She always tweeks me enough to make me look great without looking overdone. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking of getting some work done.

Had restylane filler for cheeks done here, only one ml. A week later had a massive lump out of nowhere appear on the right upper cheek, which persisted for a good two or three weeks. I never get cystic acne or anything like that so it was highly unusual and I’m sure it was caused by the injection. That same side of my face now appears to have some vascular issues. So my two cents is beware, this clinic gives illusion of high skill and professionalism but in reality they are mediocre at best.

I used to be so self-conscious of my side profile all the time and it was my biggest insecurity and now I love my side profile and how much more symmetrical my nose is. She made my year by offering the best appointment I have received to date. Knowledgeable, attentive, kind and a true expert in her field, she understood and solved the issues pertaining to my sunken tired looking facial features due to over exercise and dieting. She knew exactly where to place the dermal fillers, took her time and shaped and massaged the treated areas until it was just right. I look 15 years younger. She is a keeper.

Bingo:) My fave treatment is Forever Young BBL. it helped a lot against sun damage signs. I learned about this treatment from Easa during our initial consultation at which I enjoyed a comprehensive skin analysis. What I like the most about Easa, and the staff at 8West in general is the fact that they confidently recommended different products and services, but they never pushed me to buy any products or services. Trying to book a consultation here is just redonkulous. The only one person that can make these oh so magic appointments is always busy. They tell you to wait a couple days for a call back and if you miss that call you are stuck waiting another few days.. Seriously? Maybe you should hire more people..just a thought. Had rhinoplasty done by Dr. Buonassisi back in 2012, was not happy with the result, he refused to do my nose again, my nostril was uneven and the bridge is too wide. He did my alar twice because still too wide. All he did is work on my tip the end result it’s Not what I expected. I am Asian I needed to narrow my bridge, tiplasty and alarplasty. I finally had it fix by other surgeon and I am very happy with the result and less money. Dr. Buonassisi is a caring surgeon and staff are helpful, but I paid a lot of money but did not get the result I want.

I admitted that to her at the consultation and she immediately reassured me that I was important and I deserve to feel comfortable in my own skin. She won me over right there. I was severely asymmetrical and had been self conscious my entire life (I'm 41). She took her time and explained what she saw that would make me a challenging case and what she proposed to do to correct it. She warned me of all the possible risks and complications. She also went over what to expect after surgery and the months following. I learned a lot in that first appointment and I decided to proceed with the surgery. Best decision I've ever made! I went into surgery feeling confident that she would fulfill my wishes and she did! She has real talent at understanding what you want and what will look great with your body. I had the Halo skin laser about 2 years ago and it was very effective in improving my thin english skin and clearing it up. I came to 8 West over the summer to receive lip injections and cheek filler and could not be happier with my results. I especially love my new lips, they look natural and have given me a much-needed boost to my overall appearance. The cheek filler also looks very natural, and has effectively corrected my under-eye hollows and the mid-face volume loss that I was experiencing. I was nervous going in, as it was my first time using fillers, but Lisa made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions--of which I had many! The part that I liked the most is that I didn't pay for 1 single syringe of one type of filler, instead it was a fixed price in which 3 different types of filler were used in various parts of my lips in order to get the most ideal result! So worth it! I was also invited back for 2 complimentary follow-ups to correct a minor issue I was seeing. So it's a really great price for what you receive, in my opinion. The entire experience: Pre-Consultation, Consultation with Dr B, and preparation for the big day, was so easy and pleasant. We (yes I needed looking after too) were well looked after by the guidance of the Patient Care Team. Dr B is personable and explains things carefully and simply. His confidence and easy manner is comforting. Now I realise why he is so confident. The results were above and beyond what we had expected or even hoped for. The recovery was surprisingly easy with aftercare and reassurance. She took the pain meds for only one day and switched to regular Tylenol. She wanted pancakes immediately after the procedure. ???? . The result is natural and balanced. She is thrilled. Since then I have discovered other procedures and non surgical services offered by this clinic. I will definitely be going back for myself!!! I got lip fillers done here and my experience was really poor. I had scheduled a consultation with the option to get the fillers done but the staff entered my appointment time in wrong so when I got there they told me it wasn’t for another 2 hours, so I had to putter around as I had driven down from New West. When it was time for my consultation I had questions (it was my first lip filler at the time) and the nurse seemed annoyed with me and was condescending in her responses. At the end when I decided to do the fillers she told me there was no time as it was just a consultation. I mentioned that I was told I had the option to get it done after the consultation and was met with so much hostility, although she eventually agreed to do the procedure. As I was rushed I wasn’t numb at all as the cream was left for 5 mins or so. It was incredibly painful and when tears started coming down my face (I didn’t cause any fuss/say anything) the nurse seemed more annoyed with me. At the end I looked at my lips and they were both the same size, but plumper. I had asked for my lower lip to be a bit bigger as it looks more natural. When I mentioned this the nurse just said they looked fine and took her gloves off. When I was leaving I wasn’t told any after care, given ice, told what to expect or anything. I had to google it all. The filler itself (Restalyne Kiss) was rock hard in my lips too and I was covered in tiny hard lumps that I could feel for months. Since then I’ve gotten my lips done elsewhere and had a way better experience, and was given Juvaderm which didn’t make my lips hard at all. I didn’t cry during other appointments as they left the freezing on for an appropriate amount of time. I would not recommend 8 West Clinic for lip fillers.

