waste your time here. No time of day for people.Horrible Service. Even when yet to be overcrowded in the waiting room, they take their time and stroll as if they have all the time in their day to work. Not to mention they are extremely unprofessional, Unsanitary and overall should be shut down. Garbage bags with caution signs of medical instruments were overflowing and miscellaneous items scattered around the bins.
The doctor was nice. You can use University Health Insurance Plan, you no longer need to pay $60 to see doctor. The location is excellent, few mins walk from Laurier.
I went there Sunday with symptoms of dizziness, Fever, Cough, vomiting , sore throat. The receptionist who is also the nurse never checked my temperature. I was told to wait then I was called in a room. The nurse came again took my information manger by giving me her back. Doctor walks in, I tell her my symptoms and she gives me med against vomiting, she did not check my throat or temperature at all. I also tell her that I feel congested and she gives me those annoyed sigh and asked me to take my coat off so that she can check. It wad all clear she said. I went back home and suffered for 1 more whole day. On Tuesday, my hubby had to take me like a baby to see another doctor. This one discovered strep throat and gave me antibiotics rightaway. The doctor at Spruce is not only unprofessional, but also not knowledgeable. Am never going back there and do not recommended anyone going there.
Great quick service and very friendly staff!
Awful, horrible. They say they offer an online service, but with no details nor contact. Then, you can the clinic and it's a record and nobody contacts you. I need a prescription because my medicine is over and no answer. No care of the patients nor the people. I do not recommend this clinic nor the services.
excellent people
Good for basic things like cold and flu, vaccines etc. However not good for any chronic or complex medical issues. Doctor seems too busy to spend proper time assessing her patients (only see her 5 -10 mins) . In addition family patients can only make appointments once a week when the clinic is open 7 days. If you want a place to go to for quick doctors notes that's fine but don't come here expecting them to solve a more serious issue.
Waited 10 minutes then the doc saw me and got me some Rx ???????? helpful advice and attentative doctor
Poor service !! Zero star They say it will take 30 mins but took about 2 hours. Not at all recommended. First and last time to visit here !
First time going and was shocked with the lack of privacy and irregular charges that other local walk in clinics do not charge. They have a tablet, which you have to put all your information in (DOB, Reason for visit, health card number, etc.). This tablet is on the reception desk (which is almost 4ft tall), it has a big screen, so over half of the waiting room can read it (I sat over 8 ft away and could clearly see, especially when I used my phone camera). In addition to that, it demands that you provide an email address to move forward with the form, which is highly insecure, especially if you have kids/family members who can access your email. It is crazy to see a health care facility in Canada run like this.
Doctor is very knowledgeable, although blunt and to-the-point. Very quick wait time and diagnosis.
Clinic opened at 9am and the doctor didnt show up until 10am. Waited for a whole hour unknowingly when i could have been at another clinic with an actual doctor present. Absolutely unacceptable.
The waiting room was empty when I got there, so was in and out quickly. The receptionist was very nice. They have a sign at the front desk that if you need a doctor's note it's cash only, $20. Despite nobody else even being there, the doctor seemed very rushed.
Be prepared to waste your whole day waiting, even if you had an appointment booked. They only allow to book via phone. 20 min after the scheduled time, they call ask you to come in-person. So you can have a more enjoyable waiting.
I was here today waited for 3 hrs and even then doctor was not able to see me . Worst walk I have ever been to and the staff is not cooperative at all.
Great experience at the walk-in here. Doctor listened to my symptoms and seemed genuinely concerned. Did not feel rushed out at all.
- walked in the front desk wasn’t the greatest.. - doctor rushed the check up... it was no help - but I didnt wait long!
worst kind of service you can imagine.
I would give zero to Dr Salaheddin if I could. He judged me after he reviewed my medical history and embarrassed me by providing me with some terribly inappropriate advice. He probably should retake medical ethical course to learn how to respect patient with a different religion.
Super quick service and very helpful.
Clinic was clean, not a long wait to see the doctor and the doctor was competent.
Un-professional to customers request such as requesting refer. or document. Do not listen to customers opinion seriously. Tried to hang up while I was speaking. Unkind doctor.
Unable to make an appointment with my doctor through the online portal provided for family practice. Anytime I’ve gone in to explain I’m unable to make an appointment or call in to make an appointment (as their automated system just goes through a bunch of options ultimately putting you on hold to speak to someone, just to be told their busy and to call back later) there’s no solution or guidance as to how i’d solve the issue. Was signed up as part of the family practice from when they first opened, yet for about a year I wasn’t registered properly and had to explain that every single time I came in. After finally questioning why it’s such a hassle to have this organized and me registered properly, I was sent a link that was suppose to make things easier for booking etc. It didn’t. Last two times I’ve walked in to see someone, as a result of not being able to make an appointment online, I’ve had to wait a couple hours. Insanely frustrating for someone who is a patient of the family practice. What’s the point if I can’t make appointments or be seen as if I wasn’t at a walk in clinic. Doctors are amazing however and helpful.
They're pretty great. No wait, friendly. Just wish it wasn't cash only.
