The Northern Hussle

I was a bit afraid of going to the dentist for my cracked tooth considering My last experience with a dentist (Dr.Hoppe) wasn’t the best considering the bad attitude of the doctor and the tool that broke in my mouth. The assistant and secretary were 100%. ***but from the minute I booked my appointment with Doctor Ramzey, I had a good intuition that things may go well. When I got to the establishment, I was greeted with a very professional waiting area, well lit and modern interior which matched the brand new condo the office was attached to. Immediately, dr. Ramsey came out personally to greet me and make me feel at ease, When I entered one of the many operating rooms everything was modern, bright and clean. It was as if nothing had ever been used, that’s how immaculately they kept their spaces. When he began repairing my tooth, the procedure went smoother than having a haircut. I give thanks they were able to save my tooth and re-engineer another tooth that almost feels better than what was there before. I was expecting a hefty bill, but I was told that Dr. Ramsey appreciates my demeanour and gave me a serious break on price. About 500 dollar break. I will definitely be promoting these people to everyone. Thank you for your professionalism and unbiased service. All the best

I had a tooth ache which required a root canal. Dr. Ramzi was professional from the beginning as well as accommodating for a nervous patient such as myself. He walked me through the entire process, and was able to accommodate with a same day referral for a root canal at a top notch clinic. I searched Leslieville for a dentist as I needed a tooth looked at and a general examination as well. This clinic despite the reviews was my last choice. I had called the other more reputable and long standing dentists but was not able to see them as quickly as I had wanted (my erroneous and impatient mistake) I read the reviews for Dr. Ramzi and made the appointment. The receptionist is exceptional at providing information and assisting with details. I went in, he was super friendly and I am sure a nice young guy, but he is lacking a level of professionalism and transparency that other dentists have and should provide. He is also uber expensive. I took all the necessary xrays. He comes in and tells me I have 6 cavities. I was bewildered...he didn't show me the xrays nor did he follow through with a physical examination, (as I have been told by two other dentists that needs to be performed) of my mouth to ensure the xrays were correct. So, not suresure what the full examination cost was for. In a nutshell, he performed two fillings one tiny cosmetic fix, I walked out of there with a $1,000 bill. In retrospect I should of asked more questions. I would of accepted this, not knowing any better, but 5 weeks later I had an emergency, he wasn't available, because he is only there part-time, so I had to see another dentist. I went to see another dentist who did another set of xrays, did a full physical examination of all my teeth, and needless to say I DO NOT have any cavities. I will be pursuing this further, but needed to invest this time to write this review. Everyone's experience is different, this is mine.

I have terrible teeth and had bad, fake-looking veneers for too many years and no longer. Dr. Ramzi has given me a beautiful, natural-looking smile and people are always complimenting my teeth. He's a fantastic dentist. What's more, it's a beautiful office that is open on weekends and in the evenings, meaning you don't have to try to squeeze a dentist's appointment into your work day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I recently moved into the neighbourhood and found this office through Open Care. After scheduling an appointment and having it cancelled by the dental office, I called to rebook and to inquire if the cancellation would impact the Open Care reward. The receptionist I spoke with was extremely rude. She immediately assumed, based on my reward inquiry, that I was only booking to get a reward and said that she was not interested in booking me. I explained to her that I was looking to change my dentist since I had recently moved and that I found their office through Open Care - the reward was just a bonus. She continued to tell me that asking about the reward was “unfair” to them and that they’re not interested in “patients like me”. I was seriously shocked. She wouldn’t let me speak any further and at that point I decided this wasn't a dental office that I wanted to do business with. Get off Open Care if you’re not interested in how the program is run. I'm sure there are people who take advantage of this but you can't assume everyone is out to get you - there are genuine people trying to find a new dentist. Adjust your rude attitude towards prospective patients.

This clinic saved my life! I experience severe anxiety, especially when going to the dentist, however, Dr. Hindieh made my visit so easy. The staff were very welcoming as soon as I walked in, which initially lessened my anxiety levels. I severely chipped my front tooth and was only expecting to get an initial exam done because of my anxiety, however, I was able to get a full repair within my first visit because I felt so comfortable. Thank you so much Leslieville Prosthodontics staff and Dr. Hindieh! I never thought I would look forward to a cleaning but now I am. I can't wait for my next visit!

Dr Ramzi is very talented at what he does. Quick, efficient and a pleasure to always deal with. Highly recommend!! About a week before my vacation my front crown was very loose... toddler child loose, i went in, ensuring he would have a plan b in place incase it was was more involved than a simple recement. He assessed it, cleaned it up and quickly recemented! Which allowed me to have peace of mind on my trip. ????