If you want to get rhinoplasty in Vancouver, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Buonassisi. In fact, I had temporarily relocated to Ontario, and considered having it done in Ontario, and after doing extensive research, decided to fly back home to Vancouver get my rhinoplasty under Dr. Buonassisi's care because he was so highly regarded. Let me tell you, he lives up to the hype, and more - seriously! I had injured my nose due to a bad fall, and had lost so much confidence because this injury was so apparent - right in the middle of my face! My injury made me not want to look in the mirror, and altered my appearance - I didn't look like ME anymore. When I consulted with Dr. Buonassisi, I told him I just wanted as close to my old nose as possible - I think my direct quote was, "I just want to look like my parents daughter again!". My surgery was life changing. My nose looks exactly like it did before. I look like myself again - and can look in the mirror with a smile again! Dr. Buonassisi is not just a surgeon, he is an artist, and that's what you need when you get rhinoplasty. On top of it, he has amazing bedside manner, made me feel so comfortable, and is just a warm and friendly person. I also loved his team - my day of nurses and anesthesiologist were amazing - and Sarah at the front desk was wonderful to interact with. Dr. Buonassisi and his team come with my highest recommendation.

The team was so wonderful with the information and answering all the questions I had so i decided to book my surgery. The surgery went by so fast and I had an amazing recovery with almost no bruising and some swelling. 8 West was offering a package of one Halo treatment and three BBL treatments. I decided to go ahead after the skin on my face was computer analyzed and I was found to be in the first percentile for pigmentation for my age. I already had visible freckles, uneven skin tone and redness, and after being shown the pigmentation on my face that wasn't yet visible to the naked eye, I thought it was time to do something about it. Easa did all four treatments. She is wonderful - she thoroughly explained what was going to happen and why, what to expect, and gave me small breaks throughout. She also followed up regularly after each treatment and emailed me a detailed aftercare regime that she put together to treat my specific skin concerns. The worst part of the Halo treatment was the sunburned feeling afterwards. Easa gave me a spray and I used it constantly while I was driving home. If I could do it differently, I would get a ride home so I didn't have to concentrate on driving and spraying at the same time. I stayed on the couch with a cold wet cloth on my face for the rest of the day. The pain had receded by day two but my face was still too red to go out. Try to schedule this so you don't have to work the next day. The BBL treatments sting a bit at the time but there's no pain afterwards. My face appeared blotchy as the pigmentation came up but a bit of mineral makeup covered it. By the third treatment I didn't even need to use the makeup. I noticed improvements over the weeks of the treatments and now my face is glowing. I have some stubborn redness left on either side of my nose and may do one more spot treatment to target just that area. Otherwise the difference is remarkable. I highly recommend these treatments and Easa in particular!

