Awful! I go there around 915 as they are opened at 9:30 and the doctor doesn't arrive till quarter to 11. The waiting room smelt so rotten, with being this sick it was a awful experience waiting, running back and forth to the washroom from feeling neasues. The secretary is there just for show, you tell her the same thing you will go and tell the doctor. Finally got to see the doctor, as I'm talking he walks away! He put a light to my throat and bam told me what I needed. Waste of my time. Very rude people working there also.

The experience I had at this walk in clinic was atrocious and it had nothing to do with the doctors. If you enjoy being treated with no compassion or empathy than Ridgeway is the place for you. The receptionist will gladly make you feel like there’s something wrong with you and scowl the whole time she’s doing it and proceed to give you attitude as soon as you ask a question. She may be someone’s cup of tea but she was enough for me to never go back there again. If you would like to be treated with empathy and compassion then stay away far away from Ridgeway clinic.

The receptionist was very pleasant, it was a clean and nice atmosphere there. The doctor came by almost instantly and we weren't in there for more than 30 minutes. This is a place I would highly recommend.

Have waited almost three hours and still haven’t gotten in. The front desk tells you that 2 people are infront of you and then 6 people go in before you get in. Go anywhere else

wow, this has got to be the worst clinic I've seen yet. Zero customer service, zero help, zero anything! Ive called the clinic everyday for over 2 weeks to do a follow up about an issue AND NO ANSWER AND VOICE MAILS ALWAYS FULL!! SERIOUS ?? The lady at the front is extremely rude / and not knowledgeable (stupid) about anything! She does not even know what a fricken fax machine is! I do not recommend visiting or dealing with this place if you can, but notice the options in T bay are very limited and sad. Hope this helps.

Everytime i went there the doc diagnosed me wrong and he was rude with me. I got another doc to check me out and i had a life threatening case. He is one of the worst doctors. I went another time and he was wrong about something else. I can see why his practice closed.

Happy to learn that this walk-in clinic re-opened! I saw a doctor right away and was pleased with my experience. It was also nice to hear that they are now offering urgent care. Thunder Bay needs this! ER wait times are terrible at our hospital.

I have never had a good experience here. Clinic opens at 9am and the doctor showed up at 930am. Over heard the receptionist talking and apparently he is always late. Once he arrived he moved us through very quickly.

I saw other Dr's who ignored my symptoms. I persisted and finally went to Ridgeway Clinic and saw Dr. Wood. He took immediate action and sent me for the correct tests which lead to a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr. Wood followed up with me until I could see a specialist. This clinic and the staff are top notch. I am now post surgery and owe them for paying attention to my symptoms and guiding me to the help I needed..

Girl at the front counter was very pleasant. However got there at 9:20 and waited outside in a line up until 935. Had to wait until 11:00 when the doctor finally showed up. Good thing I was the first in line otherwise wouldn't have gotten out of there until 1:00. I feel bad for the people that had to sit there for 3 hours with kids. Bad time management on the doctors part. Would definitly go to a different one.

This walk in is permanently closed. Went there with my daughter today since we seen nothing online saying it was closed. Walked in and seen the note on the desk saying they are closed. So disappointed.. ridgeway was one walk in I would always go to because they were open during the day and pretty quick if you made it in early enough to beat the rush!

Just left this clinic after waiting for 2 hours. Brought my one year old in because of a rash and cold (I thought would be due to teething). Was told it would only be a half hour wait, turned into 2 hours - the receptionist was quite rude when after an hour I had asked how much longer it would be she said “um an hour and a half is the usual wait time.” We’ll im sorry but i don’t know the “usual wait time” as I am from Toronto and was told half an hour. Finally get in with the doctor and he didn’t even give my daughter a checkup. He didn’t listen to her, didn’t ask for her age or her weight, didn’t bother to inquire if her immunizations were up to date, or look at her back for the rest of the area with rash. Quickly prescribed us a cream with steroids and antibiotics - and had us on our way. Ridiculous health care system. Far from impressed or even treated as a decent patient. Do not suggest AT ALL.