I'm usually a very anxious person when it comes to visiting the dentist, but after being a patient here for more than a year, I have gotten much better at taking care of my teeth and making more frequent visits. My gums no longer bleed when I brush/floss and get healthier after every cleaning as I improve my dental health. Can't recommend this office enough to dentist-averse people in the neighborhood. P.S.: The art and Palestine map on the walls add a great touch to the office ambience. :)

I travel all the way from Montreal just to see him as I trust no one to do as good of a job on my teeth. He is skillful, professional, and attentive. Coming here always feels like visiting an old friend. Dr. Ramzi is super friendly and funny but professional. He gets the job done without any pain. I suggested that he install a TV above the dentist's chair on the ceiling and he did it by my next visit! I've been coming regularly for two years now and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Only improvement would be to provide some snacks in the waiting room...

The best dental clinic in the GTA. All the staff was super friendly, helpful and informative. I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed, it was an fast and painless, Dr. Ramzi checked with me every 5min to make sure I was ready for the operation and make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure, and took his time to make sure it comes out smoothly . After the removal, he provided me with post operation information and make sure I was informed on the post-op, and ask me to contact him or the clinic if I was feeling any discomfort. The next day, Dr. Ramzi gave me a follow up to make sure I was okay after the operation. I was surprised to see that the area was not swollen and bleeding. Overall, it was a Great experience. Dr. Ramzi have definitely earn my future business, and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

We have had appointments rescheduled numerous times at this office. Our family has been trying to get dental work done before our health benefits expired at the end of the month (which we explained to the front desk repeatedly). Appointments were cancelled or rescheduled with very little notice. We were told by the receptionist each time it was because Dr. Hindieh had to be in hospital. We will now have to pay out of pocket for the dental work we need done. This dentist did not prioritize us as patients. We will not be returning to this office.

Dr. Ramzi Hindieh and the team at Leslieville Prosthodontics are fantastic! Dr. Hindieh is calm, knowledgeable and professional, and direct with his advice. He takes the time to explain your dental needs and create a personalized plan, and he answers questions in ways that are easy to understand. All in all, Dr. Hindieh makes seeing the dentist as comfortable as it can be. The office is pleasant to visit too as it is clean and modern (there are TV’s on the ceilings above the chairs!) and the receptionist is kind and accommodating. They also take appointments on evenings and weekends, which is convenient. The hygienist, Stefanie, is extremely thorough and gentle, and Stefanie also explains what she is doing and what you will feel as she cleans your teeth. Leslieville Prosthodontics is an exceptional dental office that I have recommended to my own friends and family.

Dr. Ramzi was more than accommodating to help fix a broken implant on the same day that it broke. He was not even my dentist at that point. His work is excellent. He is very conscious in making sure that his work is completed to your expectations. Moreover, Dr. Ramzi’s friendliness and good humour changes the entire experience of going to the dentist. It feels more like going to your neighborhood coffee shop than going to the dentist. His office is very international and can accommodate English, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish speakers. The office also has evening appointments for those who work during daytime hours.

Have had a great experience with the work done by Dr. Hindieh. I had two missing front teeth, misaligned teeth, and all of the teeth crowned long time ago. The work done by another dentist to change the upper crowns and improve my smile left me with unbalanced bite, horrible pain and disconfort. Tried bite adjustments and changing all of the crowns with temporary crowns with another prosthodontist, then switched over to Dr. Hindieh. Dr. Hindieh and his dental tehnicians immediately came up with a plan, and they didn't give up till they managed to restore the function and appearance of my teeth. I have never been a fan of doctors or dentists and usually only go if I am on deaths door or in great pain. I discovered Ramzi and his team almost 4 years ago when they first opened. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. During Covid I had an abscessed tooth that needed emergency surgery, a root canal and a crown. Needless to say i was extremely anxious. Everything was handled extremely efficiently and every safety precaution was taken to ensure my own and his teams safety. I think I may have even laughed a few times during the ordeal. Highly recommend the entire team !!!

My experience with Dr. Hindieh has been exceptional. I first went to see him 2 years ago, after not having seen a dentist in a number of years. When doing my oral examination he identified something on the back of my tongue that he called pappilitis. He took a picture of it and sent to an oral surgeon asking if a biopsy was required. The Oral Surgeon responded that it was normal tissue and just to monitor the area. Something told me that Dr. Hindieh was not totally convinced. I followed up with my family doctor, who didn't see anything. I was still concerned, so to make a long story short, I persisted and two months later was diagnosed with an HPV+ oral cancer at the back of my tongue. The treatment protocol for this type of cancer is really rough, but it is cured!! Dr. Hindieh saw something when others didn't. He just may have contributed to saving my life. To say I appreciate him is an understatement. You CANNOT go wrong with him. In addition to being a good clinician, he is a really nice guy! I won't go anywhere else.