Its been more than a week, I have been asking my own Xray report to be sent to me via email, but the clinic has made its new rule to earn money for printing reports to the patients. The newly appointed manager is finding all the way to trouble the patients who do not wish to pay the money for printing their reports so that they opt for paying next time rather than asking reports via email. And he is not bothered to return the various calls made by the patient. Earlier they used to print the reports at reception without any consent form, now he is been waiting for the consent form from my doctor, who is also available in the same location.
Would give zero if I could. 2:30 hour wait
Avoid.
This place was garbage. They make you wait ourside in a blizzard and make you call to go inside. Even then you are lucky to get seen. Very unprofessional. No parking. 0 stars
This place is just horrible. I went there around 2pm one day to get antibiotics and there was only 3 people in the clinic and I waited over an hour to see someone and when I went to go look at what was taking so long I could not find any staff around except the pharmacist and when I asked where everyone had gone he did not know and had to go find them. He found out that they all decided to take lunch at the same time. When I finally got to see the doctor she was very rude to me and when I told her what was going on she prescribed me the exact antibiotic that I knew didn't work and I needed a higher dosage and when I asked her to please give me the one I needed she refused (because she thinks she's right and knows everything) and now I have to go to another walk in clinic the next day because I am still in so much pain. She also left the room before I was able to ask her anything. I highly recommend to never come to this clinic. WORST DOCTOR AND WALK IN CLINIC.
Very nice staff, got me in quickly and efficiently. I would recommend going early to avoid wait times- I was there at about 9AM.
Horrible experience, bad clinic, don’t go! Waited for 1 hour, everyone else come after us has been called and they just don’t care how long u have been waiting!
Literally never, ever answer the phone when they are supposed to be open. Phone line ALWAYS says "we are currently closed" even when they are not.
Not much wait, polite front desk, and a pretty good doctor
Waited 2 hours to be seen for <1 minute by Dr.Kumari, Vandana, who did not even make eye contact with me during our short interaction, and prescribed me something for stomach and abdominal cramping when I asked for something to help my panic attacks.
Avoid this place!!!! No one picks up their phone. No email address is provided for communication. They only use a so called “secure web form” to communicate with you, which is a one way and one time thing. You cannot reply to their messages on this web form or provide documents. Just go somewhere else and save yourself some time.
Hours are awful, no point in being open at all if you're gonna refuse patients like 2 hours before closing, especially if you close at 3pm on Thursday.
Wait time is reasonable and staff are very friendly.
Amazing service, treated me well (jokes)
Very nice modern office with a nice waiting room. Reception was friendly and helpful. Went around 11:30 a.m. and had a short wait time, and was seen quickly. The doctor is extremely friendly.
Would not help with general info over the phone
Very kind doctor. She doesn't smile often, I think it is because she is focused. The clinic is very good location wise. It is also very clean, sanitary and modern. The wait time is very quick. The longest I have ever waited is 10 minutes. The doctor is very quick and professional. The staff is also very professional and nice. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
This medical facility is terrible. The doctors do not care about any walk in patient. I was treated with the least amount of respect and none of my problems were taken care of. I was not listened too and in less than 10 minutes, my license was taken away with no reason whatsoever for over 4 months with no treatment offered. Do not trust the doctors here.
Most embarrassing, wait one and half without seeing the doctor
Professional, didn't have to wait long, and straightforward to the point Doctor. It's a new clinic, so the wait isn't as long as all the other walk-ins around the area.
I took my 10 year old daughter there on the weekend. The doctor on call recommended that an ultra sound be done. We then received an email the next day, stating that there was important information. So I went to the clinic after and spoke with the receptionist, she said I had to bring my daughter in to get the results. My daughter is 10 years old and a minor, still the office would not release any information about her results to me. I was allowed to sign a release form without my daughter present, but the clinic would not tell me the ultrasound results. They have no idea what they did, and they were very un-professional about the whole situation. Also there is no one on one when trying to call the office. Apparently the only way to contact them is through the website.
Service from doctor itself is fine but the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I was told there was 11 people in front of me, then someone who was told they had 15 in front of them was called first. Totally arbitrary it seems.
Doctors are all very good but wait times can be hours
Amazing place... All the doctors here are amazing... Specially Dr. Kumari she is a gem... The care and the diagnosis is amazing and the best part of her is she listens to you and comforts you... the staff is also very helpful including the pharmacist... Highly recommended place
Zero stars!!!!!!!!. This is the worst clinic i have ever been to in my life They pit me in a room and they literally forgot about having a freaking patience waiting for the doc in the room!!
Reception is the worst here. They don't answer the phones nor will they pass on refill requests, questions etc to the doctor. Wait times are also pretty long. I can't comment on the doctors - they seem average
Almost no waiting time
horrible experience. Dr Kumari was rude, short, didn’t give me the time of day. She looked at my throat for maybe 0.2 seconds and then shoved me out of the office as fast as she could. Didn’t give me any time to ask any questions and cut me off when I was speaking. However the man at the pharmacy was extremely helpful and understanding of this when I told him so shout-out to him (only reason I gave an extra star)
Good:Friendly staff and doctor, less waiting time, can get appointments easily. Bad: Could be more clean (specially washroom)