I've been trying to treat my strech marks over the past few years and most clinics suggested not to, since my strech marks had already turned white. One of my friends suggested 8 west clinic last year and I was lucky enough to meet Suzanne. I had a consultation with her which I found very helpful and she provided all the details of treatment. I started my treatment few months ago and I already noticed a major improvement after the first month, thanks to her. This clinic is very professionally run and the services are top notch. I first saw Suzanne Power to discuss my anti-aging options. I chose microneedling which requires three treatments. I had my first session at the end of March. The numbing topical was applied by Kaitlyn and Suzanne did the procedure. It hurt a bit but was manageable. The aftercare instructions were very clear and I was provided with samples to use in the healing process. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin recovered so fast - by the third day it was fine, just a bit of dryness. I made sure to use lots of sunscreen and wear a hat during the first week. I look forward to subsequent sessions. I highly recommend the clinic. During the second treatment, Suzanne was able to go deeper and interestingly, I had less peeling than the first time. The full benefits appear at about 3 months after more collagen is generated but my skin has brightened a lot within a much shorter time. What has been difficult is to avoid the sun so I recommend doing this in the fall/winter.

The consultation was very informative and then the actual surgery couldn't have been better. Alyssa made the whole thing so chill, she was really calming and made sure I was comfortable (she even tucked me in a blanket, like who isn't comfortable after being tucked it!) I felt that he really listened to what I wanted to do (hump reduction and refined tip) and was very realistic and honest about the improvements he could make. I went into surgery happy with the improvements we talked about but the results came out even better, he definitely exceeded what I thought was possible!! The twilight anaesthetic was no big deal, I was conscious and aware but sleepy and in no pain at all, and having experienced both complete-knock-out anaesthesia and this, I can definitely say the recovery is so much better/easier after twilight. I am 6 months post-op now and I see my nose getting more refined every week - can’t wait to see the final result at one year! Rude as hell customer service. The girl I spoke to wouldn’t let me ask any questions, kept constantly interrupting me and decided for me who the doctor doing my surgery and as gonna be. She told me a tip plasty was the same as a full nose job which it most certainly isn’t. I got quotes 9-14 grand which is ridiculous for such a minor procedure. Get it done somewhere else don’t waste your time heading to Vancouver if you don’t live there. There’s tons of information about rhinoplasties on his website which makes him seem really good but it’s jura advertising. Find someone else.

I have not had any procedures done with 8 West but while I was doing my research on the clinic and its staff I found something quite disturbing. I question how well they screen their staff before employment. I found that one of their aestheticians has a criminal history (charged) with fraud. Now what guarantees that our private information is safe? Are their clients at risk of having their identity stolen or their bank accounts hacked into? I find this absolutely ridiculous and i encourage anyone who has had anything done at this clinic to check their accounts to be safe. I can provide the links to what information I have found

Dr. Buonassisi is a very nice and caring doctor. However... a bit too conservative, so if you are NOT looking for a dramatic change, but a subtle, barely noticeable improvement - he's your guy. I have to say the staff members are nice to you pre-surgery. after you had your work done, they are just not as much interested in you, even booking a follow up was not as pleasant of an experience. I was told "we'll let you know" about my follow up appointment. That doesn't work, as it has to be convenient for my schedule as well. Overall, there are other excellent surgeons in YVR, he's great, but do your shopping and know exactly what you want.

I had no pain at all after the surgery, did not need any pain killers (I even have a very low pain tolerance). I am so happy with my results, and people who know me don't notice I had work done. I was nervous about IV/twilight sedation, but it is nothing to worry about, it was the best sleep of my life and I don't remember any of it. If you want a nice natural nose come here!

I called 3 days before to cancel due to work and they refused to give me my refund or reschedule and thanked me for pointing out the “typo” on their website. They called me back because they allowed me to reschedule but every time I called I was told she was busy. I haven’t heard back from them at all. $157 is a lot for a surgical consult please use your money somewhere else.

