I love the front desk staff that work here. They actively pursue help and understanding, and are more than willing to make accommodations for clients. On one of my recent visits here, my insurance didn't cover the whole appointment, and they offered me a payment plan. They're really understanding about people's situations and never once have I felt unwelcome or misunderstood. The front desk staff always clearly explain things to me and listen about my concerns. Great service!

Thank you Memorial Avenue dentistry clinic did accept and give a very good treatment to my daughter. This clinic is one of the few clinics in Thunder Bay that accept patient under covered by Healthy Smiles program. The clinic was under high quality for infection prevention and control. You must take shoes and wear temporary socks as you are in clinic. The x-ray delivery in room and showed on computer. The doctor and assistant were really nice and high skilled. My daughter felt ok for this class two filling on her milk molar. As finishing the treatment, she and her brother also had the right to choose a toys from clinic. Thank you so much. The parking lot is wide and easy parking. Next to it is Mc Donald then easy to calm the kids for a dental treatment.

I have had several fillings and one extraction at this place and the extraction followed a filling of a molar. I use to work in a dental office and used to assist a dentist. In the office we always used aseptic techniques and even I would have have to wear goggles and gowns and gloves. I watched them handle cotton and stuff they used in my mouth without gloved hands and they didn't sterilize or clean my mouth prior to working on my teeth. I was not surprised the filling ended up in an extraction a few months later. I was contacted on a Saturday and one of the secretaries asked to book me for a filling and I said sure thinking I would be able to make it, but the next day my sister didn't come back from up north due to weather and since the office is not open on Sundays, I phoned in Monday morning to cancel and I was told I would have to pay a no show fee for an appointment I didn't really request for at the time and could not cancel due to office closure and time constraints. I am looking for a dental office where they practice aseptic techniques. Sometimes I feel being on Social Assistance and being first nations, most people will perform in a sub standard manner. I used to work in a clinic, both in a northern town and in town, plus I Obsessive Compulsive about germs and people have told me I should work for a surgical unit as a cleaner.

The staff are great. Had a filling done by Dr Ash and assisted by Jenna, both were very communicative with me and sensitive to my past with dental care experiences. Very good experience as I have had bad dental experiences in the past with previous dentists. 10/10 recommend!

This guy ash is a creep, trust me you don't want him anywhere near your mouth! From the way he talks to his staff to the way he treats his customers (and their KIDS), just definitely not a good dentist. 100% do NOT recommend. The folks at reception are great, just sorry they have to deal with ash.

Had broken teeth doctor said two thing root canal and teeth extraction and said minor surgery required for root canal has long wait time and tooth extraction can be done now but not explained root canal is better than teeth extraction later I learn from internet keeping original teeth should be first choice not good experience So not explaining patients which is good treatment

Dr. Ash is a man who takes pride in his work. He's friendly to everyone and loves to crack jokes, and always does an excellent job. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those who are generally uncomfortable with dentistry, as he knows how to make your appointments an enjoyable experience.

I've been afraid of the dentist since I was a child. When I met Dr. Kalgi last month in regards to pain in a tooth that turned into a root canal that I needed he was very patient, very understanding, extremely informative and I never felt 'guilty' or judged for having the issues I've had with my teeth. I was able to sit down with him and he went over all my concerns and explained things to me I never really knew about until I met him. Usually it's in and out when you see the dentist, but Dr. Kalgi was amazing. He even remembered things I said to him about my medical situation and remembered who I am. Having a doctor take you seriously has been a struggle I've dealt with forever, and I've always been terrified of the dentist, because they haven't been as informative or as reassuring and honest as this dentist. His assistant is also extremely kind and sweet, and very reassuring and has great bedside manner and just a positive vibe coming off of her all the time and kind enough to hold my sweaty nervous palm when I needed it. I would never go back or recomend anyone go. I was lied too by one of the staff members i called them on the lies an I just got more lies in return. not to mention the dental service I received was also less than ideal. it might just be me but I dont think the dr should be asking paitent questions about how to do the procedure.. ????‍♂️

I've been lucky to have only positive experiences with Memorial Dentistry! Dr Santiago has been very understanding and patient with me in regards to my fear of the dentist. Another time is more recently. When I was leaving my appointment, we realized that someone had accidentally taken my shoes from the front entrance way (we are to remove them when entering). Because of this, Dr Ash was gracious enough to replace the shoes that were taken. I could say nothing negative about Memorial Dentistry and the staff there! 10/10 would recommend!

Dr Ash Mokhtari restored two fractured teeth for me. The two procedures were painless and my teeth are fully functional again . The staff were friendly, professional and very compassionate. Dr Ash is not only a perfectionist but very gentle and caring . During this covid pandemic the office follows every protocol set out by the Ministry of Health I highly recommend this office

Terrible staff very rude and ignorant, definitely won't ever be going back to this dentist. The dentist herself was very tough and aggressive and doesn't speak English well. Won't be returning again 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND AS A DENTIST Grandview dental is the choice to go to!

They make way to many appointments instead of fixing a couple things all at once they’ll make one appointment per tooth filling which takes a very long time to get your teeth fixed, dentist puts freezing needle in way to far so it’s painful to get fillings done here

Extremely disappointed in the service level . This clinic books the root canal appointments months apart, they do not respond appropriately to patient's emergency calls, they dismiss patients with valid concerns about possible infection and medical emergencies. I will not recommend this clinic at all

I had to call the office on a Saturday regarding a lump on my daughters gum and we were seen straight away. Dr. Ash and his assistant made my daughter feel extremely comfortable in the room and she came out happy and smiling. The office staff are super warm and welcoming it was a really positive experience for us and we have now switched the whole family over to Memorial Avenue!

Front end staff are so friendly, efficient, and keep you updated while you wait. The dentists are knowledgeable and explain clearly what they see in layman’s terms good or bad. My Scaling experience was as gentle and thorough as possible . Felt very safe during Covid since while waiting the staff was always sanitizing all areas. Highly recommend!

Dr Mukhtari is a very very rude person, never going back to this clinic. I can not imagine this kind of rude person can practice in Canada. Now he says there was other patient's privacy issue. The 1st thing I want to ask you that to protect the privacy of one patient why you had to insult other patient. Your staff member guided my kids to the place where you keep your cheap toys and then they were left aone there. If you were so concerend about the privacy of your patients then your staff should have stayed with them. The other thing you did was very rudely pushing my kids out of that room. I hope that you will never do that again to anyone else. I'm sure if you do it again you will be in great trouble. your staff was really good and I feel sorry about them that they have to work with someone like you.
