The staff are so friendly and hopeful! Definitely the most thorough eye exam I have received and Dr. Tan’s really takes the time to explain and health teach you about your eye health and options available. They are also not pushy at all with the selling of their products

The girls here were super helpful and friendly! Deanna helped me find the perfect pair of glasses, and Dr. Tan was super informative during the eye exam, and made the experience great even with the covid-19 precautions.

Such patient and friendly staff! Very professional and timely. Doctor was also very thorough and even gave me plenty of advice on how to keep up with my eye health. I was running out of contact lenses and I really needed to order new ones. I had an eye exam and within a few days they called and said they had demos for me to try: a pack of dailies and monthly's. It usually takes a few weeks for me to receive new contacts and never once have I been given the option to try out different kinds of contacts at no expense from any other optometrist office. Ive worn glasses/contacts my whole life so I've been to my fair share of optometrists and fyidoctors in Thorold has been my best experience so far. 10/10.

Dr. Wouldn't give me my daughter's PD number so I could buy her new glasses. We had just bought $300 pair 6 months earlier so the number was already taken. Just wanted an extra 30 bucks from someone on disability. So much for caring about your customers. We won't be back.

The optometrist was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in depth, in terms that made sense to me. All of the staff were very warm, welcoming, and patient. My overall experience was very pleasant!! Both receptionists worked with me to find a pair of glasses I liked. Great staff with clean and equipped facilities:):)

My friend recommended the office, my kids and I visited the office for the first time. The staffs in the office are very friendly and professional from booking to in-clinic experience. Dr. Tan is very through and explained medical term and knowledge in an easy understanding approach. She is very patient with kids, and you can tell she is full of compassion. Kids had a great time, very warm and happy office, will visit again. Thank you.

Simply put, this is the best optometrist office I have ever been to. Dr. Wicks is top notch, reception is always friendly and engaging, their equipment is modern and Emily in the glasses department is super patient, helpful, thoughtful and fantastic. My experience with the FYidoctors team in Thorold has been perfect. I'm perfectly happy to make the drive from my home in Beamsville (25 minutes away) even though there are several closer options.
