Dr.MacDonald is an amazing, attentive and caring Dr. I had her at St.Catherines general after suffering complications from an earlier surgery performed by a different obgyn/gynecologist. She was so pleasant to be around and very informative and checked on me regularly always keeping me informed. I'll actually be switching to this office asap! Thanks for all that you do!

Horrible experience. Not only did she make we wait for 30 minutes for her to finish a phone meeting, I felt as though she didn't listen at all to the problems I've been suffering with for years now. The exam and entire appointment couldn't have been longer than 20 minutes and ended with her basically telling me it's all in my head. Will not reccomend to anyone ever.

I was just discharged yesterday under the care of Dr. Heather MacDonald from St. Catharines General Hospital. I had an emergency surgery scheduled and she was the doctor on call the evening of. I can not say enough about how she immediately made me feel as though I was in such good hands for the task that was to be taken on. She reassured me with confidence and a sincerity that made such a difference in how I felt about going into the operating room. She was warm and comforting. She listened to me and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. She was able to just naturally encourage me to trust that I had nothing to be worried about while in her care. “I’ve got you” is what I felt. It brought my anxiety down immediately and everything went so well. To have a doctor like this by your side when facing a scary stressful situation...well I couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are blessed to have her in our community. Thank you for your exceptional care Dr. MacDonald! <3

Dr. MacDonald is one fantastic doctor! She delivered my baby and performed my girlfriend's C section and WOW. She was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she She deliver my baby safely into the world she was there the next morning to see my gf to make sure everything was ok and if her pain was being managed appropriately. She was back again the next day to make sure everything was healing as it should. She's very polite and professional! I highly recommend her.

She did my endoscopy and she was very patient in explaining and clarifying things for me. The receptionist is very nice as well.