I went in and received buccal fat removal with Dr. Buonassisi. It was easier than going to the dentist! 30 minute visit and such a beautiful subtle change. Service was great! From the moment I walked into their office at the front, to consult, surgery and post op. Dr. Buonassisi didn’t rush the consult process and was very calm and told me realistically what my results would be— very subtle. He went through the risks and benefits which I liked. Prepare your own questions as well. The staff who assisted me on my case megan, Noel and Caroline were so nice. They followed up pre op and post op and made sure I was healing properly. Even during the 30 minute surgery the girls were so helpful. Right after surgery I was able to see a subtle change. It was beautifully done. It was easier than going to the dentist. I dream of getting rhinoplasty from Dr. B one day (I'm saving up) and wanted to try lip fillers as a way to balance my face in the meantime. I knew I wanted 8 west for rhinoplasty, but I shopped around when it came to lip filler, seeing a few different injectors before I met with Lisa at 8 west. I instantly noticed Lisa's expertise and honesty, and now after a couple years of her doing my lip filler and botox, I recommend her for those exact reasons. She's an expert in her field and it shows. I felt like in the past, injectors didn't look much at my entire face and targeted one issue. Like if I wanted bigger lips, they just gave them to me, which ultimately caused issues like filler migration in or above my lips; if I wanted to relax my forehead a little, they'd freeze one little area, but that would end up making other parts of my face more expressive, resulting in some deeper wrinkles elsewhere. Because Lisa looks at the whole picture/your whole face and has so much experience, her style is realistic and informed. If you want absolute honesty and great results, see Lisa! My results are awesome yet natural enough that people don't know what I've had done, they just say "you look great!" I've even had "did you lose weight?" when um, no, quite the opposite during the pandemic. Recently, I also saw Sonya for skin. She was also great! Honest, helpful, and sweet. After years of reading magazines, seeing dermatologists, etc., I still learned new things about my skin from her within a short consult. I did a peel and lasers for acne rosacea and plan to do more skin maintenance stuff in the future! And I can't wait to finally see Dr. B for my nose one day ;)

However I did not like the fact that there’s no real follow up, it’s already been more then 8 weeks and I have not gotten a single call to see the progress , they charged me a total of $2100 for ONE treatment , which honestly that product is the same any where but because it’s 8 west , then the price is shot to the heavens . I later found other places that did the same for a lot less .8 west was my first time There and first time doing this procedure , would I recommend ? I had breast augmentation surgery with dr Bovill. Dr Bovill was very professional from the first foot in door. She made me feel very confident and at ease with her level of knowledge. She took her time explaining everything and went over all my options. I left feeling like I will be in excellent hands. I was able to book my surgery within one month of the consultation! I saw another plastic surgeon prior to her, but I just felt way more comfortable with dr Bovill. I was in frequent contact via text and email with Mica from 8 West. She answered all my pre op questions in very timely fashion. I received emails a few weeks prior to surgery with everything you could ever want to know prior to this surgery! I made myself a nice binder to look through. It explained all the pre op and post op instructions. The day of surgery was at the very excellent Valley Surgery Center in Surrey. I cannot say enough about how professional they are and how comforting they made me feel. Post op follow up with dr Bovill was excellent as well within the same week as my surgery. I feel great and my breasts look excellent! I am very happy indeed. Thank you 8 West Team!

I've had an incredibly pleasant experience with 8 West. I've been twice now and each experience was extremely professional and easy. The office itself is lovely, but the staff are even better. I have seen Lisa and Sonya for two different facial "procedures" (BBL, botox) and they were both SO informative, kind, and did not rush me in any questions or concerns I had. I got an otoplasty procedure done by Dr. Buonassisi after being insecure about my ears for a long time. The consultation went very smoothly and I appreciated how open and honest he was with me. He managed my expectations about the results and told me exactly what was going to happen. Had a really good experience at 8West - I was booking micro-needling for the first time and the staff were very knowledgeable. I also really appreciated their honesty. Usually I get nervous about clinics and technicians being pushy and up selling but the lady who helped me was extremely honest and told me the minimum number of treatments I would need frankly to see results but also didn’t push me to buy more than I needed and can reassess later as she was confident I would be happy with my results.
